I've driven past Mikan for the last 7 years and today was the 1st time I ever went inside and I sure am glad I did. The Eel was fresh, the Spicy Tuna super tasty. Service was awesome. And the place was clean. Well definitely visit again.

It’s an EXCELLENT place to get a delicious, fresh and so tasteful sushi. We also asked for ramen and OMG ... delicious. We just loved everything in this place. The food is amazing. It was my first time trying the famous dessert (I don’t remember the name) and it’s very very delicious, especially the mango ice cream one. I definitely will be back for more of this menu. 100% recommended

I love this place. Small and cozy. The food is excelente. The soups are big and will get you full for sure. Sushi and gyozas are so delicious. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Sushi rolls were below standard. Pieces were falling out. Place isn’t smartly designed to seat properly. But maybe because I am from Vancouver and my expectations were too high. Oh … and pricing, isn’t the ideal.

Easily the best and most authentic Japanese Restaurant in Pembroke Pines, dare I say Broward County. The Spicy conch is amazing, the Sashimi is always high quality, buttery and fresh (chef throws in extra from time to time) and… they have Toro and Uni! 5 stars and more. Most authentic! LOVE this place

Great casual spot for Japanese food. Relatively cheap too! The nigiri I had were all pretty good. And this is probably one of the best spots in Miami for a good katsu curry. I did have the katsu don recently, and it wasn't that good. However the usual stuff I get is always done quite well, and the service is stellar. I can't wait to try other things on the menu. The atmosphere is always very nice and relaxed, and not too loud or too quiet.

As a Taiwanese, I really think it’s just okay. Maybe I had high expectations, all the sushi and hand roll was just okay to me. Pork belly was little salty and needs some rice to eat with. Or maybe they can make bento 🍱 with the pork belly. It’s just too salty to eat it as appetizer. I did see Japanese customers there for bento and some rice dishes. But sushi was just okay to me.

We were around the area and search on Google Map to found this Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The service was helpful and friendly. We ordered takeout that day. We ordered some rolls and a fried oysters. The rolls were good, but the fired oysters was a bit dry. We had fried oysters from many Japanese restaurants. Perhaps we might have to say they are 2 out of 10 on the fried oysters. They were cut in half and you can see how dry they look. It was not too pleasant. Those rolls were typical and average. Good food, we had the udon. A little salty for my liking but pretty standard for most udons I had. The sushi was really good though. Tasted fresh and we got a good portion. Everything is a little expensive but not outrageous. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and had a good layout. Overall, not the best Japanese restaurant I've been to but still good spot to eat if you're in the area.

Me and my husband are sushi lovers and we always order from the same place , always afraid to tried new sushi places . Unfortunately our regular restaurant was closed and we ordered from here . I can’t even begin to describe the dissatisfaction when I tried the rolls . The salmon and shrimp were borderline rotten , and smelled bad . The avocado was black . Just to save you guys the time and an extremely disappointing experience .

We stumbled with this place when we had already planned going somewhere else, and boy am I glad we ended up here! The space is tiny but the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. Their staff is amazing our waitress was funny and patient at all times and even waited for us to make our choices of their menu with a smile on her face at all times. As for their food, we got their Gyoza (pork dumplings deep fried) and they were exquisite, lobster tempura roll, tropical roll, hand held Boston Roll and their tempura ice cream and Thai donuts. Their sushi was amazing tasty flavorful we had to get one last hand held roll due to the fact that why we're so delicious, and their desserts where exquisite, couldn't get enough of their Thai donuts at the end we ended up fighting for one of them lol. In conclusion if you are in the area this is a must they are not overprice and the food is extremely worth it they are not disappointed.

We stopped by late one day and I am glad we did. Hiro, our server, was great. She knew the menu and guided us to order great rolls. I am not lying when I tell you that this place has the best sushi in Pembroke Pines. Hands down I recommend this sushi to anyone looking for a good spot.

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have visited. Food is delicious, fresh and healthy. In restaurants we can never judge the books by the cover. I almost never give reviews, but here it was compelling to give a 5 star!

Love this place! Every time I go the food is fresh and tasty, the prices and portions are great, and the service is friendly and fast. My boyfriend and I drive 30 minutes to dine here and always have an amazing experience.

5 stars for our waitress. Otherwise… wow. How bad does it get?! The Tonkatsu ramen had 2 pieces of pork, and 2 bean sprouts. The Katsu Curry dish said it came with vegetables (plural) we received one sprig of broccoli. Apparently the katsu sauce comes in a military MRE style packet pre portioned. So all in with some drinks and an appetizer, we are at $70… I am absolutely perplexed as to how this place has an average of 4.5 stars at this time. It must be for the service. Our waitress was great. Management should be ashamed. Do yourself a favor.. take a pass on this place.

I am a regular here. The sushi is fresh and prepared really well. Only thing I didnt like today is the european lady who handed me my to go order today gave a little attitude when I asked for a little extra wasabi. I have also dined in here and its been a great experience. The miso soup is great too. All the other employees are very nice and down to earth.

Really nice place! I loved the food here and the ramen will leave you stuffed. The staff were very kind and attentive. I'll definitely be coming back when I can.

There was a large party there, and they took their time just hanging out. I got it; they were celebrating a birthday. But it's not a huge restaurant. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Once we were seated, the service was fast, and the food was great! We'll definitely go again! And yes, the food was worth the wait.
