AMAZING!!!! The Wet Burrito is unbelievable and the Guacamole is so fresh. Portion sizes are great and the ambiance is spot on. They offer a few tables or a high top counter if you want to dine in.

I ordered the carne asada tacos with rice and beans that were good but could be better. These decent tacos are not worth the price and problems that came with it. (Not pictured) I also ordered grilled fish tacos for my boyfriend, which the waitress confirmed to me they had, but got shrimp tacos instead. For a restaurant that charged me 18% gratuity for pick up orders, I would expect them to at least get the order right. As a fan of tacos, there are countless other taquerias in South Florida with tastier tacos, better prices, and service. *Edit (from 1* to 3*): After calling the establishment about the shrimp dilemma, I was met with an angry manager who claimed I had ordered grilled fish over the phone when I specifically asked if grilled fish tacos were available. It wouldn't make sense of me to order shrimp tacos as my boyfriend is allergic to shrimp. After some phone calls, the manager gave me full refund but immediately dropped the call on me without confirmation or even a goodbye. I appreciate the refund, but I still stand with my opinion on better taquerias.

Not authentic at all. Ordered carne asada tacos and was disappointed in the presentation and taste. Look at the meat looks boiled and bland. Attempted to get a refund at 8:45 and was told that they closed the register even though they close at 9pm. Refused to give me the money back so I left the food at the door and was told I don’t have a education by the staff. They suck. Taco Bell is better I’ll go to my usual spot La Fondita in Hollywood for authentic Mexican.

We have been thru all USA looking for the best tacos. Actually we went a the way to Mexico. I guarantee this tacos and food are authentic Mexican. It might seem expensive but the portions are huge. I wish the restaurant was bigger it feels a bit tight. But we will not stop coming here. We love it. The food was delicious.

This would be my 2nd time eating here at this location. We were the only customers at the time we went, waitress was on top of our service experience. Food was actually great.

I love this place and am happy with the food and service until last week .The waitress ( not the girl who is usually there when I go )was surly and rude and did not even check on us once to see if we needed anything. I got up a total of 4 times to go to the counter : * for a fork as my child dropped hers .* For some shredded cheese .* For a straw, as water did not come with it .* Took the cheq along with the card to the counter as I got tired of waiting. To add insult to injury, they had charged me a dollar for a tbsp of shredded cheese which I disagree on a point of principle. When I told the waitress that, she shrugged her shoulders.Needless to say ,I did not top even though I am normally a generous tipper !

Been here a few times. Food always has great flavors. Staff is nice. Small location. I've enjoyed their habanero enchiladas, bicentennial enchiladas, and mole xico enchiladas. Love the spicy red sauce they bring to the table, has a nice kick. Their horchata is great.

Honestly in disbelief that this restaurant would be okay letting this quality of food leave their doors. We ordered 1 kids cheese quesadilla, 1 kids chicken tinga tacos with rice/beans & an order of guacamole. We did not receive the chicken tacos, but instead what was either frozen fish sticks, or frozen chicken tenders on soft tacos no rice/beans. The quesadilla cheese was barely melted, as you can see the tortilla is not even browned at all. 4 YES, FOUR chips, where one of them was just soaked in grease so it was only 3 edible chips, and the order of guacamole, which was $7.99. I assumed it would come with chips for that price, and that was my fault, or maybe it was supposed to and that was their fault for not including it, but either way, this visit was terrible. We have been to the other location on pines and the wet burrito was great. This visit unfortunately ruined any chance of us wanting to try again.

I ordered picadillo tacos for my son and it literally came sitting in 3 inches of oil, the refried beans & rice all literally swimming in oil I don’t know how anyone can serve that I tried to get as much oil off as I could but my son wouldn’t eat it and when I tasted it, it was absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend this place ever.

I have ordered from this place four times. The first time I ate in person and it was really good. But I'm giving this place a one star due to a lack of consistency and for what it appears. Old food being delivered. The three times I ate here each time I've had old rice and cold food. I got three different things each time as well just to see if the consistency would be different. I ordered three carnitas tacos today They had no flavor, minimal cilantro and onion and my rice and beans are cold.

This was so far my favorite Mexican restaurant until few weeks ago. I went on a Taco Tuesday which means that some tacos are $2 and nachos $5. I went to pick up my tacos (4tacos and one nachos) I gave the girl $100 and she gave me back like $30… I didn’t check because I would never think that they would do something like that… I called and tried to asked them to check the cámaras to confirm (I don’t have reasons to lie) and they never called me back… so disappointed!!! Never going back because as a business you also need to be honest with your clients!!

Came with the kids to eat carne asada Taco and chiken quesadilla.. food was good, portions are decent but prices are sky high for a Taco and a quesadilla ( I guess inflation ).. service over all was good.

Place is small, love this because it brought memories of a Mexican restaurant I use to visit in uptown with my wife when I lived in NY. Food was amazing, will fill you up. The sauces are perfect, careful with red one cause I saw someone cough wildly and its that spicy lol. The seasoning on the meats are great, not too overwhelming. Will take long to receive your food, probably because its made to order fresh instead of something being heated all day.

I came to Los Tacos with great expectations and I have to say I was very disappointed. We ordered the Queso Fundido, Habanero Crema enchilada and 2 carne asada tacos. The Queso Fundido was good, the Habanero Crema enchiladas were good but the carne asada tacos were so dry and hard we had to get salsa to put it on it. They were out of silverware so we got plastic forks and knives. We ordered waters with our beer which we never got, The waitress was by herself waiting on 3 tables and taking orders to go. We did mention it to the waitress and she was very apologetic and said their regular chef was not there today. Our bill came out to $78 which we felt was not worth it. Needless to say, we will not be going back!

Good service. Only one server. When for dinner Friday night and the place was not busy. Got the tacos locos and fish and shrimp tacos. Very good and plenty of food. Got also a margarita. It was an already made mix but it was good. We will be back.

I went to pick up an order of tinga chicken tacos, kids chicken tacos, chicken tostada, pastor tacos and chicken soup. When I got home I looked in the bag and the soup wasn’t there, the chicken tacos were VERY under seasoned, the red sauce tasted like nothing, the tostadas were mushy and I picked up the order 2 minutes after it was ready, and the pastor tacos were under seasoned as well, the kids meal brings a side of rice and beans, they just threw the tacos on top of the beans and rice and I know they didn’t move on the way home because I had them secure overall the food was distasteful.

Uncommon, deceptive auto tipping. Table of 3, 20% gratuity was automatically added to the check. Not seeing this at first, we added a cash tip as well. I rarely see this. Be more aware here. On top of that, we all agreed the tacos were not great. Very little flavor and dry.

Super disappointed, dissatisfied I just went in and they are not taking orders just like that. Is not even near closing time. This was my fist and last time.

Consistently decent food which is more than I can say for most of the restaurants in California city where it's always a hit and miss. She is very quick and it seems to be made to order with fresh ingredients. Recommend a breakfast burrito or the burrito supreme. They are my go to orders. The only negative is no seating or shade. She parks next to Friends tires in Aspen mall. It's pretty convenient.

Great food. Small place with great atmosphere. The chicken tortilla soup is fresh and delicious

Not only is this place over priced but, no one answers the phone when trying to call. I walked in thinking it was probably because it was busy but when I walked in they had only one customer. I called about 06 times and nothing. You guys need to hire an additional worker if there is no one to answer phone calls at the restaurant .

Pretty disappointing in every aspect. Came in for taco Tuesday. We started off with the mini nachos which were fairly tasteless. The meat was cold but the queso was burning hot. They had obviously been thrown on a plate together and microwaved. We tried all of the tacos on the taco Tuesday menu and each one was unimpressive. The flavor was bland and the meat was dry. The meat appears to just be boiled and seasoned after cooking. Onions and cilantro were not well chopped. Salsas were lacking flavor. The margaritas were obviously from a bottle and were actually “wine cocktails” instead of tequila. I had higher hopes but sadly will not be returning.

The food here is incredible. It’s my favorite Mexican food in the area. It was actually recommended by a close Mexican friend who said this was authentic. And it did not disappoint. The downfall is I always order online and the food is never ready when I get there to pick up. Ever. Literally, not one time I have arrived at the scheduled pick up time and it was ready. Not even once. I always have to wait like 20-30 minutes extra for the food, which defeats the purpose of taking out. For that I eat in the restaurant. Plus the staff isn’t very friendly or communicative. So long story short, food is great, service not so much.

I've never been disappointed here. Used to be Omar's taco shack or whatever but still same menu and quality. They made very well made margaritas and do specials like taco Tuesday. I've dined inside and take out. Best thing is they bring food out faster than any restaurant I seen. Very polite people who are fluent in Spanish as well. My favorite is the burrito with the white cheese. Their world famous one.

No frills kind of place, quick eats or sit down with a beer or wine with your meal , enjoyed the fish tacos with chips .

  • 1/5 Paul B. 2 years ago on Google
Food would have been good for someone who likes their food cold. The only item remotely warm was the rice. It was like our food was left out to warm to room temperature after being in the cooler. Literally no warmth to our food at all. Probably won't be back. Like most restaurants they cater to food delivery who takes 50% of their profits over actual diners in the restaurant. Good luck staying open.

I used to love this place but recently the quality has declined. Today, the experience was even worse since I found a hair in my burrito!! Not even a short hair, it was a long brown hair sticking out of the food! Extremely gross…. Additionally, the food was lacking flavor, the meat was tough and it was missing seasoning. Overall not a good experience, will not be returning.
