The food was really good , we had fried rice , ceviche and fettuccine on a green sauce. It was a little pricey but they give you a lot of food .

It is Wednesday, middle of the day... I decided to take my family of 4 (two small kids, ages 5 and 8 and my wife) to lunch as it was my day off. We have been at Cebiche-Bar several times before, but this place is rapidly getting worse by each visit. Today's incident took us overboard and we will never go there back again. Here is how it all came down... 1. Hostess was young and rather rude. She approached us in Spanish and when I asked if she spoke English, she gave us an attitude immediately. Be ready to be treated as a "second class" citizen unless your Spanish is fluent. 2. There were 7 available tables at the time and 2 of them were set for 5 people. We were told that since we are party of 4, we cannot sit at the tables that were set for 5. At the same time, all tables for 4 were taken by the parties of 2 or 3 which made no sense. When I pointed that out, the young hostess was getting even more agitated by our presence and questioning her authority. She did everything in her power to make us unwelcome and send us home, so we left. 3. Since my wife and I ate there last week, we took pictures of the metal baking pans dishware that the food was served in, see below. It was filthy dirty and chipped pieces were exposing the metal underneath it. Food was pretty good though but we struggled with English again as our waitress spoke NONE. Manager is also NEVER there to raise any concerns. 4. The restaurant automatically adds 18% gratuity to any check, like it or not. If you not happy with a service or food, just too bad, you are out of luck as your English is not going to be of much help to voice your concern. 5. I suggest you bring your own sanitizer as none are offered or available. In addition, tables and seats ARE NOT being sanitized or disinfected upon patrons’ departure as we stood there for 10 minutes and saw how poor cleaning occurred between the turnovers. *** Summary: Food quality and temperature is good for the most part, even though salty at times. Dishware is horrible, unpractical, oversized, and dirty looking. Service is atrocious most of the time unless you speak Spanish. Hostess leaves a lot to be desired and needs to go back to hospitality training. But during pandemic, in our opinion, cleanliness and disinfection is as equally important and that was a huge letdown as that was none-existent. *** UPDATE - 1 DAY LATER *** Response from the owner that is NEVER at his restaurant nor he mentioned his name, was as anticipated - subjective, combative, with unwelcoming tone and utterly untrue. We stand behind the statements above. Restaurant was not sanitized after several tables were cleared. Hostess showed attitude towards our lack of Spanish. Restaurant had 7 tables available at the time and turning away a family with 2 small kids could and should have been handled differently altogether. We are not sure how exactly they have received all of the positive reviews but time will tell. We surely will never go back there again and we will make others aware of their true "customer service". Unfortunate experience and poor service from the top down.

Small Peruvian restaurant that we visited several times but actually never had a time to submit the review . I have to say that owner renovate the restaurant and now it looks much nicer and very clean. Service is excellent and staff is very pleasant. They try their best to please and serve the guests …. Great job by everybody … food was served in 10 min… which is great and I can see that ingredients are fresh. Taste of food and every single dish was absolutely fantastic and the most important taste like real and authentic Peruvian food . Manager is lovely young guy very observing and taking care of the The restaurant like is his own… Diana , server was absolutely fantastic. Also all the respect and compliments to the Chef and his team who is contributing the most in this lovely small restaurant …. Recommend to everybody to stop by and enjoy real and authentic Peruvian food…. Thanks

Wow! Can I end the review with that? Very clean restaurant with excellent service and staff. The menu has nothing but enticing pictures that makes a dish selection very difficult. Healthy and lean is not hard to get. Fair prices and a great atmosphere. Make sure to order Inca cola for a drink. I will definitely be back!

I had dinner for the first time at this place while I waited to pick up my daughter at the airport. It was delicious and the service was outstanding. Causa is my favorite Peruvian dish. I got my daughter Beef Chaufa and it was spectacular. Definitely will be visiting that place again

This is Peruvian food with an upscale twist! The presentation is beautiful and every time I try something new, it doesn’t fail to be absolutely delicious. I loveeee the pescado a lo macho *chefs kiss*. The anticuchos are the best I’ve ever had for sure. The ceviche is great, too! The food always comes out very fresh. Very nice atmosphere and good service. Can’t wait to go back and get the pescado a lo macho again 😋

This is truly a place to visit. Everything is amazing. Including the stuffed avocado. You can stuff it with chicken, tuna shrimp and a few other choices. The ceviche is great and desserts are great too. No wonder they received the award at the taste of pines ...

Excellent food! Ceviche was the best I ever had. The ceviche trilogy was awesome, a great date night meal as it is enough for two. The shrimp topped Tostones were too die for. The excellent service of our waiter Will matched the deliciousness of the food. He was attentive and friendly. Never forgot about us even though we were the only ones sitting outside. We'll be back soon, that's for sure!

Delicious food. And they have Picarones (Peruvian donuts) which are extremely hard to find. They also have the typical Peruvian breakfast dish, pan con chicharron! I was very happy to have found this place. I will be coming back.

This is our favorite Peruvian spot. From the pisco sour (available by glass or pitcher) to the ceviche, lomo saltado, and pescado a lo macho.. it all hits the spot! We drive 20 minutes to get here and it’s worth it every time.

Great service. My 1st time trying Cebiche or Peruvian food in general. I explained my allergy to crustaceans and they had the patience to prepare everything separate. Server was polite. I believe this photo I'm posting is Pargo Frito Entero. I also tried the beer Cusqueña and really liked it. I forgot to photograph the ceviche I ordered, but for my taste I recommend it spicy if you're used to spicy food. As it was my 1st time with this food type, I didn't know ceviche is raw fish like they do with sushi. Although I prefer all my food cooked, I liked it.

Live music from the one man band was fantastic. He was the life of the room. Pisco passion fruit was delicious. The chicken causa was a big size and tasty. I got the corvina and shrimp mix ceviche which was also a good size (shareable), it did have a few chewy pieces and bone but fair. They also had screens displaying the games.

Cebiche Bar is awesome. The vibe inside is pretty laid back and modern with great service. The food was great. We had the mango avocado ceviche and snapper. I recommend the ceviche. The ceviche was spicy and bright. The fish was huge and full of flavor.

You will feel like a long lost friend coming home for the first time after years of being apart. At least that's how I felt the first time here. GianCarlo, and his family of hospitable servers are truly here to serve. Must try whatever they suggest. The "purple drink" with star anise & cinnamon is both refreshing and addictive 💜!!! (Don't say I didn't warn you. We had the ceviche triple-play (trio). With shrimp and cordova. Also the Chaufa de Marisco (seafood fried rice). It was served very quickly, very fresh and delicious. Everything you want in authentic Peruvian dishes +++ plus ➕ the service with genuine joy in everyone's faces. Seating was amenable for 2 to as many as 12 (as I could see the banquette accommodating a large party). Loved the vibe, the aromas from the kitchen, and the overall experience. Lastly, the bathrooms belong in architectural digest. Will be back for certain!! #LocalGem #GoodEats #theresthatfoodie #Peruvian
