Another great bakery for a quick bite. They also have seating areas for lunch. Most of the time I am grab and go. Staff was pleasant, my choices included pan de bono and Empanadas... delicious and quick. Wish I had more time to order a meal.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review. If you want authentic Colombian food, natural juices, awesome bakery/pastries/bread, and amazing customer service, this is your place. The ingredients are fresh, portions are nice and big, pricing is excellent, the place is clean including the restrooms. Jorge, the owner makes sure his clients are happy and even goes to your table to make sure you are having a good experience. Believe me, there is no bad dish. Everything is delicious here!!!!!! The food doesn't take long to come out and the servers are very nice. It was recently remodeled, giving it an overall nice, modern, and clean feel. Their menus are easy to read, with plenty of options, including a healthy menu page full of delicious guilty free food! There is plenty of parking space and it is easy to get there. They offer a cantina service as well as cargo and money transfer to Venezuela and Colombia. Come ready to enjoy awesome food, great conversations, while listening to a good variety of music in the background.

Drive a minute down the road, there is better service and food. I got a frozen salad, literally I took a bite of the tomato & it was frozen hard, and no dressing! I ordered grilled chicken which serving looked like they ran out and cut half out to share my portion with someone else & the way it was served, kinda looked like someone’s left over. The waitress never came to check on me. (I go to Colombian restaurants like 2X a week and wanted to try this one, there’s 7 on Pines blvd, this one was by far the most disappointing, no complaints on the others).

The worst empanadas in the 33028. I’ve also never had pan de bono that was cold. The young lady that works the front with the glasses will just lie to your face that they aren’t the EXTREMELY OLD ones displayed in the front but THEY ARE. Check the date for who worked today at 6:10PM. This place use to be decent what happened? Order : 5 empanadas 2 pan de bono 2 postobon

PRICE GOUGING!!!! The menu stated that the Sancocho was $15 and some change but when I got the bill they charged me almost $20 for the Sancocho. I pointed out the discrepancy to the waitress and she told me that costs went up. First of all is ILLEGAL to charge a higher price than what your menu states. I unfortunately was not thinking clearly and did not keep the receipt so I can report them to the authorities. Also, she charged me a 25% tip. TIPS are optional!!! I will not go back and support these crooks!!!!

I went there today. There was a line the guy seating people looked at my wife and I several time. He was slow seating people then a couple came in and sat at a table. I told him we had been waiting and he said you are next. He did nothing or said nothing to the couple or the party if 3 that was in front of us. We are next is not an excuse or the right response. I have family that lives there and friends as well. He just lost some nice business. I won’t go there even if it was free. Just finished a meal at El Balcón De Las Americans. Better ambiance and the food was delicious. Para la gente Hispana no vallan a este lugar.

I liked the restaurant before COVID. I returned, but I don’t like now. You have to do a line to order and then you can sit down. The line was long and I had to wait so long. It is Colombian food, but service is not Colombian style. It is sad.

I have been going to this place for years. Even though they’ve always been more expensive than most the food was good and the service was good. Ever since Covid they have started accepting pick up orders regularly to where they have a set up for it. The problem is if you’re waiting on line and someone from pick up comes they stop everything they are doing and only take care of the pick up orders if you are waiting on line you better hope nobody else comes in for pick up because they will not take care of you until the pick up line is done. On top of that they are now charging you an extra $1 just to use your credit card. That’s a huge mark up when the card company charges you 1.5 to 3.5% at the most for every transaction so for every $5 you spend at there establishment they are making an extra 93 cents per transaction that is going in there greedy pockets. I will not be going back to get robbed by a greedy owner. I attached the sign they have up about charging $1 for every card transaction.

Why in this place the include the tip on the check? The tip is something that is according with the service that you receive , on a normal place they will charge 20% tip if is more than 6 people on the table, but here with Two people they put a tip of 20% without asking the customer, the excuse is that 40 dollars invoice, this very typical in this place the have to remember that they are not in Colombia they are here IN USA.

Was in Pembroke Pines for work for three days. Went for breakfast all green days. It took me back to m as as a kid in Medellin with my father. Great memories that it brought me from the wonderful Colombian ambiance. Food was great and they carry authentic Colombian products. The ladies were absolutely wonderful also.

Legit and well established Colombian restaurant/cafeteria. Friendly staff and great food. The empanadas are good and tasty, but often a little overcooked. Prices have gone up drastically since they first opened. It’s almost too expensive now to go on a regular basis, but so are most places.

Food too salted and there is a cheap vive on this business. Very controlling on napkins and even with the sugar packages that they put on the table!!!! I don’t want to imagine how they are back in the kitchen with the ingredients. There are so many more options in the area with similar menu, so no need to come back to this place.

Very good and delicious food. The Bandeja Paisa is great. Service is awesome, as soon as you sit down they take care of you and the food is ready and at the table in a matter of minutes and it's fresh and hot. They also have a bakery side with some good pastries and stuff. I recommend it if you want something fast and delicious. 👍

The most horrible enpanadas ordered chicken and beef 90 percent potato and 10 percent chicken or beef whole fish not golden brown .the owners are only care of profits. I don't recommend this place. Excellent service.

Great food but the overall experience ruined by poor business practices. We've eaten here before over the years and didn't see these charges. First, again I'll say the food was excellent but what is the deal with adding 18% gratuity automatically?? That should be the choice of the customer to reward for great service and not the restaurant to dictate! Aside from that, the addition of a "convenience fee" if you pay with a credit card? Really? That's a cost of doing business and passing it on "silently" AFTER you hand over a credit card and get an updated bill with the fee "tacked" on feels sneaky. Improve your business practices and you'll get 5 stars.

It’s a good place to have a taste of what food from Antioquia tastes like. The chicharrón was amazing and everything else was tasty too. The only reason why I didn’t give a 5 star review is because I’m from Medellin and of course it’s not exactly the same as the original! But honestly, it’s a place you need to visit!

The service was excellent. The girl was very attentive. I wanted to try the most asked about appetizers bought two or three different empanadas, and what they’re famous for.Chicharon I’ve tried it in other spots. Here was a little flavorless and dry. They still deserve five stars. They sharing a spot with something else, which is a bit confusing, but the effort is there.

First time eating here. I had my favorite, the ajiaco soup. Even though it lacked on the protein, it was really good. And the customer service was adequate. I will be returning to try other dishes.

I hate this. I asked for a beef empanada, not for a potato empanada. There is no beef in my empanada, more potato than beef! 🤬

1st time visiting this cafeteria,,customer service is outstanding, food freshly made there and the coffee is amaizing,,we had what is called Huevos Pericos, which is scrambled eggs with veggies, pan de bono which is delish and placed an order of this bread filled with cream cheese and guava to bring to our family in SC,,,needless to say is absolutely delicious specially with coffee. Thank you for bringing such delite from your beautiful Colombia for us to enjoy here. Have a Blessed Day.

The tripe soup was barely warm, watery and had two or three tiny pieces of tripe. The beef covered in a weird creamy tasteless sauce was terrible. The corn patties were tough. The beef soup was also watery, lacked flavor and hardly had any beef. The only tasty thing was the pan bono. We were VERY disappointed and would think twice about returning to this restaurant.

The food was great. Que delicias. Fried yuca was delicious. They look like motzarella sticks. The New York style churrasco was big. Look at the pic.
