This is going to be the shortest review I have ever written. Probably because there’s nothing positive to say about this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, we had to ask for water twice! We ordered fried shrimp rice, fried crab rangoon, gyozas, and “roasted pork” overall the food was tasteless, greasy, and not fresh! We all got food poisoning after the meal! China Pavilion has a lot of reviews mainly for their dim sum but after this experience, I seriously doubt I would try it again. If you are looking to try this place, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! Don't even think about it! Only one star because the place was clean 🫥

One of the few choices for dim sum in the area. Overall very good, dome dishes could be improved, the place is always full but waiting times are pretty fast. Service is really good, it's definitely my go to for din sum. Better then the one in sunrise. Will always repeat. The menu is great, they give you the list and pictures. Which is good especially if it's your first time.

While visiting the area we were craving a peking duck lunch and decided to try China Pavillion. We entered a busy restaurant at about 2pm and wait was only about 10 mins. Our server was awesome, took great care of us. Food was fantastic. The peking duck was a good size $55 we had duck fried rice for the 2nd course. Spring Rolls were delicious. Absolutely delicious food, legitimate Chinese food. I'm an Australian and we're spoiled w the Chinese food. For Florida you can't go wrong with China Pavillion. I'll be back 100%. We had loads to take home. Looking forward to the leftovers ❤️🍒

Cheap, delicious, and fast. Food must be eaten in the restaurant since most fried dishes get soggy when you put it into a container for take out. Good flavor profile. If you are Chinese then you can order off menu if you know what to ask for. I particularly like the wonton noodles but not a fan of the shrimp wonton since my mom makes it with pork and shrimp. Their shrimp egg scramble is super soft and tasty, it is very hard not to overcook scramble eggs. Not many authentic dim sum restaurants in South Florida so this is as close as I have found so far. Real Chinese dim sum is mostly steam items and stir fried noodles. If it is mostly fried stuff then the menu is mostly for “tourist” diners who like egg rolls, fried rice, and ribs. They are currently closed on Thursday so plan your trip accordingly. Dim sum is good and so is their lunch and dinner items ( I have only tried the real Chinese staples so can’t comment on the Americanized items on the menu). They are legit on freshness of most seafood dishes since they have the items swimming in a tank but sometimes they do use lobster from frozen purchases which my mom can pick up and will complain to management for a replacement. I am not very knowledgeable in this regard so I wouldn’t know fresh from frozen. The Dim sum bakery items are usually delicious but recently they have been short staffed due to the pandemic so some items sell out fast like the pork buns or sometimes don’t seem fresh like the egg tarts. So best way is to go early on Sunday to get the freshest stuff. If you show up at 10am on Sunday you can get first seating otherwise be prepared to wait at least an hour since it is their busiest day of the week. Some items you can only get on Sunday like their pineapple bun, which has actual pineapple filling (most places only garnish top and have no filling inside), which is delicious if you never had it. There is so much to try, it takes a few visits to get a sense of it all. They usually open at 11 am except for Sunday.

FYI first time eating from here. I chose carry out. At pick up the cashier never even made eye contact however somehow she knew I was there. I paid and waited, no one even told me my food was sitting on a table just feet away. Good: egg roll didn’t look like much however was crunchy and the flavor was nice. Ordered the Orange peal chicken combo. Even with the breading and sauce the meat was tough. The portion was small and I still opted to throw half away. The chicken was def re-purposed after dying on a junior high school cafeteria steam table somewhere. Wanton soup: 1/2 cup of soup if that, well that’s all there is to say about the soup. Gave 2 stars because it was only 1 1/2 miles away so at least I didn’t have to drive far for.. well .. “this”

I’ve been to a lot of dim sum places in the US. This place is the real deal. Every time I go to a spot, one of my favorite dishes always fails spectacularly, but every one of my dishes was a hit this time. I had the veal too but enjoyed it too fast to get a photo 😅

The dim sum dishes are authentic, delicious with generous portion. I usually order six items so I can have a variety of tidbits. The rest I take home. The place reaches full capacity within one hour from opening so if you can’t get there on opening then go later to avoid the crowds. My favorites are shown in photos. Service is prompt and dim sum is very good, top quality.

Had a really bad dining experience. We were in the area and wanted Chinese, I remember this place from years ago. We had to send 3 things back! Chicken wings were so overly friend it was all breading, no chicken. The egg roll was so so greasy and overly fried as well. Asked for the broccoli to be well done it came out not even cooked and cold. The only thing that was good was the friend rice, not much you can do wrong there. The wait staff was so unfriendly in top of it. There were little ants/bugs crawling on our table and booth. The place was very grimy and just gross, will not be back .

We went for an early dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered some Chinese beers that were served ice cold and accompanied with frozen mugs. I started with chicken corn soup and my wife had shrimp dumpling with noodles. They were family sized and both very good. We then ordered snow pea tips, beef chow fun and salt and pepper seafood. The beef chow fun and snow pea tips werevreally good the seafood was just ok. The reason we visited this is because someone recommended this restaurant as having very good dimsum. Unfortunately we arrived too late and missed dimsum. We plan to try it again for the dimsum.

Love love love this place. I have been going to this place for over 10 years. Real Authentic Chinese food. You always see a lot of Asians dining here which tells me they're doing something right. This time I had their pork belly with preserved vegetables and eggplant in garlic sauce. I've also had the beef with bitter gourd which is just amazing. The steamed chicken is served with a ginger scallion sauce on the side. Yummy. Always on point. They also offer dim sum and Chifa(Peruvian Chinese)

Great service, food, and ambiance. The dim sum was fresh and super yummy. The sesame balls were a favorite along with the steamed pork buns and steamed shrimp dumplings.

The food is consistently good. Comfortable atmosphere.. sometimes after they have brought out all of your food they forget about you but there are plenty of staff and getting someones attention isn't difficult. I go here frequently and it's always a yummy and good time!!

I've had my fair share of dim sum experiences across South Florida, but this place truly takes the cake. Hands down, the best dim sum I've ever had in the region. It's no surprise they've been serving the community for years, given the consistently high quality of their dishes. Beyond the food, the customer service here is commendable. Every visit feels like a warm welcome, with the staff ensuring you have a delightful experience. If you're a dim sum aficionado or even a newbie wanting to dive into the flavors, this is the place to be. A quintessential South Florida gem. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Omg !!! I have died and gone to heaven. I just wanted something simple this evening because it’s late but I will be back soon because this is as authentic as you can get. The Peruvian Chifa menu is the bonus .

If you like Chinese breakfast or dim sum, this is the right place for you, fresh and plenty of variety. Family friendly, plenty of free parking space. Arrive early. Otherwise, be ready to wait for a good amount of time. Strongly recommend by @soIsayIcancook and the @Aventure.dos

My grandmother and I love coming here. The food is good and you get so much we can bring home for my husband. We always go for an early dinner/late lunch. There's not a wait to be seated at that time. The food comes out hot and fresh.

Ate the food from here a month or so prior and it was good. So, today I decided to order again. I really messed up there cause they are not consistent. The special fried rice I ordered tasted off, but I was hungry and I told myself they probably used too much soy or something. Anyway, I realized as I was eating it was the chicken. By the time I got that down I was throwing everything up. Told my kid to stop eating as I called the restaurant. Apparently, they don't give refunds and I definitely don't want to eat any more fried rice from there. So, I just tossed $40 in the trash. The rice was $20, but the lady on the phone said they used the same chicken in my lo mien. Really thought I found a good Chinese restaurant. Anyway, Its July 15, 2022 so, if you're about to get anything chicken taste and smell before you pay. Otherwise they won't refund your money.

3.8/5 We came here for the dumplings after seeing the reviews and pictures but were bummed to find out that the dumplings are only served during lunch service. Overall the food was good but nothing out of the ordinary from other Chinese restaurants. The service could definitely improve. I guess we will have to return to see if the dumplings are worth returning.

Good dimsum for a great price. The service can be slow, so I suggest ordering the buns / any dessert style food separately and after you order your savory / main course items since they come out faster. A great place to try dimsum if you're wary or haven't had any before. Try to come as early as possible because it's always packed. They have a menu with pictures for their popular items. You can also do delivery or take out. The pork BBQ buns and pineapple buns are my favorite. Super soft delicate dough, just enough sweetness to compliement the savory. Melts in your mouth. I always get extra for take out to eat at home when I get hungry again.
