Hubby
and
I
had
been
wanting
to
try
this
restaurant
for
a
while.
I
can
truly
say
that
I
will
never
go
back.
First,
the
service
was
horrible.
The
hostess
sat
us
down
and
the
waitress
didn't
come
to
check
on
us
until
20
minutes
later.
We
ordered
a
bucket
of
beer,
a
chicharron
appetizer,
and
a
glass
of
water
with
lemon.
We
got
the
beer
and
placed
our
dinner
order.
Hubby
got
the
Mar
y
Tierra
for
$35,
mom
got
the
pargo
a
la
criolla
for
$25,
and
I
got
the
chimi
sliders
for
$16.
The
chicharron
appetizer
came
out
and
was
placed
on
our
table.
We
had
NO
silverware
and
no
plates.
Meanwhile
the
waitress
was
MIA.
I
had
to
get
up
from
my
table
to
go
look
for
her
to
ask
for
silverware
and
napkins.
After
a
while
we
got
our
food
order.
I
had
to
ask
for
the
water
again
since
she
had
forgotten
about
it.
The
Mar
y
Tierra
was
very
good.
It
was
the
best
meal
of
the
night.
My
mom's
fish
was
a
joke.
She
didn't
even
get
a
whole
fillet.
It
was
broken
into
pieces.
The
flavor
was
also
very
fishy.
I
wanted
to
send
it
back
but
she
refused
as
she
was
afraid
of
retaliation
from
the
kitchen.
The
mofongo
was
also
very
dry
and
was
not
served
with
a
broth
to
dip
it
into.
Ughhh
After
almost
20
minutes
my
sliders
finally
came
out
(just
as
I
was
about
to
cancel
them).
The
sliders
were
horrible.
The
meat
was
overcooked
and
did
not
taste
good.
The
toston
portion
was
drenched
in
oil,
as
is
the
oil
they
were
cooked
in
was
not
hot
enough.
Overall
this
restaurant
experience
was
negative
for
me,
aside
from
the
Mar
&
Tierra,
which
I
say
again
was
very
good.
The
service
was
slow
and
inattentive.
Plus,
the
restaurant
itself
was
so
noisy.
I
do
not
recommend
this
restaurant
at
all.
