I went here for my birthday and had an amazing time! We did the Escape Your Nightmares room and it was probably the most interactive Escape Room I've ever done. The puzzles made sense, and were challenging but nothing too extreme. Not to mention there were actually some pretty solid and clever scares! The owner is extremely passionate about what he does and very much puts all of his heart and creativity into his rooms. Can't wait to recommend my friends and would love to come back again!

What a fantastic experience, the reviews are 100% true. My family and I did the cryptic cay room that is set up to be a deserted island crash landing sort of scenario. The first room actually had sand completely covering the floor for an authentic feel. The clues are aren't too hard but aren't too easy either, we only got stuck a couple times and were able to make it out with 14 minutes to spare! The best part of this whole experience is how accommodating the owners are about rescheduling and credits. We originally booked for Father's Day 2021 but our grandfather died that day so we had to cancel. Getting a future credit was so easy that I didn't even have to call them when booking 7 months later because there wasn't an expiration! Then 1 person from our group couldn't make it and we just assumed we would eat that money since but without even asking we were told that we'd be getting a future credit for the 1 person who couldn't attend! We will be back here specifically because of the amazing customer service. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!!

Made a trip down to Miami for a visit to see friends and we all came here. You must have an appointment and they are easy to make online through their website. I found them to be fairly priced, even with a group of 4. We showed up about 20 minutes early and there was comfortable seating while we filled out forms and waited. The staff was extremely friendly. We opted for the Nightmares room. Great if you like spooky things. I look forward to visiting again, thank you!

I have done many escape rooms in the past, all over the world! Somehow, this one is hard wired in my brain. It wasn't just the people I went with but also the way the room was setup! Random plan to go to the Horror Theme! and OH MY GOD!! It was worth it. Beautiful setup, Amazing Props, Challenging Clues, Super Interactive and left us with things to talk about forever. Thanks Lynn for this wonderful experience and making it super special for us. Will book Polly's next.

Fantastic escape rooms! Played all three rooms and they were all amazing in their own way! Very creative puzzles that we’ve never seen before. Owner truly enjoys creating memorable games. Highly recommended for a good time and laugh.

We arrived late for our reservation (which I obviously do not recommend). My friend called to let them know we were running a few min late. When we got there, we were greeted by Lin and he gave us the breakdown. We had to wait for everyone in our party to arrive, which is standard and understandable. He was clear on our modified time since we were late. I really appreciated how professional he was since we were late- didn't seem frustrated, bothered, or rude. Amazing customer service. The room we did (Cryptic Cay) was also very fun!

My friends and I booked a last minute escape room for a birthday today and we’re so glad we did! It was our first escape room experience for all of us, and it was a fun and hilarious challenge! We did the Cryptic Cay room first, which was more serious and a bigger challenge, and then the 18+ Polly’s Predicament room which had us all in stitches with laughter as we worked through it. The rooms were different sizes, very different vibes, and each room had different types of locks and puzzles to figure out. We can’t wait to go back and try the third room, as we highly recommend the experience to anyone, whether you’ve done escape rooms before or not. The service was also top notch - really fantastic experience overall.

We celebrated a family get together a few weeks ago and decided to try our first escape room afterwards. Everyone loved the Cryptic Cay escape room and had a great time. Some of our party even came back to check out the other ones. I appreciated Lin's advice that we book for less people than we were expecting because people always cancelled early and he was right on. They were amazing game masters and greatly contributed to our team having a fun time.

Such an awesome time! Came here with my bachelor party and it did not disappoint. We had an amazing time, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we really appreciate the thought and creativity that went into creating the room. Probably the most high tech room I've ever played before. I was very impressed. If you're looking for a fun group activity, you can't go wrong here!

We did Polly's Problematic Predicament for those 18+. I haven't laughed so much in a room! This was a very new theme for us and it was very creative and fun! Unique puzzles and excellent Game Masters! We went with someone who really doesn't like escape rooms and he had a blast. Hope to be back again to do the other rooms.

I did a squad outing and let me tell you escape rooms are a great team building activity. We did cryptic cay and it was very unique. The room was fun and very well thought out. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. I definitely recommend coming here, I'll be back for the other rooms.

Our group surprised my sister for her birthday at Nexus. The staff was not only knowledgeable, but friendly and welcoming. Our entire party had an amazing time. The room we decided to take on was the 'Escape your Nightmares'. Highly recommend! The location is easy to locate, and there is plenty of parking available. If you're trying to choose which escape room place to try out - I encourage you to try Nexus. You're sure to have a blast!

I’ve done 150+ rooms and this was one of the best! The set design was phenomenal- like you’re in a movie. The puzzles all make sense and actually tie into the storyline of the game. There were little bits that happened throughout the game that made it feel like you were actually on a real mission. Cool tech but also some locks: a very good mix. Highly recommend!!!

This place was awesome. Friendly staff and the escape room we did was so much fun. I would recommend this location if you are looking to be challenged and an experience you will always remember. I also would recommend that you have a group of 4 or 5 people to get through the challenge.

We did Escape Your Nightmares and Polly's Problematic Predicament. Polly's is a VERY unique room that is sure to bring lots of laughs, a must do if visiting Miami. Lots of different tech used in all of the puzzles, some interesting stuff really 😜 EYN has a lot of jump scares but it wasn't really scary for us (3 adults) and it also has some interesting stuff to it. If you've done a lot of rooms, especially top ones you might want to skip this one, unless you just want to do as many as possible (like me) 🤣 Wish we could have played Cryptic Cay 🤯🤪

Such a fun experience! I went with a friend for the first time on saturday and this escape room is dedicated to making sure everyone has a good time. Unlimited hints, Super creative puzzles, and everything is thought up and executed by the owner. We truly had a blast and will definitely come back again :)

The puzzles were well crafted. There were a few nice practical components. The theme/aesthetic was well produced. The game master was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very good experience.

So much fun! What a clever unexpected room. Definitely adults only for Pollys. One of a kind room. Owner is on-site and creates all his own games and puzzles. Can't say enough fabulous things about Nexus Escape Rooms.

I have now done all 3 rooms at Nexus and can officially say that they have the best production value of any escape room place I've been to in South Florida. Every room is a wonder of engineering and the staff is incredibly passionate about their work.

We had a wonderful time at Nexus Escape Room! Not only were the rooms so much fun and challenging, the couple who owns Nexus Escape room are so accommodating and friendly!! We planned a group event here and would recommend it for any and everyone! Cryptic cay was the room we had and I had such an exciting time playing!

Is there a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day? We had an absolute BLAST at Nexus Escape Room in Pembroke Pines (South Florida). We tried the Polly's Problematic Predicament, a hilarious 18+ adult themed room, and the immersion and technology were fantastic. The owners were fantastic and we will be back for their other two rooms. Highly recommend for an amazing escape experience and lots of laughs.

The service was amazing, the rooms were designed with meticulous attention to detail, and we can’t wait to come back again soon to try out the third room! Highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to try an escape room for the first time, or who loves them and hasn’t been to these ones yet. Great experience!

If you’re looking for an escape room, this is by far the most amazing place. The owner does everything himself and everything is so interactive (not just codes and locks). The only thing I don’t like is that I have done every room and have no more to do :( .Trust me, look no further. I can talk about how it was but I don’t want to ruin anything. I’ve been to 30+ escape rooms and this is the best place I have ever been to. You will not regret choosing Nexus as your escape room. See you guys when there is another new room!

Love love love this place! I’ve done Cryptic Cay and Escape Your Nightmares, and both were great. I’ve done a lot of escape rooms, and these do not disappoint. The puzzles are interesting and a good level of difficulty, and the rooms are set up with care and innovation. Our host Lyn was amazing and made the experience that much better. The Nightmare room was fun, and we completed it with only 2 of us, although the scares definitely add a whole new aspect to the game. You get unlimited hints which is nice for when you get stuck. I can’t wait to come back and try the new one!

Absolutely loved this place!! Took a friend for her birthday with our boyfriends and the owner was extremely nice and the Polly room was an insane amount of fun! Amazing price, great staff, and all around just a great time. Will definitely be going back to do Cryptic Cay and Enter Your Nightmares!

This post is for those who are over the age of 18 and would like to experience a fun and very unique escape room in the city of Pembroke Pines. Our group experienced Polly's Problematic Predicament which includes a good mix of humor and challenging puzzles resulting in a grand surprise on the completion of the room. Overall, the room is not too difficult to complete with the help of the wonderful staff which allowed for us to enjoy our time at Nexus Escape Room. There are other rooms available that I will try in the future as well as recommend this place to people who are interested. We enjoyed our time at Nexus Escape Room and hope you do too!

Me and my friend went here and after playing many other escape rooms this one had to be the most fun and engaging one by far. We played the 18+ one and had so much fun and told our friends about it. Definitely will be returning the staff is amazing there!

I did Cryptic Cay with my family and it has been, hands down, the best escape room we’ve done. The props were unique with fun surprises, the puzzles clever, and there were enough clues to find that everyone was always searching. Plus they were able to make it extra special with a Father’s Day surprise at the end. I would highly recommend Nexus Escape Room for your next family activity.
