Upon arrival, we were asked to wait while they reset the room, no big deal, except we wasted quite a large chunk of time in the first room since it was not put together correctly. This was discovered when we kept asking for hints and our game master realized that the wrong locks were placed in the wrong spots. The clues did not tell a story so this was impossible for us to catch which just led to frustration. Once we figured out all the clues in the first half there was no clear indication that we were ready to move on to the second half, we had to confirm with our game master that we weren’t missing anything since nothing happened or told us to move forward. When we got to the second half of the room (again no storyline to follow) we realized how excessively dirty and dusty everything was, and I proceeded to have a sneezing fit (check the footage). There were small broken pieces of wood on the floor, and one of the clues was visibly broken and hanging from the wall. After the mix up in the first half we began overthinking if things were actually placed correctly for us or if we were stuck because it wasn’t put together right, which was impossible to figure out because again, the clues were sporadically placed with no storyline and no real indication of what comes next. My friends and I have done a bunch of escape rooms in the past and I’ve never had an experience like this. I would recommend going elsewhere if you want a real escape room experience.

This place is a scam. DO not book with them, they take your money and do not reply to your messages when you try and contact them. complete scam there are better escape rooms in the area anyways. Edit after owner response: Check again, you spelled my name wrong, and you may staff per booking, but the cancellation was done 6 minutes after booking, so you didn't even get to that point yet. Terrible customer service. And do not lie, I used your websites contact form with this issue and you never replied. You are a fraud of a company, and have made no attempt to rectify this situation other than try and antagonize on a google review. Your "clearly stated no refund policy" is also a lie, since someone would have to go digging in the website to find it. Its bad practice anyways. If you want the proof, I have the booking and cancellation confirmation dated 6 minutes apart, and sent it to my credit card company for dispute. If you don't want to refund no shows that's understandable, but there is no reason a person in my situation should not get their money back. Customer service is more important than your scam you call a policy, and had I just gotten the refund, I probably would have booked with you in the future since my family loves escape rooms, and have done many in the area. A voucher was never offered to me either.

Was a pretty cool place but girl upfront at counter did not seem very happy to be there and didn't seem like she was interested in helping with the experience of the escape room. We spent 20 minutes doing the right thing but the mechanism wasn't reading the chips

This is my first time visiting this escape room. When you enter you automatically feel welcomed and a little nervous. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a challenging room to escape from. I can’t wait to go to the other rooms.

We had an amazing experience. It was like a reality version of that great movie clue. The hostesses were awesome, they stayed in character and we had a great time.

Mythos is by far the best escape room you can get along with escape topia, mother knows exactly what she is doing with escape rooms and is very dedicated to her work. Team bussy completes the rooms in record times every time

New management! This place is really great now that there are new business owners. They're very invested in their rooms and turning this escape room business into something different and magical. If you haven't been here since it's been upgraded to mythos, gotta give it another shot!

My son celebrated his 16th Birthday at Mythos Escapes. He went with a total of 8 friends. They chose Kidnapped. As you enter the facility, it is a little spooky. The decorations match the theme of an old theatre. We were greeted by Mother, who is dressed in attire from the 18th century. She escorted the kids to the lounge. They hung out there till everyone arrived. Mother went over the rules as well as the setting of the room. The kids escaped with 2 minutes left. They had a great experience and had fun. The party room is set up nicely and it is a good place to have food cake, or snacks afterwards. The kids were very excited and talked about the clues and how they did. Absolutely a great time for the kids. I would definitely recommend this escape room. You are immersed from the moment you walk in until you leave.

Great date night! "Mother" is amazing, and though we had a slow start but managed our way through The Heist. We will absolutely go back for Kiddnapped! in the near future.

Very disappointing. We did the The Heist. The room was worn down, many things were detached from their original locations, posters were tattered and increasing was very poor. Lots of things didn't work, cables visible, things written in sharpie. Some tips and clues did not apply and caused additional distractions. Very kind staff though! However, for the experience, I do not recommend it in its current condition.

We loved the Heist room! Challenging but do-able. We truly enjoyed our experience. The host was super friendly and made us feel comfortable. Will definitely be back to do all the other rooms.

They cancelled my reservation because they couldnt staff the room, which was fine. However, after over a week i have not recieved my promised refund, and have made many attempts via phone and email to reach them regarding this and no one has answered or returned a single call or email. I am happy to remove this review if the issue is addressed and resolved within a timely manner of me posting this.

One star is too much. If I could give zero star I would. I booked my reservation on the 22nd of august for my birthday on the 27th they called me at 9:30 PM IN my bed to cancel my reservation. It’s been a week and they still haven’t sent my refund. This is not a real escape room it’s a place for fraud.

Took my 10yr old son for a mommy and son date night. He had never been to one and we had blast. Showed him we will always be a team. We laughed n struggled together. We left definitely wanting to come back to do another room. N bring friends.

absolutely amazing time! Summer helped us out and she did an amazing job explaining and when we did ask for clues, help us out! would 100% recommend coming to this one :)

The young lady that showed us the way was very nice and helpful. The problem is that the escape room itself was not setup correctly and some of the locks and mechanisms were not functioning correctly. The experience was very much flawed and we did not enjoy it as much.

Had so much fun from the moment we walked in! We transported to this whole different world. Our room Master was so kind and gave us great hints without giving it all away. Will probably be coming back to do the rest of the rooms!!

Mythos Escapes was such a cool and fun experience for my first time! The kidnapped room was scary but exciting to get through! Mother played her role so well and was so helpful whenever we got stuck on any puzzles. I can’t recommend this place enough and I can’t wait to go back! :)

Many things were broken and the puzzles were poorly laid out and often difficult to distinguish visually. The staff was very kind and professional, but I would not recommend this particular escape room to anyone.

Very easy to make reservations. I had to reschedule and they gave me my options. My family and I enjoyed the Heist!

This escape room is very fun. The rooms definitely give your brain a workout and the guy in the front, Kay, is super nice and very helpful. If you get stuck in a room he will give you a hint without giving you the answer. Super easy going dude and super chill place. Would recommend everybody to try this place out. And it's not as expensive as other escape rooms.

The One 2 was an all around great experience. I took my 3 girls and my husband on a Friday night and had an awesome time with the quarantine escape room. Their attention to detail is what sets this place apart from others. But what makes me recommend The One 2 is the kindness and great attitude that we were attended with. This family owned business is an asset to our community!

We did the quarantine themed room - it was two of us (one having not done an escape room before) and we escaped with 4:30 left. We got three hints, which were very helpful. Very clever design and great theming. I really liked this spot and hope to come back and try another room!

We are obsessed with escape rooms and have done quite a few. We absolutely loved The Heist and missed tying the record by 3 minutes! To make it even more fun we all wore our cowboy boots & hats! The rooms were clean and the clues were super fun. We highly recommend The One 2 Escape.

Amazing birthday for my 13 years old daughter! She took 12 kids with her and they accommodated them perfectly.! Super nice experience. They loved it!

Good puzzles, nice hostess. The room could use some updating and refurbishment. We did The Heist which was fun but the final puzzle didn't work and didn't provide us a way to escape (even though we did it correctly) which is really the whole point of the game.

Super cool place to go and have fun with family and friends! We came here for the first time and it was awesome! This place is a great tool to exercise your brain and to enjoy working together with your family,friends, spouse or fiancé trying to solve the clues to get out of the room where you are trapped in. If someone wants to start there experience with escape rooms than this is where to start. I went with my parents and we did the heist and it was fun definitely one to start your journey some twist and turns but nothing but fun and laughter the whole way through. After that challange yourself to the upgraded rooms and enjoy your time. Btw the host Summer was very helpful and i can't be more pleased as a customer Can't wait to go do the other ones

While we’ve done our share of escape rooms, and can understand that some are better than others, the Heist experience was a bit underwhelming. Unfortunately the staff left out key items as we were solving the puzzles. This caused a lot of frustration for our group. While we still finished early, we wanted to truly solve the puzzles and not guess at the solutions. The staff are super great, the place is clean and they are trying hard, but just wish that there had been more attention to detail when re-setting the room for the next guest. Mediocre experience.
