We went to Jungle Island on the free promotional ticket they offered to locals. While the park is clean and we enjoyed getting out of the house, it was just okay. The animals are in entirely too small cages and forced to interact with guests that pay $85 to pet them. The park focuses more on its treetop trek than having an interesting zoo. We didn't do the treetop trek. It's shaded with a stunning banyan tree. Overall an okay experience for free, but I would pay to go again.

We grabbed the FREE admission for the day because we're looking for free activities these summer days. I was excited to see we could go in and walk around for free. Apparently, it costs to do the tree top playground pictured, but we somehow got in without having to pay. Oopsie! Kids loved it but it probably wasn't worth $10 a kid. Enjoyed the little show and all the parrots 🦜 stationed close up all over the gardens. My kids had a fun time exploring.

I like my experience here. We had a VIP tour with flamingo, the tour include opportunity to feed the flamingo. It was really nice emotion. When they come to you and eating from your hands it's wonderful. A guide told us many interesting facts about this pretty birds. This trip worth money wich we paid. It's not cheap - 55 dollars per person. After feeding you can walk around the park. It's not big, but you can see beautiful parrots who says hello, some monkeys , lemurs, huge Tortugas and kangaroos.

$50 for a ticket and half of the place is under construction or closed? It's like a cool night club that happens to be a letting zoo during the day. Also, half the staff is friendly and nice, and the other half are sick if their job.and don't want to be helpful.

$10 per adult is a good value for what is offered. We had a layover, so took a taxi to/from the airport which can be pricey. Spent hours looking at the birds. It's great to see families enjoying the animals and playground. Kids were having so much fun. Great to see them playing and not on their phones.

Would be a 2 star review, it's only 3 stars because it was free to enter (15 dollars for parking). Unfortunately, it's not the same place it was in 2019. It's clean, but there is much less to see. Food selection was very slim and we threw away most of what we bought because it tasted off. The Tree trekking is probably the only reason to go. It cost 48 dollars to go on their playground (which is nice), but pricey for one kid to go on the playground. Possibly worth it if you have 9yo kids that like to climb. They're in the middle of a remodel, so perhaps things will get better. As of right now, all the things to do in the park cost extra. 5 - 10 dollars typically for games, the rope course with zip line didn't have it's prices posted.

This is the most expensive of the Miami winter light experiences. Don't forget there's also a $15 parking fee on top of the ticket fee! You'll spend about an hour walking around and there is an interesting circus show at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. that lasts about 30 minutes. It's about a 2-hour experience. On the plus side the entire park is covered with lights and lantern themed decorations. It was very impressive but it's a $20 ticket not a $35 experience. Don't forget beer is going to cost you $15 in the mixed drink is going to be $20 once you are inside.

It was OK I guess. Limited number of animals, mainly macaws and parrots. Older enclosures with some open air exhibits too. They had alot of playgrounds for the kids. The animal show was decent. One small food venue and some vending machines. Then as your leaving you have to pay $15.00 for parking?!? I was only there for 2 or 3 hrs. Save your time and money and go to the zoo...

Fantastic experience! I was really torn between 4 and 5 stars because I felt like a few things cost a little too much (photos, and the fact that military discount can't be applied to encounters) however the friendliness of the staff made me decide on five. I went during the night to see the luminosa display, then again during the day for the lemur encounter and to feed the flamingos. So ya.. it was a bit expensive for my taste, but a once in a lifetime opportunity. The lights were beautiful. It was a great festive experience. Unfortunately I was there alone but I'm sure it would be great for families and couples. Plan to spend 1-2hrs. Feeding the flamingos was really cool! I'm from Canada so we don't see flamingos very often there. The rest of the birds were amazing too - they have some extremely rare blue parrots and I understand this is the only place in the world you can see them. This is also the only place in the world where you can hold red lemurs! The lemur encounter was worth the price. It was so memorable! You can feed, pet, and hold the lemurs and they are super friendly. Plan to spend 3-4 hours or so at the park during the day.

Parking was $15 Admission was $25 per adult No on-site food service, only an overpriced food truck in middle of park that didn't have half of what was advertised on the menu, eg: $5 can soda, $7 hot dog, and $20 small pizza. We walked the entire park in about an hour. The educational show was at 2 p.m, but we left early because of the humidity. There was more to do like playing with the animals , birds, walking the tree tops plus more, but the kids wanted to leave.

I went for Luminosa at night and was impressed with all decorations. There are some romantic spots to listen to live music and have a drink. There was also an acrobatics show, very short but really cool. I think it’s about 1 and a half hours tour to see everything. If you take time to sit and enjoy the place, it might be longer.

Fun place. Weirdly they still had haunted house stuff up? Or were putting it up already? The keepers clearly care for the animals. They all look healthy. Staff is friendly and the place is well cared for in general. Nice little attraction, but be warned. Plenty of shade but not buildings with AC (other than the main building) if you need a place to cool down. Animal show was cute.

It was absolutely amazing! We did a VIP experience with the lemurs and it was the most fun I have ever had in my life! Even if you don't do that it is really a cute little place for small children or great place to take your mom or dad.

Really cool place to go at night. Is quite pricey to get in and get food, but a fun place. Not sure why they have time slots on the tickets because we’ve never shown up at the right time and no one asked us about it. Wish the paths were better laid out is my one big complaint. It’s very easy to wander aimlessly and or double track over where you were before.

I wasn't expecting much since reviews weren't that great. Reserved tickets a couple days in advance for the free. Did have to pay $15 for parking. Everything was super clean and well maintained. Most exhibits had animals in them and my son genuinely had a good time. It's not that big if you just plan on just looking around and not doing any activities. We spent about an hour and a half. There a cute little food truck with pizzas, burger etc. They do have personal one on one encounters with animals plus zip lining which I might go back and try out! All in all it was a good time and a great stop if you plan on doing multiple things in one day.

We had the best experience here. Davie, the manager of the tree top trek was incredible. When my son got scared, he encouraged him and helped him down with the amazing Lorena. He gave him a talk about overcoming fears and understanding that he is not a failure even if he cannot do something now. He went above and beyond. When my son got hurt, Alex Reed cared for him and made sure he got us ice. He was unbelievably empathetic and kind. What a great day!! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Came here with a friend for a capybara and kangaroo encounter. Our guide, Ryan, was absolutely fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and very witty. You can tell he cares a lot for the animals here and respects them. The animals themselves were adorable and friendly and looked very well taken care of. There is also a section with many, many, many large parrots freely perched on branches for people to take photos with. Had a great experience and would definitely return the next time I’m in Miami! Would love to do the other animal encounters! The park currently offers free general admission, as it is not fully re-opened yet. The rest of the park was very nice as well - lots of wild birds and free-roaming lizards. There is a treehouse for kids to play in, as well as vendors for food and snacks. The park itself is pretty small - could probably walk through in less than an hour. We spent about two and a half hours here between the two animal encounters and other activities. Would recommend!

Attended the Candlelight concert series here. Pop on Strings. An amazing, romantic evening! Very organized event. Parking was $20 and right next to the Bloom Ballroom where the event took place. Food and drink are available. You order and pay on your phone and items are brought to your seat. Seating is separated for social distancing.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jungle Island with a group of friends, and I must say it was an absolute delight. Our main highlight was the incredible sloth experience, and our guide, Jose, played a pivotal role in making the entire visit truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at Jungle Island, it was evident that the care and dedication put into the facility were exceptional. The lush greenery and vibrant flora created a stunning backdrop, immersing us in a tropical paradise. The attention to detail in maintaining a beautiful and well-groomed environment was evident throughout the park, adding to the overall charm of the place. Our guide, Jose, was the star of the sloth experience. From the get-go, his passion for the animals and his extensive knowledge were evident. He went above and beyond to provide us with a wealth of information about the sloths, their habitat, and their behavior. Jose's enthusiasm was contagious, and his ability to convey his love for these amazing creatures truly enhanced the experience. We loved Rico Suave and Flash, the cutest sloths ever. What made Jose stand out was not only his expertise but also his warm and personable nature. He took the time to interact with each member of our group, ensuring that everyone felt included and engaged. He patiently answered all our questions and shared fascinating stories about the sloths, making the encounter educational and entertaining at the same time. Jungle Island itself was a haven for nature enthusiasts. The animals were well taken care of, and their habitats were well designed. It was heartening to see the dedication of the staff in providing a safe and comfortable home for the animals, and their commitment to conservation was evident throughout the park. Beyond the sloth experience, Jungle Island offered a diverse array of animal exhibits that captivated our attention. From exotic birds to reptiles and mammals, there was something for everyone. The opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures up close was truly awe-inspiring and left us with a deep appreciation for the wonders of the animal kingdom. In conclusion, my visit to Jungle Island was a truly fantastic experience. The combination of a beautiful setting, well-cared-for animals, and knowledgeable guides like Jose made it an unforgettable adventure. Whether you're a nature lover or simply looking for an exciting and educational outing, Jungle Island is a must-visit destination. I can't recommend it enough, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of the captivating wildlife and natural beauty that Jungle Island has to offer.

Made a visit here for treetop trekking with my boyfriend & it was lots of fun. The staff was very supportive when you’re contemplating doing anything but moving forward. They all also had a bright & light-hearted sense of humor, you could tell they are a team. Zip-lining was scary at first but I wanted to do more afterwards. Walking around seeing the animals was not as enjoyable, as one might imagine. After all, it is a form of a zoo. The exhibits could’ve at least been bigger. Though seeing the animals with raw eyes was cool, we will not be going to places where animals are enclosed anymore.

We visited Jungle Island for the Luminosa event at night. The lanterns were gorgeous. It was a lot of fun walking around to see the different displays. There are times it felt a little over crowded but eventually people disperse and you’re able to enjoy the event without bumping into everyone. WARNING about the parking - if you park in the roof I would recommend parking along the wall, people parking in the aisle don’t park well and it blocks off the lanes we almost got stuck! I would recommend eating before going. The snacks and drink options were overpriced.

We arrived at Jungle Island around 12:30 pm it wasn’t very busy except at check in, we bought our tickets online. Our Lemur encounter started at 1 pm and our worth the price. I haven’t played lemurs and it was so magical. Really a lot of fun! Ryan was very informative and so nice, he really explained things about the lemurs especially about the queen lemur behaviour, I loved our pictures. We then headed to our kangaroo encounter and it was wonderful. They were very adorable and Really nice to see up close, my children really had so much excitement actually seeing real kangaroo, it was really amazing! Clay was very kind and really took his time to explain things about the kangaroos and their temperament along with how they live in the wild. I am so glad I found this place. The parrots throughout the park were also really pretty. It was an overall amazing trip to Jungle Island. We also had interacted with Jake at the register, he was really cool, his customer service skills were great, we will be back! Andre the photographer was great as well! I enjoyed it all!

Excellent place to have fun with friends and your children. As an option there is to climb with obstacles or the zoo and it is very nice too. My experience when climbing I recommend it 100% very fun, it has four levels of difficulty.

Truly a one of a kind place and worthy of more than 5-stars. The experiences are unique and truly treasured. Ryan (zookeeper) showed us a most incredible Lemur Experience (worth every penny and frankly should cost more!). Cannot say enough of the goodness of the staff and crew. Will happily be coming back. Should be a must visit for every Miami family and out of towners.

I used to come here a lot when I was younger. Park was beautiful and updated there were lots of tropical birds to see. You can see the whole park in one hour. Plenty of shade but bring a fan, because it's quite humid out there. We had gotten our tickets for free due to a promotion online. Original fee is $30 for > 12 yo and it includes access to tree Park village where you do a course.

I will start recommending everyone to bring his own bottle of water, entry is free but everything inside is expensive (water and sodas at $5). The place is neglected, looks like an abandoned place. I just hope it was because a week day but my kids got really bored and wanted to go back home after just 15 minutes there. Inside there is a playground that is for free use and there is another playground (bigger and comfy) that is for extra charge. There is also a show, a little educational but boring for moments. There is an Everglades area that lacks from it’s more famous residents, the alligators. The place has a lot more potential

I think this a great place to take kids. Did not partake in the theme park portion, more just the animal portion. It was still interesting as a few adults, as the vibrant amount of plants are very pretty and the amount of birds they have is quite grand. Did as part of the Miami go pass, which was definitely worth it. Saw a bird show, which was also great.

Had a fantastic time for both kids and adults – highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back the next time we're in Miami. Even though the show was cancelled despite being advertised, the manager went above and beyond, giving us a full refund and a sincere apology for the inconvenience. Great customer service, and we still had a wonderfully relaxing time surrounded by Florida's flora and fauna. The kids love the zip lining. I appreciate the positive and natural vibes!

We had a wonderful afternoon at Parrot Jungle Island during the presentation of the mini Christmas circus. Although the abrupt escorting everyone from the facilities after the show disappointed us, the manager completely turned our experience around. His kindness in allowing us to remain after the show was exceptional and made a significant difference. We appreciate his generous gesture and the willingness of the staff to accommodate and make our visit memorable. The park itself is spectacular, with interesting attractions for both children and adults. We highly recommend Parrot Jungle Island as a charming destination for families. Thanks to the manager Jorge and his team for their exceptional hospitality!

It was AMAZING! I am skeptical about “zoos” but Jungle Island made it incredible for me. First of all, it doesn’t smell like every zoo. It’s BEAUTIFUL and best part of all, animals looks happy and healthy. Actually, during my stay there I saw macaws every time around the area (without cage, ‘free’), same for the ducks and flamingos. Good thing! Points por Jungle Island. I had the opportunity to go to two shows and I simply LOVED IT! I highly recommend “Wild Adventures Show” the one with the birds. Easy parking and flat rate: $10 Place for snacks: Paul (the bakery franchise) and an ice cream spot. Souvenir store. Play kids area. ***DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH THE MACAWS AT YOUR ENTRANCE! At the end you can buy them (if you like it! And of course they do a great job, you will do it)

The only thing was enjoyable was the parrot show. the rest, the rest of the birds a few animals were in cages and goats for petting, and there was tickets to buy for every extraction. Place needs to be cleaned out more as the smell was bad, and the lights in the walk ways made it hotter, which was not needed anyway during the day.

They have promo for free admission, but you have to register one day in advance. I like the zoo and garden. They built in with shade all over the garden. You will not feel hot and sweat in the afternoon. They also have an indoor garage. They don't have much animal to see but I feel comfortably while visit the jungle island. You can see the animals very close or even pay for interacting with the animal. They have treetop tracking too.

We had a fantastic time here! Apparently, this place has just come under new ownership and they are really doing a lot to make sure all of the animals are happy and well taken care of now. I guess it was somewhat of a different story beforehand… Anyways, we did a VIP tour and it was nothing short of amazing. Our guide, Ally, was super knowledgeable of all of the animals, even knew their individual personalities traits and quirks. It was obvious that she really loved and cared for them. The lemurs were by far, the best. They were all so friendly and velvety soft. All in all, the entire staff did a wonderful job making sure we had the best time possible. Thank you guys!!

He so knowledgeable and kind, we were able to enjoy every moment. For the price, is definitely a must do if you’re visiting Miami or haven’t done this and you live here. The animals are so well taken care of you can tell by the bonding they have with their caregivers. Not to mention the staff was very helpful upon arrival at the check in. Saw the flamingos, it was absolutely amazing, but the photographer didn’t mention none of our pics came out on her camera until I asked her about them. Also the gift shop is down right sad. The airport shops had more flamingo items. Was super bummed with those two things. Only photos we got are the videos we took ourselves, but none of us actually interacting with them from another perspective was a sad discovery. The tour guide was awesome and had sooo much knowledge.

Hitting up Jungle Island with my friend's 4 & 6 kiddos on a rainy day was actually a win! The rain didn't dampen our spirits—instead, it added this cool adventure vibe. The little ones had a blast being under the rain, and we got to see the place in a whole new light. Feeding the goats was one of the favorites. The lights are absolutely beautiful. Self guided so you can pace yourself whilst enjoying the experience. There were a couple venders for food and beverages as well. This experience was surely worth the 3 hour drive. Me and my family really enjoyed the entertainment and atmosphere. Thank you.

This was so much fun, and the animal interactions are wonderful. It was especially interesting talking with the lemur zookeeper during the lemur encounter. He I'd really great. My kids also had a blast on the playgrounds and the ropes course.

Four artistic light pavilions, beautifully detailed in form and color. There is also a performance show of stunts and martial arts that’s pretty cool. The 9pm one was perfect for a date.

I went last year in November! It was amazing and the area was very clean. The wild life is so beautiful and very exotic. I purchased the experience with the lemur encounter. It was AMAZING! It felt like a dream. The lemurs were clean, friendly, and I can tell very loved. Ryan was our guide for the lemur encounter, he has so much love and compassion for animals. He warned us before what to be careful of and he was very kind and helpful. Thank you for offering this amazing experience I will always cherish it. Make sure to bring snacks and plenty of water. Jungle Island is very fun and perfect for animal lovers and children. Thank you.

Jungle Island is a tropical sanctuary for kids and families to enjoy the wildlife of south Florida and beyond. There are parrots galore, and the place is teeming with happiness. The staff were super friendly, and we were able to pre-pay for our reservation right online. Our daughter particularly loved the flamingos, as well as feeding to the coy fish as well as the goats. It was an awesome experience!

Did not know what to expect going into this. The Staff is super nice. There are exotic birds and animals all around the place. I imagine they have a petting zoo. I can’t say as we showed up for the Treetop Trekking. Best description is an obstacle course 30 to 60 ft off the ground. You are harnessed in for safety as you navigate zip lines, tight ropes, rope ladders and the such. A pretty physical activity. It was lots of fun. Some views of Miami on the upper coarse are very nice.

Almost each year we visit at least once this jewel of Miami, and it is always a positive, invigorating experience. This year it was one of very few places open right before NYE 2021. We had a family "audience" with their... capybara! Jungle Island has 4 of them.

Amazing place with lots of things to do there. Beautiful gardens and decorations and various animals to look at and learn from. I went for the Luminosa light show with my family and we were all delighted and had a wonderful time.

It was alright, nothing super exciting or significant. Definitely not worth the full price, even for kids. The only attractive features are the kangaroo walkabout, the petting area and the shows. We went and the kangaroo walkabout wasn't even open so we missed that part. Overall not bad but not great either.

This place is pretty amazing. Lots of things to see and a very natural environment. For me it is definitely a five star. I am also biased in the fact that I graduated here.

The rain forest exhibit was the best butterfly garden I have ever seen. Butterflies were really active. The aquarium is pretty good too.Enjoyed being there. Took about 2 hour.

LOVVVEEE THIS PLACE! This place is a combination of an aquarium , planetarium and a museum! There is also a huge beautiful rain forest exhibit as well where you can see exotic butterflies. It's a great place to check out if you are in Norcal! I highly recommend this place to anyone of all ages. It takes about 3 to 4 hours to see everything and they close at 5PM so plan accordingly. If you have student ID, you will save some money :) When you arrive make sure to get a Planetarium Show ticket in the back with purple signs. It's a great place to take a nap with blasting AC.

I came for a tribute to Queen by Candlelight concerts. Done by Liteso string quartet. The venue was presented by fever. They have an app and you can find their information online too. The venue offer beer and liquor and assorted healthy and not so healthy snacks. The ambiance and environment was relax and pleasant. I would recommend whole hearted any events presented here at Jungle Island Events and any fever event.

We got a private tour of the park and as an avid animal lover this was the best “zoo” like experience. The animals were all very active and you could tell their were very well taken care of. The birds were singing and talking even the tortoises were moving around and active. I love love loveeeed the sloth encounter as well. It was an amazing experience.

The private animal encounter VIP tours are absolutely phenomenal. There is nothing like it anywhere in Miami and tour guide Ryan Jacobs does a fantastic job making you feel one with these stunning creatures. We will definitely be back and look forward to new hands on adventures in the future.

We went to the zipping trekking experience. It was amazing. I watched from below but my family and friends had a wonderful experience. All had a wonderful time. They said they would do it again. I enjoyed the grounds, it was clean. The birds and animals were beautiful. The staff was wonderful.

We had the most amazing experience here. We signed up for the lemur encounter and it was nothing short of amazing. Our guide Ryan was so knowledgeable in all of the animals that we past and had so many great things to share. We are already planning to come back!

It was a very nice day. It only cost 10 dollars for an adult. The flamingos were gorgeous making this amazing call that went on for 5 mins. Lots of beautiful parrots. The green one says hello. If your an animal person I highly recommend it.

While it was nice to see all the parrots perched freely about the park and some other animals, what we unexpectedly enjoyed the most was the amazing playgrounds for kids. One was perfect for 3-7yr olds with lots of safe, yet fun and challenging bridges and beautifully designed tree houses. I’d pay admission to the park just for my kid to enjoy this for an hour or so, have a quick bite and then see animals.

Good place for taking pictures, and have fun with the whole family. Also, ticket counter staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed our time here. There is few birds who talk back when you say hello to them, very cute!
