Update: The Park is no longer clean and they no longer have workers on the weekends! The benches are filled with Duck “ stuff” and makes it harder to sit down and look at the water… This Park used to Be Clean when Elizabeth the Manager was here! It's like they don't bother to clean up the park anymore and you don't see the workers anymore ... they either need to hire more staff or actually keep the staff accountable. I remember when I used to come here to sit down and relax and they had staff outside picking up trash or sweeping ! I heard all Park attendants got a raise but for what if it's Dirtier the before ... I'm just saying in my Opinion!!! Don't believe me check out for yourself! Just don’t be surprised by the amount of ducks, iguanas , birds and Trash everywhere!

This is a very nice neighborhood park with a community center, playground equipment and restrooms. There is a public boat ramp that has been under construction for over a year. This is the only public access to Blue Lagoon. Even though you can access the water to use a personal water craft like a kayak, the park staff says that it is prohibited. It is a shame that the area is closed.

First let me start saying I'm a local neighbor from this park. Over two year ago City Mayor Francis Suarez and this politicians Alex Diaz de la Portilla, Ken Russell, Joe Carollo, Manolo Reyes, Jeffrey Watson, Arthur Noriega, Angel R Carrasquillo started a remodeling project of the boat ramp and new restroom. $1,205,383, two years after and still not done. I'm a tower crane operator, I have seen buildings of 25 floor build in one year, sometimes less time than that. How a little boat ramp and a bathroom is not done in over 2 years with over a million dollars budget from the tax payers? I really hope they see this review and answer this question.

Nice little dog friendly park, a small but nice little slice of nature in the city on the water. We had a little time to kill, while out running errands, thought we'd stretch our legs and give the dog something to get excited about.

Little park with small playground area next to the bay. Parking is a hassle.

I'm a local neigbour of this park. The reason for the 1 star review, is because they are doing a very small construction remodeling on the boat ramp area. They started this project 2 years ago and still not done. It makes no sence at all

They renovated the play area and is okay, they chose NOT to put swings...ugh. the benches are dirty due to the ducks pooping everywhere. It is safe and nice crowd bit noisy though.

Maceo Park used to be a great gathering spot for everyone from older men sitting around playing dominoes and chess, to young kids playing on jungle-gyms and feeding ducks by the water. Now it's an eyesore and dangerous, and in perpetual construction. Another example of Democratic city leadership sitting in beautiful corner offices while the real people of the city suffer with crime and disgusting infrastructure.

Park area was nice. As of Feb 24 the boat ramp is closed and it doesn't look like it will be open anytime soon.

The boat ramps are closed and there is a no fishing sign. Not sure if the water is brackish or Fresh. Lots of ducks and other birds. I used a sink, no bites.

The park is nice but the staff at the community center are terrible. Please replace them with people who have better people skills. Told us the place was closed and kicked us out when it was clearly not closed. Not a community center.

This park used to be beautiful, lots of space and cute ducks for the kids to see and run. But now it is all closed off and is been like that for 2 years already or more. The playground is nice but it needs more shade and swings for kids.

Beach is beautiful!!! Antonio Maceo Park in the distance gives it an extra beauty mark. The one knock is I feel they should have more garbage cans closer than how they have it now. It is a clothing optional beach fyi!! Maya was naked the whole time!! We will definitely visit again wasn't too crowded for a Sunday

The park itself is wonderful, and people are kind and courteous with their trash! It used to be a great place two fish from the bank! Now you are no longer allowed to fish from the bank you have to be in a boat! If you don't have a boat and you're from out-of-town it's difficult to find a place to fish for peacock bass! A fishing dock would be nice here!

It's a cute small park. I was hoping to see some iguanas, but I didn't. There is a community center there. A small group was practicing Tai Chi. That was peaceful to walk.

AkA "el Parque de los patos" nice clean park with a children's playground. Big lake on site. The only thing that I dislike are las chusmas walking around pretending to be mothers.
