One of the best experiences of my life. An airboat ride through the Everglades is something everyone should do but to make it good needs a good captain. We booked a two hour environmental and historical tour with an experienced captain through West Palm Beach Airboats and Capt Wayne Gilbert, Jr. made the tour great. He knew where to go and knew the Everglades flora, fauna, and history. How you know without a map for as far as we went needs a good guide. We were on a small boat that holds eight or so, so the ride was intimate and everything appeared close. We saw alligators, birds and herons, old hunting camps, and a drug running plane that crashed in 1994. Nice sunny day. Boat can be noisy but headphones are provided. We had a four year old with us and she stayed interested so what we were seeing held her interest. There were a few stops (stayed on the boat) where the boat was shut down and we could talk and ask about what we were seeing and the eco-history of the 'glades. Too bad it was only two hours. I got a lot of good pics and want to go back to do just a photo tour day.

I took a star away simply because we had an incredibly frustrating time trying to find this particular place. We hit the directions button from this listing in Google and were directed to drive into the FLA Arena in Sunrise. Obviously, not the right address. We then read some of the comments and were directed to the Sawgrass trailhead a few miles away. Got there and it was nothing like the description in this particular listing. Again, extremely frustrating. We never did find this place. It would be nice if someone were to put an exact address in. Pretty please.

The Everglades Wildlife Management Area is a nature lover's paradise, an enchanting haven where wildlife thrives in its unspoiled glory. As we ventured into this vast expanse of wetlands and marshes, we were met with a captivating display of biodiversity. The air reverberated with the calls of countless bird species, and alligators stealthily glided through the water, leaving ripples in their wake. Our visit was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We embarked on guided tours that offered intimate encounters with the natural inhabitants of this unique ecosystem. From majestic herons to elusive panthers, the area's wildlife showcased their resilience and beauty, leaving us in awe. The serene landscapes and untouched wilderness offered a sense of tranquility and connection to the natural world. Exploring the winding trails, we reveled in the knowledge that we were stepping foot into an ancient landscape, preserved through dedicated conservation efforts. Witnessing the delicate balance of life in the Everglades Wildlife Management Area was both humbling and inspiring. It served as a poignant reminder of the importance of safeguarding our natural heritage for future generations. Our journey through this remarkable wilderness left an indelible mark on our hearts, instilling a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature. For anyone seeking a transformative encounter with wildlife and the raw beauty of the Everglades, this sanctuary promises a visit of a lifetime.

Gorgeous trails. Birds of all kinds and quiet. There's a parking that gets pretty full but you can park in the roundabout. After you get out, it honestly doesn't look like much, but once you climb up the hill the Everglades just cover the whole horizon. The trails themselves are very long, I know one goes all the way to Markham Park!

I love Alligator Alley. Cute stop and you never know what you will see when you stop! If you have a few minutes or a couple hours, definetly worth a stop at any of the pull offs!

Great Everglades views especially at Sunset which is quite popular so get there early for parking! I also have worked out on the trail but can get buggy in summer season since it is the Everglades. A bit of the Real Florida with wide open spaces.

So quiet, except for the birds! The dock in the picture was just off an unmarked trail on Birdon Rd, at about 3.4 miles north of the highway. A tenth of a mile past a white mailbox on the right, there's a driveway - with a couch, unless someone has removed it! The trail is straight ahead, perpendicular to Birdon. Not easy to see, but well worth the walk!

Posting about the trail above Markham that looks over the Everglades. Amazing views. First place I took my girlfriend, and there for nostalgic to revisit. I definitely recommend coming here during sundown for the beautiful orange skies.

1 star..I wish they wouldn't allow dogs too many people allow their pets to *hit anywhere and don't pick up their waste that can contaminate the water. 5 stars.... Otherwise great place to watch the sunset off Atlantic 5stars

You want to hike, bike, fish or catch an amazing sunset? That's the place to go. During sunset parking is crowded so come early! If you walk into the everglades you might see alligators if you're lucky. I've seen baby alligators once about 2-3 Miles up the road into the wild... There is a little pond area/ pier so watch out for wildlife. It's free no fee no parking fees.

I have worked with them for many years, and I can say that they are one of the best private investigators in the city. They are very thorough and always find results that I need. They have helped me with countless cases, from stolen jewelry to stalking incidents. They are also great at finding information on people who have passed away. They are able to do everything from a simple background check to an entire investigation into the history of a person's life.
