The Holocaust is a piece of history I enjoy learning more and more about. It's a very horrific piece of history indeed but hearing and seeing what these people went through must be shared with many generations to come. It's a small memorial but it was lovely nonetheless. If you're in Miami Beach this is a must see!

Really great place, but be aware that there are pictures that can be graphic and inappropriate for young children due to naked people, and mounts of bodies. Otherwise it was heart wrenching, and very informational. The hand statue is really magnificent and a wonder to look at.

Simply put, it was amazing! So peaceful, yet so disturbing. The emotion you feel while standing there, reading about this travesty, is immense. It was well made. The Botanical Gardens, right behind it, is really neat too!

this memorial is striking in the heart. there you feel the incredible pain of those events. very nice and quiet park with a magnificent pond. being there, you immediately understand that you are lucky to live and be free. sculptures, photographs and an endless number of victim names make you numb with the horror of the Holocaust ...

Every time I go I get goosebumps. The memorial is amazing. The artwork is able to capture the horror of the holocaust. Love how they honor the victims with their names engraved on the walls. The history of the holocaust and the events leading up to it is explained on the south side wall while you are walking towards the entrance of the hand. Every time I am in the area this is a must see for me. πŸ‘πŸ»

Very touching memorial of the Holocaust. This was a class field trip. Great for the kids and us adults to never forget this dark time in history and that this never repeats itself. Guides were awesome and stories told were through the eyes of their loved ones that survived.

Self guided tours at an outdoor Holocaust museum with a memorial wall & huge human hand sculpture. Very somber place for reflection and remembrance of those that were lost and experienced an unforgettable Atrocity that occurred in the Holocaust.

View from the front is impressive and elaborate, also, when you go around there is a tunnel, you can go inside and see the whole dramatic scene. There is music playing which is increasing the emotional depth and significance. For some people seeing this monument might be a difficult experience.

Its hard to give 5 stars because it's a museum that covers a devastating chapter in history. However, the feeling that washes over you as you approach the center of the museum really there are no words for.

Absolutely stunning memorial. A must see in Miami. The statues are very life like and tragic which gives a view of the horrific events that occurred in the Holocaust that we cannot forget. A very somber place for reflection and remembrance of those that were lost.

Great place to visit but inappropriate for young kids. My kid got emotional. So took her away from the place. You will get to learn about the holocaust history. The statue is magnificent. It's a great place to take pictures and the sculpture is huge. Walking down the corridors looking at the statues could make you emotional. The memorial is free to visit. It is a somber place, great and a historic landmark. The Miami botanical garden is also next to this place. It is just five minutes walk. There is parking available for the holocaust memorial and the botanical garden round the corner. The memorial was worth the visit. It's educational.

This is definitely a place to visit. Go through the tunnel and into the area the arm to the hand is located. Such a humbling memorial to walk through.

There are no words for this place. The energy is overwhelmingly sad. However, the structure is a beautiful representation...or memorial if you will...for thee people.

An emotional experience, panels literally walk you through the hardships of the Holocaust with heartbreaking imagery with brutal descriptions. We must be taken aback by the extent of cruelty and mistreatment (it is described that death was cheered for), and while it’s hard to understand how people can be so hateful, seeing this memorial in the present times (2020 for me) is a wake-up call for how easily humanity can be manipulated into hatred. There is little here about the Nazi’s themselves, but this memorial is not for them. It is the victims we must cherish not because so many of them suffered to death (including one example of a man who opted for death by electric fence to escape the dreadful gas chambers), but because they lived. Real people were incinerated. Real children were taken from their families and killed. Millions of people. The memorial is a beautiful piece of art. A free exhibit, too, worth seeing to reflect on the event alone...I couldn’t help but take photos of the reflections I found.

Great place. We learned a lot about the Holocaust. For those of whom has hate in their heart, you should take a trip to the Holocaust memorial and read about the atrocities committed my the Nazis. Smh.

this is for the most part outdoor fairly small exhibit that is open all the time. we came here on Sunday so we didn't get to go into the office.. maybe there was a path that outdoor path that we didn't get to go on... .. the main exhibition is the the giant green hand also they have about 25 enlarged marble plaque displays with details and pictures of the whole Holocaust..

Solemn tribute and remembrance to the souls lost to the Holocaust. Man's inhumanity to man. History can not be ignored or rewritten. Beautifully maintained, excellent t educational experience. Not a kid's playground for entertainment. I always stop by when in Miami, early morning for quiet prayer and contemplation.

Really nice place where you can pay your respect to all the people that died in the holocaust also you can see some very sensitive and full of trues photographs where you can learn the reality of what happened in the past. Highly recommended.

Really emotional to visit. The place really captures the horror of the Holocaust yet in a beautiful and profound way. The person handing the information flyers was so sweet and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend going if you have a chance (it's around the corner from the botanical garden which is also free to visit).
