An
emotional
experience,
panels
literally
walk
you
through
the
hardships
of
the
Holocaust
with
heartbreaking
imagery
with
brutal
descriptions.
We
must
be
taken
aback
by
the
extent
of
cruelty
and
mistreatment
(it
is
described
that
death
was
cheered
for),
and
while
itβs
hard
to
understand
how
people
can
be
so
hateful,
seeing
this
memorial
in
the
present
times
(2020
for
me)
is
a
wake-up
call
for
how
easily
humanity
can
be
manipulated
into
hatred.
There
is
little
here
about
the
Naziβs
themselves,
but
this
memorial
is
not
for
them.
It
is
the
victims
we
must
cherish
not
because
so
many
of
them
suffered
to
death
(including
one
example
of
a
man
who
opted
for
death
by
electric
fence
to
escape
the
dreadful
gas
chambers),
but
because
they
lived.
Real
people
were
incinerated.
Real
children
were
taken
from
their
families
and
killed.
Millions
of
people.
The
memorial
is
a
beautiful
piece
of
art.
A
free
exhibit,
too,
worth
seeing
to
reflect
on
the
event
alone...I
couldnβt
help
but
take
photos
of
the
reflections
I
found.
