Beautiful and clean park close to Miami beach. It can be accessed anytime, free of cost. During morning time it gets busy, people bike, exercise, walk, jog and relax here. It has many entrance to beach. A clean restroom is there. It has a bicycle stand, benches to sit, court to play volleyball, exercise equipment and kids play area. And the best part palm trees and birds. We took a morning walk there. It was soothing. In night lights around palm tree looks great.

So pretty, this is a very fun beach/park. It's definitely a party beach! So if you are looking to relax and read your book, you should bring some noise canceling headphones/earbuds. You can go early in the morning it will be more quiet. But considering how busy a beach it is, it's very clean and very well taken care of! The water is so clear and beautiful!

This is the place to walk around if you want to do some people watching and experience what South Beach Miami is all about. Easy access to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants on the other side.

Amazing place to visit, organized, clean and one of the best vibes you can feel. Just by walking to it, the closer you get the more you connect with the feeling of calmness, the sand is almost white and the water is a crystal clear green. When you enter into the water it is warm and relaxing the waves do a harmonious dance for you and the most you hear is the bird and all the peoples laughter. It has sprayers to take the sand off your feet and their restrooms are kept clean and accessible. There is a variety of kiosks that offer drinks and food for you to enjoy with your family and friends. And one of the most important things is the feeling of SAFETY, being that there's plenty of patrolling from the Miami Police, beach security and Coast guards. P.S. Your furry friends are welcome ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฆฎ with a leash to maintain everyone's safety ๐Ÿ›Ÿ๐Ÿฆบ.

We came very early(~8am) and the beach was awesome, no waves, almost empty. The sand is not the best I have seen but it is still very nice, water was very clear like crystal but lots of sargasso for a while but later on there was no more. Close to the beach line. The coffee shops and restaurants are plenty but expensive.

Great Park, playground for Kids, great amenities... definitely a nice place to cool down and have a drink or just people watch. Or if you're active there's Miami's own Muscle Beach. Along with bike and walk paths, right across the street from of all clubs and eateries of South Beach. (I hope the pictures help and do it justice.)

Excellent place for a stroll or a run ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ. A few minutes walk from south beach and many caffรจs and restaurants on the other side of the road. There is also a fruit and food market on Saturday. The outdoor gym is an excellent spot for people looking to exercise under the scorching sun and humidity.

This place is to walk around to experience South Beach Miami. You must visit the site if you are in Miami. Parking is paid via the ParkMobile application. You can find plenty of parking spaces across the alleys. It might not be easy to find parking if you are visiting during peak hours. There are a lot of pubs and restaurants on the other side of the road, facing the park and beach.

This is one of the cleanest and most fun parks I've been to. Coming into South Beach it was my first views and it was amazing. There's so much happening here. Muscle beach is a cool place although I don't lift much anymore. The views here are exquisite. Palm trees, walkers, wildlife, rollerbladers and bikers are always about on the path that runs parallel to the shoreline. We rented bikes to Venture out and explore a bit more of the beach areas. My favorite place other than the beach to catch some sun and people watch. As you could imagine there's many varieties of humans here to see. One side is the ocean and the other is the striking architecture of the art Deco district in South Beach.

Great bricked promenade path that stretches for miles makes a great walk or bikeride. Rent a bike - it's cheap and worth the views..watch for pedestrians. Beach is outstanding...clean and bright blue water. Swam in February - a bit chilly but worth the dive. Art deco hotels and restaurants make for spectacular destination.

Clean showers, excellent visitors center, bike rentals to enjoy the boardwalk and ride to the pier. museum about revival of South Beach, and best of all is the eclectic gift shop with vintage jewelry, art. Candles etc with a staff that makes it feel like your shopping at a boutique!!!!

First time visit Miami Beach and it was so beautiful. Just before the pathway to the beach there are washrooms which is perfect. Once you get to the beach you can rent long chairs and umbrellas but be prepared to pay a lot. If you can bring your own gear it would be best. The water and shore was filled with algae but the ocean is just amazing nonetheless. Warm and wavy, lots of wind so protect yourself from sunburn as you may not feel how strong the sun is because of the breeze. Water not convenient for young children because of the strong waves and tide. I wouldnโ€™t leave children alone by the water.

Wonderful park next to the perfect beach and beside one of the best drive's in the country. The park is well maintained. There is no entry fee, as it is free of cost. There are clean restrooms. Can sit back and relax on the lawn or there are some benches to sit. Mornings are usually busy with people cycling, jogging or cycling. There is also a citi cycle station here for the ones who want to pick or drop their cycles which are available for rent. A must visit place.

Nice park, open spaces, restrooms. Bought a few cigars and brought them here. Told we can smoke here so we did. Windy but it is expected. Parking has to be done street side it seems. Wish it was cheaper 4 bucks an hour is insane.

Lummus Park on South Beach is a Miami must-visit. Pristine beach, swaying palms, and an energetic vibe capture the essence of iconic Miami living. Perfect for sunbathing, beach volleyball, and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. A quintessential destination for a taste of South Beach's dynamic charm.

Peaceful walk path, bike path by the ocean with outside showers for rinsing off sand, with a pay to park lot and bathrooms. A long strip of restaurants, hotels and art deco type look. Our group had the experience of watching a professional photo shoot of ladies for a magazine spread.

I came here to shoot some videos for my vlog page and found the perfect little table with a Christmas tree. Their decorations are so cute! Yes cute ๐Ÿ˜‚ anyways I have to recommend their Breakfast croissant as well as the Nutella Croissant ๐Ÿฅ those two were so delicious! Every bite was soft and Crunchy ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ I enjoyed my Hot Chocolate as well! I definitely rate them a 10/10 spot! The staff was pretty chill as well thank you Our Grounds! โค๏ธ

An Energizing Paradise on Miami's Shores Lummus Park, a local treasure and Miami's renowned beachfront facility, strikes a harmonious balance between tranquility and vitality. This captivating haven offers one of the most remarkable beach walkways, where visitors can indulge in serene strolls or invigorating exercise. From well-equipped calisthenics bars to vibrant volleyball courts, boredom is a distant memory here. The government's commitment to promoting tourism shines through, making this place a hub for fitness enthusiasts and social butterflies alike. While the park's charm and amenities warrant enthusiastic praise, some minor improvements could enhance the overall experience. Nonetheless, Lummus Park is an absolute must-visit, and I'm already planning my return!

We went at night to take some out-of-town friends to visit since they had never been there before. I really don't go to this area much anymore. It's a young party crowd. We bought some overpriced water bottles and sat by the park for a little while. There are lots of restaurants and places to listen to music, dance, and drink (if that's what you are looking for). It's definitely a place to visit at least once if you have never been there. This area is iconic for photo ops. It's been in movies, TV series, and well-known for its beaches. There are plenty of areas to park. One of our favorite pizzerias (which we do spontaneous trips to) is right at the corner of 4th and Ocean Drive. Pizza Days has delicious pizza, and the slices are more like a personal pizza. The prices are reasonable. We didn't find any public restrooms, and the establishments didn't allow walk-ins to use their facilities (which it's understandable but very inconvenient). Overall, we did enjoy the walk, and our friends got some cool photos out of it. I wouldn't take young children there at night due to all the smoking in the street. The odor was overwhelming and not comfortable at all.

Great clean locale on Ocean Drive with beach access, volleyball courts, and a small boardwalk. Grab a morning coffee and snack from Sunny's down the street and take in the beautiful sunrise!

  • 5/5 Vic T. 1 year ago on Google
Great place to spend a day at the park then beach. Parking is not free but you can find a spot almost anywhere, by the minute or by the hour, some spot are $2/hour if you pay on the kiosk, it's 4/hr if you pay online. The beach is cleaner and lot less seaweeds compared to Hallandale Beach. The water is crystal clear, and there are sand bars which are really nice. Foods are pricey everywhere. Come full or pack some so you can save a lot more money.

I was vacationing with my best friends in Little Havana and we decided to check out a nice beach while we are here. I'm so glad we came to Lummus Park. It is so well organized, clean and beautiful. The beaches clean and they have lots of beach chairs and umbrellas for everybody. I enjoyed a great swim in the clean water and the sandy areas. Definitely going to bring my family to come visit sometime.
