The best dog park ever. There are two areas, one with the lake and the other is across the parking lot and is a dry park- it also has a little jungle area in the back. I love this dog park ! Just make sure to wash ur pup after! I didn’t one time after and she got mild pink eye. So just bathe your pup after every time!

PARADISE FOR DOGS. I have been a local Floridian for 20+ years and haven’t found a nice park to bring my dog for a day play date. So happy I came here! The lake is absolutely gorgeous with nice blue water and plenty of room to throw toys. My husky and Aussie had the best time! The dog park is also very spacious and has plenty of obstacle courses. Best of all, it’s FREE!! Which nowadays it’s refreshing to not have to spend a bunch of money on the weekend to have fun.

I loved that place. You can bring your bike and have challenges in the bike's path, go to the lake to fish and release them back and take your dog to swimming and do more bbq and boleyball and seeing birds

I have a 10 year old anxiety pup and we finally visited this park for the first time. We loved it. Only removing one star because there is no one really there to monitor the pups. When we got there, it was smooth sailing. All the dogs were super social. About 45 min in, a more aggressive dog arrived and changed the feel of the park. At that point of course everyone's guard went up much higher. We went to another part of the park and we were fine. Only other con is while the vast majority cleaned up after their pets, not everyone did. Overall this is a really great park and we would happily return. If all owners picked up after themselves and owners left aggressive dogs at home until more socialized, it would be perfection.

Love the dog park here! It's my 2nd time actually. I didn't get a good snap of my pups today but you can see the lake is very pretty and peaceful. My dog swam for the first time here years ago. There are also trails but only trained service animals can go on them.

Amazing dog park! Beautiful, safe lake for your dogs to swim in. A large enclosed doggy park next to it. Lots of free parking, bins and poop bags available. Such a great place for the dogs to enjoy :)

Very beautiful to be at. Play frisbee here, volleyball, they have three volleyball courts. A nice stroll through the park is a good suggestion because there's a lot of shade and trees and path ways. They have a public bathroom.. A couple of little parks for the kids and the water is amazing to look at and they have a dog park as well. The only downside for me is that they have no basketball court sadly.

Great place for our dogs to swim, they look forward to their swim weekly. I think it should also have a ramp or smooth walk in path access for dogs that are afraid or not use to steps, to go into the water, or for handicap dogs etc. My dog has a bad hip he was injured when he was a young puppy so he is very afraid of the steps . Just a thought. Love this place!

This is the perfect way to start your day with. Come and enjoy a full day at the park; this is my Spa Sección treatment. This is how I heal my wounds and Spirit elevation by taking me to other dimensions in my Path. Give it a try. Also this upcoming Saturday the have an Event on which we love to see you here. More details in one of the attachments. See you then IverLove. The park opened in 1897 and was Springfield's first major park. The golf course was added in the 1920s and during the economic depression of the 1930s, relief workers added the golf clubhouse, tennis courts, and horseshoe pits.

With all the business and heat of the city this park is a relief. Beautiful walks, frisbee golf, park for the kids, and happy dogs running in the dog park. Great place to relax and have a little nature in the city.

Surprisingly big park with something for everyone. They have nature trails, a dog pond, disc golf, a children’s playground, volleyball, large grills and more. Tons of parking and free admission. There are some covered areas to sit throughout.

We took our 6 month old baby dog to the dog park and to the lake. She had so much fun a met so many new cute friends! They were swimming together, running and playing for an hour. After that she was sleeping like there’s no tomorrow, I’m so happy that she is happy, we are definitely coming back! If you have a dog don’t hesitate and bring them here. If you don’t, they also have an amazing lake inside the park with views and bridges that are stunning.

Love this place for my dogs, water is always clean, sometimes crowded but majority of the time people have control of their fur babies. Today I went and finally the dry side is open and upgraded, grass water hose, play areas of mulch and grass, pavilions. looks great thank you the city of fort lauderdale. much needed cleanup and set up. A fun safe place for you and your fur babies:)

Doggie Oasis: Tucked away on the southeast side of Broward County, hides Snyder Park. Mostly known by locals for catering to their furry friends, you don’t have to have a pooch to enjoy the view, games, barbie, butterflies and edible garden. If you are looking to take a short nature hike in the middle of the city, this might be the perfect spot. It sure was for me this morning with my old bud Tyson, a robust 7 year old mutt who knows all the best parks in town.

Nice place, pretty clean and lots of trees and wildlife. The dog beach is cool but I saw some of the bigger dogs escape and run lose. Saw lots of monkeys, iguanas, raccoons, and squirrels; and some ducks and Coyotes as well.

We (Milo) + I love Snyder park! The freshwater lake is fantastic, not busy during the morning while it picks up during the evening and weekends, it’s never been “at capacity” Milo loves the agility course across the parking lot as well and that dog park supplies water bowls, an agility course, and small/ large dog play areas 😊 The signs say only service dogs allowed in the park itself, but I have never had an issue with Milo on a leash with me or biking alongside me This is a MUST for any dog owner in SoFlo!

Best South Florida disc golf course I have played. Well laid out in a beautiful, clean, and spacious park with amazing trees and two lakes that come into play on holes 3 & 4.

Beautiful! Close to the airport and off site rental car agencies. My dog loved it! Great place to stretch our legs!

Beautiful park. I have driven past this place literally dozens of times without ever pulling in to check it out. Very nice place to come on a lunch break park your car and chill out. Just staring at the color of the water is relaxing and there’s a very cool section for dogs to swim. A lot of nice little hidden gem areas. You can drive up to the park or walk through it and leave your car at the beginning.

Great place to bring the family. They have all sorts of activities

Gorgeous space for pups to play! Large lake with different water levels but plenty of shallow places for small dogs to feel comfortable. My beagle always has a blast in the water! Then I take her across to the actual fenced in dog park and she does some more running around. By the time we get home she wants to do nothing but nap! Highly recommend it to be at least a once a month occurrence.

I walked here from FLL airport. It was not paved for a lot of it and only for the adventurous. It takes about 35-40 minutes for physically fit folks. Google gave me walking directions and they worked. Head towards the cell phone parking lot then a straight shot down Perimeter Road. I saw turtles, butterflies, ducks, iguanas, and swimming dogs. I might Uber here next time I have a long wait at FLL. I did not find food or shops nearby but there must be.

This park is really great. It has 2 nice dog areas - one has fresh water swimming! My dogs have so much fun going there!

Very nice park, beautiful lake. Disc golf course is nice but the water hole seems like a disc eater so I skip it. Course currently only open Sunday and Monday. Bring money for parking, don't get a ticket.

  • 4/5 Crystal P. 2 years ago on Google
Visited this park for the disc golf course and was not disappointed. There is quite a bit of walking between holes but worth it. Just allot extra time if you want to complete all 18 holes. The park closes and the gates lock at 7pm, they will drive around and give you a warning but once the gate locks, your vehicle is locked in for the night. Great park, will definitely visit again.

My best friends favorite place to play! She will run, jump and swim all day here. The next best thing about this place, other than the smile on her face is how awesome all the other dog owners are. If you own one of those breeds who play too rough, I highly suggest you bring that breed of dog to this park as soon as they have learned their name, the younger the better. I'm suggesting you do this to socialize your dog from an early age. All the older dogs I've come across here have been raised properly and know how to play with other dogs in a fun and friendly way because the owners raised them right. As an aggressive breed owner, it's your responsibility to tame the aggressiveness. These are typically high energy dogs, so lots of running and swimming helps release that built up energy and releasing that energy with other dogs of different shapes and sizes helps them learn how to interact with other breeds a bit more properly. This isn't the end all cure all, but if you start at an early age, this is a great place to bring those breeds and prove that they can be just as loving, playful, and friendly as every other dog! I came to Snyder park 2-3 times a week with my pitbull stating at 3-4 months old, and because of the great socializing skills she learned from the other dogs and the things I learned from talking to the other owners, those interactions helped make her everyone's favorite pit inside and outside of the park! There are other fun things to do here, but for dog lovers this is a hidden gem! If it's your first time you're gonna need to ask where the dog lake is. And if your doggies like the water, I highly suggest wearing water shoes, bringing their favorite toy to play fetch with, and something to eat and drink for the both of you, cuz you're going to stay longer than expected! Thank you to the park employees for keeping the place beautiful, and thank you to the responsible dog owners who frequent the park!

I have lived down the road from this park for the past 4 years but have just recently discovered it. It is pretty big and there are a bunch of places to walk and explore! Definitely a spot to visit and get your steps in! 😊
