Cute small historical park with a small nature center. Federally protected Tequesta native land. Small, cool, intimate nature trail with many different butterfly species. Fun archaeology programs for the kids. Night hike and BYOM (Bring your own Marshmallow) camp fires. A variety of native and non-native animals to see throughout the trails. No dogs allowed though. Not the park with the horses or playground.

It has quite the rustic feel as there aren't many visitors. The paths are clearly marked with cut logs but also offer a bit of mystery as they turn and curve as you follow them along. The Butterfly Garden was my favorite part of the trail. You'd never know you were in North Miami except for the traffic noise from Biscayne Blvd. Parts are closed off due to the pandemic, I'd visit again to check out the museum.

This is a beautiful historical memorial park, it is beautiful as if plunged into the past of untouched nature, big spiders and butterflies. There is a museum house in it, the smell of antiquity gives more imagination how our ancestors lived. This place relieves from the bustle of the city, I advise you to visit this beautiful place

Went at night for a guided hike and then had s'mores by the campfire. The two ladies who guided us did an excellent job.

Loved this little loop trail that had me feeling like I was in Hawaii. Lush tropical oasis of banyan trees to truly feel like you are in a tropical forest. Just a 5 min walk from Enchanted forest Elaine Gordon Park. Can do both in one day and feel completely rejuvenated.

Take a walk back in time to Florida before the construction and civilization as you explore trails that are pristine and natural. There is a very small museum (one small room) to browse and a few picnic benches.

The trails are so much fun, they are a bunch and have great flow with challenging climbs, drops, and plenty of technical parts. Note: Many trails are roughly maintained, and you can easily take a wrong turn, so stay aware. This also makes for a more make your own line in the trails, which is a lot of fun.

👍 This park is part of a 249 parcel of land that is split into east and west sides of Greynold's Park. In ancient times, the Tequesta used the river for travel and in the 1800's, the Seminoles set up a trading post to service early Miami settlers. Later on the land was a limestone quarry.
