Such a fun experience to do in Miami! Although it does get busy at times, the pool itself is huge so it never feels too crowded! There is a smaller “beach” area to relax, as well as areas around the pool. Lounging chairs can be rented for $7 as well. Food was your typical snack shop foods (chicken tenders, fries, hot dog, etc.) and took a while to actually get. I would eat beforehand if possible! Overall, a great experience to go do in Miami if you have never done! Not sure if it is worth it to go again and again, but for the experience I would go at least once!

I had an awesome experience at the venetian pool! We purchased entry tickets online and it costed $16 for the entire day. The pool has lots of waterfalls and ranges from 4-8 feet deep. The water was a bit cold but otherwise amazing. There was a small beach area for tanning and relaxing. The restrooms, showers and locker rooms were very clean. I'll definitely be back!

I mean when the weather is right I love this place. I just walked by here the other day and I guess Google picked up my location. If you never been here I would highly recommend it. It’s fun the water is fresh and freezing. The food is actually pretty good. The water is deep so keep that in mind. They do have a kiddie section and safety jackets. But there is really no in between. It’s either kid section or pretty deep and even deeper. The grotto is really cool if it’s open. And you can jump off the grotto too if it’s allowed depends at times. I love this place one of my fave summer hidden spots. Get there early parking is a bit rough.

Beautiful pool with lots of local history about Coral Gables. Water is cool and refreshing. Plenty of loungers for rent, beach sand area to lay out in the sun, picnic tables and shady areas. Cafe on site with bathrooms and showers.

This place has been here so many years! A private pool located in Coral Gables, but non residents can pay $21 non-refundable no matter rain or shine for the day! There is a waterfall, smaller shallow pool, and underwater cave. Picnic seating and seating under covering. There is a mini beach and a little Cafe to see get food that is reasonably priced. Now note if there is inclement weather they will remove you from the pools and outdoor seating for your safety. They will not refund your money..no matter how long you have been there. So choose wisely. Other than that this was a great place to spend the day. The safe was super nice and knowledgeable about the history of the pool!

My friend wanted to visit the Venetian Pool for her birthday, so off we went, two locals who had not before visited this lovely place! What an historic and beautiful pool for locals and visitors, alike. We went on a weekday, low season, dodging a bit of rain, but it didn’t matter. The grounds are lovely, the pool water is cool and refreshing with varying depths for serious swimmers like us, and those who just wish to enjoy some fun in the water. The lush tropical surroundings add to the ambiance. There are lifeguards on duty, and some chairs and benches around the perimeter of the pool. We opted to pay the $7 for a lounge chair. Ladies Room, showers and dressing areas are spotlessly clean. There are lockers if you prefer, but we just took our bags poolside. There are areas to picnic outdoors and also lovely wrought iron tables and chairs on the veranda. We parked easily and adjacent to the facility. Front desk personnel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The admission is $21, but it was less due to the time of year, September. As you enter, inside you will find a fountain and on the surrounding walls photos of swimmers in their fashionable swimwear across the decades. It’s interesting to view the historical time line of this place since 1924! We grabbed cheeseburgers and sodas from the small, but efficient and pleasant cafe. A beautiful day, indeed, and a place to add to your things to do when you are in South Florida or even if you live here, like us!

We had a great time. The locals get a great discount. If you are not a local who has a million plus house that wouldn't go there you pay $21I think$12.50 to $15 is a much more suitable price .The operation time also needs adjustment open until 5:30pm on the weekdays and 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. It should be opposite close at 4:30pm on the weekdays and 5:30 on the weekends. Very well maintained and very beautiful and clean.

A real life Oasis right in Coral Gables!! Fed by an underground spring water aquifer, this pool is over 800,000 gallons! Drained and refilled every other day, with only 1 gallon of chlorine added, so almost like swimming in a clean, sterile lake, and oh, so refreshing! 2 waterfalls, grotto like caves make this a unique pool unlike any other. Tropical, lush landscaping, plenty of shaded areas with umbrellas, picnic tables and trees make a great spot for a picnic. Numerous areas with sand, wading pool, and benches. Locker room with showers, and lockable storage. On site snack bar as well. Numerous life guard on duty. Just a relaxing spot.

I went to the Venetian Pool with a friend on Friday just to check it out. I’ve lived in South Florida for 50 years and this is a hidden gem! It is such a beautiful place! The spring water is crystal clear and refreshing. The grotto is awesome as are the waterfalls! The lifeguards are all very friendly and helpful. I plan to go again soon with more friends and family!!!❤️

We had an excellent time at the pool. On a Thursday morning to mid afternoon it was relatively empty. The caves would close and then reopen every 30 or so minutes. While we personally did not try it, the food smelled delicious (especially for pool food!). Lounge chairs can be rented but there is free seating as well. Plenty of shade, too. At this point in the season they are charging less than what is lost online (for non residents). I would recommend checking the prices at the ticket booth when you arrive and oursading directly from them or online at that time.

Wow such a beautiful establishment, with cool history 🫢 The pool is made of limestone & huge so even when it's crowded you still feel like you have your own bubble to swim in. The Caves can get packed but every once in awhile it clears out and you can enjoy it to yourself. You also can climb the waterfall and hide underneath. The Water Is also SUPER refreshing, especially in comparison to south beach. Cons: Locker situation wasn't clear until we entered - so make sure you get a coin for a locker when you buy tickets otherwise you'll have to wait in line again. Minimal seating. It's best to rent a lounge chair otherwise there's picnic tables & benches but they get taken quickly. So for just the two of us we sat by the pool & used a locker. Overall Highly recommend a visit was a great experience and will return 👍

Beautiful place to visit with family. It is a historical (1920’s!) landmark in coral gables and the only spring water pool in the United States. The entry is around $16 for non-residents of coral gables, but worth going to experience the Mediterranean ambiance and fresh spring water. They refill the pool every single day during summer and they have an area full of sand to lay out in the sun. Definitely a must go place in gables!

We had a great time. It’s a beautiful place to hang out and be relax. The cost for someone that is not a Coral Gables residents is $18. We came on Wednesday so I believe is better if you don’t want to be bother with kids running and yelling around you (lol) The waterfalls, the caverns are awesome. The water looks clean but the pool’s floor was slimy and brown… with a brown layer on some areas. The restrooms were really clean and there were a lot of lifeguards. A lot of free parking lot do no worries about it.

This was such a fun and unique experience. The grounds are beautiful. They look very natural and they blend in with the rest of the area. They do not stick out like a tourist attraction, it complements the area. The staff were friendly. The concession area was closed which we knew ahead of time because it was very clearly advertised. There were vending machines with snacks like chips and soda. The facility is older but seemed very well maintained. Working bathrooms. The toilet paper dispenser was broken in the stall I used. Bathrooms were otherwise clean. The hand dryer looked like it was from the 80s. There's non-slip pads all over the area to prevent slips and falls. There's a smaller more shallow area for kids to play or adults to lounge. My only complaint is the pool itself. There were a lot of areas where it felt really slimy. It just felt nasty. I couldn't see algae but there was some sort of biofilm growing. I don't believe they are heavy with the chlorination in the pool which is nice because chlorine smells pungent and is hard on your skin. Water smelled very clean and was very clear. The water gets pretty deep, up to 8ft at the waterfall. It looks like you used to be able to walk by the waterfall but thats now gated off. There was also an area by the small lounge pool that was blocked off by wood. I would definitely come back here again. It was so enjoyable.

Went here 40 years ago as a kid. It still had the same charm. Non residents pay a little more but it's public swimming pool like no other. Clean, friendly and multiple lifeguards on duty. Changing rooms with lockers. Bathrooms of course Clean as well. Don't forget to swim into the caves. This was an old limestone rock quarry converted approx 100 yrs ago to a public swimming center.tjere is a sandy Beach like area near the pool. The waterfall is neat as well A lot of history here. Old school Miami. Have fun!

The pool is really nice and big. It has caves, 2 Waterfalls, picnic area, and beach like area. My only complaint is the price, it's $20 per adult if you're a non Coral Gable resident and $15 per children if non Coral Gable resident. I will not visit this place again it's not worth the price.

Love this place. The water is not heated, a little cold & chilly, once you get use to it, not bad on a hot humid day. They have chair rentals if you come early, for $ 7, you can buy tickets online or at the window. They have a sand area or a non-sand area, tables and umbrellas to eat at.

The Venetian Pool is the only swimming pool on the National Register of Historic Places. A whopping 820,000 gallons of fresh spring water, fed by a Florida aquifer below ground. The pool is carved into the lime rock grounds. Its a rare experience that one can only find in Miami. One of the most historic places in Miami that is protected for future generations to enjoy. Its worth the entry price. Bring a cooler with refreshments and lay out in the sun.

Wonderful place to spend the entire day! You can bring your own food and drinks, but no coolers, alcohol, or glass. They limit how many people can enter per day so I suggest getting their 1st thing!

Family vacation from NJ to Miami. We decided to stop by this area and try out the pool. The entrance was a bit pricey for the size but parking was a pro. It’s rare to find free parking in Miami. Very nice experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others that come out to visit.

Great place to take your kids for the day. The pool is fed from a natural Spring, so expect it to be a bit colder, but it was perfect on a very hot day. There is a cave that the kids will enjoy and an area to sit inside. You can also swim out to the waterfall and sit under it. The facility was very clean and well kept. You can rent chairs for $7 and there's also food if you don't bring your own. There's a beach area with sand and a section with picnic tables and umbrellas. They have life jackets in various sizes if you need them. Get there early so you can find a parking spot across the street.

Fun experience to do in Miami! There is a smaller “beach” area to relax, as well as areas around the pool. There’s a little caves and a rainfalls spaces, you would go at least once! You must arrive early because they close the door as soon as it reaches its maximum capacity…

Great place to spend a day relaxing poolside. Tickets cost $20 per person for non residents. There was plenty of parking, however during peak times/season there might not be enough. You are able to swim under the waterfall and there is a smaller waterfall area that you can sit in, however the grottos were closed when we went. There are lounge chairs available or benches around the pool and the bathrooms have lockers for your stuff.

I went there with my friends and we had a great time. We had a lot of fun exploring the cave and going under the waterfall. The workers were nice especially the lifeguards. They have free chairs to sit down if you don’t want that you can rent a lounge chair for $5 you’ll gave it all day. They also provide life jackets. The bathroom was supper clean. I definitely recommend going there with your friends or family. You will not regret it. Go have a relax day okay

This looks like a cool place to swim in, but it's closed for the winter season, so I was only able to take pictures outside of the gate. It will re-open on Feb 2nd, 2022. There are dozens of parking spots available, but I could imagine them getting all full in the peak season. The opening hours on Google map need to be updated.

I visited this terrific pool during my last Miami trip 12 y ago and I liked it very much. This time I wanted to show it to my kids, so we drove there on purpose some day at the beginning of Jan. Unfortunately, it was closed and fenced all around like it was in the renovation process. We peeked through and saw the pool empty. Check before you're going if it's open.

Beautiful pool and crystal clear water. Buy tickets in advance if you are not a coral gables resident. You can swim in the caves and grottos. Highly recommend to get there early to avoid crowds and get parking. Can’t wait to go back again.

The best!! Just make sure you get there early enough because entrance does close when capacity is reached. And children under 3 are not allowed, so don't come with them or you will get turned away. It's currently $15/adult for non-Coral Gables residents

This place is stunning, ignore those who complain about the cost. It is so worth it even if you go once it would leave a lasting impression. As soon as you walk in you feel transported into a resort, it has this untouched rustic beauty that is enhanced by the elegance of the architecture. There are life jackets available considering most of the pool is 5ft deep or deeper. There is also a shallower pool around 2 ft deep for the kiddies. I had no problem navigating the water once put a life jacket on (no, I cant swim). There was a cave that you can enter which provides a cool photo op if you have a water proof phone and you can go under the waterfall as well. I went on a Friday so the place was not packed. They have benches around if you do not want to pay for a lounge chair which I believe was only $5 to rent. They do have showers along with a locker room. I did not get anything to eat during my stay. My only words of advice it to wear sunblock because while there are shaded areas the pool is completely exposed. Overall I had such a great time, this place has been on my bucket list for a little while now definitely worth it to come.

A bit of a mixed experience here. This is a truly unique place and you should definitely check it out. I can't believe they allow you to go in the caves and bask on the rock formations - it's so cool. It's fresh water and is cool, clean, and refreshing. On the other hand, they have a nickle-and-dime kind of business model, which I'm not crazy about. Definitely bring your own towel - they will not have towels available unless you choose to purchase one for $8. They also make you pay to rent lounge chairs, which just feels a step too far. You certainly can get by without doing so, but it's not the comfy poolside experience that would be common at a hotel, for example. There is a cafe on site, that we did not try. I also think we had a nice time in part because we came on an off day when it was a little cooler, so it wasn't crowded.

It's supposed to look vintage, but it looks a bit run down. The water was infested with dead bugs and leaves like haven't cleaned in a while. There were stains on the pool floor everywhere, but I think that's supposed to be part of the charm. The bathrooms had this sewer like smell that irritated my nose. They were observing Covid-19 guidelines, but I couldn't seem to immerse myself in the history surrounding the pool. It didnt hit its mark.

Some of the benches are really old, they need to be changed. The cafeteria is under remodeling through spring 2024, but they allow non alcoholic drinks and food in. Other than that, I really like this place! The water was so nice!

It all so great, count on paying non resident $20 for each adult person regardless if you go into the water or not. Food onsite is okay, you can bring your own in your bag and enjoy later as well. The cave is periodically opened throughout the day which is nice:)- because of short staff, so they monitor the cave for safety. The waterfall is great, make sure you can swim in the deeper area of not put on your life vest, no noodles aloud in 6-&+ feet water. Overall it’s a great experience & you can bring your floaty and noodles to use in 5 feet water:). Yes bottom of pool Is not so finished in some areas and could use a paint job here ans there, and a little more cleaning in pool regardless it’s a great experience. Ps get ready to spend $5 for a lawn chair:/ or sit in on benches no cost extra.

Such a magical and beautiful place. I've been coming since I was a kid and it hasn't changed much, Thank God! It's hidden and you wouldn't expect this peaceful oasis in the middle of Miami. It's pricey and you can't bring your own food, so when you're hungry...it's even more pricey at the cafe. We love coming here though. There's plenty to do. It's a natural spring, so no harmful chemicals makes this my top choice for swimming. If you haven't been, you gotta try it!

Although the pool itself is very beautiful and worth checking out, it is very expensive to visit if you don't plan on spending a full day there. $21/ adult (13+) non-local. Plus, you have to pay for every little thing, it seemed... lockers, beach chairs, etc.. The lifeguards did announce that life jackets were "free" for anyone who wanted to use one. I think you were allowed to bring outside food and drink as they did have picnic tables, if you could manage to get one before they were all taken, although no food or drinks were permitted near the actual pool. Signage was mediocre at best to make people aware of things like having to rent beach chairs, locations of lockers, etc... It was a bit of a disappointment for us just wanting to spend an hour or so to check it out in our limited time we had to spend in the area.

Such a beautiful place to spend your day! The pool was nearly empty so we had lots of space to explore and for my daughter to play. Masks required right now anytime you're out of the pool which worked just fine. Excited to go back!

Venetian Pool is stunning! As soon as you walk through the entrance you feel like you're stepping into a hidden oasis. There is a cave you can enter which makes for a cool photo op if you have a water-resistant phone. I went on a Friday so it wasn't too packed or busy which is a plus. My only recommendation is to bring sunblock because while there is a lot of shaded areas at this pool, it's completely exposed to the sunlight. Overall I had an incredible time here! I recommend it.

It’s a beautiful place! All of the employees were fantastic-helpful, kind and pleasant. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I was looking forward to the “caves” but they were closed during our visit. The locker rooms with showers and changing areas were good. It’s at the maximum for what I’d be willing to pay, but it is more if you are not a Coral Gables resident and that is understandable. We enjoyed our time and I would recommend a visit.

My kids are going to the guard start program and junior life guard program. My son really enjoyed the guard start program, but they didn't give him a certificate like the program description said. My daughter starts junior life guard program Monday so we'll see how that goes. The place is beautiful though, they have waterfalls, caves, sand, food and a nice shallow area for the younger kids. Kids under 3 can't go in though.

Visited in 2014. It's like an oasis in the middle of Coral Gables neighborhood. Huge and impressive swimming pool, which makes you feel like in Veneza due to its decoration and atmosphere. It's a very good place to have a break when in Miami, mainly in a pretty hot day during the summer.

Great pubic pool! Absolutely stunning! Swimming under the waterfalls was spectular! Grotto was amazing! Many lifeguards on duty checking every corner, they did a fantastic job. I was very happy to see that. The only reason I didn't give them five stars, is because at 4:10 we were kicked out of the pool! They close at 4:30, on the weekend. So instead of letting us swim till 4:30, they made us get out of the water early , so we could be out of the park by 4:30. I drove up from Key West, so I was very disappointed that it wasn't open till at least 6 on a weekend when daylight savings time is still in effect. You also cannot bring children under 3, we had a 4 year old. When we called we were not advised to this. I'm so lucky that he was able to get in. I would have been very upset if we drove all that way and couldn't go.

Absolutely loved it. Even though it was a Sunday and had some people, we were able to find our spot that was comfortable. Pool felt safe. The workers were good at their jobs and took the responsibility seriously.

Felt like we landed in a different country for a few hours. Extremely beautiful! Very clear water. There are lounge chairs available for rent ($7 per chair at the time I visited). There is also a sandy "beach" area if you want to just lay on a towel or beach sheet. I brought my own food as I prefer not to eat the "fast food" served there but there are quite a few options available. The coffee was great, though. Will definitely return!!! (Note: no alcohol or smoking premises). Thank you @CoralGables for upkeeping this beautiful oasis!!

Come early on the weekdays then you’ll have the whole pool for yourself. Recommend to get tix online. It’s so worth it and I had so much fun in the pool. It’s also interesting to learn about the history of this place.

We spent here a day at the end of February with the family. Very nice place with friendly staff and clean facility. They have a cafeteria inside where you can buy food. Our daughter had a lot of fun!
