This park is immense with plenty to do for the entire family. There is no fee to enter compared to other county parks. There’s an entrance on Bird Road and one at Miller Drive. Great place with plenty of trails for jogging, walking or biking. If you want a high intense workout go up the famous hill in the rear of the park. Plenty of lakes for fishing and tables for picnics or bring a blanket and sit on the grass under a tree for shade. Their Pavilions are for rent for large gatherings for birthday parties or other celebrations 🥳 This weekend we went for a walk early in the morning we approached one of the bathrooms and saw the “orange caution cones” thinking it was closed we drove to the next one and it also had same cones, I went inside. So, clearly bathrooms are cleaned and floors mopped every morning. 😊 Plenty to do at this family friendly park! They also have baseball fields, batting cages, tennis, racquetball and plenty of trails. You cannot walk with your dog in the park trails or you will be fined. I am a dog lover and empathize but many dog owners do not pick up after their dogs! Which explains why there is a gated dog park for dogs to socialize with other dogs. 🐶 Thank you Miami-Dade for enforcing rules and maintaining our parks clean for us to enjoy. 😃

Awesome park! Has a lot of ducks and baby ducklings too! Great for kids and to run! It’s a huge park with a exercise section, playground , and a big big hill! You can buy ice creams, and rent bikes, ect. It’s very nice for some nature time! Also has a dog park and very nice picnic areas!

I helped with an event several weeks ago. They rented a pavilion that had a roll-up concessions counter, which was used as a beverage station. The place was huge a very nice location and area of the park. It has been many years since I last was at Tropical Park. I most definitely will be back.

It is an excellent sports complex with magnificent structural conditions, in addition to that it has an immense area for covid-19 tests inside your car with entrance on the 40. SW and in the same entrance is the area to get the vaccine of your choice . Also next to the basketball court they offer monoclonal antibody therapy.

I love this park! I've been coming to this park since 1995. It's a beautiful park and it is well set up. There are so many things here: Paved paths for walking/running/biking, picnic tables, pavilions, playgrounds, lakes, workout area, kids play area, tennis courts, racket ball courts, basketball courts, This park is well-maintained. I love that this park is dog-friendly because my adventure dogs like to go on outings with us. This park is perfect for outings alone, with your dogs, and/or with your family.

The Haunted Circus Miami was a great family friendly event. It's inside Tropical Park. You can see signs directing the way. You have 3 parking choices. Self- free a little far. The $5 self parking or valet for $10. The tickets are sold online. Once you buy your tickets you will get a detailed email of everything. The circus is big. It has a petting zoo, food vendors, magicians, pumpkin carving, a quest and much more my advice is to get here an hour before the show. It will take u over an hour to do it all. The circus is not scary. It's more cute for smaller children. In fact you will see many little ones all around. The show is good. I liked it. It was entertaining. I had a good time. The stage is in the middle of this big, open spacey, covered tent. You sit on top of hay square. It is pretty comfortable. I had a good time. It was put together well.

If tropical Park where to be referenced as a movie it would fit into the category of timeless classic. Tropical Park has a lush landscape with a variety of activities available and no cost to the community. Whether you’re looking to have a picnic by the lake, go for a bike ride, a run, pushing kids in strollers , playing basketball, baseball, softball, baby showers , this is the spot. The park has tons of parking and there’s so much more that I haven’t even mentioned! Go build memories that will last a lifetime.

Huge park with all kinds of sports activities one can imagine. The park has nearly everithing. Also numerous gazibos and shelters are aveilable for rent for a party. As a result nearly 50 parties are happening in the park simultaneoust. This is the place where people truly know how to rest.

Had a great time at the tennis tournament. Dogs at the park? And lounging in the parking lot ... brand new paddle courts. Pickle ball coming soon.

On vacation and was looking for some green space kick around a soccer ball and shoot some baskets. COVID testing and vaccinations are apparently happening there too so avoid the North entrance if possible. The small soccer fields and goals were locked. Not sure why. The basketball courts were nice and overall the park was clean with lots of space and designated spaces for sports. Though many like the small soccer fields were inaccessible.

Excelente place to relax and breathe fresh air. You can have a nice walk along with your dog. I love going to this park w friends and family, you can make a BBQ, play domino and even take a nap( you won’t need a fan) 😂😂🤣. My only complaint is that they only have one bathroom in the middle of the park, and is always close

Tropical Park is to Miami what Central Park is to NYC, a beautiful place to relax, exercise, enjoy family and friends gathering, and most importantly, connect with mother nature. This Park has everything you can imagine in a large extension of paved pathways (from Bird Road entrance to Miller Drive exit or entrance, however you use it), Lots of green, beautiful trees and lakes, if you have pets, there is a Bark Park, playgrounds, a Racquetball court, a Baseball field, Basketball court, Tennis court, Boxing ring, Soccer field, Sofball field, Equestrian center, and a Track & Field and a stadium. The restrooms are always clean, and the picnic shelters are well kept and clean as well, perfect for birthday celebrations. I am very happy to have this park just a few mins driving from home, so I can enjoy it any time. If you are visiting Miami and have a few hours to spare, do not hesitate to visit our Park 💯🌴

Great family park. There's bike rentals and a bunch of basketball courts, baseball fields, and other fun stuff to do. You can also rent pavilions for private events such as birthday parties, baby showers, or plain old get-together.

Park is very big and nice, but I must say that they keep their bathrooms closed and they have portable toilets which is not good for families to take their children. Infants and toddlers have to be changed out in the open which is not good. Besides that is a big and nice park.

We visited Tropical Park on December 31st, for the Christmas Wonderland Park, and we had a great time! It wasn't overly crowded, which was a plus, lots of beautiful places to take pictures with your family and lots of rides for the little ones. The food is very expensive, but hey, it is to be expected in an amusement park. I'd recommend having lunch or dinner before going there, since just a couple of elotes and brochetas can go as high as 80$ and drinks like coconut milk cost around 10$ a small cup. Again, Park prices are to be expected lol. It was worth it, tho, beautiful pictures and memories that will last forever.

KUDOS to the staff for keeping this park immaculately clean. Haven't been here in years. It brought back lots of childhood memories from high school. The areas are nicely spaced out, especially for bigger events and ample parking for all. Thinking of having a corporate event there.

Very iconic park in the heart of Miami, so many activities and places to explore here, I always love going there when in the area. Great for gatherings with many picnic areas and plenty functional restroom all throughout, different playgrounds, sport fields, courts, lakes, clubs and dog friendly... must love tropical park.

"I have to say that my experience in the softball league at Tropical Park has been extremely disappointing. The maintenance staff is simply terrible at their job. On multiple occasions, we have arrived at the playing fields only to find surfaces in poor condition, full of potholes, and completely unsafe. What's worse is that it seems like the maintenance staff is looking for excuses to avoid working. They are not fulfilling their responsibilities to properly prepare and maintain the fields. This has not only affected our experience as players but has also jeopardized our safety. It's unbelievable that in a sports league where players invest time and effort to compete and enjoy the game, we are facing this lack of professionalism from the maintenance staff. It's time for the league management to take serious steps to address this issue. This situation not only negatively impacts the quality of the games but also tarnishes the league's overall image. I'm confident that this review reflects the sentiments of many other players. I hope the league takes immediate action to improve field maintenance and restore its .

Honestly, I really don't understand what's happening here lately in these parks, I've been playing softball in these stadiums for more than 10 years and lately the staff doesn't want to do anything, they don't even prepare the stadiums in advance, I understand that when it rains hard you can't do nothing, but many times it is not the occasion and they cancel because of stupid puddles in the middle of the field, when we all know that the park has the machinery, products and personnel in this park, the truth is I do not understand it and it is so disrespectful For the players and for the league, which for so many years has contributed thousands of dollars to the county, on top of that all the taxes that one as a taxpayer normally contributes, these parks have lost that essence of pleasure to practice and compete in them, I hope that Look from deep inside and fix this because the truth is I don't believe that the county, which is really not to blame for two or three who don't want to work, will lose a league full of good atmosphere and healthy socialization and also contributes thousands of dollars to it.

Beautiful and large. There is so much to do. There are plenty of basketball courts, bike/walk/run trails, fishing, padding, and more. I am excited to take my bike and ride the trails around the park. I hope to stop along the way and take my child to the playground, too.

Large, well-maintained park. Beautiful trees and greenery. There are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. It has a nice lake, a dogs' play area, and picnic areas. However, during the weekend it is too crowded and noisy.

This is (I believe) the biggest park in Miami. It has almost everything to please any taste. Most sports can be practiced here, as there are installations/fields for most of them, there are plenty of green areas, barbecues in several areas, plenty of picnic tables with benches, etc. The park measures a mile from north to south and half a mile from east to west. It has paths all around, for jogging, biking, or even renting family cars with pedals. The entrance is free and it is a very enjoyable place to be.

Always a pleasure coming over here. It is one of the biggest Parks I've ever been to in Florida. And it has my childhood memories built in Santa's enchanted Forest. This park has a basketball court, football stadium, baseballs fields, soccer fields, tennis fields, playground area, bathrooms, and I'm pretty sure I'm missing something else. But yeah that's what they got oh yeah and I think they have a pool too.

Haunted Circus false advertising for sure. All over social media they were very dark and omninous. Performers on the video looked nothing like that in person. It was a complete joke just stuff for kids very disappointed. Also no signs anywhere. We had no idea where to go in the park. Super disappointed.

Thank you for a one of a kind experience! My daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves. My daughter may become the next equestrian because she really loves horses, riding horses, feeding the horses and watching the shows. We are bonding after losing my other daughter, her sister and this was the perfect place. We were able to get a library card, but some plants for the house, exercise (by keep moving) get henna tattoos and try different food trucks. Thank you for having these FREE community events, that’s welcomes inclusion as well, we had such an amazing time.

It was very nice the Miami Dade Country Fest and Haley and her horse zero the horse performer was very sweet and loving but unfortunately, I was pick pocketed and my wallet was stolen from my purse today. Please be very careful and aware in the crowd that crooks are among them. A transaction was made immediately charge in my credit card. Is a very sad world we are living in that we go out to enjoy with your family and this happens. BE AWARE OF THIEF IN THE EVENT.

Amazing Park but unsure of it's safety. We found 3 beheaded white doves on a plate with a half of a coconut shell with something wrapped up in meat paper and then a tall white dove cake....it was on the top of the large hill near the dog park which overlooks the playground and entire park....it's supposedly a satanic sacrifice to obtain extreme power and is from the book of Judas. Very unsafe if you ask me. Keep your eyes open while here and def carry protection.

We always enjoy. It’s a solid, sizable park & a Miami staple. Plenty of nature trails, courts, fields, exercise stations & kiddie playgrounds. The larger kids’ playground has sand & a cool little, rocky hill behind it.

We came here as a spooky date night for the Haunted Circus experience, and we loved it!! It's best to get your tickets and come while you still can! It's a great experience for kids, even small kids and also adults have a great time and are entertained too! The Miami culture is still engrained into the show and into the foods they have available, it's really worth the visit. With all the mini side quest they have available before the main show, you'll have a blast as it's so interactive.
