Very nice PUBLIC park... but here's the issue: the wealthy residents around the park decided to close access to every single street that leads to the park and installed barricades manned by private security guards. You can still get to the park, after explaining to the security guard that you're "just going to the park". My question is why do you have to bow to a private security guard to access a public park through public streets financed with everybody's taxes? And who authorized that?

It was too windy to go kayaking but nice to walk and see lots of banyan trees. It is gated so we needed to say that we just go to the park to the security guard. Restroom was pretty clean but make sure to bring toilet paper.

A small park with a Kayak rental area, bbq areas, childrens playground and a baseball field. I did a birthday with the Kayak rental agency, Morningside Watersports and it was really fun. Rentals not available when there is high winds, or lightning. There are plenty of picnic tables and grassed areas for enjoying with family or friends.

Lovely park! There's an easy access boat ramp. You can bring your dog, ride bikes, enjoy nature. I love this tucked away park. It's a hidden gem

A hidden jem. Rent a kayak or byo to explore the beauty of nature, steps away from the city, hop on and off the nearby islands

How can you enjoy a public park if a park ranger drives around every day and harass everyone. He telling people they can’t even smoke a cigarette in the park or fish . Is this what we voted for?? This park was given to the city by a lady. The city is breaking the rules of the deed….

We did not have a good experience here. The vibe of the playground was intimidating to us as first time users. Our young children felt it too and refused to get down from our arms and play. They felt very insecure. It was a lovely park but it felt very unfriendly. We will not be returning to this playground.

The best little park on the water that you didn't know existed It can seem a little tricky to enter but just follow navigation and pass through the guard station. Tennis courts, basketball, big walking trails and more. Enjoy and be respectful as always!

I used to come to this park often. Today, I arrived and as soon as I got my dog out of the car I was approached by a park ranger who told me I had to leave the park because my dog was off the leash. I immediately put her in the leash and asked why I had to leave. He said I need to go and think about what I did (his words) so I responded stating it was unnecessary. I then left and at the front of the community the security guard was speaking to a person who witnessed this and told me they hear the ranger telling me to leave and come back, which I did. So the security told me to turn around and that he would vouch for me leaving and then returning. I go back to the park and leave my mom with my dog, on the leash while I go bike riding. This ranger sees me and follows me on the golf cart telling me he said I had to leave. So I said I left and came back like he said. He then started threatening me saying he would teach me a lesson the hard way and said he knew which one was my car and took off in full speed towards the parking lot. I kept asking him for his name as I wanted to make a complaint and he kept driving. He then stopped at my car where I made a video asking for his name and kept saying he would teach me a lesson. He then called the cops and parked accross my mom and my dog staring at them. The cops arrived and said he was accusing me of trespassing and since he was the park authority they couldn’t do anything and I had to leave. All of this because my dog was off the leash for 10 seconds getting out of the car. The security at the front stated several complaints have been made about this person for abuse of power. Here is another one.

Nice park for families, huge open areas which is great for picnic or other activities. There are picnic tables and grills available. There is a playground, tennis and basketball area. To find this park, you have to go through what looks like a gated community but it is a public park.

We were visiting Miami for a few hours and stopped here on our way to the airport. It was our first time seeing dolphins playing in the water and a ton of little crabs along the water front. I turned around and got scared of a crab that was just glaring at me. I also got a photo of a little dolphin fin. Taking video was much easier to see them dancing. The neighborhood around the park was cool too. Lots of beautiful homes for sale.

Very nice park on the water of biscayne bay. It is well organized to play tennis with plenty of courts and a small fence to prevent balls from crossing said courts. It is priced fairly, as well. The park also has walking paths, a playground, basketball courts, kayak rentals, and plenty of parking! 💫Add me on IG @MiamiCheatDays for more recommendations

What's up googlers it's your boy Henry, and I am back at it again on another review for you guys!!!! Me and my friend were driving from the other side of town, so it took us about 30 minutes 40 minutes to get there, but once we got to the park, it was all worth it worth it. We set up the kayak and hit the water on water it took about 20 minutes to get to the Private Island, but it's very close. You can see it in an eye distance, so it's not too far where you're putting yourself in danger. Now, do remember you are on the Intercoast so anything can happen. Just always be careful when in the ocean waters always wear a life jacket no matter what. We didn't have to rent anything because we had our own, so we took off from this park but the park itself was very very beautiful there were lots of families and people with small dogs walking around (no pit bulls) post it up on the island for about 5 hours just bird watching listening to music chilling and vibing it's a really cool spot it's one of my secret spots. 😎 Anyway, I hope you enjoy the review. Wonderful place to visit. Great view of the water. No homeless people trashing the place. Bathrooms are fairly clean. And the beat part, there are no anoying people playing their loud and low IQ genre of music like most places in Miami

the part of this park that faces the sea, the ramps for kayaks and the pool are tremendously abandoned.

My parents use to take me there as a kid and being back after 30 years brought back old memories. The view overlooking the water is amazing and calming. Will be going back more often, after discovering this gem of a place.

A great place for picnics, walks and workouts. The children's playground could use an upgrade but overall it's a great public park in a pricate area

This is and has always been one of my favorite parks. The lush greenery of the neighborhood, the old, new and remodeled homes and the location right by the ocean, for me is to die for. Getting my walk on here is so much easier to do. Stay away if you don't like iquanas.

Was a little hidden from the streets, you need to enter a gate in orden to get to the park, but when you get there in the very morning when the sun is just about to rise it’s just inexplicable. For those who enjoy the nature and everything that come with it, you will need to go there. Amazing view.

Pros: lots of green space, waterfront Cons: closes at 7pm, even in summer which ends up being hours before sunset. Also they don’t allow hammocks in the park for some reason??

This park is still a great quiet hidden gem. No loud music obnoxious visitors or uncontrolled dogs. Excellent views, many water activities and many park benches to relax and enjoy your day.

Beautiful park! and the tennis courts are in wonderful shape. The staff all around always has a warm vibe. Highly recommend!

Quiet, serine, tranquil, peaceful are a few words to describe this park. It has a children's playground, full basketball court, space for volleyball, workout equipment, picnic tables, and visitors can rent kayaks and small sail boats. ⛵ I highly recommend it for families but clearly everyone is welcome.

the worst boat ramp in florida 30 minutes to find the person who opens the gate and 45 minutes to leave waiting for the same employee who charges you 15 dollars cash for this bad service.

Very nice family park. Alot of playgrounds for the kids. I actually felt safe. Only thing people need to clean their mess after their events. Picnic tables were dirty and under. That was the only down fall.

Lazy Sunday afternoon laying on the beautiful grass looking out at the water. Watching water sports. People kayaking, jet skiing, boating and enjoying the Miami sun. Reading a good book. The park was not crowded. Very peaceful. Free and easy access.

I love this park. I love to watch the boats, jet skis go by as well as sit by the water. The only thing I don't like is that a lot of time I see pet owners without their dogs on a leash and staff does nothing about it 😒

Such a visually beautiful place for a nice walk. Very family oriented park, but also a nice spot for couples to have a waterside picnic. I have not tried the water activities there, but people seem to be enjoying themselves. I simply enjoy it for the beautiful views and catch up on some reading.

Overzealous park rangers, dirty restrooms with no soap to wash hands. Nice park but very restrictive in what you can do in it and you are under constant watch from the " rangers " lol ! pityful, will not go back for sure.
