A very nice, more modern HIX. Entries are a little funky: if you come in the main, the front desk is right there; come in the other on opposite side (which looks like it could be main entry) and you don't know where the front desk is. Lobby layout makes for a somewhat cramped and chaotic breakfast, but there are more tables down the hall. Breakfast staff attentive and energetic. Presumed owner(s) seemed less so and stoic, and (ironically) maybe could benefit from a hospitality course. Because room prices swing widely depending on the day, so does the value proposition, but for our night it was reasonable.

Construction going on currently, they should disclose this prior to booking. Also no housekeeping but after every 5 days? That's ridiculous. If u r staying for work monday thru friday then u better bring ur own detergent, mop and pinesol. They won't touch ur room. This can't de due to pandemic but because they don't have enough housekeeping staff or they pay so low nobody wants to work. Picture attached.

Airport shuttle which is great. Not sure if the driver speaks English, he never said a word except "thank you" when I tipped him. :-) Breakfast is good and the morning host was quite pleasant. The bed sleeps well and the room is spacious. Only thing bothered me was housekeeping knocking on my door before check-out 10:57, I had already called to let them know I was taking advantage of my membership and checking out late. 20 minutes later another knock. I strongly suggest leave a tip for housekeeping, they deserve it. I appreciated leaving my luggage while the shuttle took me to the car rental. It was most kind of him to suggest it, not knowing I would have a walk. Of course I tipped him. Most likely I will visit this location again.

This hotel is a scam. If you plan to stay longer than one night, I recommend you pay a one-time cash deposit of $100 for damages and losses. The hotel requires guests to pay a deposit of $100 per night. The hotel manager created a system to collect extra money. Explain that the system automatically collects money for each night. My husband and I stayed for four nights. And there was $1,009.75 on my card worth of transactions. I received a bill of $609.75 for 4 nights. The $400 refund may take up to two weeks. The hotel tells me that it is up to my bank and the bank tells me It is take 14 days. The hotel will update the amount. Set up the system with high rate deposit, withdraw and withhold such a large amount of money from your card, and use a lengthy refund process that constitutes fraud. I had to take the time to call my bank and provide the necessary documentation to update the amounts and get my money back before the 14 days. They also don't have enough parking spaces for all hotel guests and issue parking permits at the gas station. My husband and I travel a lot and stay at Holiday Express Inns. This was the first time we encountered a hotel system that required a deposit for each night. Breakfast every morning, and it is good. Beds comfortable.

This location is excellent. Bar none excellent. I got a last minute booking to avoid staying at a disaster of another hotel in town. Staff has been pleasant at every single opportunity, the reception managed to find a slightly cheaper rate for me without having to ask, breakfast was well spread with plenty of options, and Hasina was incredibly on point. She was eager to attend to every guests' needs, but more importantly, she respected when a guest asked to self serve and be left to his own devices. You often see staff who are so eager to do right that they end up ignoring guests' needs in the process, so it was excellent to see Hasina hear, recognize, and respond accurately by giving that one guest a wide berth and continuing to provide care to every other guest in the room. She has definitely been a highlight of my brief stay.

Do not waste your money. My main issue was the food poisoning I got from their breakfast. The management did absolutely nothing about it. I reported it and an employee called to ask questions and said a manager would contact me but never did. I called 4 times in the week following the incident and got no return call and was hung up on twice. Their customer service is among the worst I've ever experienced in a hotel overall. The toilet in our bathroom was running non-stop. It took them a day to send someone to fix it and only a few minutes to repair. The toilet also leaked at the base making the tile floor very slippery, which also reported but they never repaired. The room was a bit run down and the view was not very nice but in the room the worst of it was the sloping mattress. We had to sleep at the foot of the bed and it was still quite uncomfortable. Its not too far from the airport, the pillows were good, and it was nice having a fridge. The extra room in the suite we rented came in handy. My husband could sleep on the sofa bed in the next room while I was puking all night from the food poisoning. I would not recommend this place at all.

Nice clean place. 4 stars due to older hotel: low ceilings in lobby area, worn carpets on some floors, insufficient parking spots, elevator is as slow as molasses on a cold winters day, so bring your patience. BUT, it's under renovations ( 11 am - 5pm), so hopefully some of these issues will go away. I got there around 3 pm & hardly heard any noises. What the hotel lacked in appearance, is made up in customer service. Super friendly staff & workers who cleaned rooms. Breakfast was impressive- real hot breakfast with wide variety. Lady in breakfast room was SUPER sweet. Good location..right off 595. My room faced Waffle House, & was a little more quieter from highway noise, & I could see Hard Rock Casino & Hotel in the distance, which I highly recommend to visit. Next door is a Wawa which allows hotel guests to park there with a pass you put in your car from the hotel. I would say again.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good Staff taking care of the Breakfast was very helpful and willing to help where needed. For overflow parking, we parked you at the Wawa right next to the hotel but you will have to speak with the front desk first. Good location the traffic getting out can be a bit tricky. The room was nice and clean as well as the bathroom.

From the moment we arrived, the front desk associates were rude and disrespectful. They were uncooperative when we requested airport shuttle services that were included in our package and even complained about our request. To make matters worse, on our first night, we encountered an individual who was obviously under the influence of drugs, making us and our family feel very unsafe. Overall, this hotel was poorly maintained, unsafe, and of very poor quality. It was definitely not worth the money we spent. We strongly advise anyone looking for accommodation to steer clear of this place. As frequent Holiday Inn guests, we were particularly disappointed by this experience, and it has certainly impacted our future stays with the brand. I can confidently say that my stay at this hotel was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Despite multiple requests for room service, our room was still dirty and unkempt throughout our stay. The building only had one elevator for five floors, which was often either not working or packed to capacity. The location of the hotel felt unsafe at night, and the included breakfast was of poor quality and tasted terrible. The outside pool was dirty and overrun with ants and other insects, nothing like the pristine photos shown online. My family and I will never stay here again, and this experience has irreparably damaged my view of the Holiday Inn brand

I was there last month, traveling for work. The rooms were well maintained, I was surprised though by the coin fee and lack of a coin machine in the laundry room. Overall it was a great place to stay with friendly professional staff. Hasina is also a GREAT employee! she runs morning breakfast fantastically! She continues to go above and beyond the requirements of that job with her customer service. While the hotel and staff overall were great, she was definitely the final nail in me recommending that hotel to my boss if we have to send more employees there again.

Booked a 2 room sweet with a pull out. Room was clean and cool when we arrived. Went to pull out the sofa bed and there were no linens or pillows, like in other places we stayed. I'm sure it was just an oversight. Called the front desk, and they wouldn't bring them up to us, we had to go get them, which I found odd. Breakfast was the usual HIE spread. Coffee was good. That's a bonus.

Upon arrival, the elevator wasn't working, there was construction in the hallway, and the office was at the back of the lobby rather than the front. When leaving the next morning the elevator was actually working, but now there was construction by the exit door causing me to have to find another door for me to use. I understand hotels need to update and remodel, but at least give me a heads up before I book a stay. I'm 72 and navigating 3 flights of stairs is rough, especially if you have luggage or are in a wheelchair or needing a cane (the people behind me were in that situation). There was no offer for a lower room or a reduction in price. I use Holiday Inns because I can count on them to be clean, quiet, and customer friendly. This one only lives up to the first one.

I stayed here for 2 days during renovations at my house. It was nice enough but they put me on a floor where they were renovating guest rooms so the noise was not pleasant. They should've disclosed to me prior to booking the state of construction at the hotel during my stay. That's probably why the room rate was so low. So I recommend you ask about the construction before booking your room, in case that might be an issue for you. Other than that, my short stay was okay. I'd stay here again, but it would have to be after their renovations are done.

The hotel was very nice and renovated. The location was a little cramped with parking being a problem. It was hard to understand the lady at the front desk also. The best part of the stay was meeting Hasina. She was the breakfast hostess and was exceptional at her job. She went above and beyond at making you feel special. She made my pancakes for me and brought everything to our table.

Beware of the cancellation policy. If your flight is canceled, they don’t care. You will lose your deposit, one night’s stay, or reward points. Do not book this hotel until the very last minute. When our flight was canceled, we needed to change two other hotel nights, a tour, and a rental car. All were past the cancellation deadline. This is the only place that refused. Therefore when I rebook this trip, I will not be staying here and I will happily rebook with all of the others. Great housekeeping staff at this hotel---I was here for a week last summer. Never again, unless I'm literally in the parking lot ready to check in.

Older hotel with remodelling going on. But the room was clean. Comfortable bed. Fresh towels everyday. Great breakfast. Awesome staff. Close to everywhere. Will come back. Can't wait to see the remodeling.

Overnight stay 5/21/22 . Because of long drive got to hotel early 11am , check in wasn't until 3pm. Told clerk would have to sit in lobby until we could get in room. Within 30 minutes Clerk advised room was ready.Chancey did excellent job in helping us out. Overall hotel is under renovations and room was across from two rooms they were renovating. Workers did not quit until 6/7pm. Heard all the banging, dropping of tools...etc until quitting time. Breakfast was very good and breakfast host Hasina was very friendly and professional. Not to bad of a stay would probably stay there again.

The staff was very kind and attentive, which we were incredibly appreciative of. However, the room was old, smelled musty with a broken air conditioner… the bathroom’s fan was broken as well with the floor of the shower being just chipped paint that would flake off as I showered. The breakfast was good, but that’s the only thing I could recommend at this hotel.
