I ordered two window screens. The customer service representative took my name and number and said he would call with the price. He called that afternoon. Ten days later I called to see what was happening with the order. I was told it should have been done but was not. The rep told me they would complete it that day. Later they called saying the screen were done. The next day I go to the store to pick them up. The representative behind the counter tells me he cannot get them without an order number. I tell him they never gave me an order number but used my name and phone number. He keeps on about needing the order number. I finally ask to speak to the manager. He tells me he is the manager - of the department. So ask to speak to the store manager. While speaking to the store manager, somehow the department manager finds the two screens. They tell me my balance is zero and I have to tell them that I had not paid. They tell me everything is always paid upfront before making screens. The store is poorly trained, staff is horrible. The department manager tried to explain to the store manager why it was not his fault that I was upset with the lack of service and basic systems. In the end, neither manager apologized for the delayed work, discourteous behavior or lack of basic protocol by themselves or other staff. I will not be back in this store again.

Always a great place to get what you need from friendly and knowledgeable people.

I absolutely love this store. Just like an old time hardware store where I can get assistance from the employees who are smart and reliable. Such a big difference from the big stores where no one can help or does not have any interest in providing customer service. Prices are a little higher however I don't mind spending the money when I get the service from the Ace folks.

I was tasked with funding a galvanized metal tub so I called Sunshine Hardware to see if they had any after multiple relatives struck out looking at other other stores. Both employees I spoke with were very helpful (especially Dale in plumbing) and I was able to stop by later the same day to choose between two tubs they had available for purchase.

Great, well stocked hardware store. They have a bit of everything. Well-staffed and very helpful!

First day shopping at this store, employees have the charm of sand paper when it comes to customer service. Very rude customer service.

I previously was satisfied with Golden Gate store. Just had very unpleasant experience. I ordered online to pick up. 2 lady employees at front were too busy talking to help me so I spotted an employee sweeping. He showed me where to pick up and said they've gone home. He was very put out but said he'd try to look for it. He quickly found it but I felt I had highly inconvenienced him. I intended and needed to shop for other items. But felt very unwelcome and left. Never again. Too many other hardware stores. Shame shame

Steve in plumbing is the best , yesterday I needed to match a small sample of paint. The gentleman working in paint yesterday afternoon did a perfect match. Very grateful

This place is amazingly special! The entire store worked to get our grill from the back! The store employees have a very cool culture going on here, they seem happy as a team here! It’s not your average ace hardware or store for that matter! The workers actively try and help you and interact with you throughout your entire shopping experience! They even have a man in a wheelchair working there! This store deserves some kind of award for genuinely caring for humanity!

So many big box hardware stores to choose from but found myself back at Ace on Collier Blvd and Golden Gate Pkwy; this is where folks understand what I need for my variety of projects.

We purchase many products form this store, exceptional staff and inventory. The chain saw repair and maintenance section is awesome.

Sydney was so helpful, she matched and mixed my Royal paint, and another gentleman mixed my white Royal paint because it was sitting for a while. The cashier was good too. Great service here always!

Walter and Tony in the key department did a great job and I would highly recommend Ace hardware for anyone's key cutting needs.

I bought a yeti cooler from this location nine days ago I realized it doesn’t fit in my car trunk. I tried to make it work but it was too complicated to but in on the back seats . So i tried to exchange with a smaller one. I was very surprised when the lady in customer service told me that I cannot exchange it because it has a scratch and that she know i used it for 9 days. She also told me to call yeti if I want a return. This is totally false, i called and they told me we need to talk to the place we bought jt from so she gave me false information. Bottom line , i spend 400 dollars at the ace and all i wanted to do was exchange something that did not fit my needs . The scratch she is talking a out is present on all of the ones in the store because they store them One on top of each other. The return policy should be 30 days but they obviously don’t care . Take your business somewhere else if yiu ever think that something wont work out for you . The customer service is not present here.

Not only is Ace closer to home than Lowes or Home Depot, but they usually have better prices. They dont have as big an inventory or building supplies as the big box stores, but they actual have better selection of the small random parts I usually need for small repairs and projects. Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Highly recommend.
