The food is served cold. We don't know why our order came out different from what we asked for. I do not recommend the food. If it is Mexican food far from reality. OMG everyone talks about the food in this place, the relationship $$$ culinary experience, I feel like I was robbed. “ Approved chefs” do not live up to their life motto. Don't waste your money. there are better Mexican food experiences for less $.

For the last couple years I’ve been seeing this place pop up on many of the best taco lists here in South Florida. Even having reached the heights of diner’s, drive-in’s and dives with everyone’s favorite @guyfieri….but I am not quite certain why. Perhaps it was an off day for the crew, but nothing I ate this day was something I would return for, let alone rave about. Having their own space, moving from their original gas station location, I started with the brisket toastada. For just shy of $8 you get one tostada shell split in half topped with an almost stew like portion of brisket, which while tender, just didn’t wow. One thing I observed was the amount of sauces drizzled on each of the plates. Next up was the taco trio. Having ordered one steak, pork, mushroom for a variety, I received two steak and one pork. Nevertheless all three were drenched in sauces of different varieties you can see here. They were so heavy I could hardly taste the actual meat which was on the drier side. What really crushed it for me was the glaze which was reminiscent of a raspberry drizzle you find on a monte cristo. Simply overwhelmed the entire taco. I had higher hopes for this one, but the show marches on.

This is a one and done place for me. Counter service, high prices, and small portions for the price you pay is not worth my return. Flavor is good, but nothing to write home about. They have a decent amount of options to choose from. "Tacos" are super small maybe 3-3.5 inches. Bacado bowl seemed to be a decent portion but for $16, it should be more. Canned sodas are $2.50 each. We left unsatisfied.

Great Mexicanish food from the flavor assassins at this killer triple D joint. The bbq brisket tostada is real deal flavor and the mahi tacos are crispy and fresh. Everything was outstanding and fast service from a friendly staff always is a mark of excellence. If you are near here stop in and check it out.

The Tortilla chips were nice and crisp, unlike the regular salted ones I loved the Cajun twist to them. Although, the food was good quality the major disappointment was chicken didn’t taste like chicken or anywhere closer. It tasted like beef, May be because it was cooked in beef broth. For me, it’s not worth the price. If I want to eat beef or pork I get them instead and not flavored chicken

Far out flavorful tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. The spicy pork is a must! The service is pretty quick and they have a steady stream of people that keep the place busy. There’s no reduction in food quality even during busy hours. Follow the Mayor of Flavortown’s lead and stop by!

I went to Los Bocados years ago when they were in the gas station and i don’t remember their food being this amazing! The brisket tostadas were so mind blowing, i wanted to order 2 more to go! The mushroom quesadillas were delicious! I didn’t even want to try anything else because i was obsessed with these two. I will definitely be returning and since it’s so close to me, I will become a regular!

I ordered a Birria taco trio and a citrus pork taco. It came with nachos. The Birria tacos have a beef dipping sauce that I like. The citrus pork was also good. The tacos come with corn (not wheat) tortilla so I could eat them. The price was pretty good. The meal came with a drink.

Los Bocados...TripleD#111 for Terri and I...in Miami, FL Very tasty Spicy Citrus Pork Burrito and Birria Quesa Tacos....must have moved across the street since the episode aired as they featured it inside of a gas station and now they're in their own location in a strip mall...gal taking orders was very friendly and patient with us.

Coming from San Diego, gas station and hole in the wall places have the best food, not sure why but it's true! Which is why I didn't give this place a second thought. This place is a true gem and the people working there are so knowledgeable about their food. I love when there's a little twist to your ordinary tacos and burritos. Try anything because EVERYTHING is so good!!

The food is delicious but the sizes are incredibly small. I ordered two tostadas and got one cut in half. Just be aware when you are ordering.

Food was good, pricey and they charge 4% if your paying with debit/credit card. Since when does a food joint do that? Make sure to have cash. For 3 people it came out to $65 with 2 drinks. There's no fountain drinks. Salsa for the chips had no flavor.

Holy hongos!!! This place has great vegetarian options. The beans are prepared without meat and they make a great bean burrito. I had a bowl with mushrooms. Great portion size and it included rice, guacamole ... all the good stuff. We hope to be back soon!!

I'm usually not a huge fan of Mexican food or experimenting with new cuisines due to food sensitivities, but I'm so glad I was in the adventurous mood tonight. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious! The chef was so accommodating and created a special dish just for me! It was perfect! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back and bring all my friends! It deserves way more than the 5 stars that Google allows!

How was Los Bocados? Is “iconic” a good-enough word? Best burritos, tacos, and tostadas I’ve ever eaten, bar none. Service is great, the chefs all know what they’re doing, and they’re clearly an establishment on the rise. I’m prepared to swear by these guys, in the culinary sense. I wish I could go there more. If you want élite elotes, tasty tacos, and breathtaking burritos, this is your place.

Absolutely excellent food! I went with friends 3 weeks ago and had the Mahi Mahi tacos. Today I ate with my family and had the Spicy Citrus Pork tacos. Los Bocados is definitely the best place to get flavorful food with friendly service!

I originally posted a negative review of this restaurant because of a bad experience I had with a delivery from GrubHub, in which they blamed the restaurant and I believed them, but later the owners explained the situation with me and it turned out it was Grubhub who screwed me (and them), not the restaurant, so I stand corrected.

Went there when it was in the Gas Station after recommendations. Whatever you get, I recommend it contain spicy citrus pork. My favourite is the Quesadilla. Everything comes with light tasting chips and they even serve beer on tap! A beer while you wait is always the best way to wait!

This place looks like a generic strip mall restaurant. The food is so ridiculously good you can’t believe it came from this place. Seriously. It’s really fantastic food.

Fish tacos were good but the guacamole is the worst guacamole I’ve ever had in my life. The tomato was so old it tasted rotten. Truly disgusting, skip it not worth it.

I have to be honest, we only came because my dad saw this place on Diners, Drive ins & dives…My expectations were very high. I love tacos and will go anywhere to checkout new ones…While I will say the flavors were good, all three were cold (and we dined in), the fried one was at least warm…The tostada although quite tasty was horribly over priced. For $8.50 I was expecting two, not one super thin cut in half. Every other Mexican place I’ve been to charges around $4.50 for a tostada with a thicker shell and piles of meat and ingredients on top. So, 4 stars for flavor, 2 stars for everything else :/

  • 4/5 Mike V. 6 months ago on Google
My carne asada with double meat brisket was excellent. Very flavorful and more meat than rice. Worth the extra $5. My only complaint would be that I was charged $.75 for online order? How ridiculous! It’s not the money it’s the principle of it. Next time I’ll call it in which is probably less cost effective for them.

The food in this place is out of this world! I’ve been here about 8 times and it has never disappointed. You might think its a little pricey but the flavors are just a unique delight and its truly an experience for your taste buds. This is not a restaurant its a shop, a nice one, but don’t expect fancy seating and serving, this is all about the food experience. Love and will always love Los Bocados

During my time working in Coconut Creek, I discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant — Bocados. Unassumingly located inside a Chevron gas station, this establishment serves some of the best tacos, burritos, and bowls in the region. Despite its unconventional location, Bocados is not to be underestimated. The quality of their food is top-notch, making it well worth a visit if you're in the area. Even if you're not, I'd say it's worth the journey. The success of Bocados has me excited about what the future holds for this establishment, especially in terms of expansion. I wholeheartedly give Bocados a well-deserved 5 out of 5 rating and look forward to seeing their continued growth. Cheers!

Had my suspicion since they are located inside of a gas station. I'm glad I tried them out.. Food is great. Great customer service. The carne asada burrito and side of elote (Mexican grilled corn) are my favorites.

Evey meal is an experience of flavor and freshness topped with the freshest salsa this side of The Border. You can throw a dart at the menu blind and not be disappointed. Trust me, I've done it. From the warm greeting walking in to the flavor explosions and freshness in every bite, this is truly a gem. Did I mention it's in a gas station? Yeah, it's in a gas station.

Good little place. Food is fresh and tastes like authentic Mexican food. I am new to the area and had a hard time finding it first but it’s located inside the gas station. Lol. Service is good and quick. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a bite on a run at decent price. Service is nice and you get reward points when you spend over 100 dollars. If in the area definitely check it out.

Where else can you fill-up with gas and get amazing tacos? In Parkland inside a Chevron called Los Bocados. When I started working in the area, my co-workers were raving about this place. So the first time I tried their food was when my work ordered burritos for lunch. I was like this "it's just a burrito" but one bite and I was hooked. The ingredients were fresh and carne marinade was on point. So I decided to go the following week to try their tacos. Wow! Ladies and gentlemen, these were the best tacos I've had in a while. I got hooked and now I'm obsessed. I just can't simply get enough. I've tried all of their taco creations including the Guajillo Chicken, Spicy Citrus Pork, Carne Asada, and Hongo. The Mahi Mahi tacos are also musts but make sure to order early. Once they're sold out, you have to wait the next day. The other item that I crave every day is their BBQ Brisket Tostadas. They simply melt in your mouth. Love this operation. Simple take out serving "real" authentic food inside a gas station. FYI, they have been featured on Triple D so you know they're legit!

Went because it looked so good on DDD. Was a surprise trip so I wasn't prepared and forgot what Guy ate. Carne asada tacos were very good but was not prepared for the sweetness. Fish tacos felt a step above long john silver. Is there a grilled mahi mahi alternative?
