While the rink is smooth and easy to skate on as a beginner, almost Everytime I come no matter the time a big group of people kick everyone out of the rink to play soccer or fill the rink with equipment for a youth fitness day. I didn’t mind the inconvenience in the past as there was another rink but now the second rink has been turned into a pickle ball field there’s basically no place skate. Sometimes the groups say they reserved the space and other times they’re just there. It bothers me because I don’t get to skate but also Central Park has a big beautiful soccer field that’s empty 80% of the time that I go. It’s disappointing because it’s hard to find affordable skating rinks let alone free ones in my area and the one I do have I barley get to use because there being used for other things. I’d appreciate if they had signs that let us know if the space is reserved or put that they’ve closed the rink so I can save the 30 + minute drive.

If you're skating here, bring protection. It was my first time going to an outdoor roller rink and I didn't know the flooring was smooth, hard concrete. So please BRING PROTECTION no matter what skill level. Otherwise, it's quite nice and spacious.

skater and new resident to the area it feels extremely unwelcoming. I might have to just bring my own broom and take it into my own hands to keep the rink clean. Today my husband and I were trying to skate but the trash, rocks and seeds made it impossible. Ended up injuring myself because one of my wheels got stuck thanks to the seeds. This is unacceptable

It is actually the pickleball courts I use. People are friendly and it is easy to pick up a game.

Roller hockey rings have been replaced with pickleball courts. Excellent courts and a lot of great games!! Very friendly people.
