I do NOT have 1 bad thing to say about this Hospital! My son was there for around 5 days for surgery. We truly had the most amazing nurses & Doctors. Everyone went above & beyond to make sure he was happy & comfortable. They even played his favorite song (ghostbusters) & danced while they wheeled in back to surgery. As a scared parent, it truly meant everything to have such a caring staff.

Amazing staff! From the first step into the ER to the follow up when I got home, this hospital is excellent. True professionals! Nurses Naromi & Felipe took great care of me, as did the attending physician & Marge made sure I had a follow-up appointment she took the time to schedule with my cardiologist. Class operation.

I had the greatest experience at palms west hospital. I got some great information/help from the Social worker Milly. I had the best nurses especially Michelle. Whenever I needed help and assurance she was there. I would definitely recommend palms west for delivering a baby.

I cannot say enough good things about the pediatric ER here. It was literal minutes before we were face to face with a doctor. They took the time to explain every single detail to us and even helped to calm my mom anxiety. They were able to resolve our issue and were so kind to my little one as they did it. It is such a relief to know they are there moving forward as a parent. I wish Dr. Jorge had his own pediatric practice because my daughter would absolutely be his first patient. I cannot say thank you enough to this team.

Palms West Hospital's Care I wanted to leave this review to express my profound gratitude for the exceptional care and treatment provided to my 91-year-old father during his recent stay at your hospital. The experience we had at your hospital was nothing short of outstanding and I am truly grateful for everything that you did for him. My father broke his leg and required surgery, and from the moment we arrived at Palms West Hospital, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by your staff. The doctors, nursing staff, and general staff all went above and beyond to ensure that my father was comfortable and received the best possible care. I was particularly impressed with the professionalism, dedication, and compassion of the nursing staff. They were always available to answer any questions we had and they took such great care of my father throughout his stay. They made him feel comfortable and at ease, which was so important to us during such a difficult time. Furthermore, my father also loved the food that was served to him during his stay. He would often comment on how delicious the meals were, and it brought a smile to his face every time. Overall, our experience at Palms West Hospital was excellent and we cannot thank you enough for everything you did for my father. The care and compassion shown by your staff is truly remarkable and I am grateful to each and every one of you. Thank you again for your outstanding care and support. We will always be grateful to Palms West Hospital for taking such great care of our loved ones. Sincerely, Scott Galloway

I recently had an experience with the ER department where I had the pleasure of encountering two exceptional individuals named Sandro and Lauren. Their exemplary care and dedication left an indelible impression on me. Sandro who is a paramedic in the ER displayed remarkable professionalism and compassion for me. From the moment he greeted me he made me feel instantly at ease. He took the time to listen to my concerns and ensured that I understood the treatment plan thoroughly. Sandro's compassionate nature and unwavering support provided me with much-needed reassurance after I fell of a ladder and had terrible knee and and leg pain. Lauren the nurse demonstrated an extraordinary level of empathy and attentiveness. Her kind and soothing presence made a significant impact on my experience. Lauren instilled confidence in me, and her genuine concern for my well-being was evident throughout our interactions after she told me I would be alright. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care I received from Sandro and Lauren. They event went out of their way to bring a wheel chair all the way out to the parking lot when I was screaming for help.Their dedication to their profession and genuine concern for patients like myself are truly commendable. The ER department is fortunate to have such remarkable individuals on their team, and I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of emergency medical attention. Thank you, Sandro and Lauren, for your exceptional care and for making a positive difference.

Once you actually get seen by a doctor the experience gets better. The front end of the emergency room (granted I know they put up with a lot) is nothing to rave about and they are by no means great. They don't make you feel like they want to save your life or anything. But once you get to the back the nurses are very nice and know what they are doing. The imaging staff is also amazing. The children's doctor on staff the night we came in was very knowledgeable and very caring of each child in his path.

I recently delivered my first baby at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital and I could not have asked for better care. The staff was excellent, attentive, empathetic, and just a great group of nurses and doctors. The nurses, Karen, Robyn, Cory, Alisa in labor and delivery took such great care of me and my son. Alisa made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth discharge from the hospital. They answered all of my questions and had so much useful information for me to transition to caring for my baby at home. My OB Ingrid Isdith was amazing, the anesthesiologists were great at educating me on every step of delivery and what I should expect, and the nurses were really there for me around the clock. The staff set me up for success to breastfeed my baby and I am so grateful. Would highly recommend expecting moms to deliver here. I will be back for sure for next baby.

I’m not sure who thought of the ridiculous triage area but it’s so intrusive for other patients.. The treatment received the last two times is equal to that of a drive through service. If you try to question their lack of care, they can only “give you the boss’ number”. The last 22 years I’ve brought 2 lives into this world at Palms West and watched one leave. I’m sad to leave those memories due to how bad the treatment is there. I can not imagine the care my unborn Grandchild would receive if born there. After 22 years, Goodbye!

I want to express my gratitude for the care I received last night. I went to the ER for shortness of breath and chest pain. As a woman in her 20’s I was hesitant at the care I’d receive for a health complaint such as that. I’m sure most medical staff would write me off as having a panic attack and send me off home. This was not my experience at Palms West. I had the most compassionate staff. Dr. Pereira not only listened to me explain my symptoms but he also addressed each one. He was thorough, very informative, and took the time to explain it to me in a way I’d understand. Wendy, the triage, nurse was very kind and made me feel at ease. Nurses Kim and Anna were also very nice and answered all my questions. I didn’t catch their names but the women with registration were courteous and kind. I feel blessed with the staff I had and the care I received last night. Nobody wants to go to the hospital for a health issue but I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Palms West if need be. Thank you Palms West for another great experience.

I recently had a baby at Palms West Hospital. My experience at the labor and delivery and the postpartum units was amazing. I have no words to express how safe, welcomed, and blessed I felt during my stay at the hospital. The nurses were all angels. They were all so sweet, nice, and professional. The anesthesia staff were all very friendly and professional as well. Dr. Bowen, my OB/GYN was amazing throughout the entire process and made me feel comfortable and safe. I would definitely come back to Palms West for my future pregnancy. A very special thanks to all the staff. You guys did an amazing job.

I wanted to share the great care I received at Palms West Emergency Department. Joe was the first person I had an interaction when I walked into the ER, he was very attentive to my needs and made sure that I was in good care. Although they were very busy I felt like I was given quick and thorough care. I had tests in Ultrasound and CT the techs Aneta and Suzanne were so caring and treated me like family. Thanks Palms West for always taking care of me and my family.

I took my son to the lab since the lab nurse that work with my local pediatrician couldn't find my sons veins. When I arrived from registrations to the lab technicians were supper helpful and nice. I even requested to have a nurse from NICU to draw the blood from my son since they are properly trained to find those little veins. The lab contacted the Nurse immediately and she did an amazing job. My son 5 years old didn't even cry. I highly recommend their services.

The Emergency Room staff are wonderful. Quick and efficient and reassuring as well when your not feeling 100 percent. Grateful for this hospital as they saved my life 3 weeks ago when I went in for ovarian torsion surgery. Best hospital in West Palm and couldn't speak more highly of each and every staff member that I met ❤

I cannot thank the PICU staff enough for the amazing love and care they showed my daughter while we were there for the last 3 days. I want to personally thank her sitters Alexis, Maria, Jacqueline, and the last one I cannot remember her name but all of them were amazing. These ladies were sent from God to touch our lives and our daughter'sin a way we never knew we needed. To the nurses, Alexa, Cathy, Lauren, Carly, Lindsey, and there is also one more in the beginning of the stay but I cannot remember her name either I'm sorry. These ladies are God's angels sent to bless us all. God has given them a talent to help children and they went over and beyond. Millie! You my dear, not words can describe my appreciation i have for you. You are a unique one of a kind ANGEL. God made sure he made you extra special. My daughter has a special bond with you that cannot be broken. My husband and I are so grateful for each and everyone of you. I pray you and all your families are blessed and feel all the love you all deserve. May God bless you all!

Miguel & Lauren were awesome and on point at the walk in ER desk! I Great experience in time of need. Even though they were at capacity they made incredible strides to take care of me incredibly fast and start all my testing needed until a bed came available.

Thank God for people like Madison and Lauren they have been very instrumental to our visit at the Hospital. We need more Nurses who have that caring and selfless nature like them. It is very important to be professional and proficient on the job but it takes a real gem to have the ability to make your patients feel comfortable and safe. Palm West is blessed to have them.

I absolutely loved going to Palms West Hospital when ever there was an emergency. But the last time I went was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this Hospital. For about a year went there with problem with both arms. Well I went there due to lack of movement capabilities to my arm. They ended up telling after waiting for around six hour that I had a pinched nerve n needed an MRI to make sure the diagnosis was correct. They didn’t do the MRI n the time they told me all this I had full paralysis to my left arm n partial paralysis to my left leg. I have dealing with this issue for a week n a half cause I’m unable to see an orthopedic right away to figure out what is the issue n how to treat the issue. I have noticed that since the chances being made to upgrade the hospital is great but the treatments have been declining. The pediatric side is still great though.

I was greatly greeted by nurse Naomi. She noticed my daughter was in the hallway in so much discomfort then she proceeds to take her in a room to access her port. My daughter has sickle and most of the time is treated unfairly but Naomi took her time and patience to make sure she was given the proper care that she needs. We love you Naomi. Palms West hospital is lucky to have you 😘

Recently brought our daughter in for sutures on her chin, and both doctors who did the suturing and removal were attentive, knowledgeable, and positive. The intake team was very friendly as well. Keep up the great work.

The staff in the emergency department were outstanding. They were warm, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and went to incredible lengths to make a difficult time for my mother in law into a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at the desk and throughout the emergency facility!

Please BEWARE!! the price gouging here is out of control. $24,000!!! for a CT scan. I was in the room for the CT scan for a total of 20 minutes. Please justify this price. I went in for kidney stone pain and came out still with a kidney stone that i had to pass on my own and a $33,000 bill. I sat there for an extra two hours longer than i needed to because they forgot to scan my urine sample that i gave them when i first came in. None of these prices were discussed. This is what is wrong with or health care system. Never again will i come to this facility or any HCA if this is not resolved.

RN Naromie in the ER is AWESOME! Great representation of her values and organization’s mission. Very personable, demonstrates empathy, compassion and a genuine care of and for patient. My hubby doesn’t like coming to the hospital, but she made his experience one we will not forget. The ER personnel was quick to respond and the doctor was present in minutes all showing a level of urgency with respect of care. Thanks to Naromie e others, we hope to not have to return, but if needed a sense of peace will be within due to this positive experience. Continued blessings to all😊🙏🏾!

My experience at Palms west Hospital is that I feel secure and well taken care of. The staff is fantastic and I truly felt concern for my well being. I was at this hospital for a large and very painful kidney stone. My pain relief was made first priority and they kept constant attention on my pain levels. The Urology department is fantastic. As far as I am concerned this is my go to hospital. I am very thankful for the treatment I received from everybody at the hospital. Thank you. :)

From start to finish this was the most wonderful birthing experience. The nurses and staff at Palms West were kind and attentive and so knowledgeable. All my anxiety as a first time mom is gone thanks to the guidance I received during my stay. They treated my husband and I like family and we would not want to go anywhere else if we have more children in the future. On top of the care the rooms were extremely comfortable and the food was delicious. They make sure you leave with samples of what you will need to start your journey. THANK YOU!

The hospital was very clean and the imaging staff CT tech Sherry and X-ray tech Rich were the most gentle and informative people as well! The best imaging experience I have ever had! I will definitely only use Palms West, best hospital ever! After my discharge they called to even check on me to make sure I was getting better what an awesome team!

My son was admitted into the PICU and I have to tell you, the staff was superb. Jessica (nurse) and Milly (Social Worker) could not have been more compassionate and kind. Their care for my son was beyond anything I could have asked. Milly truly went above and beyond in every way. I truly wish Milly could see patients as a therapist, because she created a bond and trust with my son that allowed him to open up and be vulnerable with her in a short amount of time that many have been unable to do. Amazing experience. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I’ve been coming to the ER for the past 4 months for severe GI issues and if not for one issue on their part it would be a 5 star. Quite a few good nurses and doctors who have shown compassion and understanding to my care. Lauren, Makayla and the other nurses, I’m sorry I can’t remember all their names. They’re really attentive and caring and with the doctors they combine together to effect good service. Thank you all!

I had my son at Palms Weat and have been there multiple times in years past with my kids. The staff is always personable and friendly. It’s been a while since I’ve been back, but today I had to take my 9 year old for testing and blood work. I am happy to report, it’s still top notch. Everyone went above and beyond to make my son comfortable. Jenna in registration was phenomenal. She helped us get to the lab and even stopped back by to check on us. Thomas, the phlebotomist was wonderful as well. He was patient and kind. He even walked us to the next department versus giving us directions and sending us on our way. The gentleman who did the next test was awesome as well and answered all of my sons questions, putting him at ease. Thank you to the incredible staff at Palms West. You will always be the hospital I turn to for my family.

Amazing hospital, I had my son there 2 years ago and the labor and delivery unit was so great. I just had to go there 2 weeks ago for an unexpected injury and the front desk, nurses and PA were just all so accommodating, professional and funny. Thank you for making my experience so great.

I was there for outpatient surgery and Palms West has clean, comfortable waiting areas, same for pre and post surgical areas. But the best thing about Palms West Hospital was it's staff: warm, comforting, supportive, careful and highly professional. I am not from Florida, never been to this hospital before, and I was (comfortingly) impressed.

I gave birth to my son at palms west hospital on June 1st. I came in 2 days prior because of pain I have been feeling, they ran tests and found out I had HELLP syndrome and needed to deliver ASAP. I cannot express my gratitude towards the whole staff, nurses, doctors, midwife, phlebotomist, anesthesiologist who were so kind and helped me stay calm and took such great care of us. If I’m here to tell the tale today it is because of all of them. They saved my life and my baby’s life. Dr Bowen and Joni always gave me the best suggestions for the best outcome while respecting my wishes. The whole nurses team was outstanding and kept me safe. Special shout-out to Janis who was there when I delivered. She was truly exceptional, and even came to check on me the day after when she wasn’t my nurse for that day. I was taking care of with some much care by everyone that goes to medical staff or cafeteria and maintenance staff. I cannot recommend this hospital enough if you are pregnant. It is truly the best. I felt safe the whole time. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for saving my life.

We visited the ER on Thursday night for an injury my daughter suffered. She was seen by a nurse within 5 minutes! Paperwork was processed efficiently, the staff was nice. Her RN, Angela, was "10/10" per my daughter. The ER doctor, Hilary was great in explaining her injury and treatment. I'd say we will visit again, but I don't want that mojo. We were in and out in under two hours.

Palms West is typical of our health care system and our society in general, everyone who works there appears to want to be somewhere else. I don’t go the the hospital to bother anyone, I just want to get better. However, there is a nurse I’ve encountered at Palms West who is a shining star among his coworkers and deserves to be recognized.. His name is Allen and he is an ER nurse. Allen is energetic, efficient and caring, with a work ethic of days gone by. When others are sitting, Allen is attending to patients in the waiting room. When others are complaining about all that is wrong, Allen is jumping from place to place getting it all done with a smile on his face. Whatever he is paid, he deserves more and whatever his dreams are I hope he reaches them…he deserves nothing less than the best.

I have to say when I entered into the walk-in entrance of the ER I was immediately greeted by Miguel who welcomed me and asked if I needed assistance immediately. Lauren immediately asked me if I had any snacks. I offered her donuts. All I can say is these 2 staff members were pleasant and welcoming to all who entered.

Best hospital in south Florida. ❤️ excellent staff. Very caring & the wait time is excellent. Love this hospital. Congratulations . Hope you guys get recognized for your great service. I've been to wellington hospital & wouldn't send my worst enemy there. I had a very horrible experience with that hospital & I would never again go there , even if It were critical.

Dr. Holtz and our nurse Lauren took great care of my mom in the emergency room this morning. Sonia and Angela in triage made sure my mom got prompt care and we are so appreciative. Palms West is my mom's top choice when she has to go to the hospital. I'd like to say we won't be back but.......let's just say we will always choose Palms West.

My 17 year old son was visiting in the area when he needed immediate medical attention. Since I was so far away, the DRs and nurses were calling me and updating me. I flew down to be with him a couple of days and witnessed first hand the excellent care for my son. I will be forever grateful for your staff and the friendliness of the whole facility.

I had an ultrasound and mammogram done at the Breast Center. The front desk and schedule coordinator were extremely helpful, warm, and made me feel at ease. I could say the same for the technicians that operated the mammogram department. Very warm and kind. What I would critique them on is they need to work on how to properly report on a patient from one department to another. They reported to the ultrasound technician that I “almost passed out during my mammogram”. Completely false and there’s a difference between me feeling uncomfortable during the mammogram because of my condition, but, definitely didn’t or was near passing out. Secondly, the ultrasound technician was also kind but talked too much when not warranted. She also spoke ill of the radiologist which I felt was very unprofessional. Her opinion of anyone that she works with, doctor or technician, should not be voiced to a patient. And third, the radiologist needs to be trained on proper bedside manner. The way she spoke to me was demeaning when I didn’t understand the information she was giving me. Working at the Breast Center where their mission is breast health and also detecting breast cancer, I could only imagine how she delivers bad news to a patient! My take on this experience is this facility needs more training/inservice on proper communication and professionalism in the workplace.
