If I could give this place a negative - I would. The young lady at the front is rude. They have no customer service skills. I ordered cocktail tail patties and went to pick it up. The very rude lady told me there is no order since I didn't pay over the phone. For one no one mentioned that and I gave them my information when the order was placed. No one bothered to call. I rate the food a 2, the service a -100, they couldn't even get an order of cocktail patties done right. Horrible place

I order specifically stated “Very little gravy and no plantains”. As you can see my meal is swimming in gravy and it has plantains in it. How on earth am I supposed to eat this sloppy, saucy food? I cannot and will not. I am allergic to plantains and I cannot eat this meal. I reached out to Golden Krust and was told that the only way they can do a refund as if I go through Uber eats which will then be able to do the refund but they themselves cannot do a refund. I was told that they do not have delivery services so I would have to come to the restaurant to re-order. The purpose for me using Uber eats is because I am visiting town and I do not have a vehicle to drive therefore I cannot go there. Now I have no meal to eat. This really suck. Golden Krust sucks.

Best experience at a Golden Krust ever! The food was fresh, bright, clean and fast service. My husband has the jerk chicken with rice, veggies with some brown stew sauce over the rice. I had the spicy beyond meat patty. They nailed it. I would definitely come again. I discovered things I didn’t even know they sold like ackee and salt fish homemade porridge. I would definitely come again.

Tried this new location today and it was awesome!!! Had their curry chicken with rice and peas and stemmed veggies plus also tried their new curry chicken patty and it was awesome!! Nice and spicy and great flavor. I believe this is the Golden Krust that is the furthest north! Will be coming back to try other items on menu. Highly recommend it! 😎👍🏼🇯🇲

This is sooo gooddd! Chicken Brown Stew. Sweet and savory. Not spicy. Slight pepper finish. Fantastic!

Ok so the first time we only bought the patties and boy were they bad. Similar to publix frozen ones. Decided to give it a second try and im 100% sure they are not the same ones. These were flaky with layers of perfection! They give hammonds a run for their money. Just today decided to give the food a try, the brown stew was perfect with nice amount of scotch bonnet. The oxtail was very good and meaty as well. The jerk chicken though was very dry/border line old with no jerk sauce on it. Patties were amazing again as well. Please keep it up!

First time at this new location. I’ve never been to a Golden Krust where the staff is super friendly. The ladies tend to my needs and were a great help. Food also was delicious and tasty. Definitely would recommend

Delicious food! Went there for lunch and the nice lady hooked me up! I got a brown stew chicken with rice, cabbage and plantains. Also got 3 Jamaican patties and a very generous side of Mac and cheese that was the best I've ever tasted! All this for $20! I'll definitely be back.

I am a born West Indian known throughout the Caribbean this has been my worst experience ever in a golden crust restaurant, this golden crust restaurant is highly overpriced with the food. I purchased oxtail with vegetables and three sides of plantain a bottle of ginger beer and a bottle of juice they charged me $51 and cents I ask what did I pay for that cost $51 dalliance. Now many people may not know this I’ve known golden cross from their beginning on gun Hill Road in the Bronx New York before they grew this large I do not know what’s happened but this prices are astronomical and overpriced for the amount of food and the quality of food that one receives half of the plantain a burnt and from personal experience there is entirely too much black sauce in the oxtail gravy I would not recommend eating at this Golden crust ever again to anyone unless you’re willing to pay for something you do not want, I gave them one star to which I do not think they deserve

This establishment needs new management! New staff! New everything. It makes no sense every time I come there no one is at the counter and no one greet you when you walk in…just have you standing there watching them talk and joke around…. Now let’s talk about the service… The current manager shares with me, “you’re not allowed to get oxtail gravy unless you get oxtails on my rice, she says, “I’m the manager and if anyone says otherwise direct them to me.” Then I asked her to place my small rice in a regular container because I wanted potatoes and carrots , she proceeds to ignore me and then responded if you wanted a large then I could have used the container…I’m like girl I’ll pay for the container I don’t need gravy-spilling all over my Italian seats! Pleaseee direct me to the OWNER of this establishment, so I can share many more of my experiences.

The store location is pretty low key .I was just driving past and found it . Anyways the store had a nice little Vibe especially from this one green hair worker she was fully energetic and amazingly kind sold me a banana cake that I didn’t want at first that tasted delicious . I loved the Cleanliness of the store and food was great also . My new spot to eat .

Happy to finally have a good jamaican restaurant in the coral springs area. The employees are pleasant (which is a rarity for jamaican restaurants :) ) and the food is pretty good. My only complaint is that sometimes the food items are somewhat dried out ( maybe from sitting over heat too long). If you guys fix that you'll be 5 stars 👍🏾

I had to comment these ladies, I called and Monica was so professional on the phone and when I went in, Sheka was awesome serving me. I have been to a few Jamaican restaurants and their service is horrible along with their food but this Golden Krust, the workers have good customer service skills. The jerk pasta was fire 🔥 Jamaican restaurants are notorious for bad customer service so it was pleasant surprise for the service to be so great 😃. Their was a young lady named lele she was very helpful. Definitely going back

This morning there was no callaloo but they made up for it with okra and spinach. The okra has some crunch to it while not being too slimy. Appreciate the substitution. May I humbly ask the chef to consider making saltfish with butter beans and cabbage.

Tried the Golden Krust location in Coral Springs at 4703 n state road 7. I was greeted by a polite young lady. Ordered the large curry goat with a pinapple soda on the side. The rice and vegetables were basically inedible because they seemed so undercooked. The curry goat itself was average at best. The best part of the meal was the pineapple drink. I have visited other golden krust locations in the past and did not have such a experience. In the 2nd photo you can see how much food I had to throw away in the end of my meal. Definitely won’t be returning.

The staff is great. This golden crust is clean and serve delicious Jamaican dishes. Lele is such a nice person, she showed us love and warm smile when she serves us. Thanks and keep up the kind and friendly attitude😀

The rice and peas are not good at all so the only rice I get here is the white rice. Problem is almost every time I come here after 4pm they don't have white rice. Why?? Why is this a thing? Why are you out of white rice at the start of dinner?

Worse curry goat I’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure that was even goat. It was pretty much boneless and full of fat. I tried to trust the process, but very disappointed. Bought bun & cheese as well, it was hard, most likely stale. Avoid this restaurant. Far from authentic. No effort to be authentic either. Well, at least the D&G soda was good.

The food was old and overpriced. By far the worst Jamaican spot I’ve ever eaten at. I try to support places even when the food is bad but this takes the cake and oven. Shame on them serving that old food.

Let me start by saying that Golden Krust makes the absolute best Jamaican beef patties anywhere. That said, the reason for the 1 star is simple, this review is for this specific location and it’s terrible. The staff is rude and even putting that aside, they run out of their staple product, the beef patties all too often. I just left there (2pm on a Saturday) and they’re out of beef patties. This is the 3rd time this has happened. It will also be the last because they do not deserve another chance. What a way to run a franchise. Gives the company a bad rap and hurts their reputation. I’ll be emailing their corporate office. I’d want someone to do that for me if one of my franchisees was putting the company I worked so hard to build up in to disrepute. And to the franchise owner, please don’t insult me or other reviewers with your copy and pasted, canned, insincere reply.

I can't say enough about the professionalism and cordial attitude of the staff. People know what to expect from Golden Krust in terms of food, but it's the people who make the biggest difference. The food and service is superb. The entire staff is very professional and courteous. The atmosphere was awesome and most importantly the food is excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant whether you are hungry for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Food tastes great; Bought an oxtail dinner for mom who's an old school event type cook, stated that her meal was perfectly seasoned and authentically prepared...even the veggie rice meal w/ steamed veggies were great..keep up the good work.

The staff was nice, but the food was horrible. The chicken was dry and the gravy had no flavor.

I absolutely love the service at this location. Everyone is so incredibly nice and accommodating and I’ve had no issues throughout all the times I’ve been there. I always order their patties and they’re each so delicious. On one occasion they did run out of their beef patties but asked if I was willing to wait as they baked more. This care, though rare in many other restaurants, seems to be the standard here. I love their food and their customer service. Definitely a great place to eat!

The food was so delicious!!!! I had the oxtails and my husband had the stew chicken. Also ordered some paties they were very fresh. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I felt very safe as all the staff had on mask and were all social distancing. I have to come back for breakfast! Bless up

This is my second time coming to this location. The first time was a pleasant experience but today wasn’t. I didn’t get the employee name but she was a young looking girl with a yellow polo shirt on. I asked her a few questions to see what options I had and she was getting very impatient with me even though there was no line and when I walked in she was just standing behind the counter. At the end I asked her “do you guys have soup?” She said no and stormed off to the back. Just left me standing there. Very unpleasant experience.

Walk into the restaurant at 530pm and they have no beef patties available..... none, mild or spicy.... This is what you are known for???

I was amazed that when I walked in everyone greeted me with a smile. The food was amazing and after I purchased my food the young lady at the counter told me to have a golden day. That was just the icing on the cake for me! If your looking for an authentic Jamaican restaurant to eat at with first class service I recommend this location!! Keep up the good work!
