Everything from pre- registration to admission to procedure to discharge went smoothly. The staff were super nice and attentive from nursing on down to patient care technician. Lab technicians were awesome and didn't keep me up too long in the middle of the night. It took a while to get the meds I wanted but again as a medical professional sometimes we are difficult patients and like to bend the rules a little. My care team from the 11th until 13th were annoyingly attentive to my needs and I would return again to this hospital for care. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. The rooms were nice and comfortable and privacy respected. Members of my care team were Kamille, Barnes, Melania, Shaniska( i probably spelled my nurse name wrong but she was real about recovering and my meds), Mrs. D., Deb from the lab, Michelle, Rozelle, Ines, the environmental lady that cleaned my room, PA Carla, Dr. Nguyen, his surgical assistant forgot his name but he made me laugh loved his humor about recovery. Care coordinator James, DoN and nurse managers were nice as well in ensuring my care team did what was expected of them. Forgive me if I did not remember your name you guys were annoyingly attentive and I was in and out of sleep lol some names did slip thru the cracks and the masks didn't help.

I recently gave birth to my first child and I wanted to share the amazing experience I had with the staff. My delivery nurse for Dr Cohen, Mary was such a sweetheart she even came by to check on me later that evening. My night nurse Tiffany I can honestly say you were so amazing and dedicated. I’m happy that theres people like you that still care. You were truly such a blessing to help me throughout my stay. I wanted to thank you personally for all your help and patience you had with me being a new mom. The food caretakers Cassandra such a sweet soul and made us feel comfortable. Being away from home and cooked meals you made our stay that much easier. You checked on us and made sure we were being taking care of. Thank you to all the nurses that assisted us. Christine our lactation consultant it was a pleasure to learn from you through my new journey. Our baby China Doll was the talk of the staff. I’m so grateful for our experience and wish much success to all the nurses and staff at HCA University.

I have had a good experience here within the emergency room. I was taken back and assessed quickly. The nurses and doctors have been friendly and communicative. In addition to great and efficient medical professionals, the facility is very nice and clean.

Beautiful hospital, incredible staff! Odette Dixon, RN Director was so sweet, and very helpful. The Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Blom did an amazing job, the staff of anesthesiologist, Dr. Michael and his staff and make sure that every single need was met to ensure a very smooth surgery taking extra precautions. The ICU nurses were great Danielle, & Jennifer both went above & beyond with much love, patience, and dedication to the patient making sure all needs were met. The PT came in and did a great job, explaining Physical Therapy and working with a patient. The food was excellent and served hot. If you are looking for a state of the art hospital this is it.

I just had my beautiful baby girl at HCA Florida University Hospital. My experience was amazing from the beginning to the end. Everything went extremely well. From doctors, nurses, and staff, everyone were so welcoming, patient, caring and kind. They supplied me with everything and informed me so well on how to take care of myself and my newborn baby. I'm extremely thankful for the amazing care that I received. You were all so wonderful!

My grandma was seen for a minor stroke. Service has been very professional and courteous. Both doctors and nurses at the ICU unit have been extremely informative with the family every step of the way. My grandma has been treated with respect and dignity; which means a lot to her. She also said the food was delicious! Thank you HCA Florida University Hospital for your care and support.

The way I was treated at this hospital was spectacular! From the moment I walked in the doors to the moment I left, extraordinary. The staff was 10/10 amazing. I was treated extremely quick and efficiently. I was constantly checked on to make sure I was doing well. Within 5 minutes I was put on fluids and tests were being ran. The manager of the hospital came in to check on me as well, as this hospital informed me they make sure each and every patient is being taken care of. I felt like I was at home. I have never had such a good experience at a hospital in my entire life. I will never go to another hospital after visiting this one. Absolutely outstanding treatment and amazing, positive staff. I am very grateful that I chose this hospital.

Best hospital ever my sister had deliver to the hospital my beautiful niece. Best hospital to give birth from the cleaning lady to the dr very professional and welcoming all of them no exception. I would like to mention, me and my sister favorite nurse Belinda who took good care of my sister. She was very caring and pay attention to details. Her attitude is the best full of energy. She always 1 minute away when called and problem solving. Thank you so much Belinda for going above and beyond.

Had surgery at this facility recently. To tell you the truth I felt like I was in a five star hotel nothing Hospital the staff was so friendly from registration with Lisa and Daisy to the nurses upstairs that prepared me for my surgery. It was just nonstop care and comfort all the way can stop telling my family and friends about this facility I would recommend it any day of the week I will go back there if I have anything else to do. They are so attentive and caring you don't even have the time to ask for something because someone is always there asking you if you are okay. Just want to say a big thank you to the staff from reception, nurses, catering staff, housekeeping and the security guard that check in. Five stars are not enough thank you so much I'm making my stay here memorable

I gave birth 3 weeks ago here and I cannot even explain how thankful I am for my nurses that took care of me during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum. Mary, who was the head nurse put me at so much ease and helped me mentally get through my birth. I didn’t want her to go home! Stephanie was also so good to me from the moment I walked in. My doctor Samantha Bunting was always so compassionate towards my feelings and fears of giving birth. She did whatever should could for me to avoid a c-section. Eureka in postpartum was also so quick and efficient to my needs after the birth. She was an absolute huge help towards my husband and I. I don’t know what I did to deserve such amazing nurses but I would recommend this hospital to anyone. Also the entire place is brand new and beautiful. Rooms were extra big. Everything was clean. Food was okay. But it’s hospital not a restaurant lol

I recently had to visit the hospital due to issues I was having that is connected to a very rare medical condition that I have. I unfortunately have to visit the hospital quite often since my condition is unpredictable, and I’ve had different experiences from different hospitals, most of them not pleasant. Because of this I am nervous to go to the hospital. My experience at HCA Davie was wonderful, and it was all because of my nurse Dionne. She was kind, empathetic, attentive…pretty much what every nurse should be. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and put me at ease by keeping me informed of my treatment plan and what they were going to give me. I have never had such a positive hospital experience until I met Dionne. She’s set the bar so high I know I’m going to be sad if I don’t end up having her the next time I go to the hospital! Sometimes you meet people and you know that the job that they’re in is not what they want to do; they’re doing the bare minimum and are only there to pay the bills. Dionne was made to be a nurse. She was so knowledgeable and kind, and I was so thankful to have her by my side through my visit. Thank you Dionne for your hard work, your empathy, for your expertise and for going above and beyond in taking care of me. It means the absolute world to me and my family. HCA made the best decision ever when they hired you to work for them! I would also like to thank the sweet woman who worked in housekeeping that kept my room clean. She also went above and beyond to make sure my room was spotless, and that everything was where it needed to be, and had the kindest smile!

Best hospital and care team in the world!!! The hospital, equipment, everything is brand new! It feels very clean and organized and not as hectic as other hospitals. I had my baby there and had to stay for 5 days due to complications. The nurses and care teams in Level 3 are just amazing! Professional, knowledgeable, super friendly and always there for you! Highly recommended… Plus: the food for a hospital is quite good.

This was the best hospital experience I have ever had. From the gentleman at the front door to the doctor, every person gave me a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt like I was as at a hotel instead of a hospital. I had a private room both for my pre-op and after surgery recovery. They also wore masks which, as a high-risk patient undergoing surgery, made me feel comfortable and showed they really care about their patients’ health. The facility was clean and parking was easy. The food was good, and food service was very accommodating. I appreciated how they provided a nice basket of toiletries in each room (another hotel-like touch). This hospital was unlike any I have visited. It was truly a great experience!

The staff are so nice! All the nurses, PT and techs were very vigilant of my care. They were very helpful with my family as well as they stayed overnight with me after my surgery. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever laid on and wished I could have taken it with me. The food service is top notch and not the typical nasty hospital food. I would definitely go back to this hospital if I needed anything health related and refer others.

So grateful for this place. Recently delivered my son here and it was the best experience Ive had thus far. Dr. Salas is amazing. The nurses were very caring and helpful. Nurse shu made sure my recovery experience was nothing but the best. The lactation nurse Donna was outstanding I reached out to her weeks after being discharged, voicing complications I was encountering with breastfeeding. She was able to provide me with much needed advice. She even provided a 1 on 1 session to show me how to get my son to latch. Since then breastfeeding has been nothing but beauty 💙💙💙, Thank you staff

I just wanted to share my amazing experience at the HCA Florida university hospital, I recently gave birth there and the staff made me feel like me and my baby were the most important patients there, since the moment we arrived till the moment we left the experience was incredible. The facilities are in great conditions, clean and make you feel safe. I had several amazing nurses taking care of me, Debbie, Jackie, Tiffany, I wish I remember every single name. Special thanks to Marina from labor who was with me throughout the C-section and explained to me everything that was going to happen, that definitely gave me a piece of mind and to Marta in recovery she took such great care of me and taught me couple things that helped me so much as a first time mom. The lactation consultant was really helpful, the baby nurses were so caring, Dr. Khral was great, she really tried for me to get a natural delivery, even though it was not possible she was really patient with me, I was lucky to have her there for my C-section, everything went well. Food was delicious and the kitchen staff was really nice, housekeeping team was great as well. Overall a 5 star experience, that definitely exceeded all expectations.

From the time I walk into the emergency room the staff was very warm welcoming to the registration, er nurse to me getting admitted then having surgery everyone was so nice and very educationally, they had no problem working as a team with the doctor or tech, and not to say the hospital was so clean you would've taught it just open the day I came In, even housekeeping came in greeting me introduce herself then ask me how am i doing if I need anything, I mean I felt like a celebrity here the way they treated me, you would've taught I was the vice president and I can't leave out physical therapy, occupational therapy, and kitchen service. I was really please with the care and service I highly recommend this hospital for any care you would need. Thank you to all the staff that attended to me while I was there I truly appreciate you all.

As a rule I hate hospitals. The last great experience I had at a hospital was when my oldest daughter was born at Baptist Hospital In Miami FL. That was more than 20 years ago... until now. I came in through the HCA University Hospital emergency room and as I figured, I needed surgery. The nursing staff, admin, staff, doctors, maintenance, lab staff, food staff were all absolutely excellent. I want to thank my nurse Alex (she was awesome) and Andrea, and the others. I never thought I would receive such kind and professional care. I cannot say enough about them. Wow. Thank you for your amazing care.

We had the best experience at HCA University Hospital in Davie, FL. The staff was so welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked through the doors. My wife gave birth to our first child so we were very nervous being new to this. They made sure to answer all of our questions and take the nerves away. I could go on and on about each different staff member who came in to check on us, always with a friendly smile and helping hand. Thank you for everything! The facilities are clean and brand new as well which was a plus!

From check in through the registration desk to being personally escorted to the surgical suite. Everyone was professional, polite and helpful. The pre op nurses, OR Surgical Team, and recovery team, were all polite, and helpful and made my experience pleasant. My Total Vaginal Hysterectomy went well without any complications. I’m grateful to Dr. Black and his team for making this a very positive experience.

I normally don’t write reviews on anything but there was absolutely no way I was not going to share my experience with this hospital. This hospital experience felt like staying at a hotel! The labor and delivery rooms were huge and had almost everything you need to prep for delivering a baby. I hardly reached for my hospital bag. Not to mention the entire staff was beyond PHENOMENAL. Every employee my boyfriend and I came in contact with was so positive, knowledgable, helpful, and just overall wonderful. A huge thank you to the nurses, house keepers, and even the cafeteria staff for making the delivery of our first baby one that we will never forget. A special shout-out to our night nurse Nadine who treated me as if I was one of her own throughout my entire labor- I really couldn’t have done it without her. I could go on and on about how great this hospital was but I honestly could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back whenever we decide to have baby #2! Thank you again to the entire staff for everything. Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re definitely doing it right!

I was helped at my appointed time. The staff were friendly & professional. I had 2 exams - back to back. This was the best and fastest mammogram I have ever had. Then had an ultrasound which was also done promptly and efficiently. I was in and out in 45 minutes. Hospital is clean and spacious. A good experience.

I have been at this hospital since Friday morning. I came to the ER due to breast issues. The ER was phenomenal and I had no problems there. However, things changed when I was admitted. The attending physician did one assessment on me, and when he did come back it was the same question is the pain still there? He never checked to see if my breast was Harding or if the pain spread from that area. He just stood 6 ft from me and went over the same thing saying that we are going to continue to run antibiotics and do a follow-up with ultrasound because he said " that this hospital does not have the equipment that they need to rule out cancer." In my mind, I am thinking why am I here then? Since Friday I have been on an IV with antibiotics and been given morphine to help the pain. Nurses for the last 4 days have been outside my door at their workstations laughing loudly and have been having conversations about patients between the hours of midnight to 3 in the morning. I am a patient that should be resting but unfortunately wasn't able to do so because of your unprofessional nurses. To make matters worse, I have to call them 3 times for medication which takes them 30 minutes to even get to the room. I have never received an assessment until this morning when 2 new nurses came into my room took my vital and then asked to listen to my chest back and check my swollen feet. that was a first for me. I have asked for a patient advocate 3 times and no information was provided to me to contact the patient advocate. it just kept on being disregarded. so here I am not very with this hospital, nor the care that I received after I left the emergency room.

This was the best experience I have ever had in a hospital! From the minute I entered the door until I left the building! I was treated with white glove service. The facilities are so pristine and clean, I felt I was in a four star hotel and not a hospital. The staff was fabulous - I have never seen such well trained employees in customer service in a medical environment as in this hospital! From the concierge service at the front desk to the technician caring out my test - My hat off to you and the management and trainers involved in making this experience happen! I will spread the word and if needed I will definitely choose this hospital over any other!! Congratulations!!

Love this hospital. I have been here for 5 days due to my delivery of my son everyone was so nice, helpful and patient with me. Big thanks goes to the over night team because I didn’t feel no one was sleepy, mad or sad on their shift. They were very alert and on time with everything. The cleaning crew were helpful as well even tho what I asked wasn’t in their job description they help as well. Food was good, dessert is amazing. If I was to have another baby or if anything wrong with me this would be my number one choice to come to. Thanks to you all for taking care of me.

The birthing experience here has been a 10/10. I’m forever thankful for Dr.Salas he’s an amazing OBGYN. He listened the whole time and made sure any issue I voiced was taken care of immediately both as his regular patient, and at delivery. He promised to deliver my baby and sure enough made sure he was available to do so. The whole staff was amazing, From Triage L&D, L&D, Baby Nurse, to postpartum, case management, NICU food service, and environmental services. Desii and Mercedes from L&D are so amazing, I’ve never trusted 2 nurses more in my life than I do them. They made sure to keep reassuring me that I would be just fine. Anna from anesthesia is so amazing as well! She was not leaving that room until I was okay and numb. I’ll forever be grateful for the staff that came together to ensure my delivery and postpartum was a good experience.

I went in to the ER due to a laceration on my hand (thumb) resulting in stitches. I was brought back right away. 3 different people came in asking the same questions. The doctor finally came in and set up the table. He said he was going to get something he forgot and didn’t come back for an hour and half. Which I understand it’s an ER and other emergencies could be more severe than mine. But once the stitches were in they were going to discharge me without wrapping it up. I had to ask. They said come back in 7-10 days to have them removed. I went back at day 9 to have them removed. Two different people looked at the wound and asked how many days it had been. They both said it was time for them to be removed. The doctor came in and asked the same questions and then proceeded to take the stitches out. After they were out she then tells me that they should have stayed in a few more days. They did nothing to close the wound back up. All I got was paper strips glued across it. And once again upon being discharged I had to ask to have it wrapped up.. which was the worse job I’ve ever seen. They used paper tape and a folded up piece of gauze that immediately came off because it was taped in the crease of my hand. I had to wrap it back up once I got home. The only person that seemed to actually care about what had happened and getting me help was the security guard at the ER entrance.

I delivered here this past Tuesday, the labor and delivery /postpartum care team were all phenomenal. Every single person I came into contact with were super friendly and knowledgeable, especially Marla. She was so loving and compassionate and literally held my hand the whole way through knowing that I’m a first time mom and was a little nervous. I felt so comfortable, I will never forget how caring and sweet she was to me my husband and mom. The postpartum rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the food was great and I was able to receive great advice from the lactation consultants. I had not one complaint my entire stay.

The BEST hospital experience I have ever had! From the moment I was admitted at the hospital to the moment I was discharged, all of the staff were fantastic. I recently had a c-section delivery with the AMAZING labor and delivery staff by my side every step of the way. Nurse Clanda is a phenomenal leader, and it shows! Her staff is a great reflection of her and made my experience one of a kind. Spending days in the hospital prior to delivery was very nerve wrecking and uncomfortable. However, with the continued support and comforting bedside manners from the dedicated nurses (Jennifer, Marie, Sara, Tiffany, Monique, Stephanie and a host of others), all of my fears were relieved! GREAT JOB ladies!!! My family and I cannot thank you all enough!!!

I delivered my son here and had the most amazing lactation consultant Donna. She was so kind, patient and knowledgeable about the whole process and explained everything during a chaotic time. She made the breast feeding process an enjoyable one and truly set my baby and me up for success once we left the hospital. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your knowledge will continue to be spread through the community.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! My mom stayed here and was treated terribly. Neither the doctors or the nurses communicated with her or us about her condition, test results or care. They didn't know what they were doing. She had to wait hours for water and for someone to take her to the bathroom. When they took her blood they were not competent enough to stick her one time. My mom was throwing up and the nurse said to hurry up so I can give you these pills. They absolutely did not care about her. It's just sad that during this time at a hospital that's not even crowded patients aren't getting proper care.

I was admitted to the Emergency care here, with horrible Covid symptoms and other infections. Nice clean Hospital but the staff is rude and unprofessional. 1st time coming to this hospital because my sister is on the labor and delivery floor and we was told by the security guard that only the father and 1 additional person is allowed upstairs which is ridiculous because whoever the mother choices should be allowed. Then we was told that the additional people can’t even sit in the waiting room, that we would have to go wait in the car. But sitting here it was already people sitting in the waiting room. The security is rude. If it was to save my life I wouldn’t come to this hospital. All staff or jobs dealing with people should have good customer service skills especially if the people are being nice to them. Please hire more security guards because they are rude and unprofessional! DO NOT GO HERE DO NOT PLAN FUTURE VISITS HERE.

Overall great experience. Hospital is brand-new. Medical staff were attentive, had fantastic beside manner, and cared about my well-being. My operation was organized and coordinated on a timely basis. Surgery was a success. One minor issue was that the post-op guidance was initially vague. Medical team quickly reached out to clarify how I should care for surgery incision and to answer specific questions.

I gave birth to my first born here, of course like any other new mom I was terrified of birth because you always hear these scary stories. But the staff here made me feel absolutely amazing, they are extremely caring & attentive, they don’t make you feel dumb for asking the smallest of questions. They make you feel at home & reassuring. The food was actually really good, the rooms are huge, which was nice because you can feel a little more comfortable. Overall I love this hospital so much, I am so happy that I was able to have such an amazing experience giving birth for the first time.

The time I spent at HCA was spent in the hands of a different level of professionalism than one would find normally in South Florida. I waited maybe 30 seconds before I saw the first nurse who was very sweet and friendly. Once I was shown into a room I was seen by the attending nurse. Again a warm greeting and a scenes of calm. Especially since I was sent directly to the ER. After a first visit to a walk-in clinic. The D.O. was very attentive to my concerns and ordered tests to evaluate the situation at hand. The level of pain I was experiencing and the treatment I received is the reason why I will continue to use this faculty. Once the results were in the physician went over the prognosis and asked if I needed further clarification. I was impressed in the sincerity and concern on the young lady's face because the diagnosis took longer than normal. Being in an ER after seeing a visit to a clinic makes for a stressful situation. After leaving I was in little pain versus walking in. More importantly I felt like I was treated like a person not an insurance code. Thank you and continuous success for the future. Jason C Hodges

My son was born at this hospital and it’s absolutely amazing ! It’s very clean and the staff is amazing nurses, doctors, everyone. But my favorite by far was Sherry in Guest Relations . This hospital has been nothing short of AMAZING! The L&D, mother baby unit was great! From the nurses to the nurse leaders even the cafeteria staff treated me so well. My PCTs, the ladies that came to sanitize the rooms were so nice and took time to talk to me. The food so yummy!!! Great hospital

I visited HCA on 1/11 and 1/12 first for the pre op visit then for the procedure the following day. Everyone I came in contact with was amazing, well except for security. Once getting past the person there everyone else was a delight. I was greeted with warmth and you can tell those wearing a mask had a smile on their face. Everyone was so helpful from Lisa at the registration desk, Ms Pauline who escorted me upstairs, Eric at the second floor reception desk, and all the nurses with whom I had some contact. Nurse Lisa, Nurse Serena, Nurse Gabby all played a role in making a hospital visit an easy experience and enjoyable! Also Cindy, P.C.T, was friendly and has a great spirit.

From the moment I walked into the hospital, Security and Registration welcome me with BIG Smiles, Professionals at its BEST. Your staff was attentive and caring. The nurses the anesthesiologist and Dr. Kevin Schrock treated me like family. Dr. Shrock did exactly what he said he would do.😊 HCA is definitely rated #1. I received the BEST care and my pain level was very low. I'm telling everyone about the love your hospital staff pours 🫗 into your patients. This is not my first experience receiving the BEST care from your hospital staff. HCA You do care about people Health and I thank you. Lets not forget the levels of this hospital, it's clean, it smells good and looks good inside and out😍 On Wednesday your nurse checked in on me by phone and i truly appreciated receiving that call. Thanks for hiring the BEST OF THE BEST. Thank you all for taking good care of me and may God Bless You ALL, Love you guys 🩷💛❤️🩵
