Memorial Hospital is a Deathtrap. Memorial Hospital has an abysmal lack of sanitation standards and a staff devoid of empathy. Three of my loved ones died from infections, while under the "care" of Memorial. You would think that a broken leg would not be considered a medical death sentence in the 21st century. Well that is if you didn't know about Memorial Hospital. My grandfather was admitted for a broken leg after a fall and the nurses decided to catharize him to avoid having to walk him to the bathroom. However, his chart had a do not catharize order due to his enlarged prostate that the nurses/ doctors - by their own admission - did not read. He died from a line-infection. Suffice it to say the cycle repeats and now three of my loved ones are dead due to Memorial's professional squad of executioners disguised as medical workers. If you value your life or the life of a loved one go to another hospital.

We visited the ER on November 2019 because my husband had a very bad stomach pain. It took them 4 hrs the put him on a bed another 2 hrs to see the doctor, just for when he arrived diagnosed him with “gastritis” without doing any type of exam. He got some medication and an X-RAY which did not help at all. The reason I’m giving them 1 star is because what he has is not gastritis it is a stomach bacteria. The bill was over $4000 just for nothing.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this hospital!! I had to visit the ER and the service was terrible, unprofessional staff. You wont receive a bill, but you will get a collection company calling you and they will mess up your credit with no reason, you wont be aware of this until it is too late

We went to urgent care for COVID19 testing and after an hour of waiting and lining outside the clinic then they said that we can't be test for COVID19 only for those who have symptoms" . This is a ridiculous customer service when they post a notice on the the door that only for those patients who have symptoms will get a test. In the first place they didn't inform the people waiting outside before that, they will only taking patient without symptoms and that is unfair for us and other patients. It doesn't matter if they have symptoms or not they come there for a test to be sure they are not infected, not only that those who comes in earlier but don' have a symptoms are taking care of, so this is really unfair for everyone waiting in line and upsetting the system is not organized.

Stay away from all their hospitals even for testing. They always hit you with undisclosed and surprise bills. Even after I went for a test and pay their cash price for the test. Later go other bills for additional services that were never disclosed. In addition, wait time was 3 hours for a simple test.

I am blessed. Dr. Tarek Zakaria is my neurologist and has been a gentle, kind and compassionate man. What better to have when you are going through tons of seizures and neurologically being upside down. Fiorella Saka (APRN) has been a giver and so understanding - she has helped me through so much over the last 5 years . She has given direction with love and joy. My main man Dexter (EMU nurse - (Daisy Award candidate for sure) I remember him for his joy, laughter and being a space of comfort during difficult times. How blessed I am to find this team and all the nirses that work with them - everyone has been gentle yet still helping to move me forward in my life. Dr. Demassi for his outstanding surgical work and guiding a lost man into his best decisions and getting amazing results. I pray others get the love, care and results this department has given to me AND continues to give to me.

So besides not taking me with bad cold symptoms to treat me . Few weeks after I'm trying to make appointment online, and it says that I can't make appointment for covid and I can't make appointment for lab works so what you people do there ? What's your actual job, seriously? Changing doctors immediately woth another company. The worst. So disappointed. After so many years you became the worst !!!!!

PCAs, Nurses and staff in general are great...but this hospital is old and in very poor shape. At one elevator bank... 1 out of 4 elevators is the only one working for days now. When it's not the air conditioning, it's the toilet, sink or bed that broken. The line to get in the lobby, to visit anyone was 20-25 people long.

Well, not to discredit the low reviews there seems to be many of them. I’m sure they feel they have the reason. I was admitted to the Memorial Hospital system, Pembroke on four different occasions five if I recall in the last five years for some serious stuff I would recommend these facilities over any hospital in the district like Broward Health the county public hospital system Memorial Bends over backwards to take care of patients.. one time when I was there they even got me no cost Primary care and which I was able to choose my primary care office from years previous I am so grateful to all the staff of hospital, primary care, outpatient radiology, and all other. I’ve never been treated like a human being like I have been at this hospital. As I said previously, in the last five years, I’ve spent no less than 10 days at the Memorial Pembroke… stellar staff, great food, steak tips, scrambled eggs with bacon, grits, hashbrowns, and wheat toast with orange juice and coffee …are you kidding? They nursed me back to Health and I joked and told them I’ll be back for lunch tomorrow when I was discharged. 👆😎

My mother had her wallet stolen out of her purse. She also had 2 pajama tops stolen as well as her electric toothbrush and charger stolen.

Treated was respect and dignity almost like royalty. The second-born nursing staff went above and beyond their call of duty.

this hospital still had double patient rooms. this is 2022 not 1950. this is unsanitary, uncomfortable, noisy and makes the stay even worse. if I go to a hotel I do not get a random roommate. why double rooms ever existed is beyond me. why this hospital is so backwards in 2022 is disappointing.

Incredibly crowded hospital. Expect long wait times. However, I still give 4 stars because once you are seen by a doctor (after many hours of waiting), they are experts and do a great job. This place seriously needs 500 more MD's and 1000 more nurses and the appropriate floor space for the amount of patients that are here. Parking lot is crazy also. When I say crazy, I mean its totally undersized for the amount of cars here. It is a long wait to park and also exit the parking garage. Valet is no better, expect a very long wait. Actual patient care, once you are finally seen by a doctor, is very good. Again, the nurses and doctors (and all the other staff) are all experts and very helpful. I just wish the facility was much bigger and more staff to handle the enormous number of patients here on a 24/7 basis. I will say that typically, the cream of the crop of doctors and nurses are the ones who work here, and that is very nice as a patient to have that locally.

I do not understand why the rating is a 3 star? I received 5 star care.

My husband and I went for our COVID-19 vaccines this morning at Memorial Miramar. The process was fast, efficient, and actually a pleasant experience. I had a 9 AM appointment and I had been vaccine by 9:08 AM. My husband had a 915 appointment, and we were in our car by 9:30 AM. Thank you again Memorial Hospital for being there for us. I had my first child there almost 46 years ago. I have now moved to Palm Beach County and still consider Memorial Hospital My Hospital. Thank you

I must say that since I arrived to register for my appointment at the Neurology Division in Aventura, they treated me very well, Mrs. Elizabeth was very kind, the nurse and Dr. Ana Isabel Coronado were so professional and at the same time so detailed in performing an examination on me. evaluation from which I was so calm to move forward with my recovery. Thank you very much for your great work and the dedication you had with me.
