The care from the moment the patient arrives until the moment he leaves is excellent. All the staff are professional, attentive and ready to help. The lady at the reception is very efficient, she answers the phones by herself, attends to everyone who arrives and has a help phrase with everyone. A place of excellence.

Everyone was very nice and professional here. Everything was done in a orderly manner. Those at the front desk and even in the back rooms were always very nice and professional. They all wanted to make sure that you were comfortable and relax. This office also did a courtesy call the next day to check up on you and your progress. Very clean and also had coffee available for you. I recommend Memorial Same Day Surgery Center West. Those that work there answered all my questions. I will be returning here in a few weeks for another outpatient surgery.

Great experience,, wonderful staff...especially the nurse who took care of me yesterday, unfortunately forgot her name. The only thing I would suggest is that you are more aware of the people sitting in the waiting room wearing their masks on their chin or not wearing them at all, some due to pretending to drink coffee. I counted 7 people yesterday doing that which made up the majority. This is a health facility, the expectation is that they shouldn't be as lax as other types of businesses.

Everyone here was so kind and caring. They made the biggest procedure of my life feel like a piece of cake. Thank you Claudia, Dr. Wilson, Rosemary, and all the rest of your team. I feel bad for not remembering everyone but I was on the anesthesia, haha. I am recovering very well! The location was also convenient as it was close to the hotel and my surgeon's office.

The front office staff was unhelpful and rude. Anytime my mother and I asked a question it was as if we were bothering them. The actual surgery team was great and very calming and informative. They made me feel very comfortable during my procedure.

I had surgery there just yesterday. I was so impressed with the treatment I received, I did not want to wait to post my review. The staff and nurses were amazing. Kudos to Nurses Dumy and Nadia for their caring and nurturing ways. The nurse anesthesiologist, Laurie, was an angel. I explained to her that I had just had spinal fusion surgery in May-22 and to please make sure they move me gently. She promised to take good care of me including putting a pillow under my knees to put less stress on my spine. Thank you Laurie, my back feels just fine. This is not my first visit to the center and it will certainly not be my last. It is the Ritz Carlton of surgery centers.

Dr was awesome the lady that took care of us pist-op was amazing. Sorry I can’t remember her name now because she deserves to he recognized. She made my son so comfortable and even helped him to the car. Our only issue was the nurse in the pre-op area. Not her fault I guess but it was extremely difficult to understand what she was saying. We had to ask her several times to repeat herself which only made my sons anxiety grow before surgery. Wish there would have been someone else there to help him so he would have been a bit calmer.

My surgeon uses this hospital and I can see why! I was in and out so quickly, the paperwork was a breeze, everyone was super professional and my anesthesiologist had me cracking up! My only note would be to the staff: please ask for pronouns. Trans patients often have to use our dead names and I was here for gender-affirming top surgery and had to hear “she” the whole day. I go by “him.”

I have used the outpatient facility at this hospital several times. They are efficient and professional. I only wished the nurses would do a better job getting the veins for the IV. They always seem to struggle with this simple procedure with all patients. It can cause pain and additional stress to the patients

Everyone person I met on the staff were very kind and eased any anxiety I had. There was one anesthesiologist (older man) who I luckily never had to speak to, but while waiting to be taken back for surgery I heard/watched him be rude to other patients, but even then, the other staff made up for it immediately and were super nice to the patients.

The same day surgery clinic at Memorial West is 5 star in my experience. The nurses do a fabulous job and are always professional and friendly. Joann at the front check in is an asset and keeps things running at a high pace. I’m always well taken care of when I go for my procedures.

    The staff was very respectful but not really much help. I was freezing in the rep room. I asked for another blanket. I was giving one. That wasn’t enough because I was still cold. The nurse let me know that I already have two and she couldn’t give me anymore because they are for the other patients. So I was freezing and not comfortable before my procedure. Then I had to ask questions about my post op care instructions become I heard them being told to the patients around me but not too me. It’s been two weeks since my surgery and I’m still in excruciating pain. I had to call my doctor’s office because I didn’t feel like I was getting any better/improving. The nurses I had outside the operating room; didn’t have great bedside manners;

I have had the pleasure of having two Laser cataract surgeries at Memorial Same Day Surgery West just a couple of weeks ago. Both Surgeries went extremely well and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding , competent and efficient surgery. The staff at the front desk and the surgical team were awesome. Dr Alan Mendelsohn performed both of my surgery’s and he and his staff are the best Eye Surgeons !!

Overall it was a good experience. The receptionist was a little non welcoming and once inside my request was not taken into consideration for my IV insertion, but after missing twice, the nurse brought in someone else to do as I originally asked. My surgery was great, fast and painless. My discharge nurse was THE BEST!! Overlooking a few things, I was pleased with the outcome.

Paperwork very slow had to handle right detailed list of pharmaceuticals and why I take them etc. etc. was not advised that I needed to have a complete list of all pharmaceuticals the reason I was taking them amounts, etc. etc. This information could have been obtained from the surgeons office. I had to arrange to have them faxed to me, so I could hand write them on the forms. This alone took an hour and 30 minutes trying to have someone fax her from another source. Clerical support was of no support to me.

The nurse's bedside manner could definitely be improved. Waking up from anesthesia, I was having a panic attack, and no one helped me. They all walked by and looked at me while I was hyperventilating and shaking. They just told me to calm down and it's not that bad, no comforting at all. When the nurse asked who was there to pick me up, I couldn't answer and she prodded me very harshly on the shoulder and repeated her question very loudly. My partner had been waiting in the waiting room for over an hour before they told him he could see me. He was able to calm me down quickly with a little comfort and reassurance. The nurse even said "wow! Your heart rate is so low now!" So she obviously knew I wasn't okay, but still did nothing. I gave two stars because the front desk staff was very nice.

Have been wearing glasses for 27 years. Was never a candidate for LASIK. Thanks Dr Preschel for suggesting Clear Lens Exchange. The surgery center was great, I enjoyed the experience especially since I no longer need to wake up and put glasses on for the entire day. I went from not being able to see one’s facial features to typing this on my phone without glasses. What an exciting new life!!!

I was scheduled to have my right eye 👁 cataract surgery. Everyone was very nice, very helpful and very professional. I am glad that I was informed about Dr. Spratt. I have no complaints about the service I received. The parking could be a lot better other than that everything is fine.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Explain the procedures in great detail and stays with you during procedure when I had trouble locating the medication I needed. They had me come over and just plain gave me the medicines that I needed so that I don’t have to worry about that.

A month ago I went to Memorial Same Day Surgery to have my cataracts removed and of course I was nervous because I didn't know exactly what to expect. But my experience couldn't have been better; The staff there know exactly how to handle the situation, and they made me feel better and more confident. The final result exceeded all my expectations.

Overall I had a great experience. One nurse I had wasn’t attentive to me. I asked for help going to the bathroom and once I was ready to get out she ignored me. I had to carry my IV bag in one hand and try to close the back of my gown (completely naked) with another. I even put the IV bag back myself as she was walking around! I noticed other nurses asking their patients if they needed to go to the bathroom or for help. I was not asked that or given more compassion with this nurse. All the other doctors and nurses were wonderful. My surgery was two hours later than stated. I wish more patients/visitors didn’t have their masks on their nose because it defeats the purpose! Also please monitor visitors’ behavior more closely. One visitor next to me was joking about his wife (who was with him) dying while I was ready to be taken into surgery. That’s not okay for anyone to hear and the pre-op room is not a locker room for jokes.

The staff is always nice and professional. I didn't like the wait time to be seen by my doctor. To many patients being scheduled too closely together. The recovery room should be separate from the admission patients. Room is just to small. I also had an issue with the billing department, how they will not give a patient advance notice on the deductable. I attempted to get this information days prior only to be notified the day before my procedure. That need to be addressed by upper management.

The nurses were amazing! The care was phenomenal and I have zero complaints. Excellent beside manners from everyone and I felt comfortable knowing I was in good hands. Thank you for making my first procedure a smooth one. Including my wonderful doctor!

Super clean very friendly staff, I went with a friend who was having a outpatient ambulatory procedure. Check in was painless and a very quick process, they let me go into the back area where they prep you for whatever procedure you're having, they have quite a few different Medical specialties under One roof. Again I was just very impressed with the cleanliness and the efficiency of this facility and would definitely look to go here for an ambulatory procedure.

The people was so kind, the offered quality in their work. The nurses took care of me, and it seems was a good teamwork!! The Doctor and anesthesiologist were super kind, they kept me well informed about the procedures and at the end a very helpful feedback!! I really had a good time, peaceful and confortable!

From the moment I stepped in the door, the staff made me feel comfortable and that alone significantly reduced my anxiety about my procedure. Everyone put their best foot forward to make sure that I received excellent, top quality care and after-care. Thank you.

I was very satisfied with my short time at this surgery center. All of the staff was kind and made me feel very comfortable! Highly professional and the employees communicate with you on a personal level to make you feel the best you can while you’re in their care! Very thankful to have had such a positive experience.

The staff is Awesone! everyone makes up you feel comfortable, from registration to the nurses, to surgery to leave. The nurse even transported me to my driver's vehicle. I really had a great experience and hope to have my next procedure there again.

I highly recommend if you need surgery. They were amazing. The nurses were very caring and worried about my well being and comfort, especially kaykay. My hand was cold and she brought me a warm blanket right away to keep it warm. I didn’t even ask for it, she just heard me say it was cold and came to my rescue. I was so impressed with their caring service.

My 18 months old daughter had to have a minor procedure (ear tubes), but I was so worried about everything, she is a baby... But everything ran so smoothly, even better than what I could with for. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, was so kind and patient with her and with me and my husband asking a billion questions. It was definitely a super good experience!

I love Memorial West Hospital. The same day surgery center has the most amazing staff. They were so patient and took excellent care of my son during his surgery. Nurse Patsey treated him like her child and she even called to personally check on his recovery process.

This was my second visit to the Memorial Same Day Surgery Center. The registration and admission was prompt, orderly and extremely friendly and personable. I cannot say enough about the surgical staff. They were so pleasant, caring and supportive. How much this meant to me.

Liked the staff very much. All went well. I did notice a laceration on the back of my right calf, where the compression stockings were placed. Same place where that bottom edge of the stocking. Would be. It's about an inch in length and a straight edge. No one told me about it. I noticed it when I got home from surgery. Just bizarre. Good thing it did not hurt. Was not bleeding. Was dried, but it is a deep cut. Not a surface scratch.

My cataract procedures went very well. Dr. Wm. Zambrano, MD, the center and its staff were all very professional and knowledgeable. All very caring of the patients. I do not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Memorial Center.

The nursing and front desk staff were super professional and lovely! However I was told I would receive reimbursement for my surgery since I had pre-authorization and all I had to do was reach out to the billing department. The billing department was unresponsive to multiple phone messages and when I finally reached them they refused to help me and they told me that no one should have told me I would be reimbursed. Very unimpressed.

Staff is very friendly, courteous, caring and helpful. I went to the wrong building and the lady security guard sent us to the right place in a “golf” car so my husband didn’t have to walk (he’s 80); I needed a straw for his chocolate drink, didn’t ask but the front desk lady noticed, came, asked and went looking one for him, Janice and the nurses were kind enough to provide a chair for my husband to sit near me (he’s with Alzheimer’s and would be scared without me), while Dr. Wise did the procedure on me. We thank you all for your dedication, professionalism and kindness. Highly recommended. Cong and his family

Everyone that I dealt with at the surgical center was so kind, friendly and professional. D was my nurse, Carmen was assisting him. The anesthesiologist came and introduced himself and told me what would be happening as did Lori who actually did the anesthetic during the surgery. I don't remember the recovery nurse's name but she was wonderful too. Great experience!

👍 Excellent Doctors. But they do not care about your time. If you are 15 minutes late, you must reschedule but they can keep you there sitting and waiting almost two hours. They are not efficient with the time between tests. That is something that should be addressed by the doctors. I do Love my...

😠 I hope this review helps another mom who is being brainwashed by this office. After coming here for my anatomy scan, the doctor was concerned about a scan and advised me to come back at 32 weeks. I did so and the doctor suspected that my son was small and growth restricted, and advised me to come ba...
