I put off writing this review for a while. In 2020 the world was hit with a pandemic. Unfortunately it was the same time I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I had heard such great things about memorial regional, so there was no question where I was going to give birth. Unfortunately the service and care that I received while giving birth and afterwards were less than satisfactory. Well not naming everything. What stuck with me the most is while I was on the operating table, I informed the surgical technician that I could feel him cutting me. And instead of him immediately stopping he continued to cut me. If it wasn't for the nurse stepping in and telling him to stop. I don't know what I would have done.

As a physician, this place is a horrible representation of a healthcare system. Registration blatantly lies to you and says that you can pay out of pocket (flat fee) or go through your insurance, but never tells you that the radiologist separately charges you. So you get a bill for 600 plus dollars plus the close to 400 dollars they charge you. It is shameful that they abuse patients in this way. The techs are great there though.

It’s hard to comprehend How this hospital had 4 stars. I came in with massive headache which I had for 3 days. They gave me a medley of med thru IV. Doc said he wasn’t ordering an MRI bc these were very expensive and the machine was small (I had mentioned being claustrophobic). So a male nurse who was very professional came in and gave me the meds and a blanket and turned light off and said he’d check on me. Doc came in about an hour later to ask how I was feelingZ I said my headache was going away my slowly but that I was very lightheaded. He told me it was the meds and that I could stay there as needed and that I shouldn’t drive. A frantic woman came in in the most loud and aggressive way possible, turned the bright lights back on and said loudly “you’re discharged”. She quickly and indelicately strapped everything off and literally kicked me out. She removed the blanket and asked me to go several times bc I was moving as fast as my body and head allowed me. I asked for her name after telling her the doc had just came in before her and said I could wait I there until I was feeling better. I could barely move bc of the lightheadedness-she just said sorry but an ambulance is bringing someone in. Well, I waited for my Uber for a while and saw no ambulance. I will be writing a complaint. I felt like a farm animal being pushed away with a stick into another area of the farm

I've tried to find a good hospital since moving to south Florida. All the hospitals are dirty and seems like the medical staff are just there. cross contamination everywhere. No one wipes down anything. There is garbage bags on the ground. I was scared to let them give me a IV. Where is a Mortan Plant or Mease Countryside when you need them.

Stay away from this hospital from hell, my father was refer to therapy and this was a total week from hell for my family, is NOT a hospital and from the minute you arrive they want to Block you from visiting your love ones, my father was in need of a particular medication for an stomachache and it took close to 16 hours for him to get his stomach medication, literally I can walk to Walgreens before they try to be of any help, instead of giving him the medication they send him for ct scan, x ray and blood work. If you have a love one kEEP THEM OUT OF HERE, During the whole time we never saw a doctor and the nurses are only following orders ( I guess from the finance director ) my father when in for therapy and came out with really bad back pain and his stomachache hurting really bad. KEEP YOUR LOVE ONE OUT OF HERE, from arrival the lobby security are SuPer RUDE

Honestly I never bother to write these things. But when the service is this good, well organized and above and beyond any experience I have ever received, well, I felt obligated on behalf of the staff to write this. Professional, prompt, organized... This was my first time there. I wouldn’t go any other place from this day forward. Thank you All at Memorial Regional Hospital South! You guys are the best!

I first discovered this hospital when I visited the emergency room, the staff is amazing, kind, human and professional. I live about 30 minutes away but I drive there for all my checkups and exams. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted by kind people, the registration for your appointment is fast and efficient, done by a polite staff who really cares. The imaging department is easy to find and the mammogram process is done by a very professional staff that not only is efficient but has empathy for the patients. From the moment you make an appointment by phone till you actually are there and meet the staff, the all have a great attitude and it makes you confortable. Always check if they take your insurance, of course but truly, this hospital is great. As a cherry on top, parking is free and conveniently in front of the building. The Memorial Regional Hospital South has a long list of services, I am pleased with the services I received and most importantly, I really am impressed with how nice everyone is.

I had surgery last week and from the moment I was admitted until it was time for my discharge I was treated with respect, dignity and just the kindest medical staff I’ve encountered in a while. The nurses assigned to care for me were excellent, Charmaine and Heather. Thank you to the anesthesiologist, physician assistant and the entire team who took great care of me. Lastly, Dr. Perez thank you! Great team of Professional is what you as a patient will experience at Memorial Regional Hospital South.

WOW, what an absolutely incredible experience I had here this morning. From check in to check out I have absolutely zero complaints. Andy (not sure if this is the correct spelling) at the check in was extremely nice and friendly when I first got there and was very personable. My pre-operative nurse, Lori, is an absolute angel with a heart of gold. She is extremely nice and really is a breathe of fresh air. She always made sure I was comfortable and explained everything anytime she had to do something (Vitals, med , etc). I cannot say enough nice things about her, she really is an amazing woman. My OR nurse, Estefania, was also very pleasant although I only saw her momentarily before heading into surgery. My anesthesiologist was Doctor Sacks and he was great and friendly as well My post operative nurse was Charmaine and she was amazing. She made sure I was comfortable and took great care of me after surgery. She was personable and friendly and was very easy to talk to. My surgeon, Doctor Jeremy White. Not only is he a professional but he’s extremely good at what he does. He’s so nice and makes you feel comfortable with what he’s doing. I highly recommend him. I cannot recommend this place enough. A huge thank you to all the amazing nurses and doctors for everything that you did today, along with a handful of others that helped out along the way. You’re all amazing and I’m so thankful for everything you do.

I usually have excellent things to say about the Memorial Healthcare System, but their careless and incompetent medical team really dropped the ball this time. I look forward to speaking with a representative as soon as possible. I did not receive the appropriate treatment that I came for, and I am highly disappointed and upset.

I just had surgery 2 weeks ago and the service was absolutely amazing, from registration all the way until I left the hospital, but special thanks to Argentina and Gabriela the sweetest nurses you can ever have in the PACU and the anesthesia team was superb!!! No nausea, no pain!!! Unbelievable 💕💕💕

I will never go to this hospital again, I figured I will give them the benefit of the doubt because it had some higher ratings than some of the other hospitals in my area and even though some people put it down I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Boy was I wrong. I got there a little bit after 10 PM last night and I left there after 3 AM without even seeing a doctor. I asked them quite a few times when I was going to see a doctor and they kept saying there was only one doctor on, I kept seeing patients leave and empty beds from those patients leaving and yet new patients would come in and get those beds and he would go in and see those new patients and I would still be waiting in the room for him, finally I got up and left, what kind of patient care is that? Any amount of money they will bill the insurance for Dr. care and everything. And that’s wrong considering I didn’t even see the doctor

I had my surgery on Monday October 24th. Every single person who I interacted with me was absolutely pleasant. Thank you Andy at registration she was amazing. My OR nurse Marlon was 10 out of 10 perfect. My anesthesiologist Dr. Ramos was super nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Brudo is so patient with excellent bedside manner. He is a blessing. He is truly a gem. Kudos to the entire Memorial South Team you all are top notch. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Today I had a very bad day at this hospital, Mrs. Ana from the mammogram imaging department told me that she needed me to have the ultrasound there too because they claim that the clinic where I did it is a clinic that does not work. That is nothing professional for what made me waste my time by not telling me the day I made the appointment that they needed a copy of the ultrasound, besides she says I could not request it online I had to go find the result. They should know that one has health problems to stop talking badly about other clinics and do their job better.

As a Canadian it was finally a pleasure to go into the ER and not wait an entire day. I was treated excellent, seen right away and felt that all the staff from the sign in, to the nurses and doctor took the time to ask me questions and listen. Came in with an extremely painful tooth infection and unfortunately no dentists were available during thanksgiving. I was prescribed the correct antibiotics and pain relief as well. Thank you!!

I presented to this emergency room on August 28th 2022 with syncope, chest pain. I have an extensive cardiac history to include a cardiac loop recorder, SVT, P.E. I seen the emergency room doctor no x-ray just blood was drawn and discharged. I never seen a cardiologist. I ended up in Cleveland Clinic hospital admitted for 4 days now. I'm contemplating legal action.

It really depends on the dr you get. If you get Dr. Huber, don't expect any relief unless he "finds something wrong with you," so you'll get nothing unless you're dying... Zofran if you're lucky and this guy prescribed me an antipsychotic for nausea KNOWING I already take an antipsychotic daily (it's my records) instead of just prescribing Zofran which is what HE gave me in the ER. All other drs there are extremely compassionate and caring. Nurses are ALWAYS amazing and you usually never have much of a wait, for an ER that is amazing in my opinion, and they will transfer you to the main hospital if you need to be admitted.

If you’re in a serious emergency please choose another Memorial facility. I came in 6/5/2023 at around 7:30PM rushed thru the ER chest pains short breath back pain stomach pains and abdomen pain. I was sat in a waiting room because there were four people whom came before me. I could have went into shock waiting. They should know how to identify when the scenario is serious. My families response was fast they had to go out side mind you I only sat there for less than five minutes. After going out side the institution my family called 911 and I was rushed to Memorial Regional on Johnson Street where as soon as I walked in I was assisted and stabilized. I was admitted on the 5th of June and released today June 8 2023 at 6:30 PM. Doctors won’t keep you in if it’s not serious. The health care providers at Memorial South and their team need more training and empathy. Thanks to the Bariatric team at Memorial Regional and the staff that helped me out these last few days thanks to them I’m recovering and feeling better. Please dear Medical Directors or Memorial South address the teams give better training into setting priorities on cases another day the patient might not be able to think as fast as I did and things can go left.

Big big thank you to the team that made me comfortable the minute I walked into the hospital. Everything was taken care of professionally, efficient and thoroughly discussed with me before I even got into surgery. Thank you to a phenomenal team that did great work and knew how to comfort me while I was nervous. Nurse Lorie anne, my anesthesiologist dr.rivera, amber and whomever I forget to mention that took care of me. Big thank you!

I just went to the ER and I needed to brag about the floating nurse that took care of me. Silvia was the floating nurse in the ER last night. She is an incredible person. Very kind, gentle, caring, and passionate about her job. She made me feel very comfortable. She is a great team player and adds value to the ER. If you are taken care by her you won't be disappointed. The Doctor was calm, thorough, and answered all my questions. He was a nice guy.

I gotta say the service was quick and efficient in the ER. I went in for a dog bite and was seen within 10 min. for vitals and only waited another 15 min. for my room. Not long after I saw the Nurse and doctor they told me what their game plan was for my wound and within the hour had done my X-ray, given me my tetanus shot and had hooked me up to an Iv for antibiotics. What took the longest was the IV ( 90 min) but that is completely out of their control. I will definitely come here for emergencies even though it’s an hour away from where I live ( which is right by a hospital). A huge thanks to the staff for the wonderful work and hospitality. 6/5 stars

I'll try and share this with you. Just west of park road, between hollywood blvd and pembroke road. first you will notice, there is really no place to park, ( always full), but you can valet, so bring some singles. You go through front doors, and show id, and proceed to registration with the beeper they give you. a few minutes later, ( when your beeped), a fast and painless process, I went to radiology. A few minutes later I was called. Folks, you are lucky enough to need their service, you won't be disappointed. They are all a medical provider can be, and should be. My many thanks for a service well done!!

Overall, my experience at Memorial South was decent, on 3.17.23 late evening. I believe I waited about 30 minutes before being taken to a room. Upon arrival, the employees at the security podium were not very attentive. They just stood around and chatted with one another. The female behind the security podium just gave me a paper to fill out and told me to bring it back when I'm done. No one asked for a photo id, which was different. The atmosphere at the security area just seemed a bit unprofessional. Many patients are coming to the ER because of pain or other serious ailments. Attentiveness is always greatly appreciated. On another note, after entering a room, everyone seemed to be pretty accommodating. The PCA, Angel, was attentive and pleasant. He changed my pillow case for me even though it had already been changed because I noticed a stain on it. Later, I met with either the doctor or the charging nurse. The charging nurse was Nurse Christine and the doctor was Dr. Nesselrod. Whichever person attended to me, was pleasant and communicative. The person that was there for the longest length of time was Nurse Natoya. She was really attentive, amiable, & communicative. I also had someone that wheeled me to the back to take pictures. She was very efficient and pleasant as well. Thank you for your services ;I do know that your jobs are not easy.

Incredible how a facility like this is still allowed to be operated. They are extremely unprofessional. Many nurses treat patients with no dignity or decency. I know first hand they received multiple complaints about one specific nurse yet same person is still employed there. They schedule you for an appointment, you confirm yet they can’t find you in the system. Always incorrect billing.

I am very blessed and beyond happy to have been treated by a friendly and amazing team of healthcare professionals over at Memorial South❤️‍🩹. I had an out patient surgery today and from the point of registration (or rather the moment the sliding doors opened at the main entrance) to the point of discharge it was a nothing short than a wonderful experience. Going to the hospital is already nerve racking as a stand alone emotion now add knowingly going for surgery and it’s just a little explosion of all types of emotions (no matter how small the surgery is). These men and women whom I crossed paths with were true professionals making me feel safe and at ease. I was sure that I was in the most capable of hands with the best team appointed to me. I wish I can shout out all those who helped me but to be honest names have never been my thing. If this is by any chance read by administration I was seen today 9/1/22 with Dr.Amanda Allen please extend my gratitude to all those wonderful professionals. You’re lucky to have them; they’re the reason it operates as it does. Ps: idk if it’s a gimmick or part of an elaborate theme but I absolutely loved it - at registration I was given a “VIP Bracelet for cocktails” at prep time I was given a “party hat” and finally it was time to “party”. 🍾🥳🎉 (Registration band, bouffant hat, and surgery time) 👏🏽 they surly read me right, I can never deny a chance to party! Lol ♥️

My main nurse Carolina was very attentive to my needs. When checkin out I was also assisted by Laura. Both amazing! My surgeon Dr Christopher Brooks is a genius! His bedside manners are fantastic, he makes you feel secure and cared for.

My grandmother's nurse Julie , was wonderful. She was very kind and professional. Dr Huber was also very attentive and had great bedside manner. I couldn't have picked a better place to bring my family. The charge nurse Christine made sure to check in periodically to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend this ER

I was in extreme pain from a migraine accompanied by light and sound sensitivity. The check-in process was smooth, then there was an assessment soon after by the nurse (who provided a blanket for me to cover my eyes with), and I was brought to a room quickly (much quieter). The doctor came in and calmly introduced himself. He asked pertinent questions and implemented a plan of care. Blood tests, medication to help with the migraine, and a head scan. All of this including a review, and paperwork, with a prescription called in to my local pharmacist, within 3.5 hours. Sometimes I and/or family members waited to be seen for that long. Everyone was so professional but also kind. I received several warm blankets at various points during my stay. In closing, I would like to say that I will be going back to Memorial Hospital South, if ER services are needed in the future!

Took my brother to Memorial South ER. People were very pleasant and efficient. Place was clean and wait was almost nonexistent. High praise for the Doctors and Nurses! They went above and beyond by actually getting us a wound care nurse which was very reassuring. We left with easy to understand instructions. If you have to go to the emergency room, that’s the one to go to!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Memorial regional South. I was treated like a queen from the moment I walked in the door. My nurse, Hether met me at the elevator, and took such good care of me. She answered all my questions, and really tried to calm. Everyone respected my privacy, and was very intuitive about my anxiety. The hospital was super clean and everyone demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. Not that I want to have surgery again but if I did, I would definitely choose Memorial regional south.

The staffs was amazing, the doctor made sure before I left the ER I was feeling better. I was so happy that was where I ran to get treatment. All processes went fast

From the moment I walked in, the process was seamless. Each employee was so courteous and friendly. Check in was immediate and swift. The nurse, Laura, met me at the elevators and didn't leave me until they came to take me for my procedure. Laura was friendly, personal and just lovely. My doctor, Dr. Smith was calming and so caring. I met the anesthesiologist and she was thorough and friendly as well. I thank each of you to help me be so very comfortable! Five stars to all!!

Memorial Regional South Physical and Occupational Therapy (affiliated to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital) is an excellent facility to treat all kinds of Physical issues. For over 15 years I.have received multiple Therapy sessions there: feet, knees, hands, and now lumbar. I cannot complain not once. All the therapists are knowledgeable, reliable, very conscious, and helpdul. They are all very professional and experienced. Most have been working in that facility for years. I, personally, know many by name. I highly recommend this place for all kinds of Therapy.

If I would need another procedure I will make sure is in Memorial Regional Hospital South.

I’ve had 4 or 5 appointments over the past 2 years. Until my last appointment I’d give everyone I interacted with 5 stars. Wait time was excellent and the environment was clean and functional. My last appointment had a few issues. Waiting for someone to check me in and verify insurance took a really long time. The person assisting me was not friendly. But other than that everything else was great.

If I could give 0 star I would. I visited the outpatient facility three weeks ago to have a procedure recommended by my Dr. All I can say is disgusted, from start to finish. I cannot believe they are still in operation. Lets start with the billing department, they requested a copay for my deductible. After my insurance paid the entire bill, they refuse to refund me the money. They took my deductible applied to an old bill I was disputing, without letting me know and said it was hospital procedure. When ask why was I not told about it their respond was it is our policy. Not sure what type of policy this is to not disclosed procedure to the patient. Now on to the procedure, my appointment was 12pm, but did not get seen until 2pm. I ended up with a rash and a swollen arm the next day, so naturally I had to go back to the hospital, but now to the ER. I barely saw the Dr, but for a brief 5 minute, had to contend with a resident, who had no idea what he was doing. So he recommended a ultrasound of the hand and blood work. Lets get to the nurse, she was busy chatting up the patient next door that it was hours before I was discharged. Oh and they still could not tell me why my arm was swollen, and I had a rash going by the sight of the procedure. Their recommendation was to follow up with my primary care doctor. At least they could have done an allergy test. That would have been my first guess. But no, they wanted to bill the insurance as much as possible. Days later the arm was still swollen with an awful rash going. Bottom line, if you can afford another facility please go. If you have good insurance, they will bill for everything in the book even though it is unrelated to your symptoms, so you would have to keep coming back. By the way the blood work did show signs of some allergic reaction, but was told the blood work was fine. Found out this after leaving the ER and reviewing the bloodwork.

It's Saturday morning review. Sitting here in the imaging waiting room for the past 15 minutes. No one at the reception desk. The other staff members just jovially passing by to and fro. No one even acknowledged us. After 15 minutes I asked a staff member if someone is working the reception desk, she said , let me call her phone. It's been more than 5 minutes and still no one to assist us.Shame on Memorial Hospital South.

I would like to take the time to let you know about the level of care that I received on 10/2/19, while at Memorial South Facility in Ambulatory surgery for a breast reduction. I have had a few hospital stays in my 39 years of life, in various places around the world, but the care I received at MRH South was by far the GREATEST care I’ve ever received!!! From the moment I arrived (in a state of starvation and thirst - due to surgery, and instructed not to eat or drink the night before) the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Johnathan my pre surgery nurse, was nothing short of spectacular. He treated me as if I was his family. Very kind, gentle and made me feel very comfortable. I was very very nervous coming in about the surgery, and he made the pre op stuff very calm for me. His calming demeanor, his knowledge of care and his professionalism will be something I will never forget. Every medicine I received in my IV, before injecting into the line, he made sure to tell me what it was, and why it was being given to me. He always made sure I was comfortable, giving me many warm clean blankets. He was very respectful of my space and privacy and spoke to me in a very calm, professional way, yet so sweet and caring as if I was his family. I was there alone, and a ball of nerves, so this made it going into surgery that much easier. Upon waking up in the recovery room, my nurse Gabby couldn’t have been sweeter. She was there for everything I needed and not once did I ever feel alone. I truly will NEVER forget my experience at this facility. This huge surgery could’ve been so much worse had I not received the care from the staff that I did. I was frightened beyond belief and I was embraced with such relaxed, professional, knowledgeable and loving staff, whom made this experience so much easier for me. The anesthesiologist was incredible as well. I cannot say enough great things about the team there at MRH South! You should be very proud of them! They went above and beyond. I am so very grateful that my doctor (Dr. Stern) is affiliated with such a great facility! Thank you the the whole staff of MRH South Ambulatory Surgery from the bottom of my heart!!!! I am so grateful for professionals such as yourself, that give not just surgery care, but an exceptional, caring experience! Sent from my iPhone

I'm here now and so far so good. Xrays and ct scan was done in under an hour. Everybody is nice and attentive. I came here from another hospital after reading reviews because the other hospital only one mile away (Memorial Regional Hospital) kept me waiting too long. MRH South is the way to go if you're in pain and can't sit around waiting for them to do their job.

If you want to be taken care of this is the place to go. Daniella, Yoline, Michael, Dr V and of course Dr Shuster. I had the best care everyone was very personable answered any questions I had. They all made me feel very comfortable. Daniella even called me to check up on me after I got home. Thank you all so much! Great team! I highly recommend!!

Also, Robin treated me with extreme professionalism and helped me with all my questions and concerns. Casey my PA, she was very sweet, smart, and compassionate. Totally professional as well as the rest of them. With everything going on in the world it’s nice to know good caring people still exist. Thank you all

My niece, a 4 week old, is curently at this hospital due to a terrible accident - requiring a trauma team and everything. My SIL and brother are currently separated due to COVID rules and only my SIL is allowed in the hospital while my brother is waiting in panic in the parking lot. I will be the first to say that COVID is something we have to worry about, but this is ridiculous. My SIL keeps going in and out of the hospital to tell her husband what is going on and get the emotional support she needs. Tell me, is this safer than if he were just in the room with his daughter and wife? No! COVID is spread through touch and droplets while speaking and breathing. If they are both wearing masks and washing their hands, it would be perfectly safe for him to be there. Instead, my SIL is touching many surfaces going in and out of the hospital and spreading germs. As well, there is no difference between her germs and his when it comes to COVID, if he were exposed, so would she be. So not only is the hospital not allowing them to be together to support each other during this horrible time, they are also refusing to let them take her to another facility for care - though the other facility would be able to treat her just as well. This hospital may employ good physicians, but the hospital itself SUCKS! Go somewhere else!

Horrible attitudes.... Asked why I was getting pads placed under my clothing oh your in the hospital.... Very bad attitude..... Was tired of taking pain meds.... Morphine & fentynyl.... The NURSE had an attitude because I denied pain meds... She said oh you're not in pain then..... So I asked where did you hear this from? I just don't want your pain meds..... I want the surgery to remove the issue...... Makes me think she should be admitted also..... Never said I wasn't in pain I just don't like the feeling of the junkie meds.... Very bad experience here staff needs social training....

Very poor ethics and disregard for their patients financial situation. I had been making payments on an outrageous medical bill (even with good insurance) & contacted them about a significant change in income because of the pandemic. They sold it straight into collections and are now threatening to post is on my credit report. You’d think they would be a little more flexible and accommodating during a time like this but Memorial is definitely not.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone at Memorial Regional Hospital South who helped to provide young women like myself with a low cost screening mammogram during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My experience was lovely from start to finish and I know it will give me such peace of mind. Awesome, caring employees and very streamlined service. Thank you again, keep up the great work!

My visit to this hospital was just phenomenal and I couldn’t have been any happier! Parking was easy to get to and they also have complimentary valet. Check in was simple and straight forward. Staffing in registration is cheerful and it’s a great environment to have especially when patients come here to pay large amounts of money. I walked up the stairs to meet my nurse and noticed it was very clean even in the stairways! Staffing was beyond exceptional! The head nurse greeted me with her name and her title and let me know who would be taking care of me, this made me feel comfortable and secure. My nurse was empathetic, passionate about her job, honest, and very cautious. The anesthesiologist team was very knowledgeable and explained every single thing, even gave me the allotted time to ask questions. My surgeons explained everything thoroughly and made sure I had no more questions before taking me back for surgery. Post op was great as well, my nurse cheered me on after my surgery and this gave me more strength to walk and such. She took took very great care of the time I was there. I could not have been any more grateful to have been in the hands of this team. Thank you for all that you do every day for our community.

My aunt was transferred this evening to this hospital rehabilitation center. She is 87 and her food was placed in her room 628 far from her bed. She called me at 9: 30 at night to tell me she is starving and need to use the restroom and nobody is answering her calls. I personally called to speak with the nursing station and of course it rings without any answer. Horrible care and service. In the morning we will ask to be discharged .

I rather have died than received this $32,000 bill in the mail. Came here after an accident, my ribs really hurt. Turns out there was nothing wrong they were just sore and they charged me $32,000 to say that. Progress nor Cigna want to take on the bill. It’s ridiculous! This is the USA for you!!!!!

Today I am transferring my mom to regional south. Coming from another memorial hospital where I have had a really negative experience with the way my mom was been treated as a patient and us the family members. I really hope mom gets treated with care, compassion and treatment she needs. And us the family members be informed as to every possible treatment. I am well informed about my mom's condition and I am hoping regional south steps up to the plate and become the extraordinary and excellent hospital should be. I will post again to follow up on our experience at memorial regional south.

I have been to the breast center three times since October. Every time the staff has been extremely friendly and pretty much on time. Today I had a biopsy done and it was such a painless and smooth procedure. I had the sweetest nurse, Luz. Also the doctor and the ultrasound technician were very caring and attentive, making sure that I was doing alright. I definitely recommend this hospital!!!

I went in for a for the 3D mammogram which I have to pay for because of no insurance, they supposedly find something on the mamo. They then tell me I need to get a diagnostic mammogram and Ultra sound which again I have to pay for it off pocket. So far 100.00 for mamo then 160.00 for ultrasound and they want to charge me 245. For the diagnostic. I couldn’t afford to do both so I got the ultrasound which came back with no Mass or cysts but they still insist on me getting a diagnostic mammogram or my results are not complete and I can’t be cleared medically. This place scams people that have to pay out of pocket..they think everyone is rich! I will fight this to the end of the earth because it is just wrong!!

This is in response to my 1 star review. After posting, registration was amazing and called me to call the radiology billing department to send the bill to them. They were so helpful/available for me every step of the way from forwarding my bill to coordinating the transfer. This hospital is an amazing facility, I would highly recommend them.

What an amazing place! I went in for surgery and the first thing I noticed was how clean the place is. The registration process was fast and the person doing the registration was really sweet. Once upstairs, all the nurses were really nice. Once in the recovery room, again super friendly and nice nurses. Highly recommended.

I had a lumbar puncture procedure Thursday 3/14 at Memorial Regional South, and I wanted to take the time to relay my positive experience. I felt very nervous regarding the procedure. The radiology staff was very kind, patient and supportive towards me. Angelique was very kind and patient and Dr. Epstein was very professional. Everyone took their time to explain everything that was being done. Their support made the experience manageable. My sincere gratitude to everyone involved!

I have to share the time I had with Memorial South Hospital. After having experienced a near death accident or a condition that leaves others unfortunately with a severe physical deficit, the rehab I received at MSH was incredible! Due mostly to the medical attention I received from Dr. Rolon Torres. A knowledgeable, caring, approachable man who knew how to visit, inform, treat and speak with me as I am a recovering stroke patient. God bless Dr. Torres as well, the nurses, administrative/hospital staff, and therapists (as I know I was a challenge to work with). Thank you. -Richard Torres

No one ever wants to be hopitilized but if you had too, there could be no better place. The staff from beginning to end have the best attitude any one could ever ask for. Everyone from security to the cleaning department or to whom ever you see in the hallways on any floor is willing and able to help you with anything you may need. The staff not only helps you with your needs but smiles and acknowledges your presence at any time while your in the hospital. It doesn't matter what it is, they are happy to assist you. My experience with Memorial Mirimar, memorial West and now Memorial South has been the most professional but also a very happy staff as well. These hospital should be an example to follow for other hospitals that I will not mention. To the people in charge of hiring these magnificent employees great job! To all the employee's at each hospital thank you for making me feel at home. Thank you for taking good care of me and my family. You are appreciated. 👏👏👏
