Memorial Manor has been a life saving blessing in my life, and I feel compelled to share my story. After stroke I suffered syncope at home, and collapsed unconcious, sustaining trauma to my face, chest, jaw from the fall...I was found by my neighbors and I was taken to Memorial Regional. In the hospital they stabilized my condition and after 2 short days transferred me to Memorial Manor for rehabilitation with blood pressure jumping to 190 by 120. My condition was awful...In the mirror I could hardly recognize myself - half of my face was paralized, nose was crooked to the side, mouth was not moving and crooked, I could not get up from the bed at all, I could not eat...I was in so much pain in my back, shoulder, my chest... I needed oxygen constantly. I thought this is the end. Memorial Manor professionals nursed me back to life day after day fighting for me and for my health. Wonderful nurses (special shout out to Michelle, Natasha and Aurora) showed me care every single day and went above and beyond- feeding me, bathing me, changing my diapers, performing massages, doing physical therapy with me. Doctors always checked on me, listening to me carefully and taking great care of me. Special thank you to Dr. Dazil. Kitchen staff came up with soft and nutritious menu to address my inability to chew. Every meal is prepared so delicious! God bless Memorial Manor staff for giving me my life back- my face looks Ok again, I started to get up and walk with a walker, my blood pressure is finally under control and I feel ready to return home. God bless all of you, you are my heroes. Your hard work has been life saving for me and I am forever grateful. Thank you a million times.

I write this on behalf of my aunt Milagros Aramburu. She came to the US to visit in April, her original stay was for two weeks; she caught Covid and was hospitalized two days after arriving. After surviving the worst kind of covid there is, she was taken after 3 months in the hospital to Memorial Manor. As she describes it, she found many angels along her almost 4 month stay that made her days much better. They helped her recuperate her strength, kept her company, and assisted her with everything she needed. They even made her feel special on her birthday! She was finally released this past weekend, and she couldnt be more thankful for the people that work there and saved her life. Thank you to all the staff that did their work with compassion and empathy to the people that are there. Thank you Memorial Manor!

The anxiety one feels when a loved one โ€“ especially oneโ€™s 81-year-old mother โ€“ is hospitalized is unequaled. Except when that loved one is moved from a hospital setting to a rehab facility when the worry is increased tenfold. Our mother was recently admitted to the Memorial Manor Skilled Nursing Facility as a result of a horrible fall and subsequent fracture. However, our concerns and worries were instantly calmed when our mom shared with us the wonderful experiences she had with the entire Memorial Manor staff. The entire team was highly competent, knowledgeable, positive, friendly, and professional. From Nadine, Janette, Angella, Tiffany and Lesline to the Physical and Occupational Therapy professionals who helped make our mom as comfortable and positive as possible, every aspect of her stay at Memorial Manor exceeded expectations. We are forever grateful for all of the motivation and support that the Memorial team provided โ€“ so much so that we would recommend them over and over again. Thank you to the entire Memorial Manor team for providing peace of mind to both our mom and to our entire family!

I am a short term rehab patient who had some issues along the way with only night/weekend staff. It has been rectified. The rest of the staff is absolutely the best! They cover your needs instantly. Rehab dept has been excellent. The rehab dept work you hard but for your own good. They are very friendly and professional. Activities dept keep us busy and entertained with different activities.

My mother Joy Washington was transferred here after being admitted to Memorial hospital. I am out of state and my heart sank how will she be able to face a difficult recovery alone. Memorial manor cleared all my fears and doubts. The facility is sparkling clean, the nurses and doctors have been attentive and courteous, taking fantastic care of my mother. We are beyond grateful and want to say big heart felt thank you. God bless you for your professionalism and kindness. Your hard work makes a difference in lives of patients like my mother. We thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for wonderful meals, mych needed massages, strengthennung physical therapy and relentless doctors' attention.

My current experience at Memorial Manor. I enjoy the services I receive, everyone is very cordial. The employees listen and try to assist you as needed. My visitors love the facility and state it doesn't smell like other homes. The place is always clean. The food is good and give you a lot to eat. There are enough activities to satisfy everyone with different choices. I especially like the Bible study. I am glad I chose this place while I recuperate. I recommend Memorial Manor!

My expectations coming to the Manor were not too high, but once I was here I felt that they all became like part of my family. They helped me with my rehab which was one of the best. The food is excellent and they always give a nice little snack. The outside grounds are well maintained and it is nice to go strolling and feed the turtles by the lake. The staff is wonderful and I highly recommend Memorial Manor.

It is my honor to recommend Memorial Manor Rehab to whoever might need rehab. They are a caring hard working group of people. They are responsive to the patients needs. If you are in need of rehab. That means you are at a very low spot in your life. The last thing you need is to go to a rehab with people who really donโ€™t care about the patients. Memorial Manor Rehab is not like that, they truly care about all patients under their charge. I also want to extend my gratitude to the behind-the-scenes staff whose contributions often go unnoticed. The administrative team, housekeeping, and all those who work diligently to maintain the Manorโ€™s smooth functioning deserve a special mention. Thank you once again for your unwavering commitment to patient care. You all have left an indelible mark on my heart, and I will forever be grateful for the positive experience I had at Memorial Manor Rehab. Please convey my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who played a part in my care. Wishing you all continued success in your noble mission of healing and compassion.

My husband was transferred to Memorial Manor after 9 days in hospital. In the rehab they literally put him on his feet!!!! All the staff- the doctors, nurses, different therapists, aids-they all did their best to help my husband. And the results were great- he could walk again with the walker and not sit continuously in a wheelchair!!! Big improvement!!! I am very thankful ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

My father was admitted for rehab after an operation. The treatment in the manor was superb. The staff is fantastic, well trained and some of the friendliest people in the world. Even the volunteers here carry that helpful and happy spirit. If a loved one needs rehabilitation or more specialized care, there's no better place to get it.

My partner had an unfortunate fall twice on the same day and wound up in the hospital. After his release he was sent to Memorial Manor for rehab since he was a severe fall risk. During his stay he had physical and occupational therapy with two terrific therapist(Monica & Jackie) who encouraged him to put his best foot forward to recovery. All the therapist are wonderful, I heard other patients praising their therapist as well. The nurses were great but I must compliment two who always went above and beyond to make sure my partner had everything he needed and ok emotionally. Thank you Johanne and Rebecca. It was a pleasure working with Social Services for a smooth transition home, they provided everything we needed and a lot of moral support. Hopefully I wonโ€™t need to go to a rehab but in the event it happens this would be the place Iโ€™ll choose. Once again thank you all.

My mom was there for 30 days rehabilitating from a spine injury and the care was exceptional. From the aides, to the nurses, and everyone in between, the facility was about as good as one can ask. The food was very good, the rooms clean and quiet. The therapists should be given all-star status, and the social workers were excellent and answered all questions asked of them. All in all, we were extremely lucky to have my mom in their care, and she's is now at home and doing well. Thanks again to all !!!

The physical and occupational therapy departments are truly Outstanding. the staff in these two departments are caring and encouraging. The nursing staff and nurse assistants are very focused on their patients care. The food is very good and accommodating to individual needs. The rooms are maintained very well as well as the property overall. I highly recommend this facility for skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapy!

My mom was at Memorial Manor for 18 days. Everything is outstanding at this rehabilitation center. We are so grateful for the care she received. No money can pay what the nurses and staff do at the hospitals and rehabilitation centers. This is truly vocational. Many thanks to all!

I really don't know where to start. My post hospital care was extraordinary. Thank you so much Kathy for the incredible physical therapy. The overall consensus is that I am doing amazing. Miss Helen thank you so much for having Rebecca helping me to stand on my own two feet for 15 minutes in Occupational Therapy which was important to me. Marta, RN your diligence in my medications has helped me to accelerate my home care well being. And to Donna who treats all of her patients as if they were her private duty patients with her superior care I say thank you. To each and every one who crossed paths with me during my stay at MM I owe my speedy recovery to each and every one of you. Whether your brought me water, ice for my machine, food or whatever my need was at the moment I am grateful. And not last Annette who took the time to show my son what a great facility I was going to after my knee surgery.

My mom was hospitalized and bed ridden for over a month and it was a grueling experience for her with almost no physical therapy. She was transferred to Memorial Manor for rehab. The experience was extraordinary. The facility is clean and well maintained. Almost immediately she was given a real shower and hair wash. They provided three hours of rehab a day and it was amazing, delivered with care and professionalism. The staff was so attentive and always there for my mom. Even the food was outstanding with a weekly menu provided ahead of time. It arrives hot and with hot coffee, my moms favorite. The visitor sign in procedure is fast and easy with convenient parking. I met with the activity director and mentioned my mom was concerned about her hair. The next day she had a cut and style. The case manager was available for questions and charting my moms complete recovery. THANK YOU THANK YOU To all the professionals at Memorial Manor.

Very disappointed!! I chose Memorial Manor based on many positive reviews and personal and professional recommendations. Although no place is perfect, I would think that after 3 calls to nursing staff and the charge nurse, my mothers diet would FINALLY be right. ITโ€™S NOT! She has diverticulitis, and ulcerative colitis. I have called and explained many, many times that she needs to be on a low residue diet. Meaning, no beans, no red sauce, no raw vegetables or acid foods like coffee. Several times a week she receives food she is not allowed to eat! She has lost several pounds, continues to get distendedโ€ฆ..this is a DIRECT cause of Memorial Manor not providing the right diet. I am satisfied with her care in all other areas. Iโ€™m at a loss at what to do. I hope someone from Memorial reads this and reaches out to help.

My husband stayed at Memorial Manor for one month and a half. The staff there were nice. The nurses were very knowledgeable, considerate and kind. Marta and Yulete were great. The nurses assistants were nice and willing to make sure my husband had everything he needed. Donna was always there to make sure of that. The wound nurse was kind. The occupational and physical therapists were professional, kind, patient and fantastic. The food was great too! The receptionists at the front desk were very polite and nice. Jim and Eileen the PAโ€™s were great and knowledgeable. My husband made a huge improvement health wise. By the time he left. To the entire Memorial Manor staff! Thank you so much for everything and making this stay for my husband very pleasant in the not so good health condition that he was in.

My grandmother recently underwent back surgery and required rehab at Memorial Manor. We are thrilled with our choice; the staff is exceptionally kind, attentive, and responsive. Special recognition goes to the outstanding nursesโ€”Donnett, Annette, and Donnaโ€”who went above and beyond for my grandmother's well-being. They really took the time to explain my grandmotherโ€™s progress to me and ensure she is having a comfortable stay. The entire nursing team is great. Keyla, her Case Manager, consistently provides informative weekly updates, guiding us seamlessly through the entire process. She ensured we have everything necessary, from equipment to home health services, and facilitated the required documents for follow-up appointments. The therapy experience was enjoyable for my grandmother, thanks to the excellent care provided by physical therapist Monica. The facility itself is impeccably clean and housekeeping is great. For anyone prioritizing top-notch care for their loved ones, Memorial Manor is the ideal choiceโ€”a place where dedicated professionals ensure the best possible care. I highly recommend it for inpatient rehab services.

This is my second short term rehab stay at Memorial Manor. The care is the best A+. Most of the nursing staff is good. My call lights are answered on a timely manner. The rehab department is wonderful. The activity staff is wonderful too and activities available at all times. The food is good for my diet. Overall the staff is very helpful.

The best therapists! They made my healthy side, arms and right leg strong and I can make many movements easier. Also they are always in a good mood which lifted my spirits as well, and it was a pleasure attending their respective sessions. Thank you for all you helped me accomplish.

Excellent. Case Manager, Nurses, therapists. Service. I just have words of thanks and gratitude for the love and compassion each and everyone had with me during the 8 weeks I was at the Rehabilitation. I will always pray for those living there and full staff that God grant all of you the love and wisdom you will need to make this place a second home for them. May God bless all the Memorial hospitals and Rehabilitation. Marta Valencia
