Memorial
Manor
has
been
a
life
saving
blessing
in
my
life,
and
I
feel
compelled
to
share
my
story.
After
stroke
I
suffered
syncope
at
home,
and
collapsed
unconcious,
sustaining
trauma
to
my
face,
chest,
jaw
from
the
fall...I
was
found
by
my
neighbors
and
I
was
taken
to
Memorial
Regional.
In
the
hospital
they
stabilized
my
condition
and
after
2
short
days
transferred
me
to
Memorial
Manor
for
rehabilitation
with
blood
pressure
jumping
to
190
by
120.
My
condition
was
awful...In
the
mirror
I
could
hardly
recognize
myself
-
half
of
my
face
was
paralized,
nose
was
crooked
to
the
side,
mouth
was
not
moving
and
crooked,
I
could
not
get
up
from
the
bed
at
all,
I
could
not
eat...I
was
in
so
much
pain
in
my
back,
shoulder,
my
chest...
I
needed
oxygen
constantly.
I
thought
this
is
the
end.
Memorial
Manor
professionals
nursed
me
back
to
life
day
after
day
fighting
for
me
and
for
my
health.
Wonderful
nurses
(special
shout
out
to
Michelle,
Natasha
and
Aurora)
showed
me
care
every
single
day
and
went
above
and
beyond-
feeding
me,
bathing
me,
changing
my
diapers,
performing
massages,
doing
physical
therapy
with
me.
Doctors
always
checked
on
me,
listening
to
me
carefully
and
taking
great
care
of
me.
Special
thank
you
to
Dr.
Dazil.
Kitchen
staff
came
up
with
soft
and
nutritious
menu
to
address
my
inability
to
chew.
Every
meal
is
prepared
so
delicious!
God
bless
Memorial
Manor
staff
for
giving
me
my
life
back-
my
face
looks
Ok
again,
I
started
to
get
up
and
walk
with
a
walker,
my
blood
pressure
is
finally
under
control
and
I
feel
ready
to
return
home.
God
bless
all
of
you,
you
are
my
heroes.
Your
hard
work
has
been
life
saving
for
me
and
I
am
forever
grateful.
Thank
you
a
million
times.
