I’m sad that now twice in a row, within a months time, we have had to wait over an hour to be seen. A month ago while my child was sick, we waited for an hour at which time and went to ask when we may be seen. The nurse was not polite in answering this question and said the doctor was in with a patient and there was still another patient ahead of me. My daughter is 2.5 and could not take waiting another 30 minutes to be seen so we left and went to the urgent care clinic. Yesterday, I took her for her check up and flu shot. We had a 3:40 appointment and we did not see her doctor until 5:15! The visit ended up being a complete waste of time because after a quick check up where no routine vaccines were needed, her doctor then had to inform me that there was no flu shots available. When I was checking my daughter in at 3:35, we mentioned wanting the flu shot at which time nobody said it wasn’t available. My daughter loves her pediatrician so this is going to be hard for her now that we need to find a new practice. It’s unreasonable to make young children wait over an hour sometimes 90 minutes in a waiting room and then an exam room. For your little patients and their families, you need to DO better!

I have been going to pediatric associates for 8 years now and I am so disappointed with the service at the Pembroke Pines/Hiatus location. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:50 PM for after hours and I did not go inside until 3:33 PM. No tissue boxes were available for the patient in the room as well. Next, I waited for another hour and ten minutes until the doctor arrived in the room at 4:40 PM. There was no apology no regard for the patient waiting. I had to ask for water from the front staff. All the while my son was miserable sneezing coughing etc. The clinic had no regard that sick children are waiting this long. They should not book appointments like this. When I inquired about the wait time the front desk lady tells me this is like an urgent care situation. I have been going to after hours for years now and I never had that kind of experience. The reason I always utilize after hours is so I DON’T have to go to urgent cares. I left the office at 4:55 PM.

If I can put zero stars I would. Extremely frustrating that you call a call center in order to make an appointment or if you have a questions. Called to speak to the person that called to confirm an appointment at the chapel trail office by the name Kim and they wouldn’t transfer me to her to ask questions. I was told she was very busy right now after waiting 10 min on hold and for Kim to relay a message. The call center reps have extremely heavy accents and all they do is waste your time repeating everything you tell them. Calls take at least 30 min. The lease they can do is get a call center in the US so we can properly communicate. Especially when you have concerns about your newborn as a first time mother.

Clean! Welcoming receptionists! Staff so patient! Covid precautions visibly in place! Dr. Salerno is the best! She has a calm demeanor, didn't rush our visit, took her time to answer all my questions and even explained health matters to our children ages 11, 13, & 14. Definitely recommend.

I love Dr. Salerno. She is so kind and gentle with the kiddos. Any concerns or questions I have are always answered and she is great about responding to inquiries via email/portal. The nursing staff is great too.

Dr. Williams is a gem. She is attentive and extremely kind. She is patient. I always ask a lot of questions and she never displays anything less of polite. I even brag to other people about how well she treats my kids. The girls at the front desk are very nice. Our tech we had this morning, didn’t catch her name. She had braids and a cute raspy voice she was also wonderful and quick with her hands. The lab tech with the beautiful long locks was also sweet and quick. She was also helpful and answered all my questions. I enjoy coming to this facility because of the professionalism and kind staff.

Wow! I am very shock to see a couple of 1 stars!! To be honest this PA location is clean, the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and nice. I absolutely love Dr. Jones. She has GREAT Bed side manners, she's transparent, compassionate, and gives great tips and advice for parenting😊

I love my child’s pediatrician, Dr. kiang but because It is such a large practice you never know who you will see as far as administrative staff. I had an emergency with my son which required a referral and even though I walked in so close to closing time, Tauresha was so patient and helpful in trying to assist me as I apparently did not have all of the information needed. Thank you so much for the awesome customer service and excellent energy!

It’s always something when I come here. There is not reason why we should be waiting 30 mins to an hour to be seen after being sent to a room. It’s ridiculous and I keep saying I will look for a independent pediatrician because this is annoying and unacceptable.

I rarely ever write reviews, but I feel the obligation to warn other parents. I will say I have had several positive experiences at Pediatric Associates, but my most recent experience is more than enough for me to never come back. My 6 year old has exhibited a cough for more than a month. Dr. Ahmed Elbedewy spent minutes evaluating my son. Did not show any concern. Also appeared annoyed when I asked questions. He prescribed a nebulizer. A prescription the office sent to the wrong pharmacy. After going to three pharmacies and calling the Pediatric Associates back, I was told it could take another day for the prescription to be sent to the right pharmacy. In the meantime, it was suggested I call around to find a place to fill the prescription. The doctor's visit was a waste of time and money.

I've been coming here as a patient since I was a baby. Now i'm taking my son since he was a baby and he's a teenager now. My family loves this location and we especially love Dr.Hila Gilberd! Everyone at this location is friendly and very helpful!

This place is amazing, always clean, everyone is kind and helpful. Doctor Marie Lamothe-Jones is simply the best doctor I could ask for, she was the very first doctor that saw my daughter when she was hours born, she treated her since then and she is almost 2 years now. She is the only doctor that really spends time with the patient, ask questions, listens, and is patient to answer all your questions. We love her, we used to live closer and we moved and I still driving there to see her. She is truly amazing.

I love this doctor office Shakira made me and my family feel welcomed. She was very helpful and made sure we was taken care of before she help another client and before we left the office. I was very pleased and the Doctor was also good.

I’ve gone pediatric associates ever since I was a kid. Now I’m bringing my son there and this location has been a great experience. The staff upfront, Dr. Eileen Kiang - have been great. Friendly, organized and we are seen at the time of our appointment. Dr. Eileen Kiang is very nice and has a great personality - she answers all our questions and puts us at ease. Thank you!

Unfortunately at this location, the experience is not always pleasant. You will find yourself waiting at minimum 20 to 30 minutes even after having a scheduled appointment. Once you're called to the back, there is still a slight additional wait. Once you are finally seen (after waiting at minimum 30 minutes in total), you cant help but to feel slightly rushed. For our last (2) visits they did not have the vaccines my child needed (even after calling the day before to confirm)! This is very frustrating as the office then expects that it's your job to follow up when they will have more of the vaccines in lieu of them following up with their patients to make sure they receive what they're pending. The front desk staff and check out staff is polite. Some of the MAs are quite rude. It would be nice if they were a little more pleasant, especially being that they were not forced to sign up for this line of work. The doctor's however are a pleasure at this location, but unfortunately, for your hour plus duration time at the doctor's office, you are only with the physicians for 10 to 15min. That leaves the remainder of the time being not such a pleasant experience. Overall, I recommend Pediatric Associates, but not particularly this location. I plan to try another branch in hopes their facility is ran much more effeciently.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Salerno since I was 16, and now she is my son’s pediatrician! Although sometimes the wait is long, it is always worth it for her. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for good care.

Valentina the PA was an amazing provider. She was caring, explained everything in detail and helped my kids feel comfortable. Highly recommend her as a provider

First time here with our 4 month old. We had Valentina. She was extremely through explaining everything and very friendly! Easily one of our best experiences with a pediatrician. Front desk was sweet as well!

The original person who booked my appointment told me that I was scheduling a comprehensive diagnostic exam for my daughter. When I get to the office, I waited FOREVER. Finally got called, just to get to the room and the doctor is thinking we are doing a 2 year old check up? That’s not what I was scheduled for. I took time out of work just for them to tell me they don’t do diagnostic exams. Complete waste of time. I blame their booking staff, but the wait times in general here is absolutely ridiculous. I waited over an hour for my toddler to be seen and I was there on time.

It was great. The staff were very helpful. I was late for my baby appointment and was still seen in a timely manner. Facility is clean, my daughter’s doctor is the absolute best.

Best pediatric clinic ever! Every time I take my child there I leave happy and knowing what to do if my kid is sick. Doctors, nurses and all the medical staff are very courteous and nice, they enjoy what they do and you can see it. I recommend the Pembroke Pines clinic to all my friends with Children.

I had an issue regarding a prescription being filled after an after hours appointment with my daughter on 8/20/2023. I called several times to explain the story over and over to no resolve. I called again the morning of 8/21 /2023 to have the issue looked into and spoke to 3 different people without it being resolved. I finally called back and reached Monica from the patient contact center and she took the time to listen and develop a plan to resolve the issue.Not only was she polite, understanding, and knowledgeable, but her thoroughness cannot go overlooked. This is by far the BEST customer service experience I’ve had in quite some time. She made me feel like my issue was her issue and successfully fixed it.I was so frustrated and intended to leave a review reflecting that frustration but due to Monica’s willingness to help she totally changed my experience and kept me as a continued patient at pediatric associates. Pediatric Associates Pembroke Pines is an amazing pediatric office for your children. My child sees Hila Gilberd and she has a special bond with every child she sees. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great place for your children to receive expert care

We usually go to the Weston office location. We’ve been to another one in Broward but this is the first time we go to this Pembroke Pines location. When we entered it looked busy and so I figured it was going to take a while. Last couple of times I’ve gone it’s taken around 2.5 to 3 hours for the full experience. I’ve got to say we went in and out in under an hour. I felt they were extremely organized and efficient at this Pembroke Pines location. Plus, the staff was the friendliest we’ve experienced. Great Pediatric location!

I don’t usually do reviews but Dr. Jones @ Pines Location is the Best! Since the first day we met her in the Hospital after our little one was born she has been so nice and kind. She never minds answering my questions and doesn’t rush through our appointments.

So far I have visited this office four times and every time we are quickly welcomed and accommodated into our room. We see Dr. Kiang for my daughters visits and she has been wonderful. Very gentle and patient with my wife and I as first time parents filled with plenty of questions and concerns. Dr. Kiang and staff are amazing. Highly recommend

The place is nice, but the experience overall was awful. My baby’s appointment was at 7:55am and she is sick, the nurse told us to take off baby cloths and wait, my baby was cranky and uncomfortable and we waited for one hour. Finally this pediatrician walked in, her name is Maria Serna, she was not very nice, she spent like 5 mins with us and left. And this happened In Pembroke Pines location. Pediatric Association’s the worst, phone is always down, no one ever answered or responded.

Took my Little 2 yr old since he’s been getting sick more like never getting out of it. And the pediatrician are useless, not personal & treat you like a number I’m tired of not being able to get a good one and have tried many of them in three of their branches but I’m giving up. Asked for an allergy test that was supposed to get 3 months back and the Doc said we don’t do that here…I’m like yes you do…I even had the order. She’s like “no, let me check…oh yes we do”. I’m like what? It’s ridiculous how bad the service is there I’m exhausted. I almost have to do the research and tell them what to do or check for. I’m sealing another pediatrician hopefully like those that actually care about kids and have the knowledge to treat.

It’s always a pleasure coming here.. We were greeted as soon as we came in. The pediatrician was very friendly and professional. Surprisingly we weren’t there long.usually there’s a bit of a wait even with an appointment but the great service makes it worth it.

I've seen maybe 4 different doctors at this location (kiang, Neil but I forget the other 2) but they have all been great with my girls and are very caring and knowledgeable. The office staff is very helpful. The only thing is it can sometimes be hard to get an in person appointment for a sick visit. Tele health is easy.

My son was sick, and we made an early appointment, 7:55am. We were tended to and in a room by 7:50am. They were quick, very thorough, and listened to all of our concerns. We always have a great experience at Pediatric Associates.

Left a urine sample at 11:45 in the morning for a possible UTI. We were told that the test would take 10-15 for results and the docotor will call you back with the results. I waitied until 3:30 to call back as the doctor never called. I was told she would call after 4 and if she didn't call today she would call first thing in the morning. Well she never called. It is 6:15 at night and still no call from the doctor. I had to go back on the app to get a doctor to read the urine result and prescribe and antibiotic for a UTI. Unbelievable that a practice would make a child suffer with a UTI all day.

I love pediatric associates at this location. The nurses are awesome, it’s always clean, there very organized and best of all I love my kids pediatrician Dr. Williams she is awesome at her job.

On 03/22/22 I had an appointment with my son to remove the 5 points he had. I arrived 30 minutes before and they made me wait outside, at the time of my appointment I went back in and they made me wait 20 more minutes outside to attend to me. Then they made me wait 40 minutes in the room while the doctor arrived, and since my son got nervous and it hurt him when they took the first 3 stitches, the doctor gave him 10 minutes to calm down, since he didn't calm down, she said that the other 2 take them off another day because she had to go. After all that I had to wait, they did not have the patience or ability to cry out to my son, they are supposed to be pediatricians who know how to deal with children and she wanted him to behave like a calm adult. The service was terrible and leaves a lot to be desired. Since the pandemic, the waiting time in the room is 50 to 70 minutes while the doctor arrives and as soon as you arrive they ask you to take off his clothes to weigh him and leave him like that until the doctor arrives and all that time without clothes. The nurses at the entrance are super unfriendly and give a bad treatment. The waiting times are too long and then the doctor does not have the ability to attend to the child

The medical center seems to be fine, but my displeasure with the visit was the doctor who treated me, although I chose her myself because she was Hispanic, I thought we would understand each other better but I was wrong, the care was of poor quality, she hardly even cared nor did he inquire enough about the patient, and even more so if it was the first time. He even made a comment to me about those of us who crossed the border that seemed totally out of place. I don't think I will return to the place.
