Let me preface this by saying I have been going there 8 years. OK I AM CURRENTLY IN HOUR 2 OF WAITING TO BE SEEN. You heard that correctly. This seems to be happening more and more. Now yes the doctors are good but your time will be half the day waiting for them. You will see the waiting rooms are full. If you don't mind your time being wasted then have fun. However...If value your time go somewhere else. As I write this I am looking for a new place for my kids.

The worst experience I have had at Pediatric Associates, with my son crying from discomfort, cough and fever and only two people at the front desk working, something as simple as a check in and only with one person in front it took 20 minutes to attend me, 20 MINUTES to just check in! So that later the woman who attended me would take 10 more minutes to enter my son in the system because she didn’t know what she was doing, honestly, what a bad service at this office, I do not recommend it at all!

I have been coming with my son to see Dr.Frontera for the last 10 years. My son is now 13 and we had an appointment at 9:45am. I do not mind the wait as I am aware that when I’m a doctors office there will always be a wait. The reason I am giving a 1 star is the lack of acknowledgment front he front desk. The line was to the door and the front desk person did not even notice the line due to speaking and giggling with what may have been a patient checking out but 16 minute check out! The line was to the door and the lady was truly unaware. Needs better training .

They make parents hold their babies and toddlers while standing for a slow check-in process. Line goes out the door. I already asked office manager to give numbers or have a quick sign-in sheet so parents can sit with their kids while they wait for check-in…take temps as people walk in if they’re worried. Nothing. Just line people out the door while carrying their kids. No attempt to accommodate their customers or little patients. Time to seek elsewhere for medical care.

My second time coming, and it was equally as bad as my last visit. Each time I had to wait to be seen over 1 hour and half after my original appointment. Extremely disorganized, they attempted to give my child immunization that already had stating it is over due. I had to show them a copy of my previous doctors records from the FL website showing my child was up to date to then wait 20 minutes for them to figure out what immunization were truly due. Luckily I was prepared because I work in the medical field, but that could have been a severe mistake. Upon arrival I was advised that I had a balance because they billed over $300 in medical codes that wasn’t truly preformed and isn’t even possible in the two minutes the doctor rushed to see me. I seriously don’t understand how they have a 4.6 rating.

The only good thing about this place is the fact that they're open all the time which makes it convenient for urgent situations. Dr. Villar has not been good to us and has consistently ignored my concerns regarding my daughter's feeding issues (which ended up being a severe case), and instead of looking for solutions with me she constantly dismissed me. I ended up doing all the research and going to multiple specialists despite her assuring me that everything was fine, in order to get the help we needed. She was always in a hurry and never took the time to listen to my concerns. I know that a lot of parents are happy with her but unfortunately this has not been my experience. Besides the fact that it took multiple attempts just to get her signature on a form to get my daughter the help she needed by an outside specialist (which is still ongoing after 2+ weeks and multiple phone calls), I am finally resigning from this practice altogether.

I used to love this location but not anymore. Two front office staff a gentleman who is very nice and a older lady who is very rude. Apparently out of 2 appts one appt was cancelled in error and the other one is still on and the front staff regardless of cancellations they ca not squeeze in my daughter. This locations service only gets worse everytime I come. Tried calling Diane Hernandez and she doesn't respond and also emailed customer service for assistance. Not even for a one time exception q.

I got recommended here by two friends; however, Jonathan did not provide what we expected to be a check-up for a 6 months old baby/new patient. There is no space for informed consent in this office. As parents we expressed not interest in vaccines at the moment and he spent 40 minutes trying to persuade us and told us if we did not change our minds we couldn’t receive services. After this conversation, we noticed that he rushed through the appt; which made us feel like if our opinion/questions as parents didn’t matter. He told us a rash our baby had was eczema; however, we went for a second opinion somewhere else and were told something different. We felt very disappointed.

The doctors here are amazing and I don't want to take that away from them. However, the service in this place has decreased dramatically over the last five years. I waited for two hours before my first meeting with the doctor. After running tests and labs, I was there for over three hours. This wasn't a busy day, it's just how this office has become. There is something very wrong with the way the doctors are being scheduled, creating an insanely long wait for people that arrive on time. The front office staff also looks incredibly overwhelmed and miserable. I don't understand who's managing this place and what they're thinking. It just feels like typical cutting cost and all service goes out the door. In addition, the people that have been outsourced to answer phone calls are also horrible and have no idea what they're talking about. So sad, that this used to be a nice place where I felt my kids health was actually valued. There must be a way to run a successful physician practice and not cut costs and do scheduling the way pediatric associates has. I used to come here whenever my kids were sick. Now I only come for annual visits and just go to urgent care when my kids need to see a doctor. Very sad, especially since the doctors are top notch and actually seem to care; it's clear management does not.

Terrible experience. My daughter had a rash and we waited over an hour in the waiting room. While she was screaming and crying. I wish I could give these people one star. They kept taking people that came after, I just don’t understand the level of NEGLECT.

This was our first time going to Prediatric Associates on Chapel Trail. I took my child there because our old PCP did not accept our insurance anymore. We went a few mins earlier than our scheduled time knowing that there may be some first time documents to complete; vand since there was no school, we figured it would be busy. When I went to check my child in, I was told that it was too early and that she would check us in closer to our scheduled time. At dome point, everyone who arrived about the same time we did was called to be seen but we were still in the waiting room. I checked with the front desk and I was told that we arrived too early. Mind you it was already 30 mins past our appointment time when I checked with the front desk. We were taken to the back an hour past our appointment time. The waiting was horrible!!! We were seen by the doctor 2 hrs from when we arrived. I would like to say though that Dr Villar is amazing! On her own, I would give her 5 stars. She really spent her time to get to know my child. She even apologized for the wait time. Hopefully next time would be a better experience for us.

The office is clean, the staff is always nice and Dr. M. Villar is the best! She's very prompt, professional and care for the we'll being of children! I've made the best decision when I brought my daughter here!

Dr. Ann Margaret Villar is the sweetest and most precise physician we’ve ever had. 5 pregnancies and she’s just as caring and attentive as she was when we met during my first birth. Her staff also makes each visit a pleasant experience. So patient and they all match her tone. Such a beautiful thing to see when a lovely doctor has a lovely staff that truly cares for each patient. Wonderful combo and the office is ALWAYS in tip top shape. Clean , smells good (same for the rest room) Never have to wait too long to be seen and if so it’s only due to an emergency and trust me , we could never be upset for such situations. We love you Dr. Villar and staff!!!!

I love visiting the Chapel Trail location. Dr. Villar is one of the most kindest and patient medical professionals I’ve ever encountered. My son is always comfortable around her and the visit is smooth and quick, while informative. The friendly staff is also accommodating. I highly recommend Pediatric Associates, especially this location!

It is a well-known fact that we absolutely LOVE our pediatrician Dr. Ann-Margaret Villar! I am sure there are very good, even great, other PA doctors, but Dr. Villar is such a friend to our family that she is really as family to us. We have been with her for just over 2 decades, actually, & we thank God for the day we found her. Just a lovely person, & splendid doctor! 💖

Doctor Stephanie Urban-Galvez is wonderful. We are happy that she is our son’s pediatrician!! All the assistant technicians/nurses are wonderful as well! They make us feel like family!

Dr Frontera was very friendly and kind with Lucas. She explained everything, she clarified all our questions with patitien and very clear. The facilities is super clean. The nurse was very friendly and kind with Lucas

This is in regards to the Chapel Trail office: Appointment times are NEVER honored. Wait time is always over an hour or more. These experiences are really making urgent care centers a better option!!!!

I live in Miami Lakes but I drive all the way to Chapel Trail office to see Dr. Rincon. She has been my son's pediatrician since 2014. The staff is very nice and the place is clean. Plenty of parking which is very convenient when you have a sick kid.

The staff is great, they are always sweet. The facility is very clean and Dr. Laura Frontera is the best, she is very attentive and her advice is always helpful. Thank you all at pediatric associates at chapel trail.

I Trust Dr. Rincon 100%. She is a caring and very knowledgeable doctor. I appreciate the lady’s at the front desk. The nurses are very pleasant. The place is very clean and minimal wait.

Every pediatrician I've seen here has been great! Very knowledgeable, diligent,attentive and took time to listen to all our concerns. Especially Dr.Rincon! I adore her and trust her advice alot! The nurses are amazing too! The girl who checked me in was a little unprofessional I could hear her discussing the mother's she didn't like in the waiting room. Which was really uncomfortable but the rest of the check-in team are really great!

Chapel Trail is an Amazing office. The office manager is very attentive and always making sure the flow of the office is moving as it should. She’s always present. The staff there is incredible; very informative and respectful. The Medical Assistants are very friendly always smiling. Very friendly and welcoming to my kids when bringing them to their appointments. LASTLY , to put the icing on the cake your appointment time is true to time; if not never have I once waited past 10 minutes. So i’ll definitely reccommend and refer people to this office :-)

Dr. Margaret is the best! She has been overseeing my Grandson’s care since he was born five months ago. She always greats us with a smile, takes the time to answer all of our questions and is very thorough when examining baby Michael. We are so lucky to have her. She has also been my goddaughters doctor who is now sixteen and never wants to stop seeing her. Thank you for such excellent service!

The staff at this location is simply amazing especially the manager Tenecia. She makes sure that whatever is needed to help with my kids gets done in a timely matter. Dr. Villar is definitely amazing! She also takes great care of my son and now my newborn daughter goes to her as well. If there is anything I need for my kids it’s never a second guess they make it happen. I highly recommend this office for the care of your children. Thanks for all you guys do at Chapel Trail!

Great patient care! Our doctor is awesome and has excellent bedside manner with the kids. Dr. Villar even made it a point to switch my daughter to her care during her sick visit today even though we were scheduled with another doc when she saw my kiddo on the schedule she moved her. It’s always nice to see your own kiddos doctor during a sick visit. Thanks so much!

I had my reservations about this place as I read some of the previous reviews, but I needed a last minute appointment for my daughter and had no choice but to take her there. I must say that we had a great experience overall. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff and Dr. Villar was very professional, friendly and very thorough with the examination. I will definitely keep bringing my kids here and encourage others to give it a try for yourself.

I really appreciate Pediatric Associates, and this location makes me appreciate you even more. I've been to 2 other locations and this is the Best. The Dr was excellent thank God for him. Came I'm on Monday, my 6 yr old son was sick got him on some medication, kept him from the hospital. Wished I remembered his name, thank you again My baby is getting better 🙏🏽. Did my follow-up today again they were prompt and as a working mom on a tight schedule and Staff friendly. Its a good distance for me but worth it. I give them an A+

This office really needs to do something with the check in process. So disorganized and it takes 15-20 min just to check in as the line is always so long. Once checked in, they’ll call your name and you end up sitting in the room for 45 minutes waiting for the doctor to come in. Our time is also very valuable. Do better! It’s very hard to wait this long with young children
