An enchanting park, resembling a miniature jungle, captivated me with its charm. It evoked a sense of being a princess, immersed in a magical forest, where extraordinary trees intertwine in a marvelous embrace 🌳🌴🍀💫 Amidst the branches, nestled within a webbed hammock, a colossal spider peacefully resides 🕸️🕷️ As I strolled through this picturesque setting, I encountered friendly squirrels that eagerly approached, their curiosity piqued by the raw nuts I carried 🐿️ The park offers abundant shaded seating with numerous tables and benches 👍☁️ However, I was taken aback by a sign that read, 'Use the trail at your own risk.' I wondered about its significance 🤔🫣

Some an awesome park! Very cool and creepy forest to go on walks and they have a horse stable with riding lessons! This a great place to have a picnic or take your family pictures. There are lots of picnic tables, grills and a couple of pavilions. It’s a very cool park, check it out 😊👍

I liked the most eastern part where it has a special round trail. On this rout you can grab a basket and collect harmful bulbs helping the local ecosystem and learning something interesting about the nature. The kid also liked to help the trees.

First time coming to this park. Decided to explore this area with my boyfriend. It’s a free animal park where you can interact with the animals. It’s very children friendly. It’s literally a beautiful place to reflect and get away from the material world. It humbled me coming here and walking through the park. It’s huge too with free parking first come first served. I took a lot of photos and videos. Highly recommend I also saw you can horse ride. It’s really an enchanted place.

I visited it before, but only when I came with my son did I discover a whole pet farm. Horses. Pennies. Rabbits. Chickens. It was awesome. And they have a garden. It has all these trails. And these hidden spots. I've picnic there before too. A tiny, real enchanted forest.

Small park, clean premises, great for sight seeing Florida local wildlife and taking a brisk walk through nature. They have a side with a kids playground and another side with horses, chickens, bunnies and goats. Plenty of seating and paved walkways. Free entrance and parking but can get crowded quick.

I feel this place is a hidden gem in north Miami. Once you enter it's so much bigger in size . From the simplicity of the trails. I really enjoyed the forest feel. You see local eating lunch at designated areas. You can watch the turtles and fishes swim in the lakes. In addition they offer horse riding onsite . You will get in touch with nature at this park. Just a lovely place in your backyard!

Could be cleaner and better maintained, but not bad. Decent nature trail for being in the city.

This is a great place to observe the homeless people attempt to survive outside of their natural habitat using only their wits and ways of the world to help this adaptation take form. I recommend bringing a cheap price dear pair of binoculars or if you fancy yourself one of the truly awesome people able to still live up to the true potential required for it then go full Telescope off the back of the truck and start taking notes. (others simply park in the first lot facing away from the train tracks and head in to view from the drivers seat with no obstructions) Almost immediately you're body should begin to react pleasantly to the magnificent beasts in all of their loud to the eyes splendid costumes in action co-starring with the benches each has illegally laid claim it on and usually will be busy consuming a never ending plate of "nothing past crazy" Air and into a soft continuous chuckle your own moment of life will include. I this is a taste of the world of entertainment a person can have and the best part of it all is the cost. FREE!

Cool little park in the middle of nowhere. If you blink you will miss it with so much to do. They have horses here and a petting zoo sign. I saw many horses here and a big closed in are where they keep them and ride them. There are 2 picnicking areas that i saw. One bigger then the other one. One is located by the front of tje park . The other one is more private it is by the back side. It is near a kids playground. The playground is closed. The park has really nice walking trails. They are a dream if you like nature and photography. The trees form this beautiful shady canopy. It is truly a nice park. I am so glad i found it. I saw two walking trails. One that leads across a bridge. The trees are different in that side and not so shady. That trail takes you in a complet circle. It is a shorter trail. You can see people's backyards too. I like the other longer one. The park looks clean. They have signs everywhere to wear your mask. I felt comfortable here.

The name says it all. It is like an enchanted forest in the middle of the city. And they have ponies AND a petting zoo. It is small, but so refreshing and clean. Highly recommended. The only caveat is that parking spaces are limited, but it is a great place to just unwind and maybe (just maybe) see the wee fairies... 😘

I've coming here for years and I have to say that this one of my favorite places in Miami. The whole park is peace and calm. I usually come here to for a morning jog, but the atmosphere is great. Lola Heasley is one of the people who works at this park. She's very friendly and fair to everyone who visits the park. And probably the most hardworking and does her best to keep the park clean, create a better environment for everyone who visits.

I adore this park! It’s a tiny clean little park in the middle of everything in north Miami. They keep up with social distancing rules and even have a community garden! The park ranger Lola is incredibly knowledgeable and happy to give tours. I cannot stress how awesome this hidden gem is

Some beautiful forested areas.available. A few mosquitos, so wear a long sleeve insect repellent shirt and long pants when in shady forested areas. Otherwise bring some Picaridin based lotion or spray on repellent. Lemon Eucalyptus repellent may work well too. Avoid DEET based repellents.

Nice quiet park on the weekends. There are horse riding that’s available with prior reservations. I didn’t have luck getting a response from them. Park is clean and tranquil on the weekends. There is a walking trail that forms a loop. You can help collect an invasive toxic specie by picking up water potatoes.

As a seasoned reviewer and frequent visitor to outdoor spaces, I must say Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park stands out as a gem in the urban landscape. This lush park is not just a playground for kids but a sanctuary for nature lovers. It offers a variety of experiences from large play areas that keep the children engaged, to serene nature walks adorned with butterflies that captivate any nature enthusiast. My personal experience, bolstered by my kids attending nature school and attending numerous children’s parties here, has been consistently delightful. The park, despite its proximity to a bustling street, transforms into a hidden oasis. It’s a place where the hurried pace of city life fades into the background, allowing you and your loved ones to be immersed in its tranquil beauty. The diligence of the staff in maintaining the park’s cleanliness and safety is commendable. Their hard work ensures the park remains a pristine environment for all visitors. The ambience here is akin to a jungle oasis - a place where you can pause, breathe, and appreciate the splendor of nature. While I can’t compare it directly to other parks, as each has its unique charm, Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park undoubtedly holds a special place for its ability to blend playfulness with natural serenity. I am hesitant to suggest improvements, as the park meets all expectations for a family-friendly, nature-centric escape. I do wish it would open earlier and stay open later, otherwise I have no feedback. Therefore, it earns a well-deserved five stars from me. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat within the city (it’s very close to Aventura Mall) or a fun, safe place for kids to play and learn about nature, this park is a must-visit. It’s a testament to how urban spaces can harmoniously coexist with natural beauty.

Turtles and iguanas! This is what we came for and not disappointed. The nature walk is a 10min slow stroll but such a peaceful environment! Great spot to go and meditate

I really love this gem and if it wasn’t for my sons nature school I would have never gone. So lush, beautiful walks and never crowded.

Nice place! It's so beautiful and there's a good amount of trail, plus the animals there are soooo cute. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because we tried using the alfalfa vending machine (for the horses) and sadly it just ate our cash and gave us nothing (there were items in the machine, though). But it was only 2 dollars, and it really isn't the end of the world. It's a beautiful park, and they've even spruced it up a bit since I've last been there! I highly recommend going here and RESPECTFULLY looking around (don't litter!). :^)

The trees here are magical looking. The walking trail was interesting. There is a creek going through the property with a white color to it full of turtles. Loved it here.

Very nice and peaceful park, I love the animals but what I don't like is this one guy who is always there and he's always loud on his phone

Fun little park. Haven't seen the turtles around for a very long time. There used to be a ton. Bridge is down. Wonder how long it has been down for. Has a cute little community garden that looks like it needs some help.

Adorable small park, right next to Arch Creek Park. There is a petting zoo located inside. You can see lots of marine life while walking across the bridge

Once of the best parks in the area - there are multiple walking trails that you can take (make sure you bring the bug spray!) and there are also horses that you can ride. I believe they have also introduced a petting zoo as well. This is a great place to see native Florida wildlife and plants. There is also a playground area in back of the park where you can also hold parties. Absolutely lovely place!

This place is great. My kids have came here for 4 years. Great playground for toddlers and for kids a little older. There are paths that are cemented and some that aren’t. I take them in their scooters around, viewing the park. Its so beautiful. When i have time alone, I come here myself by the pond. They have iguanas, ducks, turtles and fish (non confrontational). There is a path in which most people come to do small laps to workout. They also have a little garden and animals but you have to ask about. This place has it all. I do suggest bringing your own water instead of using the drinking fountains.

This is a drive thru city block of lights strung in people's yards with displays and a beautiful canopy of lights strung in the trees over the street. You can give a donation if you like that goes to multiple charities. There is no cost to drive the block or walk the block to look at the lights.
