I have been a student at Keiser University for almost two years. I am attending the online program and have found it to be a well established curriculum. I enjoy the structure of it that allows me to continue to work my full time day job, and have the flexibility of attending school online with monthly classes. I was accepted into several universities before deciding Keiser, and I chose it because their structure is perfect for working adults. I was reading some of the online reviews and must comment that 1. many of the professors have the proper credentials 2. the school is accredited (do your research!) 3. Yes, this university is more expensive because it is private. I think many people expect community college or public in-state tuition when looking at Keiser. Private universities are always more expensive, but you also have to look at where they are investing that funding: in students by providing various degree and curriculum programs that work with adult schedules and the appropriate technology. I have been able to find scholarships to help me pay for school, and am lucky in that regard, but also see whatever I am paying as an investment in myself and my education. This degree will allow me to pursue a career that I desire and is difficult to get into without proper credentials. I am thankful that Keiser is providing me with the education that fits my needs in order to take the next step in my career.

Don't ever come to this institution! The worst decision I have ever made in the whole entire life! These people are scammers and LIARS. They told me over the classes that a medical assistant with an Associates was going to be almost considered as an LPN hahahaha! what a JOKE! Today I am considered as a regular MA. Besides, I asked them several times to them back in 2019 how much was the tuition for this career and they were never straight up with me, they only cared for me to signed everything. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! a 100000 x HORRIBLE! This institution does not even deserve a Star At ALL! 30K just for an AS in Medical Assistant... what a JOKE!

This school is a scam. The administration is made up of people who are only interested in signing up new students, not retaining them. I’m leaving after having taken , and passing, two classes. The teaching is sub-par, but extremely expensive. The recruiter told me to go ahead and send my transcripts from Harvard and Sarah Lawrence College so that I could transfer credits. Two classes into the semester at Keiser, I realized I was scheduled to take English Composition 1, which is actually an Advanced Placement class I took my SENIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL at Pine Crest school. The assistant dean was at first unwilling tell me which credits were going to be accepted from Sarah Lawrence College, Harvard University, and my high school. I had to ask over several email exchanges why I was being scheduled for English composition 1, when I had already taken English Composition 2 at Sarah Lawrence College, not to mention the AP course in high school. I got several different answers and was told to talk to several different deans and then to talk to the registrar. Laughingly, the registrar told me that I still needed to send an official transcript from Sarah Lawrence; This is one of the first things I did when I applied to Keiser after sitting down with the recruiter. They lost my official transcript, in the first week of my admission. If this doesn’t prove this school ONLY cares about my money , I don’t know what else does. Now, I’m responsible for paying 100% of the rest of the $10000, because I completed 4 weeks of the 1st class of the semester, “because of Keiser tuition policy”. You read that correctly. I had no idea at all and neither did my husband during my orientation when we were info-bombed on a Saturday two days before my first psychology class. This has been such an awful experience—I’m heading straight to Purdue Global.

I am going after my PhD in Global Business. I find the classes challenging and rewarding. Small classes allow for fun in learning and professors who really work with you. This is not easy but, in the end worth more than just a diploma. I feel blessed with this as part of my journey.

The program would have been better on campus; full-time and two days of lab practical isn't enough for someone to understand the material. The instructors are focused on students cheating than actually being passionate about teaching. The discrimination and favoritism are real at Keiser university's MLT program. I was written up for asking to view my grade and for asking to get extra assignments to help boost my grade, BUT THEY GAVE OTHER STUDENTS THAT FAIL The FINALS A SECOND CHANCE TO RETAKE FINAL EXAMS FOR BLOOD BANK TWO. I’m dropping out of the program because the MLT program director doesn’t think I’m brilliant enough to use proper grammar in my research paper. I felt harassed by the program director, and she insulted my intelligence when she said, “ you, don’t speak how you write.” this comment was personal I believe it’s because I'm Haitian, and since I’m not smart enough to be in the program, I am dropping out. I will go to a school where teachers teach because they love it but not for payment or to be bullies to students they don’t like or understand. I’ve bought my complaints and concerns to the dean's attention, and no action was taken. I would not recommend this school to anyone. If you’re serious about getting a career, make sure the program is entirely on campus to keep those professors busy. I’m sure they’ll stop giving unnecessary work that they will not grade on time or even count as a grade. THIS SCHOOL IS A JOKE! They're SO QUICK TO ENROLL YOU AND TAKE YOUR MONEY! BUT WHEN YOU HAVE CONCERNS, THEY IGNORE IT AND LOOK AT YoU CRAZY, AND I AM STILL UNABLE TO CONTACT THE PRESIDENT OF THIS SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY FAIL TO PROVIDE THAT INFORMATION TO ME WHEN I ASKED. I spoke to Luka, and her boss, and two other deans at this school. I sent out multiple emails about my concerns. All of these deans and teachers must be friends because NOOOOOOOOO ONE CARED TO HEAR ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! Ms. Wheeler and MS Castillo are unprofessional. They talk about other students in front of other students. They probably talk about other students on their way to Dollar Tree too. I'm distraught of how I wasted my time at Keiser University. ( Update )April 13th 2021. I dropped out of the program for discrimination and I still wasn't able to get any help with my situation. FYI these teachers will fail you for any reason. For instance, ask too many questions “fail” have concerns “fail” they don't like you “fail” kesier should stop this program until they establish a better teaching environment for all students with professionals, NOT BULLIES.

I would describe Keiser University as the best environment for learning. It offers one of the best faculty members in the country. All professors are excellent academics, but most importantly, they are really committed to teach, and they do care a lot about students. Keiser University has taught me and given me the tools to succeed as a professional. Also, I have had the opportunity of meeting very nice and friendly people. I feel proud to be a KU boy!!!

Veterans beware, they are after your GI Bill and not in it for your education. I transferred from a university in NC with nearly 100 credit hours and was told they would be counted towards my degree. Well they got me in the door then changed their tune. They accepted 18 credits and had me retaking all core classes again. They will call you right away after you inquire about their school and are more than happy to get you set up and billed right away. Once your GI Bill benefits have been submitted they become very unresponsive and could care less about you. When speaking with deans to get questions answered they would give very vague responses when they would actually even respond. BEWARE of their scam.

I am going to be real with you. Keiser University is a different experience then the traditional college one. You wont find "partying" sorority or fraternity here. Not all colleges are a good fit for the individual. One has to do research in order to succeed in life. I enjoyed my time at Keiser University. It is a private school so the tuition is higher then a normal college but every penny is worth it. The courses are made to be taken 1 month at a time and for that whole month. The classes are fast pace but you can learn so much if you put your time and effort into it. The credits are transferable but you have to remember not all schools have the same classes you took. The Deans and Student services are great and willing to help you during and after graduation. Now remember when reading other comments every college/university is going to have a bad teacher/problem/financial aid. It is inevitable. Keiser was the perfect fit for me. I graduated with Honors Cum Laude with my Bachelors in Forensic Investigations and before I graduated in March I landed a Job with a police department as a Crime Scene Technician.

I have been attending Keiser University since January 2014 and now I am in their nursing program. The teacher's are great! I have no complains. The small class sizes really help because you feel like there is individualized teaching. The teachers are there to help you when you need it! Most importantly the teacher's are experienced in their field.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE BOOKSTORE! I love the classes and Professors, hence the one star but support from the bookstore is way, way way, below par. As a student there, I love the University, the business program and all my Professors, yet I purchased a few books, with COUNTLESS concerns that I documented with the University staff and college professors, without resolution. The latest is a rental that I purchased on line, fulfilled by the Jacksonville bookstore team and sent to the Fort Lauderdale location for pick up, since the closest location to me (Palm Beach Flagship) location has a manager that shady is the best way I can describe it. So back in MAY, I checked with the bookstore by calling on the 11th when the order was ready and was told that it is open on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. I even checked on Google to get the directions and verified the hours again. Stopped at the campus around 12:30 PM on Saturday, after driving from Delray Beach (about 40 minutes), and was also told by the front desk that they are open until 3 PM, but then went to the door upstairs only to find a locked door. I then checked with the library person that verified that the door was closed. When I went downstairs, I was given the excuse of "They were open only during the first week of the summer semester, and that was last Saturday." When I asked if they were aware that the semester started AFTER SATURDAY on 05/08/2023, the Monday after the weekend they mentioned, oh no that is not how we have it on our calendar....I felt I was treated like an idiot because the from desk personnel argued my position. Just llok at the schedule posted AT THEIR DOOR! Now, June 22nd, the rental is returned because since I never picked it up and had to buy from another vendor. I contacted the company that runs the bookstore, Follett, responsible for the return. As expected, they mentioned it will be refunded, yet the Keiser bookstore customer service has not refunded any funds and they keep closing the tickets sent from Follett, and cc me on double emails to confuse me or forget the concern. I did mention that I will review publicly their treatment, but it seems they LOVE upsetting people that are professionals and do not just throw money at them. At this point, a BBB complaint is going to be sent for them and let's see how they support students (that have 3.91 GPA by the way, in Presidents List of KEISER.) This was a simple cautionary tale for all you future students out there. Remember, WE pay for our education and pretty hefty if you consider the college loans, THEY nickel and dime for a return of an item never even picked up or used? For shame....

Keiser University was a great life changing experience for me. From the moment I began in May 05, 2014 all the way till the day I graduated March 30,2015 my knowledge only increased not only did I have a great professor in the Department of Medical Assistant. The counselors and the Financial aid department are very helpful, you will always leave with all of you're questions answered. The Student Services Department was beyond great very helpful and understanding staff. I was the Vice President of Communication for PTK. From my own personal experience keep you're GPA up and good things will come your way because Keiser University is full of opportunities and they will never close their doors on you!

In the MLT program at this school, I met a woman working there named Ms. Wheeler; she harassed me with so many write-ups at this school. As a student with a learning disability, there were so many things I was struggling with .I was emotionally damaged and drained trying to get someone to understand me . The dean of students laughed in my face when I came to her office to ask for her help . & after my interactions with the dean I kept getting bullied and picked on by this lady .I had to switch schools to start over again . I’m so grateful to find Miami Dade medical college. Miami Dade medical school has been amazing to me . They care about the students all the professor there are so helpful and respectful to students . Miami Dade medical college does not set thier students up for failure they are very professional.

I don’t know what is going on with these lower rates businesses, but someone should be doing something about it. My wife and I finished our associate degree almost a year ago and we haven’t received the transcripts. I hope to get an answer after this one-star review…

This review is for the Lakeland campus. Great School, great staff, extremely helpful especially with military enrollment is simple and straightforward the school is willing to work with you on almost any situation you have going on their online programs are exceptional some of their online faculty is questionable but it's rare their IT programs are not really difficult, Their Radiographic technologist courses are extremely challenging and Lakeland campus graduates seem to get job preferences over other campuses. Professional and academic standards are much higher. I would recommend this University over a lot of them. I would not advise going here full time and working. There is way too much homework for most of their allied health courses. If you have difficulty in understanding much of their staff will stay late and tutor. They want you to know the Why behind what they teach. I just want to add that for their (medical) programs YOU Will need to be cleared by your doctor in order to start your clinical rotations. So if you have any issues I would advise you to take a different set of courses.

Dreadful! All they want is your money - and they will ask for it late so you have no option but to pay the price increases. So pleased my son is now at a great uni after transferring this year.

I had just inquired about enrolling in the online Medical Assisting program here. Very unprofessional admissions counselor ! She came off as very entitled and condescending when she spoke. If you’re looking for an online medical assisting program I would advise looking else where!

Good place to learn and get a degree, but they are a bit pricey, but you gain the knowledge. The only thing that has changed is the students, some faculty, but not a lot.

Any school that thinks having their students play dress-up will prepare them for success can't possibly be doing real science. Hard... Pass...
