Island Space Museum is a Caribbean Heritage Museum located in Broward Mall with the nearest entrance near Avis or Dillard's. They have many great programs, plus new displays. This past weekend, I saw the Bahamian 50th exhibit, and on another visit, I saw another exhibit that contained artwork from Jamaican actor Paul Campbell. Great place to learn and/or appreciate Caribbean heritage!

I attended a training course and they took us here for a field trip. I'm truly happy I attended. I didn't know that inside Broward Mall, there is a Caribbean Culture museum. I am happy there is this new addition to the mall. It's the only one of its kind. According to the tour guide, it's the only Caribbean museum in the United States, which is cool. The staff & volunteers are very friendly and professional. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and the artist that helped us with our project is very skilled. We had such a great experience. It's a medium-sized location, and I pray that one day, they can have a bigger location to keep displaying all of the Caribbean islands' history and artifacts. There is so much history that must be preserved and teach, especially what is going on in Florida, with trying to teach fake history. I learned so much and I'm happy there are beautiful places like this location. You can bring children here too, and they cool stuff with them. I will be coming back again!

Island SPACE Caribbean Museum is an archive, exhibit and event space in Plantation, Florida. It features a collection of artifacts, iconic paraphernalia, cultural relics and historical data. This Caribbean museum also displays fine art that represents South Florida’s Caribbean communities. In this unique museum, guests learn the history, heritage and culture of the Caribbean people and the impact of the Caribbean Diaspora on the American landscape. I like this educational Caribbean Museum, however I gave it 4 stars because it is very small. You can check out everything in probably just 20 minutes. Admission fee is 10 dollars for adults and 5 dollars for children.

This was such an AMAZING museum to go to with my family. Being American Jamaican, it was an eye opening experience to listen to the history. Our tour guide was informative, engaging and easy to talk with. My children were so happy to hear about their history. I would recommend this as a school trip or even a family outing.

This is such an amazing experience! Very well designed and an excellent tour by Keith. My 12 yo was also very attentive as he learned a lot about his Caribbean roots and history. I hope that the various Caribbean consulates contribute to the promotion of the museum.

We were lucky enough to have gotten there when it wasn't so busy. Got a private tour of the place by the Program Director, Mr Shaw. He was awesome. He's just a wealth of knowledge and was so friendly. We enjoyed our time there for sure. We learned a lot and because we are Caribbean, we were also able to have great discussions with the Program Director. Definitely a Hidden Gem in Broward County.

I visited Island Space museum with my Aunt today. We had an amazing experience walking through the museum and remembering and experiencing the historical culture of the Caribbean! Keith was our friendly, knowledgeable and excellent guide. He told us about upcoming events and we are so excited about coming back. We plan to spread the word about this great museum to our family and friends! Great location at the Broward mall! A great place for the whole family to visit!

This is a charming place to visit to learn and see interesting Caribbean history. The young man that gave the tour is very knowledgeable and full of interesting facts. My son and I had a wonderful time. Well worth the price. Best of all I learned new things.

As you step through the doors of the museum you’re transported to a place where all Caribbean cultures and heritages are celebrated. Recognition of our forerunners, and present Caribbean leaders and influencers are highlighted. The museum is a place where inspiration grows and is ideal for school trips, summer class trips , families and anyone of and even not of Caribbean descent can come learn and grow in understanding of people, events and cultures that paved the way for where we are now and where we are going. Thank you to the founders of this SPACE! ISLAND SPACE MUSEUM!!! Well done. I will be back with my family and friends.

Our family enjoyed the experience and the journey through memory lane. Our kids were taught some valuable lessons and got introduced to artifacts that told the story of our heritage both Haitian and Jamaican. I would recommend every family from the Caribbean to take their US born children here for the experience
