Restaurant Cafe Salvadoran restaurant Honduran restaurant

👍👍 These are the best papusas this side of El Salvador itself. Served with a smile and Central American hospitality. Makes me feel good. Love this place. People often mention good, order, service, menu, pupusas,

I come to this place every time I visit my parents. This time the steak was too seasoned and a bit salty. But overall its not that bad.

We are visiting Florida, and we went to “El tipo Guanaco” We order 2 breakfast plates with horchata and a soda, $37 total. Sweet plantains we’re old and the fried tamale was sweet and not good, soda was expired from 2021. We ended up leaving to eat somewhere else and left our food as it shows in the photo. You want real homemade Salvadorian go to to “La casita Salvadoreña” that’s real food and it’s delicious!

We’ve live close to here and have been eating here for years. Pupusas are great, soups are good! Server lacks customer service skill, these latinas got some attitude.

Meh. Didn't really think the food was good. Maduros were slightly burnt. The Salvadorian Steak was on the lunch menu but they said it would be at the Dinner price at $6 more, $16.99.. kinda sneaky. Also they include a CC Fee on the Bill. I'd skip it and eat somewhere else

I honestly love this place, it's simple and the food taste good and at a reasonable price. I love their baleada mostly, sometimes their steak can be a little overdone but overall the seasoning and flavor is spot on.

Good breakfast spot for Latin tastes. Floor was slippery but food made up for it. Service was good. Had steak, fried eggs, plantains, cheese, cream and refried beans with tortillas. Worth it and prices were very reasonable.

Ordered baleadas the tortilla was not fresh but overall was OK. My bf ordered the breakfast special the waiter did not bring tortilla or avocado(which is included in the special) Never brought the lemon for his water and gave him plastic utensils when everyone else had silverware. She was more concerned about people who came after us.He asked for the check and she never gave it to us. Overall the food was okay but the service really sucked.

Pupusas were wonderfully tasty. Food prices are reasonable. Customer service needs improvement, I had to bother another waitress for a drink since my waitress went missing in action, not really, she was busy chatting with another waitress. Original waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be at work. Asked me what I wanted to drink, I said let me see the menu first and immediately Asked what I wanted to order … hello, don’t rush me😂 and she did it again. Not a big deal but it is annoying, especially when there were 3 occupied tables with customers and not that busy; please, don’t rush people. I ate 2 pupusas, 1 beer, and a coke. I cancelled the yucca frita, thanked second waitress ( the friendly one), asked for my check, left her a tip, and I might come back. Don’t like to be rushed, especially when I haven’t looked at the menu yet. Overall, pupusas were great ( please work on the curtido, tasted like Indian curry), place is decent, prices are good, and beer was cold❤️.

The onions and cabbage were bad came with my order of pupusas it smelled the onions were definitely rotten this must have been sitting for too long way too long. In the pickle jars that they keep them in. I got sick after eating them and realize somethings wrong with the taste and was on the thrown all night long oil that they cook with smelled old my steak was fried and I can smell old oil. Very disappointing. On $88 bill.

Stopped in blindly for a quick meal while attending a local basketball tourney. Wow, super good food and great service. We had a few pupusas, tamale and baleada… outstanding. As was the house hot sauce. Saw some soups being served and they looked amazing.

Food is good but this place is so stingy. They only give you one napkin per person instead of providing napkins at the table. When you are done eating be they take a while to bring the tab. If it’s multiple people at the table with leftovers and you ask for boxes they’ll only give you one box. We asked twice if we could get more boxes and they never showed up with it so we just ended up leaving.

Wow! I have not been home in over 2 years and I can say.. I can close my eyes and the flavor I tasted just now made me feel just like home... Everything I ordered was delivered just as I requested. They adapted to the alterations I asked and made them amazing!

About one of the best places to eat around. Not only are the waitresses really nice they are very helpful when choosing, apart from that there is really nice dec. around including 4 TV to keep you entertained, a jukebox in case you need a jam and a radio with hispanic music playing at all times. The food is amazing,it makes you crave more and more.Tge food in this establishment is in a moderate budget,it is decent as one meal being up to $7 and being one of the best meals of the year.
