Upon checking the girl at the front desk was polite gave me the information to my room which was room 109. Went into the room unpacked ourselves got ready for bed. We were in the room approximately an hour and a half and then we started to see roaches I checked out of the hotel about 11:30 PM and found another hotel to stay in. It’s one week later I still have not received a receipt stating that I had checked out and my credit card still hasn’t had the reversal done. I was told it would be 4 to 5 business days. When I checked out there was a second girl at the front desk who is very rude obnoxious terrible attitude. I have been using best westerns for years. I would not recommend this place.

    1. It is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed it. All night long highway noise, motorcycles, etc. 2. Dirty bathroom, mildew, shower head falling down. You have to hold it to wash. 3. I was quoted one price by reservations with military but email showed differently. 4. Walls are patched, paint not finished. Woodwork is fingerprinted on doors. Dirty walls. 5. No washclothes, no comforters or bedspreads. 2 towels for 3 people. No wash clothes or hand towels available. No housekeepers spoke English. A guest had to translate and no clean towels available. Thank God only one night but $300 is rediculous. New maintenance man came in room as we were checking out with housekeeping manager to see issues. Thank you

This is a HORRID hotel. Do NOT stay here unless you want to be sleeping in a bug infested, dirty, disgusting place for the night. I checked in and the first room they tried to put me in was infested with spiders - all over the bed, all over the bathroom, in the showers too! Didn't get a chance to check for bed bugs but I wouldn't doubt if they were there. I changed rooms and the second room they put me in had no spiders (thankfully) but there was urine all over bathroom upon me entering (as well as an unfounded toilet) and visibly used wet towels sitting in a pile in the shower. Besides this, the wifi didn't work at all and I didn't have any internet connection. The cable also didn't work and the tv was useless throughout my stay. I thoroughly regret booking this hotel and if you're smart, you'd pass on this one.

Despite reading the bad reviews, I decided to give this hotel a try since it’s my first time. I must say that my stay was great. Our room was beautiful. The shower is really nice especially the body wash, shampoo n conditioner which was placed in bottles for a hot shower. The breakfast area is nice and the hotel was clean. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. I do want to try other Blue Western. Great job to the front desk and housekeeping.

My experience was so horrible that I cut my stay short. I forgot to take photos, but the rooms were filthy. The floor and the counters were noticeable dirty. There were sticky fingerprints on our door. Worse: the service was horrible. The staff also seem to be racist towards black families. There was a woman monitoring us while we took food from the breakfast buffet, my 8 year old son went back to a mini muffin and orange which she had just put out and she confronted me and said that each person could “only get one breakfast.” So I asked her why it was a problem for him to get an orange and muffin, and she apologized and blamed it on management, claimed they were watching. Yet, when we got the elevator to go down for breakfast, there was a non-Black person with three plates stacked on top of each other with food pouring out. She couldn’t even hold it properly. Again, my son is 8. I’m disgusted. I’ve been to other hotel chains, mostly with more stars and I’ve never been monitored in this way. There was no fridge in the room, and the elevator doesn’t work properly

This is an accumulation of my three separate stays at this property. The king room is very nice. I really enjoy the walk-in shower with the overhead shower head. The room is comfortable and spacious. The room looked clean. The property is close to restaurants and the highway. The service declined by my third stay. I'm not even interested in returning to this property because of the lackluster service provided. We'll see.

I checked in last night and it feels like someone rushed in to clean this room but they did not reach the mark. The floor is dirty. There is no trash can in the room. The toilet sounds like it keeps running and you can hear the traffic from outside so it's hard to rest. This morning there was a roach crawling in the bathroom. I expected more but I guess it is what it is.

I loved the shower and the fact that they provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash; it's my first time and I was amazed at the order of the room and the cleanliness is fantastic; I loved the location! I loved that there were no rugs! Surprised I had breakfast! I liked the flat screen TV on the wall. - The hotel's policy was that they would not clean the room until AFTER a 3 night stay; for recommendations and to improve please change the clothes dryer from the laundry I was there for 3hrs to dry my clothes and it was not like that it was wet For now, excluding this minor problem, I give it 100% and I would totally recommend it.

Good option to stay, we stayed 3 nights. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is quite complete. The strategic location is close to the airport and has transportation service. At the time of check-in we had a problem but the excellent Manager Daniel quickly solved everything for us. We will be back

Excellent treatment at the Front desk. Really, my thanks when entering to Daniel. Very good room, very good breakfast. It has a large swimming pool. It's pretty quiet.

This is a really lovely hotel, with a delicious buffet breakfast, beautifully maintained gardens and really nice staff and friendly reception staff. The pool is very well maintained and the gym is an added bonus. My family definitely recommends it. The manager Paola is a very kind person.

If you don’t read any other review. READ THIS! Elevators don’t work properly… waited 5 minutes for it to arrive on my floor. Front desk has a nasty attitude. The lady that checked us in was pleasant, but upon check out, I had a bad experience. Do not rely on their shuttle. AGAIN, do not rely on their shuttle. They will tell you it’s a third party and they can’t control when it comes, despite scheduling a pick up the night before. Waited 25 minutes and ended up taking an uber to the airport so I wouldn’t miss my flight. The rooms are ok. I tried so hard to like this hotel, because I see what they’re trying to do. The lamps in my room had major rust. Nice shower, decent bed. Ultimately I won’t be returning because of the shuttle issue, and the attitude of the front desk personnel when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the shuttle service. Yes, it’s a third party, but they are representing you, so take some responsibility. Do not advertise what you cannot offer.

Everything was amazing! I am pleasantly surprised by the good price vs benefit. Close to the port for cruises and the airport, delicious buffet breakfast, very attentive cleaning staff, I remember the manager Daniel's excellent attention. Rooms with a good smell and atmosphere, clean and comfortable beds. We will definitely return 10/10.

I was in room 204. First day was fine but the following day there were roaches. Not just one, but several all over areas of the room. Tiny ones, small, and large. They were appearing as if the room next to me fumigated. I slept in the my rental car And then moved to another hotel. All of the towels were stained badly as well. I couldn't tell if they were clean or not I used a hand towel to dry myself. The elevator was off one morning and the front desk rep said "i guess they turned it off" and continued looking at her phone. I carried 2 pieces of luggage up the stairs. I will not be returning or recommending this hotel.

Not quite even okay. It was nice to have a shuttle from the airport, even though we waited over 30 minutes for it. There is a shuttle to the cruise port for $15 pp. The room was kinda gross. I don’t see an option to share the pictures I took. There was hair in the shower from previous guests. The lampshades were dusty and rusty. The plug next to the bed had an unhealthy coating of grime on it. Coffee grounds from previous guests were left in the maker. The safe doesn’t work. The microwave is gross. The pillows, well, extremely thin. The elevator was a joke. When it did work, it was jerky, it missed floors and took forever. The heat/ac unit in our room was either hot or cold. Could not adjust temperature. The shower door preferred to stay open and the floor of the shower is dangerously slippery. The hotel is very close to Rte 95 the the traffic noise was not conducive to quiet sleep. This hotel and others were booked solid so we were kind of stuck. This isn’t a great neighborhood. Not the worst, but not great. Spend the extra $50 on a Marriott or Hyatt property. You’re worth it!!!

You Get What You Pay For: there’s a reason this hotel is less than others in the area - don’t be tempted by the price like I was - it’s not worth it! When I arrived in my room, it smelled very musty. I went downstairs and asked to be moved. The clerk was fine with moving me, but when she spoke to the manager, Paolo Bello, he told her not to move me. She came out to say she wouldn’t move me until the next day because they were full. A couple of hours later, I heard the same clerk offering a man a room for the night. I went up and asked why I was not moved when the hotel was not, in fact, full. She then said that the manager wouldn’t move me because I had used the bathroom, and housekeeping was gone, so if he moved me, he would not be able to book my initial room. I called Best Western customer service to complain - Ticket #cr611322 - but still was not moved. I was not called until 4:00 the following day, and by that time, decided it was not worth moving because all of the common areas in the hotel also smell mildewing and molding. The lobby is pumped with an overpowering air freshener in a failed attempt to hide the odor. The one barely functioning elevator also smells, and is so slow and out of date that I took the stairs most of the time, where I found a homeless person hiding. On Saturday I specifically went to the front desk and asked for the room to be made up and also put the sign on the door. Housekeeping merely left some clean towels on top of the toilet lid. The beds were not done and the room was not clean. This is the most disgusting and disappointing hotel stay I’ve ever had, and I travel for work monthly. I just joined Best Western’s rewards program; however, I will go back to the other two reliable chains I have had success with, and would not recommend this hotel or Best Western.

Comfortable and quiet stay, but had issues with the elevator upon arrival ... Husband got stuck inside, and staff had to help get him out. Elevator and hallways also had a weird smell. Hotel offers complimentary breakfast, starting at 6:30 AM. However, our flight left early, and we didn't get breakfast. No Grab & Go items available. Denny's and McDonald's within walking distance of hotel.

So our stay here was less than ideal. They have 2 elevators, only 1 was working and something was wrong with it as it would stop at random floors and also sit with the doors open for 2 to 3 min when it did stop. By the end of they day that elevator also stopped working which means we had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to our room after going to the lobby for ice etc. Our room was supposed to have a mini fridge, it did not, so the sodas we purchased had to go on ice in the sink to stay cold, which means we lost use of our only sink. The bed should have had some form of blanket on it, it only had 2 top sheets layered together. No joke, there was no blanket at all between them like you typically see. I requested a blanket when I realized it, this was around 5pm. At 8:30 my husband went back to the lobby to check on a blanket and he was informed that they had already given them all out, as many of their guests had requested blankets. I would guess that meant none of the rooms had blankets but we had friends staying in the same hotel and they had blankets between their sheets. Roaches crawled out of our electrical outlets and light switches! When we would turn on/off a light switch or plug something in, a roach would shoot off down the wall. That was the icing on the cake. I will never stay at this hotel again and I encourage you to avoid it as well.

The place is filthy . Everything sticky, smells disgusting. Tv only had static. Tons of Inaccurate information from the unpleasant concierge. The hotel was out of bottled water . No toothpaste. No fridge . Shower was configured in such a way that I had to stand inside the show while attempting to adjust water with confusing controls and got hit with ice cold water from a hidden ceiling shower head. Took eggs in the morning from a steaming hot tray but somehow mine was a frozen solid . Literally a block of ice. No blankets !!! Just an empty duvet cover. The elevator buttons didn’t light up. This hotel is a piece of trash and need a government inspection

Booked through Priceline, where this hotel had a 7/10 at the time. We almost didn’t show up after my husband saw all of the recent terrible reviews on google, but we had already paid, so we decided to give it a try. I am glad we did. Reception was friendly, the bed was extremely comfortable, and a good breakfast was included. Yes, the hotel smells a bit like mold, but that’s true of most places at this price point in South Florida. There were a couple of hairs in the sink and shower, but overall the room was very clean. We did NOT see any roaches. Considering we would have paid 50-100% more to stay at other hotels nearby, I feel like we got good value for our money. If you just need a place to crash between flights out of FTL, this place is perfectly adequate.

This is a terrible hotel to stay at! They will break into your car, take all your valuable stuff, people hanging outside might try you, front desk people are very rude, I was on a business trip, I checked in at this hotel at 11pm by the time for me to get back to my car at 7am my car was already broken into, they 3 of my car windows, the stole everything that was in my car, the manager act it's was nothing happened and she also look suspicious on that incident, she doesn't offer to check the camera to have an idea how that happened cause my car was in front 2 camera and a pole lights. My best advice to everyone is DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL FOR AND REASON I don't want what happened to me happened to nobody. Please be careful

DO NOT STAY AT THIS TRASHY HOTEL !!!! I stayed for one night on the 1st of October and, the experience was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. After we checked in to our room the internet and cable went down for the entire hotel ! even their phones went down. The faucet for the sink in our room was completely broken ! I went downstairs that same night to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager available and, to try again at check out the following morning. I went and asked to speak with a manager again the following morning at check out and was told that the manager wouldn't be in for a couple of hours and, was given an email. I still haven't received a refund or response back from said (Yarns or Paola) manager(s) because I keep getting told they're not in or, I'm given fake times at which to call back to speak to one. I'm highly upset and so are a lot of other people who stayed in the property last night as well because the line for refunds at the front desk this morning was long! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY IT'S NOT WELL MAINTAINED, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR GUEST'S EXPERIENCE AND, THE UTILITY BILLS ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT BEING PAID IN A TIMELY MANNER!! Book at the other hotels in the area not this one! if I could rate them ZERO STARS I WOULD HAVE!

  • 4/5 Jordyn M. 1 year ago on Google
Room was clean and comfortable. Minus one star for poor laundry unit (be aware the coin laundry requires multiple cycles to adequately clean and dry small load of laundry. Also no coin machine- front desk may or may not help depending on who is working.) minus one star for elevator situation. (One elevator goes to 7th floor and one only goes to 6th. But they use the same button so it’s impossible to get to the 7th floor elevator unless occupied) the elevator had blood in the floor !?!? There was a mix up with check out as I had paid the late check out fee when I checked in due to a late flight day of check out… however, it was a disaster as if I had just left my luggage in the room and forgot to check out etc. The staff was very very nice and I am sure it was a simple error. Overall I would still recommend the hotel as what is most important to me is comfort and cleanliness!

When we got to the hotel we were informed that the elevators were down die to a guest smoking in their room. We had to carry our luggage up 4 flights. The second elevator was down our whole trip which is the knlu one that went to the laundry area. My wife went to do laundry and ended up going down the stairs to floor 4. When she got there the door did not open so she went to floor three that contains the pool. When my wife went to use the elevator she slipped on the wet floor, And injured her ankle. I helped my wife up and went down to the reception area to inform them of the accident. Then I returned to my wife and decided to file a report. Approximately 10-15 minutes after the accident the area was not dried nor a warning of the wet floor placed. I went back downstairs to do an accident report. I have still heard no contact from the hotel. This was not the only issues. The beds were mattresses placed on flat wood so the mattress slid easily. The showers leaked. I will be more weary of best western hotels now.

Cheap for a reason. The front desk attendant made sure to tell us that we were inconveniencing her and causing her to redo a report that she was working on. The room was very humid - the floor was sweating, the window was condensation, the towels and bedsheets were damp to the touch. The towels had stains, the sink and counter had water stains as if it hadn’t been cleaned, and the shower was broken away from the wall (I had to use a hand towel to tie it into place). The key card access from the stairs did not work. There was a breakfast in the morning, and the front desk lady in the morning was very professional and attentive which is the only reason I give this 2 stars instead of 1.

  • 5/5 Josefina V. 1 year ago on Google
Doors were a little swollen, so some were hard to open/shut. But the shampoo/conditioner/body wash mounted to the shower wall is the best idea ever. The shower had 2 different heads which we loved. Breakfast was standard, but there was Go-gurt, heck yes! Rooms were as expected from a hotel that caters more towards longer stays. The beds slide a little bit, watch out there. We stayed on the first floor and it does get loud quickly from people coming and going. We would stay again, it's convenient for getting to and from FLL.

Room was clean, breakfast was fresh. Tiffany at the front desk took care of us after a long and stressful day. She didn't hesitate to go over and beyond for us. Our stay shirt but it was pleasant. Thanks again to Tiffany

Despite the bad reviews the hotel was decent. Clean room and bathroom. Front desk staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The pool was clean. The only issue is they need to upgrade the bed blanket . Overall the place was not that bad.
