FORD
OWNERS
-
BEWARE
and
BE
WARNED!
STOLEN
FROM
PINES
FORD
-
FROM
THE
SERVICE
DEPARTMENT!
WE
trusted
them
with
our
EXPLORER
ST
WHEN
IT
WAS
in
for
warranty
REPAIRS
AND
it
was
stolen
under
suspicious
circumstances!
Someone
wanted
our
parts.
Monday,
28
August
2023
IT
WAS
STOLEN!
Someone
entered
our
vehicle
and
drove
away
within
3
seconds.
How?
The
GPS
WAS
DISABLED!
A
3rd
electronic
key
was
made
and
so
The
thief
entered
the
vehicle,
started
it
and
drove
it
away
within
3
seconds!
GUESS
WHAT?
WE
FOUND
OUT
A
3rd
KEY
WAS
CREATED
AS
IT
WAS
THERE
IN
FOR
SERVICE.
See
the
photo.
Please
Tell
me
how
would
a
thief
off
the
street
to
know
that
this
vehicle
(that
was
parked
in
a
maintenance
service
area
was
drivable?)
Ge
was
aware
it
was
ready.
He
was
seen
talking
on
the
phone
to
someone,
looking
around,
until
he
saw
our
vehicle.
He
walked
straight
over
and
got
in,
then
drove
it
away.
It
shows
3
admin
keys
now!!
I
have
STRONG
reason
the
believe
that
Someone
working
there
had
made
this
happen.
According
to
Ford
motor
company
engineering
for
the
Mykey
program.
You
must
have
at
least
one
key
to
make
another.
This
was
WAY
TO
EASY!
They
weren’t
worried
of
security,
being
seen
by
the
cameras.
filed
a
report
with
Pembroke,
Pines
Police
Department.
Obviously,
it
must
have
been
an
inside
job.
Later
it
was
picked
up
nearby
in
Miramar
by
the
Miramar
Police
Department
and
recovered.
They
stole
our
parts!
This
model
has
the
ST
Street
pack
including
the
21
inch
Ford
Explorer
ST
gloss
black
OEM
wheels.
Then
they
stole
the
spare
tire
and
all
the
tools
in
the
back.
ABOUT
$10,000
of
stolen
parts.
We
recovered
the
car
and
was
going
to
have
it
towed
back
to
Pines
Ford
so
that
they
could
help
us
make
things
right
for
the
theft
and
a
chance
for
them
TO
DO
THE
RIGHT
THING.
WE
ARE
NOW
VICTIMS
OF
A
CRIME
but
the
SERVICE
MANAGERs
were
so
cold
and
rude.
THEY
SIMPLY
WANTED
US
TO
GO
AWAY!
I
asked
them
to
repair
my
car
and
give
it
back
the
way
we
left
it.
I
didn’t
think
it
was
fair
that
I
would
have
to
file
a
claim
m.
The
service
manager
said
he
wouldn’t
help
us
unless
we
pay
for
it.
He
said
“it
wasn’t
his
first
rodeo”.
Told
us
good
luck!
They
should
have
jumped
at
the
chance
to
make
things
right.
Nope!
Told
me
to
file
a
claim
and
good
luck.
They
Could
had
ordered
the
missing
parts,
inspected
and
repaired
my
car,
and
then
gave
it
back
to
us
at
their
expense
or
at
least
filed
an
insurance
claim
fir
us
since
they
are
bonded
and
insured.
I
spoke
to
one
of
your
service
managers
and
he
refused
to
be
cooperative.
Get
lost
attitude.
So
this
is
my
story,
and
this
is
what
happened
to
us
I
hope
it
helps.
So
now
I’m
forced
to
escalate
this.
If
a
mechanic
is
driving
your
vehicle
when
they
get
into
an
accident
and
totaled
the
car,
the
dealership
would
cover
that
and
this
is
no
different.
I’m
curious
to
see
what
the
judge
would
say
considering
they
take
their
cars
in
for
service
as
well.
I
want
everyone
to
be
aware
of
this
treatment
from
Pines
Ford
located
in
Pembroke
Pines,
Florida
because
as
it
turns
out
I
was
told
by
the
police
officer
that
contacted
me
that
my
vehicle
wasn’t
the
only
one
stolen
from
that
lot!
So
now
I
understand
why
the
Ford
service
manager
was
so
casual
with
this
conversation,
they’ve
had
it
many
times
before!
Since
this
update,
I
filed
a
claim
on
my
insurance,
I
have
$1000
deductible
and
what’s
worse
my
vehicle
now
has
a
STOLEN
-
THEFT
RECOVERY
REPORTED
on
the
CARFAX!
The
vehicle
identification
number
was
used
and
reported.
This
reduces
the
value
of
the
vehicle
by
thousands
of
dollars.
Sadly
we
trusted
you
with
our
vehicle
and
this
is
what
we
get
in
return?
This
is
our
story,
and
our
statement
is
what
happened
to
us.
Be
very
cautious
with
your
vehicle
when
you
drop
it
off
for
services
so
you
can
avoid
something
like
this
from
happening
to
you.
Because
this
business
doesn’t
care,
they
just
want
to
make
money.
If
something
happens
to
your
vehicle,
something
similar
will
happen
to
you.
