I
saw
that
this
place
had
two
stars
and
thought
to
myself
well
how
bad
could
it
be.
Well
let
me
tell
you,
it’s
bad.
I
went
to
return
something
that
I
had
purchased
in
the
Hialeah
store,
I
tried
to
pick
the
best
looking
box
as
all
the
boxes
looked
like
hadn’t
been
in
touched
in
20
years,
I
briefly
opened
it
at
that
store,
and
it
seemed
fine.
When
I
went
to
install
it,
it
had
black
electrical
tape
on
the
cables
(it
had
been
used
and
ghetto
rigged),
but
more
importantly
it
was
missing
the
mounting
mechanism.
That’s
bad
form
on
their
part,
for
not
checking
something
correctly
before
putting
it
back
out
in
the
floor.
But
it’s
forgivable.
What’s
not
forgivable
is
that
I
had
a
picture
of
the
receipt
and
it
wouldn’t
scan.
This
led
to
the
adventure
below…
Before
we
go
on
I
want
to
mention
that
I
decided
to
take
the
picture
of
the
receipt
because
the
day
I
made
the
purchase
I
noticed
the
receipt
was
faded,
and
I
wanted
to
have
the
best
possible
record
of
it.
The
original
receipt
was
given
to
a
family
member
because
I
had
also
purchased
some
overpriced
light
bulbs
and
one
turned
out
to
be
defective,
so
they
kept
the
original
to
return
it
the
next
day.
The
customer
service
“manager”
tried
to
type
in
the
invoice
number
and
it
wouldn’t
take
it,
there
was
a
number
that
was
hard
to
see
due
to
the
poor
quality
thermal
printer
/
paper.
She
told
me
with
a
smirk
in
her
face
that
there
was
nothing
that
they
could
do.
I
told
her
that
I
didn’t
like
her
smirk,
and
not
to
worry
that
we
were
going
to
find
the
solution.
I
asked
her
to
try
all
combinations,
could
have
been
0,3,6,8,9
and
it
still
didn’t
work.
I
asked
her
if
she
could
look
it
up
using
the
credit
card
and
she
couldn’t
do
it
because
system
didn’t
allow
it.
We
agreed
that
she
would
call
Hialeah,
they
found
the
receipt
and
receipt
number
but
she
still
couldn’t
pull
it
up.
So
I
was
again
told
there
was
nothing
she
could
do.
She
expected
me
to
drive
to
Hialeah
to
return
a
40
dollar
light
fixture.
I
mentioned
that
it
would
be
more
expensive
for
me
to
go
to
Hialeah
to
just
return
something
they
knowingly
sold
defective
/
used.
There
was
no-one
else
in
the
store
that
could
help.
She
was
the
highest
ranked
employee.
I
went
to
the
Lowe’s
website
ready
to
call
corporate
and
she
tried
to
issue
me
a
gift
card
which
apparently
was
not
supposed
to
work,
but
well
it
did
this
time
much
to
customers
service
persons
surprise.
I
gave
my
girlfriend
the
gift
card
and
receipt
to
buy
something
else,
but
she
couldn’t
check
out
because
my
ID
was
required.
We
had
to
do
the
line
twice
because
I
wasn’t
around
(bathroom
tmi).
The
best
part
of
the
whole
visit
was
the
cashier
Leila,
she
was
great,
super
nice
and
approachable.
I
will
not
be
returning
to
this
Lowe’s
or
any
other
location
for
the
foreseeable
future.
They
have
proven
that
they
lack
common
sense,
can’t
track
their
products
correctly
and
their
systems
lack
basic
features,
throw
in
their
few
and
far
apart
locations
and
you
have
a
recipe
for
shopping
at
their
competitors
like
the
one
that
will
win
at
every
card
game,
or
that
other
one
that’s
orange.
