Absolutely beautiful resort. The rooms are very large and they were able to make the large couch into a bed for my son. Everything was clean and well maintained and the staff were amazing. Great value for money and free entry to the zoo each day and was just a short walk away. The only thing I will say is the few times we did eat at the resort we didn't enjoy our meals. Hopefully this changes as the Bali tourism picks up. We would definitely come back and stay.

Wonderful place to spent time family plus free access to the Bali zoo I personally enjoyed my me time at the Spa,and the most attractive thing is breakfast with orang utan it was lovely and the kids enjoyed it very much! And lastly the location was just perfect it’s near to Bali bird park too!

I stayed in Sanctoo and experienced their great service. The staff were very polite and understanding, we were told to wait and given welcome drink also, no more than 5 minutes and our room was ready. Swimming pool is good, breakfast was served well. We got free entrance to Bali zoo also. They offered photography service around the villa, and the photographer was very kind. And one more thing, I booked from Ag*da, got their bery cheap promo for only around 700k IDR per night. Nothing to complain.

My husband and I, with our two teenage children visited Sanctoo Villas for six days of our ten day Bali holiday. From the moment you walk onto the property boundaries, everyone, from the security guards, to parking attendants, check in staff, cleaners and housekeeping are so warm and welcoming. They make you feel at ease immediately. They always greet you with a smile and such customer service is hard to find. One thing to note is that the hotel feels like a retreat. With its lush greenery and contemporary interior, it’s a perfect hideout for someone who just wants to unwind. Rooms- we had two interconnecting rooms. Both rooms were spacious with beautiful bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and housekeeping did a wonderful job of cleaning the rooms every day. The whole place was spotless! We had breakfast included and ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner on a few occasions. It is evident that the chefs are very capable and use ingredients of a high standard. On the first morning, I spoke to the reception staff about how there were limited options for one of my sons and they spoke to the kitchen and got them to make fresh pancakes every morning for him. One thing that disappointed me was the service in the restaurant. Although staff are lovely, sometimes we had to repeat our requests 3/4 times for them to finally bring whatever has been requested. It was surprising because the restaurant was rarely busy. On numerous occasions they completely forgot our orders. For instance, one morning I ordered an omelette. Fifteen minutes later, still no omelette so I reminded the gentleman who assured me that he will sort it for me asap. An hour and half later, still no omelette. Service for other mealtimes is very slow too. You are easily looking up to an hours wait for dinner. We requested a side of French fries as a side one day. These only arrived once we had all eaten our meal and were ready to leave. Breakfast options are limited. The fresh juices and pastries were very good but very limited warm options. Despite this, we had an absolutely lovely stay and I am so glad that I got to experience a wonderful Balinese experience!

Sanctoo is as it’s name suggests. A sanctuary for people to come to and find some peace and love in the middle of their crazy lives. The staff consider their honour to serve as it should be our honour to respect them. The villa was immaculate with own private pool. Highly recommend the blessing ceremony at the temple and the elephant mud fun and expedition. We cannot recommend this gorgeous peaceful oasis in the jungle enough. Thank you so much for everything. We had a superb experience during our stay in Sanctoo. I honestly didn't expect the room was gonna be so spacious, with an additional sofa bed that's comfortable and big enough for an extra person to sleep on. The view in the morning was amazing as we could clearly see the sunrise from our balcony. The pool was also nice, and the staffs were super friendly. We got a free 20-minute photo session with additional charges if we want to keep more photos (which obviously we did bcs the results were great). One more thing: they had one of the best spas around Ubud as it is located right next to a waterfall--whose sound can give you extra comfort during treatment. The only downside was probably the breakfast, as they only had limited options, but it did not really matter to us. With unlimited access to the zoo, we really couldn't ask for more :)

We spent 3D2N in this wonderful hotel located within the Bali Zoo. Very recommended if you are planning to stay with kids and to spend time and enjoy Bali zoo thoroughly (they give hotel customer unlimited pass to the zoo). The staffs were friendly and really helpful overall. The breakfast was decent but you can have it in your room. Overall it was a nice and serene escape from the daily hectic world :D Thank you Sanctoo!!

An idyllic stay to detach, relax & unwind. The front office & restaurant staff are people friendly & solution oriented. They do have a good knowledge of the English language but need more practice. Food is good with dishes prepared fresh off the burners. A crash course in preparing Indian cuisine will be most welcome too.

The view in every corner is amazing, friendly staff with fast response, everything is clean and tidy , we stayed for one week and it was amazing. The pool is so clean and warm , it is refreshing even to just set. The spa is very good too, private room with waterfall view and calm environment with nature sounds, they respect you privacy and ask where u don't want to be touched. They pay attention to the details very well. The only problem is ants but this cannot be handle as you are in jungle 😁 and they still do their best to get rid of them. Great vacation there

we stayed 2 nights in mid September very clean hotel..workers friendly enough. this hotel access to bali zoo. i tried the spa in this hotel highly recommend. spa location near the waterfall. the therapist is quite professional I really enjoyed my 3 hour massage spa treatment.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. There is big window in front of the bed with jungle view. The pool is also clean. Location is strategic, not that far from city centre and you have free access to Bali Zoo. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is ok, there is not much varieties. Keen to stay at this hotel again.

What a five-star hotel-superb customer service, spacious room and nice swimming pool! We also had free access to the Bali zoo. Staff were all friendly and courteous. Breakfast buffet was sufficient and had both Western and Asian varieties.

Let's do the simple thing, divide it into f four parts. 1. ROOMS : Lovely rooms. Big spacious ones with a lush green view from the balcony. Washrooms are BIG too. All in all perfect rooms with No "room" for any sort of cons. 2. SERVICE : What makes Indonesia wonderful is their PEOPLE. And when you have great people, the service is bound to be good. There's a bit of a catch here though. The people are very warm, nice & helping the service is a little SLOW in terms of speed. Sometimes they're taking a little too much time to deliver even items as small as pieces of onions. Otherwise FANTASTIC staff & lovely lovely people! 3. LOCATION : It all depends on what sort of locations you like. But still, this is far away from the limelight of Bali. It right in the midst of The Bali Zoo so expect silence all around the premises. It's good for some, not for others. 4. FOOD : If you're a PURE VEGETARIAN, you'll struggle. Not many items to choose from in the Veg options. Very very few. But whatever we got, if we talk about the taste there, it was fine. Can prepare Veg. Fried Rice which is good if you eat it hot. Ordered a Margherita Pizza one day as well, that was fantastic too. So the food is good, if they can serve good veg Food despite VERY little options, then the seafood must be excellent. Also, had the SPA which is located in the Villas, WOW that was some experience. The gushing waters of the Dam coupled with Greens. ABSOLUTELY outstanding! All in All, a wonderful property & I'll give it a 9/10!

The Sanctoo Suites & Villa is an amazing place to relax. They have maintained the property very well. It is really nice and clean. The staff is really helpful, caring and friendly. We stayed in a villa and was super clean and the bathroom was neat, spacious and airy. The villa pool was just so clean and the view was beautiful! The breakfast was limited but the food was good. For dinner they have good options and food was delicious. They have many spa options and it was a different experience. Loved it!!!! Additionally, you get to go in the Bali Zoo for free which is a 2 minute walk and another zoo which they take you by a bus. The zoo is very well maintained and it was amusing in a fun way. They have different activities like breakfasts with orangutans, bird show and animal show.

Rooms were big and so clean. This hotel just screams luxury and makes you feel pampered. The food was excellent and the staff couldnt do enough for you. Thanks for two days we wont forget and will be back the next time in Bali

A remarkable experience here. Pool have a warm water, nice ambience. Nice room layout. But when I visited, the blanket have a bad smell. Ask a room service and they replaced with new one in just 5 minutes 😱

We visited Bali for our daughter's birthday. January 2023. Sanctoo Suites & Villas was by far the best place we stayed at! ...... Tia at the front desk was extremely accommodating; she listened attentively to our wants and desires, putting us in a very comfortable room were we would not see many lizards or bugs. Tia was very kind and sweet to our daughter. ... ... The Massage was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The water sound as you get your treatment is very healing ✨️ The Massage and the zoo visit definitely made our stay one of the best! ..... .... The only con was the food was not as good. But everything else was 5 star worthy! .... ..... Thank you to Tia and the Wonderful staff here at Sanctoo Suites & Villas.

This place is right inside the zoo, so you will likely be woken up by the monkeys in the morning which really adds to the experience. The staff are amazing, a running theme in Bali. The food was delicious although limited in choice. We stayed 4 days and by the end were a little bored of things to eat. It's a very clean hotel with smoking areas limited to an area beside the bar, the bar which has its own cassowary enclosure is lovely with good drinks and you are up close with love animals. Special shout out to the resident house cat merlin - beautiful white cat who nobody knows how he got there as he unlike any of the local cats in Bali. The hotel provides good services - especially the couple's photography session, and we also got discount on the water bath with elephants and spa treatment. Happy hour is all you can drink cocktails for 150k pp, be warned they aren't expecting British level of drinking so don't be shy and wave them over - they will be happy to help!

Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms. floating breakfast available. Convenient location, close to Ubud and the Monkey Forest.

--Resort is located just outside of Bali zoo, and we book suites, so we got unlimited access to zoo but no idea about room type but minimum 1 acess is available for all room type. --Breakfast was decent --Suite was very spacious, and the bathroom was very good. --Staff was really good, and hospitality was great. --This resort is located about 11km from the Ubud market, so if you want to stay in nature and relax, then this is the best location else you might get bored as everything closed at around 7pm. --traffice is crazy when traveling to and from the Ubud market. --If you are traveling to Airport from this resort, then it may take between 2-3 hrs. Overall, good stay. BTW Bali zoo is must visit place if you are in Ubud. Thanks

A peaceful and quiet small resort with a class. The room is spacious and clean, the swimming pool is really alluring for you to jump into. Though the resort is very empty due to the PPKM, they didn't reduce any service (including the resto operating hr up to 11pm) and the staff are very friendly and responsive to your requests. The food is good with affordable price. And they brought some animals from the zoo for you to pet. The spa is amazing, with the waterfall, the drinks and so relaxing massage with affordable price. Such a very good value for money for a resort with a class like Sanctoo. We would love to come back when the zoo is opened!

Flowers detail in interior is exceed expectations. Spent the night at The suite , comfy rooms, great bathrooms (yeaay!) But all non smoking room. You should go to open space in restaurant to smoke

to be honest I came here only for the SPA. With a very good view and excellent service, the spa here is great as a place to take pictures. but from the massage service there is still something lacking for the price in its class. there is no foot wash and we are not given a choice of scent for the body scrub.

The 1 bedroom villa was really good! A little old and tired but if you can look past that was well worth it. The pool and outdoor area were great for swims morning and night. Unfortunately the cocktails were the worst I've ever tasted and I would not pay for them! Some of the food was great and others meals below par. I would recommend this resort for the room only. The zoo access was a nice addition.

Highly recommended for family 🤍. Great value for money, great room, excellent service from all staffs. Should definitely try their spa, no wonder it was awarded world’s luxury spa winner in 2017. Would definitely come back when visiting Ubud!
