Utterly divine restaurant serving world-class dishes at unreasonably affordable prices. The taster menus are a journey through Portuguese ingredients, regions and cuisine; showing creativity and skill in equal amounts. The architecture and interior design’s brutalist yet warm charm rivals the superb quality of food, with delectable wines coming from the vines just outside the floor length windows. This is one to go miles out of your way for.

It is a truly outstanding restaurant on so many levels: The driving force, Chef Diogo Rocha is delivering a delicious, magic and stunning tour the force, where we with the “6 food and wine moments” had more than 20 very different servings over 3 hours. The service is uniquely informal, informative and very professionally lead by Carla, her sister Andrea and Sommelier Tiago and their team: we literally had SO much fun during the evening, that it was difficult to leave. And the minimalist open space architecture with the most stunning views over their vineyards is the cherry on the top of such an extraordinary experience. Do not miss it!

When eating becomes an extraordinay experience. World class dishes with tradicional products, beautiful place and views and extremely kind staff. One should not skip this place if wanting an once on a lifetime voyage into eating perfection. The price is not cheap, of course, but it is worth it. Every single dish that we had deserves the visit.

Superb place for lunch and dinner. Friendly staff and amazing food. Take time to enjoy it, it is not a place for a quick lunch.

An out of this world gastronomic experience! Truly breathtaking location and architecture. A very very special place to sit and eat! As you would expect of a Michelin star restaurant the service was faultless. Not uptight or too formal. We mixed up English & Portuguese and the menu and wine was always explained with care and attention to detail. It was a magical place to spend my birthday and I cannot wait to one day return! Chef Diogo and your wonderful team you should all be so proud at what you have created in the rolling hills of the Dao region. Truly world class. Thank you all so much

Easily the best of the six different Michelin star restaurants I've had the opportunity to visit in Portugal so far (including two 2 star ones). Tucked away on a large and quietly remote vineyard, the drive alone coming up to the restaurant makes you feel like you're in a movie driving up to some futuristic building that is stylishly designed and equally minimalistic and luxurious. The food really shines though here. The balance of flavours, quality and freshness of ingredients (including from the property), creativity in preparation and presentation, pacing, portion sizes... I could find no fault in the entire dining experience. The chefs here clearly excel at their craft, and I personally think the Michelin guide screwed up by not awarding them 2 stars instead of just 1. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the servers actually took the time to explain each dish well. It was raining hard when I arrived and the short walk from the parking area to the front door is not covered so I got quite wet, but the staff were waiting to receive me and offered me napkins to help me dry my face and glasses. This restaurant is definitely worth the drive to get here and felt like it was worth every penny.

An outstanding restaurant in every way: outstanding food, wonderful service and a setting that is stunning. The chef’s menu was one the best meals of our lives without any misses. The paired wines were all excellent, especially the 2006 and 2012 tintos. A great experience Thai which everyone should partake.

A true journey to the Portuguese rich gastronomy, using only seasonal products beautifully cooked and presented. The atmosphere could not be better as we eat in a middle of a vineyard looking at the sunset (dinner time) and the Mountains as a backstage. A great wine selection, locally produced, is offered and reveals Dao’s excellence in mineral and fresh white’s and complex as well as spiced, oaky and complex red’s Will for sure be back to try the new menu!

Undoubtedly a pleasant experience, the simple space free of distractions other than the landscape of its vineyard, the professional staff and a Chef to match. As for the moments, just tasting accompanied with wine from the farm. I recommend.

Excellent dinner experience. We had the 8 course tasting menu dinner and all was great. Particular shoutout to the swordfish w/ beetroot. Location is also great, a bit of a remote vineyard which sets a great environment. Highly recommended.
