Ashley fitted a Hive Thermostat for us and because we had ordered one that wasn't compatible for our boiler he ordered the correct one and called again to fit it the same day he was on time tided up after himself and because we wasn't sure about the hive (being in our 60s) he went through everything with us he even rang up a number of times to check we were OK with it, I definitely recommend Ashley thankyou so much xx

I have employed electrical engineers and electricians in my past career as a general manager. Mr Lake is a professional and conscientious electrician. He installed an oven and repaired and re-installed a kitchen light. He picked up on the previous oven installation not being to standard and fitted the correct specification cable and upgraded the relevant circuit breaker. I would not hesitate to recommend him and to use him in the future. His price was less than I expected He is a credit to his profession.

Really pleased with the light fittings that Ashley installed which were the finishing touches to our panelled living room wall. Ashley, was very quick in getting the work done and carried it out accurately & professionally without any damage to the dry wall or panelling. A very thorough and professional job. Will definitely be asking Ashley to carry out some more work in the other rooms of our house. 5 stars.

I contacted Ashley to enquire about fitting some new heating in my property. He came back to me really quickly and gave me a quote for the work with a quick turn around. He is extremely professional and the heating looks great, he even helped sort out my EICR certificate and took the headache away from that. I meant to write this review a while ago, but I got side tracked by other things. Had just moved and needed my oven put into the electrics to I could cook food, but I have 0 knowledge of how to do so. I had a quick look on google for a local electrician, and saw that A Lake Electrical Services had great reviews so I called them up. The man I spoke to had just got home, as he had no more jobs booked for the day. (It was just after 17:00 when I called.) He very kindly, and very swiftly came over to mine and sorted out my oven perfectly. I would absolutely suggest them to anyone who is looking for an electrician, for all the reasons mentioned above. Thank you once again for such a stellar job!!

We had a problem with our sockets not working and called Ashley at 5pm. He was here within half an hour of call out and worked hard to solve the problem . Ashley provided a very professional service. I highly recommend this electrician as he is reliable, trustworthy and the service provided is of a very high standard. All of the electricity in my house went off. I was very impressed with speed at which he answered my call and then arrived to fix the problem within an hour. He sourced a replacement switch within half an hour. My power was fully restored. He also fixed my shower which had been wired incorrectly. He offered good advice on the electric set up in my house. Fantastic response to an emergency with electrics. Ashley checked everything and found the most hidden fault/damage to wiring hidden in the trunking of a wall socket. He checked all my sockets to reassure me and explained how the circuits worked, loads and also checked and replaced fuse in main fuse box. He was really competitive on price compared to others I’d contacted, understood the urgency because of my work to be able to get online and have power. He is polite, professional and trustworthy and I would definitely recommend him.

Ashley was very professional, replied quickly to my request for a quote. He fitted new light fittings an external light and a ring cctv security light system. Work was completed on time to a great standard, and offered great value for the work completed. I will look to use Ashley for any electrical work in the future.

Ashley recently carried out several jobs in our new home, he is really professional and efficient. Contacted Ashley on 23rd December with an electrical fault that was preventing my heating from working. Although Ashley had finished for Christmas he still came in and sorted it for me. Cost was very good and I will definitely use him again for all my future electrical work. First rate 5 stars.

Got let down by someone else and a family member recommended Ashley.
