The best hospitality I received out of the whole of my travels through South East Asia! The hosts look after their customers so well and are amazing people. There is a lovely swimming pool to relax in and watch the sun go down over the farming land. Make sure you ask Boom Boom (the living legend) to try some of his home made alcohol…!!

The fact that this is my second time staying here just this year alone says it all. This place is such a rare and special gem in Bali. Hidden away in the middle of the jungle, you feel all the beauty of nature while still enjoying all the luxuries of a villa. That feeling of opening up your villa door in the morning and being greeted by a sea of lush green jungle as you take a dip in your private pool, listening to nothing but the sounds of nature around you— truly unforgettable. Also this place is super fun to explore, winding paths along the valley side decorated with mossy sculptures and little hidden vistas that inspire you to venture in and see it all. You can go down to the river as well and see a little waterfall hidden in the valley. All I can say is this place feels magical and the pictures don’t really do it justice. After a long day of sight seeing around Bali, coming back to the calm and quiet beauty of this place is everything. 100% recommend

I had the pleasure of staying at the Bali Bamboo Hostel and Huts in Ubud, Bali last year, and I can't stop raving about it! Managed by the most delightful couple Siri and bambu , this property truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The journey to this remarkable place began when a friend of mine in Kuta recommended it, and I'm forever grateful for that recommendation. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of belonging. The fact that the property is hosted by such a lovely couple added a personal touch to my entire stay. What sets this place apart are the incredible amenities they provide. Not only can you explore the surroundings on their complimentary bicycles, but they also offer the convenience of renting scooters and cars for those seeking a more independent adventure. The nightly servings of refreshing jungle juice added a fun and communal aspect to the evenings, while the complimentary breakfast in the mornings, complete with an array of delicious vegetarian options, was an absolute treat. The small touches didn't go unnoticed either. Upon arrival, I was offered a welcome drink that immediately made me feel at home. And let's talk about the food – their fried rice and vegetarian dishes were a true delight for the taste buds. The accommodations themselves are well worth every penny. Quiet, charming, and reasonably priced, the rooms provided the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring. If you're planning a visit to Ubud, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at the Bali Bamboo jungle Huts and hostel. It's more than just a place to rest; it's an experience that captures the essence of Ubud's beauty, culture, and the genuine warmth of its people. I can't wait to return to this paradise and reunite with that unforgettable Bali experience.

10/10 recommend! Sri and Boom Boom are the absolute best hosts with the most amazing souls and truly treat you like family! The other guests were just as phenomenal and we had the best adventures as a group. Be sure to do my batur hike and have boom boom teach his art of coconut oil making. Also jungle juice is a must to try!

The guests are super welcoming, the food is quite nice and breakfast is nice and super cheap if you want more portions. You can also have unlimited free hot or ice tea !! The swimming pool is very clean with a nice and calming view over the rice field. Be aware of the jungle juice it is vicious though. Great experience overall we had an extraordinary rest week there.

Had an absolutely amazing time here. Bumbum and Sri took every step to make us feel welcomed and looked after. Would recommend this hostel to anyone who’s considering! We booked a silver jewellery making class through the hostel which was an amazing experience. We also organised the mt batur sunrise walk through the hostel and Sri woke up at 2:30 to make us breakfast and pack us lunch for the walk which was so so so lovely of her. The breakfast that is included from the hostel is also so tasty and a great portion size. Such lovely staff that work at this hostel :)))) thanks guys for a great stay in ubud ! Favourite part of our trip

A little paradise ❤️ the view, huts, dorm, restaurant are amazing, but it's the extreme kindness of Sri and Bumbum what makes you stay longer. Do not hesitate to go there, you'll have all the facilities, free breakfast ant coffee/tea, cheap scooter rental, activities and workshops, and you'll feel like being with family 🥰

Wow, best hostel I stayed in ever by far! The hostel is located not that far from Ubud and is great as a starting point to explore entirity of Bali. The dormitory is kept very clean at all times and the food they serve is delicious. Owners are the true embodiment of Balinese hospitality, I got robbed of my phone and wallet in Kuta but I could use their phone and were very accomodating to me. Will 100% come back here!

We did not sleep here, however we got lost and came here for help. We met boomboom here, what a nice man. It’s rare to meet genuine kind people. Even though we did not sleep here we recommended everyone to go here if you are looking for a hostel in the beautiful jungle with very kind staff

The best place to stay in Bali. Amazing rooms and pool, and the most friendly and hospitable owners. The Jungle juice is pretty great too. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Bali.

The place is amazing. As a jungle so many trees, plants and some bugs and gecko. I love being here. But they need to clean up the bathroom, the restaurant has so many spiderwebs. The breakfast food not really good as Bali in general is actually so good in food. Hopefully they will repair some broken stuffs and clean the rooms. Please take care your assets, because it's actually beautiful place so peaceful and fresh air.

Favourite hostel I have ever stayed at. The owners Sri and BumBum are so kind and funny, they make you feel like family and after 5 nights I felt really sad to leave! The food they make is amazing, the staff is all very kind, the pool is beautiful and overlooking a rice plantation, the rooms are super spacious and beds are nice and comfortable, and the common space is great for socialising. They also give free breakfast, choice of banana pancakes with fruit or scrambled eggs and toast with fruit, AMAZING!

Sri and Bumbum are the most amazing hosts! They take you in like family and make you feel so welcome. We had lots of questions regarding to Bali itself and their traditions and they took the time to explain them all. They also gave me great recommendations of what to do in the area. Sri even gave us offerings to bring to the temple on full moon. The bamboo huts are so comfy and they have an amazing view into the jungle. The pool is great as well. Showers and toilets are clean. All the staff is very nice and you get free water and tea during your stay. Bumbum even gave us lots of local fruits to try! Sri and Bumbum really made it the perfect jungle stay for me!

My partner and I did a coconut oil class at Bali Bamboo jungle huts! Hands down it is one of our favourite activities we have done being in Ubud! The service was amazing, pick up and drop off at our villa as well as a welcome drink and lunch after the class! It is a family run business and the energy and effort they put into every guest is felt! The class itself was so special. Doing something from their culture that had been passed down by generations and them then teaching us was so special! Being in the jungle and learning how many amazing things you can make from a coconut was mind blowing! Highly recommend this activity!

Super friendly staff that make you feel super welcome, the location is a bit out of ubud and surrounded by jungle, but the friendliness of the staff definately made it a 5 star stay anyways❤️

great place to escape busy Ubud and the south. Lovely scenes and very close to other attractions in the north (waterfalls etc). There is a really nice traditional Bali village 5 mins drive away. Staff are extremely helpful. Bikes are cheap. Supermarket is 5 mins drive away also. Lovely place. Thanks

There is no place like this, it looks and feels like paradise. The people from the service are very kind, the room service is good, the nature on it is awesome. I will definitely come back here, there is a mystical thing in this place where you feel like in a deep jungle forest, surrounded by birds, animals and no signal of traffic nor people, you can feel on your own there. The statues, the decoration, everything is beautiful. There are not enough words to describe the feeling there. It's a little eden.

Loved our stay here and was perfect for our first time in Bali. The host Sri was amazing and really looked after us. The food here was also very good and a great price. Great location for anyone comfortable on a scooter!

The owner and staff are incredibly hospitable and kind. I was greeted with a welcome beverage and had a nice breakfast in the morning. The beds are very comfortable and the dorm room is very clean and nice. One of my favorite hostel stays for sure and gives a good taste of Bali village living!

Stayed here for a couple nights and it was great. A bit out of the way from ubud but close to the rice fields and cretya so had a very relaxing atmosphere away from the business of ubud. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to help you. The food is also fantastic with vegetarian options and big portions. Only difficulty was getting taxis to and from, but wish I had longer to stay here.

Sri and bum bum are THE best hosts I’ve ever had.. they make you feel at home from the moment you step on the property, with a welcome drink and a warm welcome in the restaurant/ chill out area. I was lucky enough to stay in the jungle hut (which bumbum has built himself!) It was such a cool experience, nothing was too much to ask. One morning I had a cough and Sri brought over my breakfast with a hot water lemon honey and ginger .. they are so genuine and it made the whole stay something really special which I’ll never forget. Im actually returning in a couple of weeks, it’s my fave place in Bali. It’s a really sociable hostel, I met so many people here within 3 days! It’s super safe also.

Came here for the organic coconut oil making, which was fantastic, but what also really surprised us is the amazing food!! Fresh ingredients and absolutely out of this world taste, 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I stayed in the hostel for 2 nights and it was a really nice place, the common area is a good place to socialize with other travelers, the food was delicious and the pool view of the rice fields was stunning... I would definitely visit again. Ps: Expect the roosters to wake u up in the morning if you're a light sleeper.

Lovely friendly happy owners! So attentive and helpful! Felt like this hostel was there home not just a business. Great views over rice fields. Free wifi. Quiet and relaxing place. About 30 mins from central Ubud. Hostel was quiet this time of the year. Hot water. Place to dry clothes. Free tea, coffee, water and breakfast. Very affordable! Only issue was the leeches and lizards in room/bathroom and poolside. Not going to harm you but grossed me out! Can rent scooters and good menu!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredible hosts, Sri and Bum Bum. Their kindness, friendliness, and eagerness to help made my stay truly unforgettable. The hostel itself was impeccably clean and spacious, offering a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation and socializing. The highlight of the property was undoubtedly the swimming pool, which overlooked a picturesque rice field. The hostel boasts a prime location, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. Don't hesitate to book a few nights in this hostel if your seeking for a peaceful stay.
