It's such a nice garden with lots of sections to view. Probably would take about an hour if you go around slowly. It's very picturesque but I guess it'd be nicer if you come in autumn or spring. There's a buggy car service. This place is run by volunteers. There's also a tea house here. It's $15 for adult entry. There's also a yearly pass/host pass.

Absolutely beautiful. Hundreds of Rhododendrons and other plants. Lots of tracks taking you to different areas. There's also a cafe. Highly recommend it.

Magnificent multicultural gardens which have been run by volunteers for 40 years, amazing fact! No such thing as a bad photo here. The garden is breathtakingly beautiful. The rhododendrons spectacular. My favourite part was the Japanese 🏯 garden & all the lovely lakes. You will be bathed in translucent colour and reflection. A must see whilst visiting Tasmania, our island paradise.

Just beautiful and a peaceful environment. Lucky enough to see the platypus and other wildlife. Look forward to visiting in spring to see all the flowers bloom

probably the best thing to do in burnie! in my opinion 😎 the entry fee is $15 per person and there’s volunteers in the tearoom that will help you pay. if not you can put money in through the door. there are platypus here that i was able to watch for 20mins in the pond out by the deck of the main building. loved all the gardens. really beautiful and the rhodo’s weren’t even really out when i went!!

World class gardens, pram accessible paths (but a bit steep at times for wheelchairs), lovely friendly volunteers and even gluten free toasties on the menu.

Lovely gardens with numerous varieties and nice walks but the Chinese Garden was pretty special with its ponds. Very restful place to visit. Leave time for relaxation

Wandering around the vast area was easy. To see the different areas was great. The only downside was our visit in the wrong time of year - no flowering Rhododendron bushes.

Alan took us around on a buggie which was super helpful since the grounds are a bit uneven and there are some steeper hills. There were such a great variety of plants and flowers. Even some platypus in the lake! The tea house was also worth a stop. They have tea and scones which were delicious and the staff were all so friendly.

One of the lovely places to see Autumn colours in NW Tassie. A huge Arboretum which is all maintained by volunteers! Various trees and plants from various continents flourish there. The fern enclave made it appear as if I was in the midst of a bygone era. One of the volunteers at the office, too her time to explain the park and how it grew with the hard work of volunteers. And I mainly went to capture the beauty of Autumn, and I wasnt disappointed, though I went late when the trees have shed their beauty mostly. Would return for the spring and next autumn, for sure. And!! if you are a local, buying a membership of 30AUD would be much useful if you love frequenting this park.

Absolutely worth a visit !! A must see for all garden lovers, acres and acres of beautifully set out gardens with some play areas set for children , lots to see for all ages. Cafe included, very friendly volunteers both in the gardens and in the Cafe. Home made scones, with home made jam and cream were to die for ! . Not an expensive day out at all.
