I
was
always
a
sporty
boy
growing
up,
and
from
a
young
age,
I
always
thought
that
being
in
a
team
meant
training
and
competing
together.
I
always
had
an
eye
for
the
person
who
was
behind
me
and
the
person
in
front
of
me,
I
never
got
to
truly
enjoy
sports
or
fitness
properly
because
i
was
drilled
to
a
point
where
I
thought
sports
and
team,
was
all
about
competing
with
each
other.
I
never
understood
what
being
part
of
a
team
really
meant,
until
I
joined
673
Jerudong
(J-Box)
I'll
be
honest,
when
I
first
joined
J-Box,
I
was
surprised
by
all
the
love
and
support
that
I
got
from
each
and
every
individual
athlete,
I
actually
thought,
everyone
was
being
nice
to
me
because
I
was
new.
But
as
the
months
went
by,
I
realised
that
they
weren't
just
being
nice
to
me,
they
were
slowly
accepting
me
into
their
family
and
into
their
home.
They
simply
wanted
me
to
feel
welcome
and
to
feel
apart
of
their
team.
For
the
first
time,
I
understood
what
it
was
to
be
apart
of
a
team,
it
didn't
matter
if
the
person
next
to
me
was
stronger
than
me
or
weaker
than
me,
or
he/she
got
a
better
score
than
me,
it
was
the
fact
that
you
support
your
brother
or
sister
from
the
first
bell
to
the
end,
no
matter
what,
at
the
end
of
the
day,
you
walk
out
happy.
J-Box
isn't
just
a
gym,
its
Central
Perk
with
Bars
and
Weights
to
me.
To
fly
that
flag,
representing
673
Jerudong
is
something
I
feel
that
I
need
to
do,
because
I
owe
it,
to
everyone,
who
have
shown
me,
what
being
part
of
a
team
really
means.
