Hotel used for quarantine and found to be up to good standard. Food can be a little bland sometimes and not to my tasting but room service is excellent and have a good choice of food on menu. Room is big and spacious and very comfortable.

One of the best hotel to bring your kids. The swimming pool is clean, not so deep (only 120 m). Its near to the guest room (even when your room at 4th floor). The service is good. Fyi the check in is at 2 pm. Early check in would be charge $10 per hour. But its worth to check in early, if you want yo avoid long que at 2 pm check in. There are restaurant at the lobby but if you feel you want to go dine outside, the nearest is the Jerudong Park Foodcourt or the Mc Donald's at Jerudong.Overall happy family experience 😘

Conveniently close to Jerudong Park, Starlodge offers an outdated room but compensates with a pool. Perfect for a weekend stay if you're keen on the nearby attractions and don't mind the room's vintage feel.

The wifi in the hotel is very slow. Did ookla tests, 2-3 Mbps for upload and download. Also when I call reception to ask something, the front desk can't really answer me well. The room itself is fine, it's just that it is not soundproof. If someone is talking in the other room, you can clearly hear it.

The reservation officer (Nadiya Abdullah) is so rude and complacent. Please hire someone with a basic understanding of hospitality and dealing with customers. Absolutely appalled and disgusted with the way she spoke on the phone.

The room is spacious and clean but slightly dated. Value for money. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Good location but you need a car to travel around. The swimming pool is decent and great for kids. Also, bear in mind that you might not get a parking space if you're driving and the internet doesn't seem to work when the hotel is busy.

Got moved to a penthouse room 502. Avoid the penthouse stick to normal room. Spacious and clean but i think its haunted. Cant sleep for 4 days. Im alone but the penthouse feels occupied. When i first entered the penthouse , the room feels like no one’s been there for quite sometime. Had a nightmare of what seems to be like the famous pocong in my nightmare. Would love to stay here again but NOT the penthouse unit hahaha.

Terrible and unforgettable breakfast buffet experienced, the hotel was serving awful spoiled chicken fillet in their breakfast buffet.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Thank you for housing the locals as one of COVID19 quarantine place in the country. Other than the meals that were also sponsored by our government, I have also tried other items on the menu. Not bad, however, the food has good room for improvement. The curry puffs are pretty good. Recommended. Thank you Brunei for sponsoring locals for the stay and also the meals. Very much appreciated.

Bit out of the city. But has swimming pool so that's a big bonus. If you're travelling to brunei. You definitely need to rent a car. So we offer that solution hehe

Rooms are neat and spacious. It’s a good value hotel. When we booked we didn’t realise the pool is inside the middle of the hotel so the loud noise really echos if you’re trying to rest. But the service was friendly.

Quite an impressive hotel, its quiet ambience and proximity to the city centre made the stay worthwhile. Staff were friendly and communication in English is not at all a problem. With the level of service, I will definitely be back. My one week stay here was pleasant.

The hotel must be at least 50 years old without any renovation nor upgrades since opening. It felt dirty and smelly inside of the room. The location is far from everything, even it looks close to the city center on the map. Unless you are really on a budget l, I do not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. A bit dated, could use a refresh on the interiors but I love that the rooms open into the swimming pool in the courtyard. Feels very homey somewhat.

Good location, spacious room. Can improve the breakfast spread. All five days of my stay it was repeated, without much changes. Which was bit odd. Hope the management takes not of this.

*I book my room using agoda (without breakfast) for $49.50 per night, so its fine for me *My room simple, clean and jungle view (which i dont mind at all since i want to have a peace of mind) *Internet - not good at all,not suitable for meeting (i willing to use my data internet) *Customer services - ok (so far i havent face any rude staffs) Location - far from bandar seri begawan (so need to hire car, dart app (like grab) or taxi....jerudong park playground is near (walking for 15 min)

Bad breakfast, non guests are able to swim in the pool, very poor security, no life guard or security guarding the hotel n pool, short staffed, very rude receptionist. Room is okay but has very little toiletries (eg soap, shampoo), limited choices in drink bar. Its not worth the price basically, food is dry and bland, rather cook maggi myself! Really wanna focus on the very rude receptionist, didn’t even look me with any single politeness and had a rude tone. I understand I may be younger than her but that doesn’t give her the right to be disrespectful. Other staffs are also unwelcoming. Its just so unsatisfactory in every way.
