I
was
initially
seen
at
my
primary
care
doctorās
office
because
I
I
had
passed
out
at
work.
She
detected
tachycardia
along
with
a
sinus
tach
ekg
result.
She
said
I
needed
to
go
immediately
to
the
ER
and
called
EMS
(an
ambulance)
to
transport
me
from
her
office
because
she
did
not
want
me
to
go
without
being
monitored.
After
being
brought
in
by
ambulance
for
a
potential
heart
rhythm
problem,
someone
in
the
ER
made
the
decision
that
I
didnāt
need
to
be
seen
right
away
and
I
was
handed
off
to
a
triage
nurse
who
took
my
vitals
and
asked
very
rudely
why
was
I
shaking.
I
told
her
Iād
been
shaking
like
that
all
day.
I
was
visibly
in
distress,
as
noted
on
the
paperwork
of
the
summary
of
care
from
my
primary
care
doctor,
I
was
sweating,
light
headed,
and
had
a
terrible
headache.
I
was
told
to
go
sit
down
in
the
waiting
room.
I
was
very
upset.
I
asked
a
different
nurse,
at
the
nurseās
station
in
the
waiting
area,
how
long
the
wait
might
be
because
I
had
come
in
via
ambulance
and
my
doctor
felt
it
was
emergent.
That
nurse,
the
worst,
most
rude,
uncaring,
medical
person
I
have
ever
met,
looked
at
me
and
said
5
hour
wait
-
10
people
ahead
of
you!
I
was
left
in
the
crowded
waiting
area
for
6
HOURS.
Not
one
nurse
glanced
my
way.
I
came
in
there
because
I
could
have
been
having
a
very
serious
heart
issue
and
after
I
was
basically
told
to
sit
down,
shut
up
and
wait,
I
spent
6
HOURS
without
being
checked
on,
without
any
one
checking
my
vitals
again
-
no
help,
compassion,
or
concern.
If
I
asked
about
the
wait
time,
I
was
made
to
feel
as
if
I
was
the
biggest
annoyance.
I
was
made
to
feel
as
if
I
was
there
because
I
just
decided
to
walk
in
and
ask
for
attention.
I
would
have
NEVER
even
gone
there
if
my
doctor
had
not
sent
me.
6
HOURS
and
no
one
thought
it
was
necessary
to
do
something
as
simple
as
check
on
my
vitals.
I
FINALLY
got
into
the
actual
emergency
department
to
be
seen
-
again
this
was
6
HOURS
after
my
doctor
said
it
was
emergent
enough
that
I
go
there
with
EMS.
The
staff
in
the
ER
waiting
area
are
the
worst
medical
professionals
Iāve
ever
had
the
unfortunate
experience
of
encountering.
I
wish
I
knew
the
name
of
the
nurse
who
was
especially
rude
and
condescending
but
I
donāt
so
Iāll
say
she
had
shaved
hair
on
the
sides
of
her
head
with
longer
hair
on
top,
slicked
back
into
a
ponytail.
Awful,
unpleasant
person.
I
USED
to
have
the
highest
respect
and
regard
for
St
Maryās.
I
do
not
anymore.
