Previous management Belgrade was excellent. Since they’ve been bought out in May of this year, there have been nothing but issues. We were told that we could opt out of the community wide internet installation, but that was a lie, they came in to our apartment and unhooked the equipment that I own without my consent, and installed new equipment. Even though we had opted out of this service because it’s $35 more than what we were paying. They changed the office hours so it’s impossible to get contact with anyone anymore because the phones are always busy. I’ve called 12 times in the last two days and it’s been busy every single time. They have taken away amenities, we no longer have a business office to make black and white copies, the community room is $75 to rent out (it’s just a basic room, nothing special), the office is no longer open on Saturday, the lawn service was canceled, and the maintenance is an all new staff. These are 20 year old apartments, and they’re charging new apartment prices. They have done nothing to add value to the properties. I would stay well away if I could.

We have been long term residents here and since our property was purchased by a different company EVERYTHING has gone down hill. Customer service is terrible. We have had to do our own sidewalk maintenance. Rent is skyrocketing with numerous new charges and residents are being forced into paying for community internet which is twice as costly as we pay for our current internet. Told by management that we can "choose not to use it but still have to pay for it " Office manager is exceptionally rude.

If you're a tenant like me who just wants to live quietly with your dogs, pay your bills on time/early every month, and be left alone this is absolutely not the place for you. My apartment is clean, I pick up after my dogs every time they poop, I haven't had any complaints about me, I pay my rent early. I live by myself with my 2 dogs and that is all I care to do. I have no criminal history or sketchy background of any kind, but am still bothered for one reason or another. My 1 bed 1 bath apartment is $1,219 a month without my dogs, but it's about to go up. Buckle up, this is long: I have had 3 inspections in the 6 months I have been living here. 1 when I first moved in in May, 1 in due to suspicion of smoking/marijuana in my building, and now 1 now that I've given my 60-day notice to leave, because I can't stand the new management. This most recent notice was not even a 24-hour notice as I put my 60-day notice in at 1:22pm today, didn't come home from work till about 5:30pm, and they want to enter somewhere between 9am-5pm tomorrow. Like, are you kidding me? Essentially lying on what will most likely be used as some kind of legal documentation. New management locked the outside doors to get into the bathroom from the pool, so you now have to go around the building and inside to use the restroom while soaking wet. Might as well let your kid pee in there if they want to be ridiculous like that, what a silly unnecessary little detail. They also now require BluePeak equipment to be installed in your apartment even though my lease said no such thing. I'm not even required to use it, but anyone signing a new lease will be. I unplugged it as I pay the electricity in the unit there is no reason for me to be responsible for equipment I should not be required to have installed. They are also adding more utilities for you to pay separately, so they're not really included in rent anymore (see attached photos for the notice that was given). I used to have a landlord who would put dog poop on my vehicle because he thought it was mine and I'd rather go back to that dump with roaches than stay here. This new company is awful. These aren't even newer styled apartments either, they're like 20 years old so I'm not sure why they think they're so entitled to treat good tenants like this.

I was only here for a short period of time but this is an AMAZING complex. The staff is not only friendly but super responsive. The set up of my apartment is very spacious and open. The views you get walking around the property are stunning. The amenities are also very nice :) You definitely get what you pay for in the best way possible!

Just wanted to pop on here and say how wonderful the Harmony Heights community has been for me and my husband! We moved here in March and we’ll sadly be leaving Fall due to Military Orders. If you’re wondering if you should give Harmony Heights a chance, the answer is YES and here’s why… We currently have a two bedroom apartment on the third floor (which has vaulted ceilings and gives the illusion of more space!) All of our appliances were nice and clean when we moved in and the carpeting was freshly cleaned (although, some powder residue was leftover.) Our neighbors are friendly, respectful, and quiet! We have never needed to make a noise complaint or anything like that. It’s peaceful here. We have a very nice and well-kept pool with two grilles (never super crowded), an outdoor great room with an additional grille and gas fire pit, a nice 24/hr gym with a few treadmills, elliptical, row machines, and free weights, and a beautiful outdoor walking trail that goes around our entire community (about a mile long.) We have package service; our packages are stored safely in lockers in the clubhouse (free of charge for 3 days.) We were also offered a non-smoking building or a smoke friendly building. As well as a non-pet friendly building and a pet friendly building. Harmony Heights offers lots of options and they are extremely inclusive! I’ve had to submit quite a few maintenance requests since moving in, (leaky fridge, AC going out, hot water going out, wasps nests outside on the balcony) but maintenance always responds within one day. They are super on top of it! And they are the nicest most efficient group of people! Our issues were always solved. The management team here is great! And they’re quick to respond via phone or email. Pamela is our wonderful apartment manager. She sends out monthly newsletters and hosts fun themed activities every month… in March, we had a leprechaun scavenger hunt, she always does candy jar guessing games in the front office, she gives residents opportunities to win monetary prizes (a little off rent or a small gift card or something, nothing too crazy), she also hosted a summer bbq bash in August with free food and drinks for the residents, and she’s been known to pass out free ice cream to people lounging by the pool! She also hires food trucks to come to our community from time to time! PJ is another one of my favorites! She was our leasing agent from the beginning. She helped us find our perfect apartment and she answered all of my million questions without getting frustrated. She is always up early, like 5am, cleaning up the clubhouse and pool area and keeping our community nice and neat! (We know, because we’re often at the gym while she’s starting her day.) She’s a super friendly woman. Harmony Heights is lucky to have her. Harmony Heights was our very first apartment and they have set the bar high for any other place we would consider leasing. Harmony Heights gets an A+ all around!

I lived here for a year, first apartment out of college. I couldn't have chosen a better place for my first apartment. Office staff is very friendly and helpful and called me by first name when I came in (I got a lot of packages). Moving in was smooth and the view from my apartment was great. I did have to clean bird droppings from the balcony frequently, but that's the worst thing I found about living here. Conveniently close to I-90 to make getting across town easy, but far enough away that noise isn't a problem. The walking path was great. Moving out was as smooth as moving in. Moved out of Rapid City for several months, but when I move back I'll be looking at Harmony Heights as an option again.

I loved living here! It was in a beautiful area with nice walking paths and great amenities. I got my full deposit back which was nice and I didn't think that would happen because kids.. staff fixed things pretty fast. The only things I didn't like were having white walls, we did have a draft with the windows and sometimes it got icy, draft in the second bedroom closet, no light in second room, I didnt like the shower in the master bath because it had some issues.. But we had great neighbors, low utilities, my husband and I actually had our wedding there because they have a huge clubhouse and it was super cheap to rent out. The pros outweigh the cons and I recommend this place to live. I would move back.

New management is the worst I've ever personally had in a decade of renting. They changed terms of my lease mid lease (not worth fighting for 2 months of add ons) and made me pay 80 bucks for internet I got for 50 bucks already. Utilities increased, rent increased, utility billing structure changed, landscaping/grounds keeping went out the window. I've had nothing but problems trying to pay rent, unavailable office staff and half a dozen random intrusions for photos "for the bank". Anyone considering renting from this new management company should pay attention to all the fees and "wonderful ammenities" offered in the lease. You're getting decades old housing for the price of new luxury housing. Ask them about the hornets and how long the pool stays open. I'm not one to complain but I've literally had better property management in neighborhoods with "firecrackers" being a regular occurrence.

LOVE this place. The apartment was nice but the community on a whole was just... muahh. The staff was immaculate. JP and her colleagues made it so easy. Maintenance would get your your apartment b4 you could after logging a ticket by the office (trust me, it happened lol) Really miss it there.

I do not live here but come here often to visit friends. The place is kept up really well, and I've never heard any loud noises through the walls from the neighbors. Seems like it would be a nice quiet place to live

👍 We just checked out from our two night stay at Gold Star Motel. The rooms were very clean, had hot showers, comfortable beds and a fridge. 😠 I stayed here for an extended period of time, paid $795.00 deposit. Spent $900.00 a month rent, and over 6000.00 what time I was there. When I left, I didn't owe anything, and I mostly cleaned the room before I left. I didn't give a full "7 days notice " ,but I did give them a couple days notice. An...
