Newish store. Super clean shiney. Got a simple burger with frings. Overall good food. The fry portion of the frings were more crunchy than I like but the onion rings were super yummy. I guess I'll go all rings next time.

First time eating here, it was quite delicious. A quaint lil restaurant hidden behind a store, it was calling out to me 😁 tried the mushroom & swiss burger and it was so good, the bread was so soft. Id go back again. 😋

We drove our Bunza to Runza (from their web site) from Rapid City, SD to Chadron, NE. That's 110 miles. My daughter loves Runza and I had to give it a try. It was well worth the drive. I even bought 4 frozen Runzas for home. I had the mushroom/ Swiss Runza. It was amazing! I would totally recommend and would go again.

We had a great experience here! My son has celiac disease and once we informed the staff about cross contamination, the manager himself went back and made my son's meal!

Given my mom gave them a stamp of approval, and she's made runzas for over 50 years, I'd say that's a good endorsement.

If you haven't already had a Runza, make this your first and only! All the employees were in great spirit, we were there at a busy time too! One of the best fast food experiences I've had!

Ordered 3 burgers, 1 beerock, and a salad, everything was cold. Burgers were cold in the middle like they had been in a fridge and were taken out and served. The cheese was even melted. The beerock was cold as well. The only thing served at temp was the salad, which the wife liked. And over priced, $50 for what we ordered. For that price we could have went to China House and had a nice hot meal. Will not be going back.

Clean, service was knowlegable, HOWEVER... The food was mediocre. Food lacks flavor and taste and had very strong onion overtones as well as being served cool, just a hint warm.

I had never heard of a Runza before eating here, so it was all a new experience. I had a Mushroom Swiss Runza and I liked it. It was very unique and the quality was top notch. I'm just not a big fan of the flavor.

Traveling through Nebraska, we knew we had to stop and try a Runza. We liked it! In fact, we enjoyed them enough to stop at two separate locations, this being the second. My wife ordered the original, I tried the spicy jack, one son ordered a burger, and our other son and daughter ordered chicken tenders. Everyone was satisfied with their meal! This location is very clean. The staff is friendly and got our order out to us fairly quickly! So if you have never had a Runza and are traveling through Nebraska, you need to try them out they are pretty good! We will next time we are there! And the strawberry shake is pretty darn good as well!!

They don’t have any vegan/Vegetarian opts but did make the salad without the chicken for me! The onion rings my husband and I shared is doubled dipped in homemade batter and fried to perfection ( i immediately want to go back for more!) husband said his Runza sandwich was absolutely fresh and delicious! The berry salad with homemade dressing was the bomb, lots of nuts and cranberries!

Had the double cheeseburger. Not the runza standard by any means. Dry and flavorless. Tried another sandwich with cabbage that had good flavor but was only about 5 bites. Ordered a chocolate cone that had a 1.5 inch swirl of ice cream on it. Will go to McDonald's next time.

Definitely the best Runza I've been to. Very clean, very friendly service, and very quick! A good place for a quick bite in Chadron.

Quick service and fresh food. One employee by the name of Jackson went above and beyond even offering to refill our drinks.

I usually love Runza food, and when I was not having the best day today I decided to go ahead and get some. I ordered a cheeseburger meal with no pickles "the runza way". When I got home and started to eat I noticed the fries were burnt one after the other. My burger was just cheese and ketchup on it. I have homework I have to get done tonight so I could not go back. I have worked in the service industry and understand these things happen. Please just double check the order back to the customer and check the bags. The people were very friendly and I do not want them getting into any trouble, just a slight reminder. :)

2nd time stopping here. 1st time. was really good. About a year ago. This time not so good. Cheeseburger, onion rings, Philly and cheese Runza. Liked enough the 1st time, to two and save one for later. Like many reviews state, a split open hot dog bun on both Runza. Cheese stuffed in, not melted in the cheese one and greasy as heck and small. So i was still hungry and started The Philly.... was like they pulled the meat out of a regular, mixed and stuffed in a hot dog bun split clear down the side and greasy as heck. Soggy bread. Burger was cold. Onion rings were cold and were like someone spilt the salt shaker on it and didn't care. Threw rings, most the burger and the Philly away. Stomach hurt later from the grease. Would be 1 star but staff was friendly! Not there fault as I am sure they have been trained this way. Won't return. Go to Edgemont and have their cabbage-burger rolls at the gas station. Puts this to shame. They had a line around the store...amazing.

We were extremely impressed with the service we got at noon today. Our compliments to the very efficient employees handling the front counter. The restaurant was very busy but everyone was greeted and treated pleasantly!!!! Thank you so much for such a pleasant lunch 😁

Food was good. Onion rings were nice and crispy. Good soda options. Sandwich was a bit disappointing. I thought the roll would wrap the sandwich, like the picture on the menu, but mine was on a regular hot dog roll.

The cashier was nice, the service was fast but the person making the food didn't care. I said no mayo on my burger. One because it tends to upset my stomach and two because to me it doesn't belong on a mushroom swiss burger. Must be a regional thing because NE is the only place I've seen put it on that type of burger. The cashier listened and put it down as no mayo, surprise it had mayo! So I ended up throwing most of it away.

When I had North to Nebraska I always look forward to eating at the runza's. I'm looking forward to get down into texas. Anybody goes that way and I definitely recommend they try the place, it is quite enjoyable.
