It's disgustingly filthy. Here's why. There is no front of the house management and operations. Pretty sure general manager was in the back of the house trying to keep up with food. Every single table was either full of dishes and filth or occupied. That said it was only 50% occupied. When you see staff standing around chitty chatting, debris all over the floor, dried on soda pop on the seats i that's been there a while, you get an air about the ownership, management and staff. Remember a restaurant isn't closed until the patrons have left. You shouldn't have patrons have to ask for a wet towel and a broom in order to feel comfortable. Which I did because I didn't even want to sit down. Instead of cleaning the table, they put a reserved sign on it instead. Pretty lame. How long does it take to wipe a table down? Thirty seconds at most. The buffet tables were ignored and gross. Green peppers in cottage cheese, cheese in peas, olives dropped in macaroni salad. .. you get the driift. Food all over the table and it was dried. Clearly been there for hours. Dressings were straight from a bottle. I'll upload more photos of when I can take more pictures. Gross I would have turned around and left if we weren't meeting people here and I hadn't already paid Worst food experience in rapid city. For $15/pp seriously, go elsewhere. Arby's is better food and way cleaner. Or order a pizza from domino's. I encourage you to enlarge photos for the full experience.

Food was always out. Nothing empty. Food was hot. Staff was prompt and friendly to my whole family. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Plenty of seating for a full house with high chairs for children. Bathrooms are also Clean

Great food for a group of people. And kids lived it. Variety was amazing! Friendly people and great service.

Adult buffet was $14 and well worth it. A large variety of different pizzas, sides, a decent salad bar, and a few dessert pizzas, as well as an ice cream machine. The place was clean, empty plates on the tables are picked up quickly, and empty dishes in the buffet are replaced quickly with new flavors. The bathrooms were very clean as well. This was my first time here but it was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Always good. They have people from various charity organizations bussing tables to raise money for the community. Good place to meet family.

Had my hubby's 50th b-day here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our party room was clean and ready for us. No charge for room. Food was good and they didn't run out of chicken!

We made arrangements to have a group of almost 150 adults and high school students. The staff was very well prepared to handle our big group and easy to work with to make these arrangements. They had spaces reserved for us; they have had some pizza ready for tables so that kids could start eating before going through the buffet. The staff kept the buffets fully stocked, even with the big rush of guests. Other staff was working to ensure that dirty plates were quickly picked up from tables. This was one of the smoothest meals that our group had while traveling.

We were those customers and came in five minutes till closing. they didn't treat us any different although I'm sure behind the doors they were wishing we would leave soon. They brought out more pizza for us and it was pretty fantastic. We know that you're in a rush to get out but they didn't rush us good people running in place and very attentive. 6/24/18

Great chicken, good pizza. Just an update; We ordered 100 pieces of chicken for our 40th anniversary and it was awesome. Great service guys and a whole lot of compliments. Lot more people know about you now. Go here , great food.

Visiting from out of town and decided to try this place. We got a large pepperoni pizza to go. It was pretty good. Pepperoni was a bit spicy but other than that, no complaints. We all enjoyed it.

My family and I enjoy going to cici's pizza. This place is like an upgraded cicis, the food was good, the service was friendly, and the place was clean. My kids had a lot of fun. My wife really liked the chicken. We will be back.

It's easy most of the time we are in Rapid City an easy choice to come to Pizza Ranch for dinner/Supper. The food in the buffet is excellent in my opinion, and I am a picky eater. Staff are friendly and prompt at picking up used plates and asking if there is anything else they can make dinning pleasant.

We are on vac and back home Pizza Ranch is one of our favorites. I went to get my food tonight and was shocked to see such a mess. Food everywhere outside the containers. Floor was a mess. No potatoes or gravy. Asked for ketchup.they have none. Went to get coffee to go with my cookie. No coffee .Salad bar a mess also. I did tell a worker that in our state of Mn heath department would shut u down. I wanted to take pics but my husband said forget it. So it’s only my word. Can’t wait to tell the owner s of Pizza Ranches back home that we support how great full we are that they keep them up nice.

1st time here and was surprised to find out that they have a to-go lunch special, which was what I wanted! Good flavor on the pizza, but I got a salad to go and they didn't have any forks to eat it with! Get some To-Go Forks PLEASE!

I had the best experience having this Pizza Ranch as my cater for my wedding on the 7th!!! The food was warm, delicious, filling, great price! The owner was there to make sure everything tuned out great, he even waited until everyone went through the line once to make sure everything was satisfactory. The owner was so communicative with my mom, they made it so easy that my mom and I didn’t have to worry one bit. Overall had the best experience and would recommend to any bride or any event for that matter to go with pizza ranch!!

Delicious fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The ice cream is like frozen custard. We're not from the area and wished there was one near us

Non rush hour pizza is ok. Lacks variety and normal type pizza. Had two pizzas with jalapeños and one taco pizza and some weird Hawaiian bbq. Those sat almost the whole time we were there. If you go during normal lunchtime, variety is better. Some of the chicken had feathers on it still when we went.

Brought myself, my husband, and my five kids here as typically this is a decent place to feed the family in a pinch. My baby choked on her drink and ended up throwing up because of it. I found someone and got a rag because I wasn't about to let the employees clean that up. I took my daughter out to the car and the rest of my family finished their meal. Husband comes out and informs me that nobody would take plates once I left. I get it, puke in any form is gross, but it isn't like we left the mess there. We didn't even ask for help cleaning. The kid clearing the plates went as far as messing around on his smart watch to avoid clearing plates from our table. I apologize for my kid getting sick there. Idk why she choked on her drink, but this was ridiculous and awful customer service.

Better for adults than Chucky Cheese. Nothing bad to say about the pizza, salad, chicken or other food. Buffing service was swift— not done with that plate yet— just paused for chewing lol. The arcade was close enough for parents but sound deadened and far enough for those who aren’t trying to hear all of that.

Food was good when you could get it. Think they needed more staff. Everything needed filled from the pizza to chicken and even empty salad bowl. They just fell behind on making stuff and at the busiest time of day. Ice cream machine sounded like it was going to die any minute. Was wishing we had gone to the other side of town

Extremely excellent food, everything was hot fresh and delicious! Table bussing was right there ready to take any empty dishes, the staff was friendly and the place was very clean. This is an excellent Pizza Ranch to frequent and recommend to others!

Delicious! Well is the chicken that good? You bet it is. On my list it's one of the top 5 I've ever had. Also pizza was delicious. Buffet had good choices. And a pizza/pastry desserts were awesome. Highly recommend.

This is always a favorite to meet up with family and friends for a relaxing lunch and visit. Plenty of room to find a corner and visit. Great variety of food and very clean.

This location has messed up my carry out wing order 3x. The first time they forgot the sauce. The second and third times they shorted my order of 16 wings.

Fairly decent pizza and I like the alternative pizzas like their taco/Mexican and the BBQ chicken. Dessert pizza is a huge favorite and the whole family likes the salad bar. Fun Zone is pricey but the game choices have recently been expanded which the kids love.

Group of 30 gathered for a family members birthday party. Used one of their side rooms- lots to eat, kids played in the arcade area while the adults conversed. Staff was in and out, checking on us but not trying to move us along. Worked out GREAT for us.

If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault! This place is very clean including the restrooms. The staff is constantly hustling to replenish food and keep the place in tip top shape! The food is awesome and there is a LOT of it. Take a light jacket or sweater, it was COLD in there yesterday...that was my only hiccup there.

We kept seeing Pizza Ranches on our way to SD, so we decided to give it a try. The pizza was delicious. The buffet line was clean, well stocked, and all fresh. If you would like a custom pizza, they will make whatever you want (even stuffed crust, or whatever crust type you’d like). The game room was clean and the games were fairly priced.

I like pizza ranch. The pizza's not bad and the fried chickens pretty yummy. The taco and apple pie pizza is the best. I don't recommend going during their fund raising events due to the fact that the kids have no concept of server/diner etiquette. It's nothing to have your plate taken off the table while still eating from it....
