Quality, affordable, and delicious. My go to spot since moving to Fishtown area 2 years ago. Friendly folks. Cash only but they do have an ATM inside. Lunch/Dinner specials are great!

Person I spoke with on the phone was very polite, the food was good, generous portions and very fair rates.

Best Chinese Take-Out location anywhere in Philly that I've been to. Taste great and good quantity too. I trust them with the food and they are very nice to you when you try to order via phone or teller.

No complaints here. Ordered wings & fried rice. They actually gave me 8 wings instead of 4 probably because they were so small in size. The taste factor was great though. The wings were perfectly cooked taste great didn’t need s&p on them. Rice was good too flavorful. You didn’t have to add soy or duck sauce to it if you didn’t want. I came at 10:30p & they closed at 11 and the food was still good. After ordering I went and sat in car to wait. When food was done the owner actually brought my food to the car which was surprising and nice. I will definitely be back

We have tried a few take out Chinese places close by and this is by far the best. My new go-to. Big portions, great price and solid food. Steamed pork wontons, Mei Fun, S&S Chicken. Someone else wrote about the fried pork chop so I ordered that too. It should not be missed! Two average sized bone-in pork chops with perfect breading, tender and great flavor and only $3.50! This place is a great "cheap" Chinese take out spot. Cash only, but there is an ATM there.

I always get fried jumbo shrimp and fried rice it’s pretty good. I only gave four stars bc they only have cash option for payment.

Just moved here from Florida and this is the best Chinese food I have had in so many years ....and the portions are so generous. You can tell that they change their oil because the food does not have an aftertaste

Since we moved here from out of state this has been our go to Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. I checked the ratings of all the Chinese restaurants in the area and I took the chance and am glad I did. We love their soup and Singapore Mei Fun. Thank you New Star!

Classic east coast style American Chinese food. Everything is read fast, piping hot, affordable, and big portions. General Tso chicken isn't all breading like most.
